The Glen Cairn Ghost: A Freddie the Cat and Emma Pigeon Mystery 17.08.2024 3чFreddie, Emma and their best friend Henry the Terrier are worried there is an old ghost haunting their apartment building. The Glen Cairn Ghost is my latest book involving the characters of Emma, Freddie and Henry. This is the third in that series of their adventures. Years earlier I had previously published three novels with Emma, the pigeon who can read and Freddie, the cat who was formerly in show business. I recently returned to these characters because I loved them and actually missed hanging out with them and discovering what they might do next. This time, I added the character of Henry, the charming terrier who lives in the same building as Freddie, and where Emma lives on the roof ledge. In this adventure, Emma reads to the boys about famous ghosts who are known to haunt well-known buildings on the Upper West Side. They discover that their building is the home of the Glen Cairn Giant, the most ominous ghost of all. Emma sets out to prove these stories are untrue and that ghosts don’t actually exist. Her brave attempt is met with surprising, unexpected developments. As always, these three friends help and support one another through the most challenging situations.
