'Al-Qur'an: Arabic Recitals (Hafs) & English Narration of the Themes, Translations, and Exegesis' by Qaiser Zaman 13.07.2026 4minEpisode 1 (Preview, pub. in UK Sept. 2020; updated on 15/7/26):'Al-Quran: An Approach to Classical Learning for Post-Modern Development and Practice' was launched as a preview in Sept. 2020, featuring Arabic Recital (in Egyptian-Hafs/Tadweer reading-style of recitation) and Shakespearean English Translation and Exegesis, authored by Allama Abdullah Yusuf Ali (based on his original and uncopyrighted manuscript of 1931-34, a citizen of Indo-Pakistan, who died in 1953 in London and was laid to rest in Surrey. May God/Allah bless his soul for one of the most-widely read and monumental work in research, and poetic & classical English translation and exegesis of the Holy Qur'an. This Podcast Series represents a structured effort to be a conduit or bridge between the traditional & classical & modern Islamic Scholars and general global audience.The recital & narration of the first chapter follows the structure laid out by the author, as below. Ch. 1: Surah: Al-Fatiha or The Opening (preview or trial-run): 1. Introductory Theme (for each Surah)2. English Translation of the Arabic Qur'an3. Arabic Qur'an Recitals (Hafs-Style in Tadweer) 4.
