49 Why It Feels Like God Has Forgotten You (When He Hasn't) 20.07.2026 8minHave you ever gone through something so hard that you wondered, "God... do You even see me anymore?" Maybe you've kept praying, kept reading your Bible, and kept trusting Him, but all you can feel is silence. In this episode of The Mindset Mom, we're talking about what to do when God feels distant, life feels unfair, and you can't see what He's doing. Through Job's story, Jesus' words in John 16:33, and lessons from my own life, you'll be encouraged to trust God's character even when your circumstances don't make sense. Friend, just because God feels silent doesn't mean He's absent. Sometimes we only see one page of the story while God is holding the entire book. Even in the hardest seasons, He is still working, still faithful, and still walking beside you. Scriptures Shared 📖 John 16:33 📖 Job 23:10 - "But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold." 💛 This Week's Homework The next time you catch yourself thinking, "God... where are You?" Pause and ask yourself: "Where have I seen God's faithfulness before?" Write down three times God carried you through a difficult season. Let His faithfulness in the past remind you that He is still faithful today. Remember, don't judge God's faithfulness by your current circumstances. Judge it by His unchanging character. 🩷 Ready for the Next Step? Begin your FREE 21 Days to Calm Anxious Thoughts journey! 48 How to Trust God When You Still Have Questions 16.07.2026 7minHave you ever found yourself reading the Bible and wondering, "Am I understanding this correctly?" Or maybe you've wrestled with difficult passages, heard different opinions, or questioned how to trust God when you don't have every answer. In this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share my own journey of learning to trust God's character even while I still have questions. We'll talk about why faith isn't the absence of doubt, how understanding God's heart changes the way we read Scripture, and why the goal isn't to know everything, it's to know Jesus. You don't have to have every answer to have a growing relationship with God. As you spend time in His Word and get to know His character, you'll discover that peace isn't found in certainty; it's found in trusting the One whose character never changes. Scriptures Shared: 📖 James 1:5 📖 James 4:8 📖 John 17:3 💛 This Week's Homework: The next time you open your Bible, ask yourself one simple question: 👉🏻 "What does this teach me about God's character?" Then pray: "Lord, help me know Your heart and become more like You." Remember, this journey isn't about having every answer. It's about growing closer to the One who does. 🩷 Ready for the Next Step? 47 How to Hear God's Voice (Without Wondering If You're Making It Up) 13.07.2026 10minHave you ever wondered if God is really speaking to you... or if it's just your own thoughts? In this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share something deeply personal that God laid on my heart during prayer and worship. We'll talk about what it actually looks like to grow in your relationship with Jesus, how the Holy Spirit guides us, and why recognizing God's voice isn't about hearing something dramatic; it's about becoming familiar with His heart. I'll share my own journey of growing closer to God over the past several years, the "God winks" that strengthened my faith, and why I believe lasting peace isn't found in trying harder... it's found in spending more time with Him. Friend, God isn't hiding from you. He desires a relationship with you, and the more time you spend with Him, the more you'll begin to recognize His voice. Scriptures Shared: 📖 John 10:27 📖 John 14:26 📖 James 4:8 💛 This Week's Homework: Spend just 10 intentional minutes with God this week. 📖 Read a small passage of Scripture. 🙏 Pray honestly. 💛 Then simply ask: "Lord, help me recognize Your voice and make my heart more like Yours." Don't rush. Just spend time with Him. Relationships grow one conversation at a time. Ready for the Next Step? Join my FREE 21 Days to Calm Anxious Thoughts walk! 46 How to Stop Replaying Your Mistakes (And Finally Feel Peace) 09.07.2026 7minDo you ever replay a mistake over and over in your mind? Maybe it's something you said to your child, a parenting decision you regret, a conversation that didn't go well, or a choice you wish you could take back. In this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share one of my biggest parenting regrets and how God taught me the difference between learning from a mistake and allowing it to define me. We'll talk about why our minds replay painful memories, the difference between conviction and condemnation, and how God's grace invites us to move forward rather than stay stuck in shame. Your mistakes are part of your story, but they are not your identity. Scriptures Shared: 📖 Romans 3:23–24 📖 Romans 8:1 💛 This Week's Homework: The next time you catch yourself replaying a mistake, pause and ask yourself: 👉🏻 What did this experience teach me? 👉🏻 What does God say about me? 45 Why You're So Hard on Yourself (And How to Finally Find Peace) 06.07.2026 8minDo you ever feel like no matter what you do... it's never enough? You replay conversations, second-guess your parenting, feel guilty for resting, and constantly wonder if you could've done more. In this episode of The Mindset Mom, we uncover why so many Christian moms are incredibly hard on themselves and why that constant self-criticism was never God's plan for you. I'll share how many of us learned to believe that being harder on ourselves would somehow make us better, when in reality it only leads to anxiety, exhaustion, and the feeling that we're never enough. We'll talk about the difference between conviction and condemnation, why God's voice sounds different than your inner critic, and how finding your identity in Christ is the first step toward lasting peace. You don't have to earn God's love or prove your worth. You already belong. Scriptures Shared: 📖 Ephesians 2:10 📖 Romans 8:15–16 💛 This Week's Homework: The next time you catch yourself being critical of yourself, pause and ask: 👉🏻 Would I say this to someone I love? Then ask: 👉🏻 Would God say this to me? If the answer is no, replace that thought with what God says instead. Ready for the Next Step? Join my FREE 21 Days to Calm Anxious Thoughts Walk! 44 Why Nothing Ever Feels Like Enough (And the Habit That Changes Everything) 02.07.2026 8minDo you ever feel like you're always chasing the next thing? The next paycheck. The next season. The next goal. The next answered prayer. In this episode of The Mindset Mom, we talk about how anxiety and our culture constantly pull our attention toward what's missing instead of what God has already provided. I share a personal realization God has been teaching me lately: how I became so focused on the future that I almost missed the incredible blessings and answered prayers I was already living in. We'll explore how gratitude isn't just a feeling; it's a mindset that renews our hearts, helps us steward what God has given us, and brings peace to the present moment. Friend, maybe nothing is actually missing. Maybe you've simply been looking so far ahead that you've forgotten to celebrate where God has already brought you. Scriptures Shared:📖 Matthew 6:34📖 1 Thessalonians 5:18 💛 This Week's Homework: Walk through your home today. 43 Why You Always Feel Behind (The Lie That's Keeping You Stuck) 29.06.2026 8minDo you constantly feel like everyone else has life figured out except you? Like you're always trying to catch up... with your home, your kids, your finances, your faith, or even your healing? In this episode of The Mindset Mom, we uncover one of the deepest lies many Christian moms unknowingly believe: that they're always behind or somehow not enough. I share part of my own journey of realizing that my struggle wasn't really a lack of confidence. It was believing I wasn't worthy of the life God had placed on my heart. Together, we'll talk about how old beliefs quietly shape our thoughts, why we compare ourselves to everyone else, and how discovering our identity in Christ changes everything. Friend, maybe you're not actually behind. Maybe you've simply been believing a story that God never wrote about you. Scriptures Shared:📖 1 John 3:1📖 Ephesians 2:10 💛 This Week's Homework: The next time you catch yourself feeling behind, pause and ask yourself: 👉🏻 What am I believing about myself right now? 👉🏻 Did God ever say that? 42 Why God's Truth Doesn't Always Feel True (And How to Change That) 25.06.2026 7minHave you ever read a Bible verse, believed it in your head... but still found yourself feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or afraid? In this episode of The Mindset Mom, we talk about why that happens and why it doesn't mean your faith is weak. Years of repeated thoughts and beliefs don't disappear overnight. God calls us to renew our minds, and that process takes intentional repetition. I'll explain how faith and neuroscience work beautifully together, why God's truth often doesn't feel natural at first, and how repeatedly choosing His truth can begin to change the way you think, feel, and respond. 41 Why You Can't Stop Negative Thoughts (The Belief That's Keeping You Stuck) 22.06.2026 8minHave you ever wondered why you know what the Bible says... but still struggle to believe it? In this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share one of the biggest breakthroughs in my own healing journey: learning the difference between thoughts and beliefs. Our anxious thoughts often reveal deeper beliefs we've unknowingly agreed with for years, beliefs shaped by past experiences, painful relationships, repeated disappointments, or childhood messages. Until we recognize those beliefs, we'll continue fighting the same thought patterns. I also share the powerful question my mentor kept asking me, which completely changed my identity and helped me realize I wasn't living as if God's promises belonged to me. You don't have to become someone else. You simply have to begin believing who God says you already are. ____________________________________________________________________________ Scriptures Shared:Romans 12:2 | 2 Corinthians 10:5 💛 This Week's Homework: Take a few quiet minutes and ask yourself: 👉🏻 What thought keeps showing up? 👉🏻 What belief is underneath that thought? 👉🏻 Where did that belief come from? Then ask yourself one final question: Did God ever say that? You just have to start believing who God says you are. In this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share why old thought patterns often return during stressful seasons, why it doesn't mean you've failed, and how to stop agreeing with thoughts that don't align with God's truth. If you've been struggling with anxiety, overthinking, negativity, or finding it difficult to hold onto peace, this episode will encourage you and remind you that growth isn't about never having negative thoughts; it's about learning what to do when they show up. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ." 38 Why You Keep Reacting the Same Way (And the Next Step to Real Change) 11.06.2026 11minHave you ever found yourself thinking: "Why am I still reacting like this?" If so, you're not alone. One of the most frustrating parts of healing is becoming aware of your thoughts, behaviors, triggers, and patterns... and then realizing you still find yourself reacting the same way sometimes. In this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share one of the biggest lessons I learned during my healing journey: awareness is the beginning of healing, but awareness alone does not create change. I talk about why old thought patterns often continue long after we've recognized them, how our brains develop automatic responses over time, and the practical process that helped me create REAL change. If you've ever felt discouraged because you know better but still struggle with the same reactions, this episode will help you understand why that happens and what the next step to real change actually looks like. Awareness reveals the old pathway. Repetition creates the new one. Just because you still notice old thoughts doesn't mean you're failing. The fact that you can see them now is actually evidence that healing is happening. One of the biggest shifts in my healing journey happened when I stopped agreeing with every thought that entered my mind. Instead of automatically believing my fears, worries, or assumptions, I started asking: 👉🏻 Is this actually true? 👉🏻 Or is this an old belief? 👉🏻 What does God say about this? That simple shift began changing everything. Because renewing your mind isn't just becoming aware of a thought. It's intentionally replacing it with truth. Scriptures Shared: Romans 12:2 | Isaiah 41:10 | Philippians 4:6-7 | Romans 8:15 Proverbs 3:5-6 | Matthew 11:28 📝 Homework & Community The Thought Audit Think about what the most common recurring thoughts you have that might be holding you back. 37 Why You Feel Stuck in Survival Mode (And the 5 Things That Helped Me Get Out) 08.06.2026 13minDo you ever feel like you're always preparing for the next problem? If you're a Christian mom who feels exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious, or like you're constantly just trying to get through the day, you may be stuck in survival mode without even realizing it. Maybe your mind is constantly scanning for what could go wrong. Maybe you struggle to relax fully. Maybe peace feels temporary, and no matter how much progress you've made, you still find yourself slipping back into anxiety, control, overthinking, people pleasing, or emotional exhaustion. In this episode of The Mindset Mom, I'm sharing the five biggest things that helped me move from survival mode toward peace, healing, and freedom. I share how survival mode showed up throughout different seasons of my life through anger, emotional reactivity, codependency, hyper-independence, guilt, control, and constantly trying to stay one step ahead of potential problems. What I didn't realize at the time was that many of those behaviors were actually attempts to create safety. I also share how health struggles became the catalyst that led me into personal development, mindset work, journaling, mentorship, trauma education, nervous system healing, and ultimately a deeper understanding of my identity in Christ. If you've ever felt like you're carrying the weight of everything... constantly preparing for what could go wrong, or struggling to experience peace, this episode will help you better understand WHY. You will learn: Why survival mode develops in the first place How trauma, stress, instability, and emotional pain affect the nervous system The hidden ways survival mode can show up through control, overthinking, hyper-independence, people pleasing, and perfectionism Why survival patterns often continue long after the original danger is gone The five biggest things that helped me move from survival mode toward peace How awareness became the starting point for healing Why daily mindset work and journaling helped me recognize unhealthy patterns and beliefs How replacing fear with God's promises transformed my thinking The connection between physical health, emotional health, and mental well-being Why boundaries became a critical part of my healing journey How understanding my identity in Christ finally helped me feel safe Survival mode is not who you are. It's a learned response, and healing begins when you stop trying to create safety through control and start finding safety in God's truth. One of the biggest things I've learned through healing is that true safety is not found in: 👉🏻 control 👉🏻 people pleasing 👉🏻 perfectionism 👉🏻 hyper-independence 👉🏻 overthinking 👉🏻 or constantly preparing for the next problem True safety is found in knowing whose you are. The answer is simple: 🩷 You are a child of God. That truth became one of the safest places I have ever found. Scriptures Shared: Isaiah 41:10 | 2 Timothy 1:7 | Psalm 46:10 | Romans 8:15 📝 Homework & Community: The Safety Reflection This week, ask yourself: 👉🏻 What currently makes me feel safe? Then ask: 👉🏻 Is that true safety, or is it control? Spend some time reflecting on where you may still be trying to create safety through: 🫶🏻 overthinking 🫶🏻 people pleasing 🫶🏻 perfectionism 🫶🏻 hyper-independence 🫶🏻 carrying everyone else's burdens Then ask yourself: 👉🏻 What would it look like to trust God with those areas instead? 36 Why You Feel Constantly Overwhelmed (And How to Find Peace) 04.06.2026 10minIn this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share how years of stress, overthinking, emotional suppression, hyper-responsibility, and survival mode eventually left me mentally and emotionally exhausted, and how learning about nervous system regulation completely changed the way I viewed overwhelm. If you constantly feel overstimulated, emotionally reactive, mentally exhausted, or like your brain never fully rests, this episode will help you better understand WHY. An overloaded nervous system struggles to hold peace, patience, clarity, and emotional regulation… because it’s already carrying too much. One of the biggest things God has been teaching me is that stewardship includes how we care for: 🩷 our mind 🩷 our body 🩷 our emotions 🩷 and our nervous system too Sometimes healing looks like: 👉🏻 prayer 👉🏻 renewing your mind 👉🏻 slowing down 👉🏻 boundaries 👉🏻 counseling 👉🏻 mentorship 👉🏻 and learning how to regulate your nervous system Seeking support does NOT mean you lack faith. Sometimes wisdom looks like getting the help your mind and body need so you can finally breathe again. Scriptures Shared: Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Romans 12:2 “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” 1 Corinthians 6:19 “Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.” Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything…” 📝 Homework & Community: The “Oxygen Mask” Reflection This week, ask yourself: “What am I carrying right now that is overwhelming my nervous system?” Then ask: “What would putting my oxygen mask on FIRST look like this week?” Maybe it’s: 🫶🏻 resting 🫶🏻 saying no 🫶🏻 asking for help 🫶🏻 scheduling an appointment 🫶🏻 drinking more water 🫶🏻 journaling 🫶🏻 praying 🫶🏻 creating healthier boundaries Small daily shifts matter more than you think 🩷 Share this episode with a mom who may be walking through a lonely season of growth right now. 35 Why You Feel Emotionally Drained Around Certain People (And How to Protect Your Peace) 01.06.2026 13minIn this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share my personal journey with people pleasing, emotional hypervigilance, childhood trauma, and learning how growing up around emotional instability can unknowingly train your nervous system to carry emotions and burdens that were never yours to hold. Growing up watching my mom endure abuse, heartbreak, financial struggles, and emotional pain caused me to subconsciously take on the responsibility of not adding stress, fixing problems, protecting others emotionally, and constantly monitoring the emotions of people around me. If you’ve ever felt emotionally drained around certain people, this episode will help you understand: 🫶🏻 Why you absorb other people’s emotions 🫶🏻 How childhood patterns affect emotional overwhelm 🫶🏻 Why empathy without boundaries leads to exhaustion 🫶🏻 How to protect your peace without guilt You’ll learn: Why certain people leave you feeling emotionally exhausted How people pleasing and hypervigilance develop from childhood environments How childhood trauma can create emotional responsibility patterns Why empathy without boundaries becomes emotional exhaustion Why protecting your peace is NOT selfish How faith, wisdom, and nervous system healing work together Empathy without boundaries often becomes emotional exhaustion. One of the biggest things God may teach you through healing is this: 👉🏻 You can love people deeply without carrying responsibility for their healing, emotions, or choices. Sometimes when you begin: 🫶🏻 protecting your peace 🫶🏻 saying no 🫶🏻 creating healthier boundaries 🫶🏻 or stewarding your emotional health differently …other people may not fully understand it, and sometimes they may even become upset. But other people’s reactions are not always proof that you are doing something wrong. Sometimes your growth forces other people to recognize areas where THEY need healing too. And that has nothing to do with your worth. Scriptures Shared: Galatians 6:5 “For each one should carry their own load.” Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.” 📝 Homework & Community: The “Check What’s Mine” Reset The next time you feel emotionally overwhelmed around someone, pause and ask yourself: “What emotions here actually belong to ME?” Then ask: “Am I supporting this person or am I emotionally carrying them?” And remind yourself: 🩷 “I can care deeply without carrying everything.” If you’ve been feeling emotionally drained lately… Please know: 👉🏻 You are not too sensitive 👉🏻 You are not selfish for needing boundaries 👉🏻 You are not responsible for carrying everyone emotionally Healing often means learning the difference between: 🫶🏻 compassion - and - emotional responsibility And protecting your peace is not selfish. It’s stewardship. Share this episode with a mom who may be walking through a lonely season of growth right now. 34 Why Anxiety Keeps Your Mind Spiraling (Even When You’re Praying About It) 28.05.2026 16minHave you ever laid in bed completely exhausted, but your mind just keeps going? 👉🏻 replaying conversations👉🏻 worrying about the future👉🏻 preparing for worst-case scenarios👉🏻 overanalyzing everything Maybe you’ve prayed about it, but your thoughts still won’t slow down. And then you start wondering: 🤔 “Why can’t I calm my mind?”🤔 “Why do I keep spiraling?”🤔 “Why do I still feel anxious even when I’m praying?” In this episode of The Mindset Mom, I share my personal journey with anxiety, overthinking, hyper-independence, control, emotional exhaustion, and the nervous system patterns I didn’t even realize were driving my thoughts for years. Growing up watching a strong single mom handle everything created subconscious beliefs around control, self-protection, and always needing to stay alert. Over time, those patterns showed up through micromanaging, catastrophizing, mental spiraling, emotional overwhelm, and constantly feeling responsible for everything. If you’ve ever felt mentally exhausted from trying to hold everything together, this episode will help you understand:👉🏻 Why anxiety keeps your mind stuck in loops👉🏻 How your nervous system affects overthinking👉🏻 Why peace is not created through control👉🏻 How to begin calming your mind through faith, awareness, and nervous system support You’ll learn: 🩷Why anxiety often creates spiraling thoughts and overthinking🩷How control and hyper-responsibility can fuel mental exhaustion🩷The connection between your nervous system and anxious thinking🩷Why childhood patterns and survival mode affect the way you think today🩷How catastrophizing and mental spiraling are often attempts to create safety🩷Struggling with anxiety does NOT mean you are failing spiritually🩷How faith and nervous system healing can work together🩷A simple, practical tool to calm your body and mind during anxiety spirals Overthinking is often your brain trying to create safety through control. But anxious thinking rarely creates peace. Sometimes we think:“If I trusted God more, I wouldn’t feel anxious.” But anxiety is not always a lack of faith. Sometimes your mind and body have learned survival patterns, and peace is not created by controlling everything. Peace comes from learning to: 🫶🏻 slow down 🫶🏻 breathe 🫶🏻 become aware 🫶🏻 calm your nervous system 🫶🏻 and trust God one moment at a time Scriptures Shared: Philippians 4:6-7 | 2 Corinthians 10:5 | Isaiah 26:3 | Psalm 46:10 📝 Homework & Community: The “Pause + Pray + Ground” Reset If your mind has been feeling loud lately… Please know:👉🏻 You are not crazy👉🏻 You are not weak👉🏻 You are not failing spiritually Sometimes your nervous system has simply learned how to stay in survival mode.
