  Some people wish there were no speed limits on our roads. They say that people should have the freedom to decide for themselves what is a safe speed to drive. Imagine how chaotic, frightening, and dangerous driving on the roads would be if every person was given that responsibility. Just like road traffic rules are needed to keep order, safety, and the joy of driving, God has laws that govern His creation. Sadly, we have all broken God’s rules and face that penalty.   When the sun sinks below the horizon in the evening, we have faith that we will see it rise again in the morning. When we turn on a light switch, we believe the light will go on, even though electricity is invisible. In cases like these, our faith is based on past experience. When it comes to our relationship with God, faith is similar. We have past experience to go by. Like electricity, God is invisible. But we see Him at work. Various Bible verses help us to know about faith. Hebrews tells us that “faith is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Paul tells us that faith is the gift of God. Today’s lesson will endeavour to give insights into faith, as well as what to do with doubt and unbelief.
