Pond Station is a solar-powered sound installation by Zach Poff, commissioned in 2015 at Wave Farm in Acra, New York. Hydrophones placed under a freshwater pond stream its normally hidden underwater sounds — aquatic insects, frogs, gas bubbles and rain — live from dawn until sundown every day. The audio is also carried locally on Wave Farm Radio and WGXC 90.7-FM.
