  • 141 // Are You Sure it's ADHD Holding You Back? 14.04.2026 11мин
Something I want to add to today’s episode is the importance of emotional regulation for ADHD. I’ve recently been reading a book by Jenna Free, The Simple Guide to ADHD Regulation, and it’s been so helpful! I also want to add that there are real struggles to ADHD and I am not trying to diminish those. I simply want to challenge you to view yourself with grace, curiosity and kindness, instead of self-loathing and shame.  What would change for you if you gave yourself grace, and functioned from a place of self-acceptance and love with ADHD, not of guilt and shame? (hint: as women with ADHD, we spend so much energy beating ourselves up and shaming ourselves - tip: apologize when necessary, but know that it’s not a reflection of your worth) In today’s episode, I want you to take a look at where you feel stuck and consider these questions: What is actually holding me back? Is it ADHD, or is it something else, like emotional dysregulation, fear or perfectionism? What would it look like for you to give something or someone a chance? How would it change your life? What would you experience if you truly believed that you are valuable? What would change if you believed you are capable of great things? I pray that today’s episode helps you to learn to give yourself grace, find practical supports and strategies, and step into your purpose with confidence—because you are enough and you are made on purpose.
