  • NO FILTER: Rachel Ward Looks Her Age. When Did That Become Radical? 15.05.2026 1h 11min
Rachel Ward recently went viral for a video filmed in a paddock on her farm. The internet had a lot to say about how she looked. At 66, the former Thorn Birds star suddenly found herself at the centre of a global conversation about ageing, beauty, and what people expect women who were once famous for their looks to look like decades later. In this episode of No Filter, Rachel talks to Kate Langbroek about the viral moment and why she believes the reaction had very little to do with her and everything to do with society’s discomfort with women ageing in public. Rachel reflects on her extraordinary life, from British aristocracy to international fame, from Hollywood film sets to regenerative farming on the mid north coast of New South Wales. She also speaks candidly about mental health, the “crumbles” that forced her to reassess everything, and the instinct she has learned to trust when it is time to leave one chapter of her life behind and begin another. • Introducing: UNLEASHED 16.04.2026 50min
Welcome to the rogue, unfiltered and slightly unhinged podcast for Gen X women who need a laugh. Forget inspirational life coach energy. Forget toxic positivity. This is the show for the woman who is looking for an antidote to the bin-fire of right now. From the brain of Mia Freedman comes a podcast that’s not inspirational in the slightest. You don’t need to learn anything or remember anything either. Just turn up. Join your smartest, most brilliant friends; Sally Hepworth, Mary Coustas, Bruna Papandrea, Grace Lam, Cathrine Mahoney, and Dr Ginni Mansberg for a bit of distraction, some helpful things, and a lot of laughs. In today's episode: Cath booked a wax...and it did not go to plan. Sally had a case of celebrity mistaken identity. Mary told a driver to get f**cked and it turned out to be her own mother, and Bruna accidentally did a little wee in a designer dress (and then had to buy it). And how was your first kiss? Because these women absolutely butchered theirs. In your ears today: Sally Hepworth, Mary Coustas, Bruna Papandrea and Cath Mahoney The End Bits:Follow us on Instagram, DM us thoughts, feelings and questions @unleashed.showLove the show? • Getting Married Again After 50 First Dates 21.03.2025 51min
Welcome to a special episode from Mamamia's podcast for Gen X women, MID.  This episode is all about all. Specifically, it’s about finding it in your MID years. Maybe for the second, fourth, first time. This is a story about Dr Amantha Imber, an organisational psychologist who got divorced a few years ago. When Amantha knew she wanted to re-partner, she went about it with a typical approach to efficiency - going on more than 50 first dates in her first stint of online dating. Those dates had strict rules and boundaries, time limits and schedules and… they didn’t work. So then, Amantha drew up a brief and cold-called a long list of people in her circle who might know the person she was looking for…. But… well, that didn’t work either. You can learn more about Amantha and follow her work here. You can purchase Amantha's book The Health Habit here. You can also listen to her podcast, How I Work, here. THE END BITS:  You can listen to our second ever episode was called the Mid Life Dating Pool Has Wee In it, and it was about Catherine Mahoney’s chaotic app-dating world and it was very very funny here.
