Mama Bukedea Radio 102.1 FM is the first privately owned and registered commercial radio station in the Eastern Ugandan district of Bukedea. The station broadcasts in Ateso, English, Lumasaaba, Kiswahili, Lugwero, Luganda and other languages spoken in the greater cosmopolitan eastern districts. Its mandate is to inform, educate, entertain and empower the people of Teso, Bugisu, Karamoja, Sebei, Bukedi and surrounding areas.
