SpaceX (SPCX) has held internal discussions about buying customer and operational information from troubled or defunct startups, according to people familiar with the matter, targeting a more affordable data source to improve its artificial intelligence models. The approach would mirror Google’s offer to purchase business data from Spirit Airlines for AI training purposes after the discount carrier wound down operations. The Alphabet Inc. company’s $10 million bid sparked some data privacy concerns, including from former flight attendants. Shares of the Elon Musk-led rocket company rose in trading on Thursday.  Paramount-Skydance (PSKY) shares fell on word the US Justice Department is urging a federal judge to order that states and trade union challenging the media giant's $110 billion takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery to post a bond to cover any potential late fees that result from their lawsuit. Paramount wants the states — led by California — and the Writers Guild of America to post a nearly $1.9 billion bond pending the outcome of their twin lawsuits, which are currently set for trial in March.
