  • 60m Kids Get Trump Accounts, Another Bad Week for Senate, Adopted MO Man Learns Dad is Famous, Chiefs Sweep Awards, Calipari Complains, CFB Ratings Tumble, KC Restaurant Scare 02.10.2026 52min
Parents of 60 million kids in America have failed to open Trump accounts for them so Scott Bessent just did it for them.  They are active.  All the parents have to do is log on and accept the account and their kids get money invested for the future.  This is SO good if we can teach people to save instead of borrow.    It's been a bad week for the Senate as the dems vote to keep insider trading alive for all of them and vote against a Ratepayer Protection Act to keep data centers in check.  Why are the dems in DC?  Just keep them at home because they will always vote NO on anything Trump and Republicans offer up.  Incredible.    An adopted 58 year old man in Missouri has an incredible story as he's learned the identity of his very famous birth dad.  Oh, what a fool believes.  You have to hear who it is.    A pair of Chiefs sweep the AFC Offensive Player and Rookie of the Month awards as KC gets ready to play the Raiders.  With a win, Andy Reid will take over first place for most wins of ANY coach in  Allegiant Stadium history.    College hoops coach John Calipari is upset that his players make more than his coaches, college football ratings are in a double digit dive and our Final Final is a freakout at a popular KC BBQ spot that some diners thought was in trouble when somebody walked in.
  • Air Force (Ret.) Colonel Cluck Explains Terrorist Flight Miracle, Odds of Landing "Less than 10%", Lezak Makes Winter Call, Mickelson Enters Rehab 01.10.2026 46min
We are so honored to have Air Force retired Colonel John Cluck joining us for this episode to describe for us what a miracle it was a Fly Dubai airliner filled with about 175 Israeli's landed safely in Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia.  Not only does John fly the exact same type of plane for Southwest Airlines, he was based in Tabuk during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  You won't find anyone, anywhere to walk us through exactly what this was like.  Incredible.    Could I have landed that plane?  Could you?  Could we have kicked the door open or subdued the terrorist?  I'll ask it all in a complete analysis of how the heroes made this happen.    Then, our friend Gary Lezak has started a new weather business for KC area folks called www.lezakweather.com and it's really cool.  But I'll play a short clip of him telling us about how this winter make go, what the weather looks like for football in Lawrence and Columbia Saturday and get a Chiefs prediction.
  • GDP Soars, Incomes All Time High, Poverty Lowest Ever, Shocking Drop in Young Gays, Chiefs Tackle Seems Lost, Royals Stay Course, Padres Fan Needs Date 30.09.2026 50min
It's a big, giant positive news boost for your brain at KKHI as we discuss "The Greatest Story Never Told."   Finance guy Larry Kudlow has coined the phrase, Scott Bessent has doubled down and the whole Trump world administration is trying to figure out why nobody is talking about record GDP, record real income and record low poverty.  This is quite a ledger for you today.    There's also been a crazy dramatic drop in young people, especially teenage girls, that say they are gay.  It's happened in just a couple years and if you believe you're born gay... we have quite a freakish genetic story taking place in America.    Chiefs tackle Josh Simmons seems AWOL to me again this year and I'm just not buying the injury narrative.  He ditched the team last year and it's looking like he's not interested in playing this year.    The Royals move their hitting coach out but join a very rare club of clubs that have stunk and kept their manager and general manager.  The Padres are in the playoffs and one eligible bachelor has really a really nice seat for the right woman.  KU is likely getting another player back from last year's team    And our Final Final is a BBQ joint in Florida that has servers wearing the greatest T-shirts ever.
  • Football Feast: Chiefs Start Like a Dream, Raiders Waiting to Take Their Shot, NFL's PI Problems, MU and KU to Regroup 29.09.2026 47min
Stan Weber joins us after a mixed bag weekend of football depending on your team.  But almost everyone listening today is a Chiefs fan so that's where we start.  The Chiefs have some holes on defense and Stan has some ideas.  Are the Raiders for real?  All we know is they are dying to beat KC and take over first place.     The undefeated teams can't be any better than what they are but to this point, nobody looks like a beast.  The NFL had pass interference problems this week and Stan has at least one solution to fix part of it.    Mizzou and KSU fumble their chances at 4-0 starts as it's about to get a lot tougher.  And we have a good old fashioned disagreement on strategy.  Belly up... it's the Football Feast.
  • Chiefs Swim Past Dolphins, Defense Needs Pass Rush, Showdown w/3-0 Raiders Next, Mizzou and KSU Blow Chances, Trump Blows Off Iran, Obama Aide Big Gaffe 28.09.2026 46min
It wasn't the perfect game but you never shrug your shoulders when you win by 14 points on the road in the NFL.  Patrick Mahomes was very efficient and this team needs it as they continue to look for a reliable pass rush from a young defense.  The results are there... the Chiefs are 3-0 and if you can believe it, KC is now looking at a big game against the 3-0 Raiders.      Mizzou and KSU hit the road Saturday and had plenty of chances to win and both came up short.  Very disappointing for both fan bases.    The Royals season is over and they'll spend the next six months trying to build a bullpen.  Kyle Larson wins at Kansas Speedway.  President Trump gets our lame USA golf team over the finish line in the President's Cup where the boys were heavily favored.    Trump no longer wants to hear from Iran about a deal, he seems bent on choking them out at this point.  Obama and his people continue to say the dumbest things, clearly forgetting what they did when they were in charge.  A Trump hating brewery is going out of business and in our Final Final, somebody spiked the punch bowl with Viagra.
  • Mizzou Campus Incident Investigated, Another Death from Trump Shooting, XI Dinner Classy, Chiefs Real Estate Boom, Sophie So Fun, Salvy's New Milestone, Paramount Picks 25.09.2026 49min
After an ugly, really ugly incident took place at the Turning Point USA event on the Mizzou campus this week we learn that the scary as hell, threatening trans person that showed up covered in fake Charlie Kirk blood is not a student.  This looked like it was about to be a mass shooting and Mizzou is all over it as they've turned Chloe Carter's information over to the FBI.  Way to go Mizzou!    A man that was shot twice in Butler, Pennsylvania two years ago as an assassin tried to kill Trump, has now died.  This is a really sad story about a good man and a horrible two years battling his injuries.    President XI of China was the guest of honor at the White House Thursday and got a comedic tour, an impressive tour of Marine One and a great seat at the head table with Trump, Elon, the head of Nvidia and Apple.  What a power move.    There's a real estate boom already in KCK as the Chiefs are building a $3 billion stadium.  And of course, media on the left are complaining.    Sophie Cunningham is so much more than a basketball player and we have a great audio clip to prove it.  Salvy hits his 20th home run this year... and he's in rare company as he's done that 10 times now.  Amazing.  Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com has your weekly picks after an insanely great pick for our Patrons Thursday.  If you want those free picks every Thursday click on "Become a Patron" at www.kkhasissues.com.      And our Final Final is a roller coaster you probably don't want to ride.
  • Obama Coming to KC, Dems Don't Want His Help, Milei Trashes UN, MU Campus Incident Sick, Chiefs Ratings Rock, Trump to CFB Game, KU Hoops Star Eligible, NASCAR Weekend in KS 24.09.2026 52min
President Obama is coming to KC to speak for a few minutes and pick up a massive check from a multi-billion dollar KC investment firm.  But he won't be campaigning for Kansas and Missouri Democrats.  Those folks, like Pastor Adam Hamilton, are making it clear they don't want an endorsement from him or Kamala or Biden or any of the real dems.   What a fraud.  If these people win, they will just fall in line and become lackies for them.    Argentina president Javier Milei spoke in front of the United Nations and just unloaded on them for being globalist frauds.  He's such an unfiltered truth teller.    A Turning Point USA event on campus at Mizzou turns ugly and sad when a really, really sick student stepped up to the microphone in a Charlie Kirk style shirt with blood all over his neck and white tee shirt.  What is wrong with these people?    The Chiefs set an 11 year high for Sunday Night Football ratings with their overtime win and we'll update their injuries for you.  Trump posts he's heading to the Texas-Tennessee game Saturday with Peyton Manning and maybe College Gameday.   KU basketball could be getting a star player back.  The USA President's Cup golf team featured one player in a photo with all 14 wives and girlfriends at the pre-tourney dinner.  It's NASCAR playoff run weekend at Kansas Speedway and a diner in Pleasant Hill is about to get really, really famous.
  • Trump Renames AI, It Won't Kill You Either, KC Mom Gets Away w/Murder, Toys R Us Coming to KC, Chiefs Special Teams Stink, Denny Mathews Milestone, 50 Topping Pizza 23.09.2026 50min
President Trump has been busier in New York than any time as president, we can't keep track of the number of things he's working on.  GOP candidates are mad he's meeting and appearing with Mamdani this close to the election but happy with his speech at the UN.  In his speech, he has renamed AI and re-iterated its not going to kill us.  I'll share a list with you of things I remember in my life that were going to kill me.     A Kansas City mom has first degree murder charges dropped and pleads guilty to child endangerment after she put her 8 week old baby in an oven in 2024.  What is wrong with us?    Toys R Us is opening 160 stores nationwide for the holiday season and I love it.  I'll tell you why.... and where four locations will be in Kansas City.    The Chiefs special teams are awful and we aren't hopeful they will get much better.  Royals announcer and baseball Hall of Famer Denny Mathews is hitting a remarkable milestone on Friday when he calls the Royals/Guardians game.    A KU freshman from KC is the national volleyball player of the week.  The Seahawks head coach has an ongoing feud with the Broncos coach and there is a 50 topping pizza available for the first time ever.   It's make right here in our back yard.
  • MO Maps Anyone's Guess, WH Press Needs Rotation, Paramount Wins Again, Area HS Golfer Wins at Pebble, Chiefs Review was Mistake, QB's Falling Everywhere, Pastor Plays Football 22.09.2026 53min
An appeals court ruling Monday leads us to believe the new maps in Missouri will be used for the Congressional vote in November... but... Not so fast.  This feels like it will never end.    The White House is currently excluding 3 super liberal media outlets from covering the news and I'm ok with it as long as they change it from a ban to just a "rotation" and allow them only in a few days a month.  The slow days.    Skydance is the parent company of Paramount/Warner Bros/Discovery Networks after a $110 merger.  12 states filed suit to stop it from happening but a deal has been reached for Paramount to stay in California and liberals in Hollywood are freaking out at how bad Gavin Newsom and his AG got worked over.  This is hilarious.    An area high school golfer wins at Pebble Beach in a PGA Tour Champions event and I know the young man and have been friends with his dad for 25 years.  This is a feel good story.    Pretty much every honest columnist or pundit in America agrees, the NFL blew the video replay in the Chiefs game Sunday night completely ignoring the "clear and obvious" clause while taking about an hour to make a decision.  They are actually working against  the Chiefs these days.    Another quarterback is hurt Monday night as signal callers are dropping everywhere.  A pastor returns to the football field... at age 48.  And a Long Island woman celebrating her birthday had an accident, got stuck and thought it was turning into her "death day."  But it worked out ok.
  • Chiefs are SO Back, Mahomes Magic Remarkable, Colts Decision Puzzling, NFL Loses Two QB's, CFB Weekend, Trump Deal w/Greenland, Ed Sheeran Plays On 21.09.2026 50min
It's a big step from week one to week two in any football season and not a single player showed more progress than Patrick Mahomes Sunday night at Arrowhead.  There's a chance... yes...  a chance, that this unicorn is better after an brutal injury and terrible season than he has been in years.  What a show at Arrowhead and what a wildly stupid decision by the Colts to kick a field goal on 4th down in overtime.  Oh, and we'll talk about the video review overturn that took the win away from the Chiefs and made them win it all over again.    The Raiders are 2-0, the Chargers are 0-2 and the league lost a couple big time QBs in the NFC on a crazy day in the NFL.    KU had plenty of chances in London to beat Arizona State but falls short.  Avery Johnson shines in Manhattan.  And Mizzou didn't make it look easy but is not apologizing for being 3-0.    Trump announces a deal with Greenland, Ed Sheeran returns to the stage and Pat McAfee may be getting high while doing his podcast.
  • Another Fake Dem is Caught, Gas Prices Soar, Hawley is Out, Hudler Helps Vets, Lee Sterling Football Picks 18.09.2026 53min
What is it with all these fake dems running for Senate in Republican states?  Guys like Talarico and Al-Sayed and.... Pastor Adam Hamilton.  They are being so "outed" as liars and frauds it's embarrassing even by political standards.  The latest is a liberal candidate in Nebraska running as an "independent" caught on tape making fun of the people in a small town.... in his own state!  This dude may be the biggest fraud of all.    Trump keeps telling us gas prices are "a small price to pay" for the war in Iran.  For him, yes.  For all the rest of us, no.  It's one of the very few tone deaf things he's said as president.    Josh Hawley is not running for president if you were curious.    On Thursday, team KKHI took a beating at the hands of team Mundo at Uncle Hud's charity whiffle ball tourney to benefit www.thebattlewithin.org. It's ok... it's all about charity.  Rex Hudler took a few minutes to chat with me about why this is a passion of his and his thoughts on what the Royals could be next year.    Then, Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com has your pigskin picks in front of Sunday night's game  KU in London and the Cats and Tigers at home.   Our Final Final is tourists finding some long lost treasure.
  • Conservative Radio Event Opens Eyes, Kelce Hooked Into Ponzi Scheme, Broncos' Dirty Tricks, Colts Up Next, CFB Previews 17.09.2026 58min
At our America 250 event Wednesday evening with www.kcmotalkradio.com, my eyes were opened a little bit by a couple things that stood out as our panel on stage discussed the state of American politics.   It featured Guy Benson of Fox News, syndicated radio hosts Vince Coglianese and McGraw Milhaven, Pete Mundo and Miranda Kahn of KCMO and your humble host.  A couple things really stood out.    Travis Kelce was ripped off in a Ponzi scheme and the dude that committed the crime is going to prison for 11 years.  But that's only half the story.  Why in the world is the Republican swamp involved in this thing?    Before the game Monday night, the Broncos tried some dirty tricks to get under the Chiefs' skin.   Stan Weber joins us to talk about the matchup with the Colts Sunday night and we preview the KU, KSU and MU games Saturday.
  • Dem Driven Election Chaos, Ed Sheeran Tour on Ropes, Kennedy Center Shutters, KC Star Layoffs, Chiefs 2 QB Sets, Manning Fake Controversy, Disgusting Diarrhea Athlete 16.09.2026 52min
The democrats are turning up the heat on election season chaos because it's the best card they have to play.  "AI will kill us all," the shout over and over.  Now they got another gift as everyone is quitting Ed Sheeran's massive musical stadium tour after one of the singers began preaching for Palestine on stage.  This is growing, the tour is almost certainly going to be cancelled and Taylor Swift could now get dragged in.    A judge says the Kennedy Center can't have Trump's name of likeness or a plaque in the lobby unless Congress approves it.  So Trump called the Board of Directors and had them close the Kennedy Center until further notice.  wow.     The KC Star has had more layoffs and we don't cheer that in any way.  But there are more media jobs in America today than any time in history so it's hard to not believe this is mostly their own fault.   The Chiefs are a dream come true for me if they continue to run plays with two quarterbacks on the field.  Texas QB Arch Manning is all caught up in a fake controversy and a new style sports competition has a disgusting winner that endured explosive diarrhea while competing.  You have to hear this.
  • It's Good to be Wrong, Chiefs Trample Denver, New Schemes Shine, Bills Anthem Controversy, Hickman School Sale Shocker, Royals Announce Construction Plans 15.09.2026 50min
I've begged and pleaded all off season... please let me be wrong.  Andy says, "I got you."    For the first time in three years, the Chiefs brought something new to their season opener.  Something really, really new and it was spectacular.   How great was Kenneth Walker racking up 191 total yards?  So great that in the storied history of the franchise the Chiefs have never had a game where their quarterback started a game 2 for 12 passing and the Chiefs won.  In fact, in this one, they never trailed.  Good golly was this a thing of beauty.    The one area your humble host was right was the Chiefs clearly built this off season for Justin Fields to start the opener but you're always going with Mahomes even if he was rusty, and admittedly, has a lot of work to do this year to get into form.    It wasn't just the offense as the defense has a whole new look and shine.   The Buffalo Bills are under fire for announcing they are perrorming the Canadian national anthem this Thursday night.  Robert Kraft makes a great decision about a concert at Gillette Stadium.    The Royals announce construction plans for their new ballpark.  Hickman Mills Schools sells a grade school on the cheap and some folks aren't happy.  And our Final Final is legendary radio announcer, Hall of Famer Dale Carter, running for office in Jackson County and happy to not be the Chiefs PA announcer anymore.
  • Border War Statement as Eli Let's it Fly, KSU Drubs Wazzou, Mahomes Ready for Spotlight, Rocker's Pro Canada Song 14.09.2026 46min
The Border War stayed closer than it should have been most of the night as Mizzou downs KU.  Not a whole lot to break down on the field but all the stuff off the field is what everyone is talking about.  Especially Eli Drinkwitz who just let it fly.    In Manhattan, the Cats may not be the most talented team but they sure play clean games.  After two games, the KSU defense hasn't allowed a touchdown and except for a couple QB brain farts here and there, they've been nearly flawless.    Then the bright lights of Monday Night Football are ready to shine on Patrick Mahomes and the league's marquee franchise.  Stan breaks down the matchup for us... spoiler alert... neither of us is all that optimistic for a win.
  • Football Feast w/Stan: Border War Preview, Cats and Cougs, Top 5 Showdown, Lee Sterling Picks, Song of Week 10.09.2026 56min
The Border War is back in Lawrence for the first time in 21 years and the pressure is all on Mizzou.  Stan Weber is here with the matchups that matter for KU and MU.  We talk week one clues and new coaching trends throughout CFB.  KSU host Washington State and Texas and Ohio State have a top 5 showdown.    Then, Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com has your point spread picks and two plays this weekend for $1.    Finally, our song of the week is about the government and you're going to like most of it.
  • KKHI Special: Carrington Harrison Discusses MU/KU Documentary & Sports Radio in KC 10.09.2026 53min
It seems crazy but true, Carrington Harrison is officially the longest pursued interview guest of my career.  FIVE YEARS!    Nobody's to blame here, really, it's just been business.  We've always worked with competing companies and, for a couple years, this podcast was a no go zone for a lot of bosses in KC media.    Carrington is not only the best sports talk host in KC, he's a documentary film maker.  He's kind of making the rest of us look lazy and shallow.  Over the past couple years hosting "The Drive" every afternoon on 96.5 The Fan, he was also working on Armageddon at Arrowhead about the epic 2007 MU-KU game in 2007.  The doc is out just in time before Friday's Border War in Lawrence and will hit a streaming service soon.    We chat about our industry, how long it took to make his second film and of course preview Friday's game and the upcoming Chiefs season.  It's been worth the wait.  He's talented, likable, tough and fair.  Enjoy!
  • Sling Hygrometers, Haboobs and a Song: Jessica Joins the Pod for Great Time w/Gary Lezak 09.09.2026 50min
This is so much fun as Jessica finally grabs a microphone and joins in at KKHI.  It took having Gary Lezak from www.weather2020.com to come on as a guest in order for Jess to jump in but she's got a whole bunch of questions for KC's most famous meteorologist.   We'll talk about haboobs and slings and, well, a few football forecasts.    We also learn that Gary keeps his own Top 40 list of songs every month and stays on current music.  So we introduce him to the song "Gary" by Stepen Wilson Jr.   You're going to enjoy this one.
  • College Football's Long Weekend Kickoff, Farm School Teaches All of Us 08.09.2026 51min
We got our first look at the Tigers, Jayhawks and Wildcats in week one of the college football season and there's reason to believe good things are ahead.  We tackle the highs and very few lows as Mizzou gets ready to head to Lawrence to play KU on national tv Friday night.    In Manhattan, first game head coach Collin Klein almost set a record by hanging 71 points on the board and almost giving the mascot a heart attack.  Michigan is the luckiest team in history and another Big Ten team lost as a 30 point home fave.   Then, we meet Amanda Meyers of www.farmschoolusa.com and we learn a thing or two about teaching our kids in new ways.  Parents everywhere are looking for alternatives to government schools and this gem in Raymore has a waiting list you won't believe.
  • CFB Off and Running, Turmoil Rules, Lee Sterling Point Spread Picks 04.09.2026 37min
Mizzou notched easy at the Zou while a 30 point favorite Rutgers loses at home.  Between gambling scandals, eligibility chaos and lawsuits galore, this season could we a wild one for the ages.    Also, Lee Sterling is here from www.paramountsports.com with his picks for the weekend and three free plays for everyone that signs up for his free emails and newsletters.
