KUPS 90.1 FM "The Sound" is the 100% student-run, non-commercial college radio station of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. It broadcasts freeform music programming 24 hours a day on 90.1 FM and online, with about 100 student and community DJs covering genres from indie and alternative to hip-hop, electronic and loud rock. The station is fully managed by students and gives DJs complete creative freedom.
