KCAM is a 5,000-watt community radio station serving the Copper River Valley in Southcentral Alaska, broadcasting on AM 790 from Glennallen and streaming online. Owned and operated by Joy Media Ministries, it airs national and local news, weather, community bulletins, Christian teaching and music ranging from country to contemporary Christian and oldies. The station first went on air in 1964, weeks after the Great Alaska Earthquake.
