  "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor!"Just over 20 years ago, on June 20th, 2006, WWE brought us the 2nd episode of ECW on Sci-Fi. The first episode of WWE ECW has taken place to much criticism, but also a fantastic rating of over 3 million viewers. With the debut of talent like Kurt Angle & Big Show, as well as characters like The ECW Zombie, no one really knew what to expect from this show. Seemingly, that 'no one' included the people in charge. The night before on WWE Monday Night RAW, ECW showed up to interrupt the show. Sabu made his presence known by not only attacking John Cena, but a chair thrown at Cena's head bust him wide open. This, of course, is to set up the match between John Cena & Sabu at this Sunday's "Vengeance" PPV.Our main event for the evening also involves two superstars from RAW; Edge & Randy Orton. They're here to take on the team of Kurt Angle & Rob Van Dam. RVD had also shown up on RAW the night before to attack his opponent for Vengeance, Edge! ROH!" into the microphone.John Cena recently joined the brand, and is already at odds with current RAW General Manager, Eric Bischoff, who looks to make an example out of Cena via Chris Jericho. This isn't the only person Jericho has a problem with, though, as Jericho interrupts Carlito's "Carlito's Cabana" talk show. They both argue over who should interview Shawn Michaels about why he attacked Hulk Hogan, but ultimately, the original wrestling-talk-show-host "Rowdy" Roddy Piper shows up to steal the spotlight, and will have HBK on his show later tonight!Speaking of Carlito, he will be defending his Intercontinental Championship against Shelton Benjamin, the man he cheated out of the championship at WWE Vengeance just a couple weeks ago. Rection comes out to say that he stands with Lex Luger. Team Canada's own Lance Storm attacks General Rection, which sets up our unsanctioned main event!"Above Average" Mike Sanders is here to run the show, as Vince Russo is not here. Well, he is in this town, as he does an interview with Mike Tenay later, but he just isn't at this show, like most top guys aren't. As mentioned, The Invasion is still in 'full' swing, and The Rock is the current WCW World Heavyweight Champion. On this episode of RAW in Toronto, Canada, Christian gets a chance to win the big gold! He's so confident, that he even gives Edge back the King of the Ring trophy that he's been parading around with.   "This Will NEVER Be Over!"We're coming up on Memorial Day, so what better way to celebrate America than by watching a Memorial Day episode of WWE Monday Night RAW?! Hooray! Of course, we are only a few weeks removed from the last episode of RAW from 2006 we watched, which means we are right in the middle of Kane's "May 19th" situation.   "I'm not good enough to call BACKLASH?!"The May 1st, 2006 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW brings us the fallout from the PPV that took place the night before, Backlash! Of course, to capitalize on the momentum of this PPV, Vince McMahon opens the show & lets everyone know that he doesn't really feel like working tonight, and he is going to let all of the members of the Spirit Squad run the show. Yes, all of them. Kenny. Johnny. Mitch. Nicky. Mikey. All of them.Of course, that comes with a lot of "interesting" matches, including John Cena defending his WWE Championship against the 20 year old Kenny. Three of the members of the Spirit Squad also very fairly put themselves in a 6-man tag against "The Odd Squad" of Eugene, Snitsky, & Goldust. Of course, that's not all the Spirit Squad does on this episode, as they decide to set their sights on the lead commentator of RAW at the time, Joey Styles.The Spirit Squad, during the live broadcast, tell Joey Styles to go backstage to have a meeting with them, where they dress him down for being bad at his job, and not having enough "spirit". Yes, Kevin Federline made the challenge to the current WWE Champion, and he accepted.Kevin Federline isn't the only person John Cena has to worry about, though. We're less than a week away from WWE New Year's Revolution, where Cena will be defending his WWE Championship against Umaga. With Macho Man trapped in the ropes, Jake Roberts brought a King Cobra over to him just so it could take a big bite out of Macho Man's arm! Censored on some stations, uncensored on others, this was one of the craziest things to happen on WWF TV.We're also on the road to WWF Survivor Series 1991, which took place on the Wednesday following this episode of Superstars of Wrestling. The biggest match on the card is the "Gravest Challenge", which puts current WWF Champion Hulk Hogan against The Undertaker. We hear from both of them, especially The Undertaker, throughout the night.Speaking of Survivor Series, you can't have a Survivor Series without the traditional Survivor Series matches! Survivor Series! Yes, The Rock came up with this plan, just so he could hit The British Bulldog with The Rock Bottom onto a tray of dog poop.Also on this show, Jim Ross has his first wrestling match ever. We couldn't believe it either! Triple H has pushed JR over the edge, causing him to attack him from behind. The TNA World Championship is on the line in a tag team match on PPV. Kurt is teaming up with his now-rival, Kevin Nash, to take on Sting & a partner of Sting's choosing. Kurt has taken it upon himself, with help from his partner-in-crime "JB" Jeremy Borash, to interrogate the members of the TNA roster to find out who this mystery partner could be. From Jay Lethal, to Robert Roode, to Kip James & BG James, and everyone in-between, they all have to take a seat and get questioned by Kurt Angle.While this is going on, we do have some wrestling! The TNA World Tag Team Championships are on the line, as the current champions AJ Styles & Tomko take on LAX, Homicide & Hernandez. The Fight For Your Right tournament for a shot at the TNA World Championship is also going on, as we're onto the semi finals. James Storm is set to take on Kaz, and Christian Cage was meant to take on Junior Fatu (Rikishi), but he is not here. We do not know why. Does anyone want to tell us why?Kevin Nash is also on his own mission to find out who Sting's partner is at the PPV, and we check in on him through the night as he makes some phone calls to some "friends".
