How Should a Christian View Medical Assistance in Dying? 10.09.2026 27minStuart Wachowicz - TVCA1503 - In ancient Greece, physicians took an oath as they began their medical career. A form of the Hippocratic oath has been used for North American doctors for several decades. It includes the prohibition of giving "a deadly drug to anyone who asks for it." We can see that this promise is no longer very compatible with the social demands and expectations of today's society. As general healthcare practices, government legislations and public opinion change to allow, support and even encourage the practice of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID), how should a Christian respond to this increasingly common practice? -
The Rapture: Fact or Fiction? 14.08.2026 28minMany Christians passionately believe in the hope of the Rapture--the belief that before the terrors of the Great Tribulation descend upon the world, Christians around the globe will suddenly and mysteriously vanish, “raptured away” by Christ, as they are taken up into heaven to wait out the terrible events of that prophesied time of devastation and destruction. Meanwhile, those “left behind” must face the forces of the Antichrist and the Beast of Revelation, and all the suffering that those years will bring until Jesus Christ returns to finally settle the score. Millions of people worldwide look forward to the Rapture as the culmination of their hopes and dreams. But is this what the Bible actually teaches? Or should we expect end-time events to be very different? Join us right now on Tomorrow’s World as we open God’s word and determine whether the Rapture is Fact or Fiction. -
Will War Ever End? 17.08.2023 28minPresenter: Gerald E. Weston - TVCA1202 Mankind had spent the last decades attempting to build institutions that could end war. Yet, war is again upon us. Will wars ever end? -
Understanding the Context of the New Testament 10.06.2025 26minStuart Wachowicz - TVCA1404 - To fully understand the Epistles of Paul and much of the teaching of the New Testament, one must first understand the context of the times and society in which they were written. What was society like in those Jewish, Greek, and Roman communities that allowed Christianity to suddenly flourish? -
What You Need to Know About John 3:16 20.08.2026 24minGerald Weston - TVCA1501 - Jesus came to die the penalty for our sins. But what does that mean? The answer to this question may shock you. It can be found by studying one of the most famous passages in the entirety of scripture—John 3:16. Often referred to as ‘the Golden verse,’ this passage includes information vital to answering some of the most complex questions related to the Bible. -
And Women Rule Over Them 10.08.2026 28minThe mishandling of student protests over Israel’s war in Gaza brought about the resignation of three Ivy League University Presidents in 2023 and 2024: Liz Magill of the University of Pennsylvania, Claudine Gay of Harvard, and Minouche Shafik of Columbia University. A fourth Ivy League President, Cornell’s Martha Pollack, also resigned, but claimed that she was considering stepping down prior to the protests. Strong calls were also made for Sally Kornbluth of MIT to resign amid the protests. Something that struck me at the time was that all five of these prestigious university presidents were women. This is not to say that the same would not have happened had men been in charge at the time, but it surprised me how much women were taking over the ranks of university education. For more perspective, not including interim presidents, the eight schools that make up the Ivy League have had 173 top leaders in their histories. During their long and distinguished histories, it was not until 1977 when Yale’s Hanna Gray became the first female to hold that position in an Ivy League school. Maurie McInnis now holds that position. But since Hanna Gray, the top positions have increasingly gone to women—15 altogether. Why such a turnaround? What does it mean? At the end of this Tomorrow’s World telecast, I’ll show you how one woman led Israel to victory when masculinity was a matter of question and seemingly in short supply. I’ll also show you that the turnaround that we see in today’s western society was prophesied 2,700 years ago in the pages of the Bible. -
The Prophecy of the Millennium 14.08.2026 25minStuart Wachowicz - TVCA1502 - Throughout mankind’s history, illness, depression, crime, and war have been thought of as unfortunate but normal. Considerations of global societies where none of these problems exist are often dismissed as fanciful tales of ‘utopia.’ ‘Utopia’ usually refers to an imaginary state, not something that could happen in the real world. The Bible contains many prophecies of a time when conditions on the earth will lack the unpleasant realities we now consider normal. Explore the better world that will soon replace our present world order. -
Three Biblical Keys to Better Health 20.03.2025 28minThe cost of health care has been rising worldwide. People all over the world are feeling the pinch. And out of all the countries around the world, Americans spend the most on healthcare. According to US government data: “U.S. health care spending grew 7.5 percent in 2023, reaching $4.9 trillion or $14,570 per person. As a share of the nation's Gross Domestic Product, health spending accounted for 17.6 percent.” But what if I told you there are things you can do, at no cost, that can have an over-sized impact on your health? Is it too good to be true? Ok, let me re-phrase that. There is a cost. There is always a cost. But the costs I’m talking about are not dollars, pounds or euros, but small changes in your life. They take a little bit of time and effort. And they come out of the pages of the Bible. But they carry no hit to your wallet or pocketbook. So, join us today on Tomorrow’s World, as we unlock “Three Biblical Keys to Better Health.” -
The Coming Wars for the Middle East 20.11.2024 26minMichael Heykoop - TVCA1309 The Middle East is in constant turmoil. Will Iran, Turkey or Saudi Arabia come to control this important region? The Bible predicts two future wars for control of the Middle East. -
The Beast Is Rising 25.06.2025 28minThe Bible is once again proving its skeptics wrong. Who foresaw the dramatic shift in German thinking that began suddenly less than four years ago—a shift that continues to intensify? The answer is, those who understand Bible prophecy—prophecies highlighted here at Tomorrow’s World for many years. We did not come up with this due to greater intellect, or by looking into a crystal ball, following Nostradamus, or consulting a spook in the night. It is all there in the Scriptures. Tomorrow’s World has for decades shown from the biblical books of Revelation, Daniel, Isaiah, and elsewhere that Germany will once again become a dominant military force in Europe—and that events will cause ten nations or kingdoms in Europe to give their power over to a German-led military and economic colossus that Scripture calls the Beast. Naysayers have ridiculed the idea of another European revival of the Roman Empire, but that is what is beginning to happen even as you view this program. It’s never a good idea to bet against God and His word! On today’s program I will show you what is happening in Europe and what the Bible says will happen. I’ll also be offering you a free resource, Germany in Prophecy, so be sure to have writing material available to take down our contact information. -
Will You Be Raptured? 10.10.2024 21minGerald Weston - TVCA1305 There is a popular myth that the second coming of Jesus Christ could happen at any time, even tonight. But this is a false doctrine that is contrary to scripture. A similar doctrine teaches that Christians will be whisked away to heaven in a sudden rapture as a way to escape the prophetic times ahead. How can so many be confused on this topic? What does the Bible really say? -
The Surprising Message of Micah the Prophet 24.07.2026 28minA quarter to one third of the Bible is prophecy. And yet most people don’t take Bible prophecy seriously. Long-time viewers of Tomorrow’s World know that on this program, we not only discuss world news, current events, and Christian living. We discuss Bible prophecy. And it’s not just because it’s a curiosity. It’s not just to discuss exciting things about the future. If we have ears to hear, God has a message for us in His word… Especially as end-time events draw nearer. We need to understand Bible prophecy. So today on Tomorrow’s World, let’s dive into one of the prophetic books of the Old Testament. It’s one of the lesser-known books, one of the so-called Minor Prophets. The Minor Prophets are called that not because they are less important, but because they are much shorter. In fact, the book we’re talking about has only seven chapters. Which book am I referring to? The book of Micah. It’s found in your Bible, toward the end of the Old Testament. But what does the book of Micah have to do with you and me today? Is there something we can learn from it? Could this small, obscure book hold some unexpected treasures we can dig up, to help us as the end of the age draws near? Let’s answer these questions today on Tomorrow’s World. -
Humanity’s Last Hope 04.06.2025 27minGerald Weston - TVCA1402 - Tens of millions of people vote each year with the hope of setting a course for a better future. Countries led by kings, dictators and elected officials alike have all failed to produce the sustainable utopia that many envision. If mankind is to experience a better future, how will it be brought about? What is humanity’s best hope? -
Why Marriage? Why Family? 17.07.2026 28minI’ll begin today’s program with two simple questions: “Why marriage?” and “Why family?” These are questions few consider, but they are among the most important of all questions as the answers have everything to do with the very purpose of your life. Let’s be clear, marriages and families are in disarray everywhere. The family institution, though healthier at some times than others and in some countries than others, has never been understood as it is seen by almost everyone as an institution created by man. But is it? Or is there more to marriage and family? In the wedding ceremony used by the Living Church of God, the sponsor of this Tomorrow’s World program, we state the following: Marriage is not only a natural union, but also a divine institution, ordained of God. It was established not by man, but by the Eternal God at creation, and derives its authority not from civil codes of man, but from the divine laws of God, immutable and unchangeable from creation. Is that true? Is marriage a divine institution? And if so, what is God’s purpose for marriage and family? These are the questions I’ll be answering on today’s program. -
Religion in Decline 20.03.2024 26minPresenter: Michael Heykoop - TVCA1252 What are the religious beliefs of Canadians and how are they changing from previous generations? The decline of religion is a favourite topic of many. Some see it as a sign of turbulent times and mourn the loss; while others view it as a monumental step forward, a necessary separation from an unpleasant past. What does it really mean for our nation. -
No Flesh Would Be Saved… 17.07.2026 28minAlmost 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ gave a dire warning: Mankind would eventually bring all life on earth to the point of extinction, and that only His return would prevent that catastrophe. The fulfillment of this prophecy seemed impossible until the end of World War II, when the first weapons of mass destruction were deployed against Japan. Yet in the decades that have followed, the ways in which humanity could commit planet-wide suicide have only increased, as the future Jesus prophesied has only become more realistic, not less. Join me for this episode of Tomorrow’s World, where we will take heed to Jesus’ warning that “No Flesh Would be Saved.” -
Who Was Jesus Before His Human Birth? 12.02.2026 26minStuart Wachowicz - TVCA1412 - It is not uncommon to find professing Christians expressing the notion that the God of the Old Testament was harsh and does not reflect the love and kindness that Jesus taught. They also feel that there is somehow a difference between what God sought from mankind in the Old Testament as compared to the New. Many believe Jesus came to change the expectation that we would keep His Father’s law, and was therefore a kinder, gentler God. But does this perspective match with scripture? Understanding who Christ was before His human birth provides ground-breaking insight into these important questions. -
The Black and Pale Horses of Revelation 07.05.2025 28minThe Book of Revelation is a great mystery to many -- a book to be avoided. However, it tells us at the very beginning, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near” (Revelation 1:3). So, if the one who reads, hears, and keeps those things written in the book is blessed or benefited, why would anyone neglect it? In two previous Tomorrow’s World programs, we discussed the first and second of what are known as the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Evangelist and telecast presenter Wallace Smith explained the meaning of the rider on a white horse and fellow evangelist Rod McNair explained the meaning of the rider on a red horse. If you missed those powerful and insightful programs, you can find them on our website, TomorrowsWorld.org. Today I’m going to explain the meaning of the riders on the black and pale horses, but I’ll also show how all four horses fit into the timeline of end-time prophecy. In addition, I’ll be offering you a free resource that gives greater significance to the black and pale horses. -
Why the Bible Remains Relevant Today 22.05.2025 27minGerald Weston - TVCA1401 The Bible is the most widely printed, most widely distributed, and most widely read book on earth. However, today, many people reject the Bible, thinking that it is outdated and no longer relevant in the 21st Century. How can a book written thousands of years ago still teach us about our world today? -
The Red Horse of Revelation 25.04.2025 28minHas World War III begun? Are the wars going on right now going to grow into a massive global conflict? Has that process started already? That was the concern expressed by Jamie Dimon [“DIE - Mon”], Chief Executive of J.P. Morgan Chase and Company, one of the biggest banks in the world. He was speaking at the annual meeting of the Institute of International Finance, on October 24, 2024, in Washington, D.C. He said, “The risk is extraordinary… World War III has already begun.” (“Jamie Dimon worries ‘World War III has already begun,’” MarketWatch.com, October 24, 2024). Has world war begun? Or, to put it in prophetic terms, is the red horse of Revelation already running? The red horse of Revelation is the second horse ridden by the infamous “four horsemen of the apocalypse.” The red horse of Revelation 6 symbolically pictures the terrifying warfare the Book of Revelation portends in the end-time. The question is, is that horse already running? Have we turned a page in history, where there’s no turning back? And most importantly, what can you or I do about it? Nothing could be more urgent than considering whether we and our children can even survive our own world, as it grows more bloody and violent. We’ll examine that today on Tomorrow’s World. But before we do, be sure to get a pen and paper so you can write down the information for ordering the free study guide we’re offering today: The Beast of Revelation: Myth, Metaphor, or Soon-coming Reality? So, join me today on Tomorrow’s World, as we examine the Red Horse of Revelation.
