Vitamins You Should NEVER Use 03.10.2026 17minFind out about the harmful vitamins and supplements lurking in your medicine cabinet. These dangerous vitamins are not beneficial to your health, and often have the opposite effect. Do not take these vitamins! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: The 10 vitamins you should never take 0:40 Synthetic vitamin A 2:00 Synthetic beta carotene 3:08 Folic acid 4:25 Synthetic B12 5:51 Calcium carbonate 7:14 Iron 8:36 Magnesium oxide 9:33 Synthetic vitamin D (D2) 10:42 Omega-6 fat (Linoleic acid) 11:36 Copper Synthetic vitamins are often cheap and create a huge profit margin for the manufacturer. Most big vitamin companies are owned by Big Pharma and big chemical companies. Never take synthetic vitamin A! It can build up in the liver and fat cells and even cause a birth defect if it occurs during pregnancy. Synthetic vitamin A can also interfere with vitamin D and K2, increasing the risk of fractures. Beta carotene is not the same as vitamin A's active form. Synthetic beta carotene, made from coal tar and petroleum, can increase the risk of certain cancers. Folic acid is different from folate, the natural form of vitamin B9. Around 30% to 40% of the world's population has an alteration of the MTHFR gene, which interferes with their ability to turn folic acid into folate, causing it to build up in the blood. This can lead to an increased risk of cancer and a suppressed immune system. Synthetic B12, or cyanocobalamine, requires glutathione to convert to the active form methylcobalamine. Consuming large amounts of synthetic B12 depletes you of this vital antioxidant. Calcium carbonate is the main ingredient in many popular multivitamins. It can build up in the arteries and kidneys and increase your risk of a heart attack. Too much iron can increase your risk of type 2 diabetes, liver issues, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s. Many iron supplements contain ferrous sulfate, a damaging, poor-quality source of iron. Magnesium oxide is a cheap, poorly-absorbed form of magnesium that frequently causes diarrhea. Choose magnesium glycinate for significantly better absorption, better sleep, lower cortisol, and more overall benefits. Synthetic vitamin D is called ergocalciferol and is made by exposing fungus or yeast to UV radiation. Vitamin D2 is not nearly as beneficial as vitamin D3, yet it’s the most prescribed. Don’t consume supplements with added omega-6 fat, often in the form of linoleic acid. Too much omega-6 fat increases inflammation. We need copper, but high amounts of cheap copper can be toxic. Ensure you consume copper with other trace minerals in the proper ratios, especially zinc! How to Lose Weight WITHOUT a Diet 03.10.2026 9minCan you lose weight without dieting? In this video, I’ll share some weight loss tips that actually work and uncover the truth about weight loss without dietary changes. If you eat junk food, you’ll have to burn even more calories to burn extra fat. Weight loss is 15% exercise and 85% diet! You have to change your diet if you want to lose weight. There’s no way around it! Exercise improves fitness, muscle tone, and health, but it is not the key to weight loss and certainly won’t help you lose weight fast. If you want to lose fat and not just water weight, you have to keep insulin low. Decreasing insulin will also decrease your appetite and cravings. To reduce insulin, you must go on a low-carb diet! The carnivore diet involves eliminating all carbohydrates and eating meat, eggs, fish, and cheese. This simple diet can help you lose weight fast! Intermittent fasting is the key to fat loss. It can also help with other health problems, such as inflammation, high blood pressure, diabetes, and depression. Remember, carbs block fat burning. You can lose weight without changing your diet, but it won't be much! Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. #1 Best Meal to Stop a Heart Attack and Stroke 03.10.2026 15minThe best meal to prevent a heart attack or stroke will also help clean your arteries! Support cardiovascular health naturally by consuming the top foods for stroke and heart attack prevention that also help prevent blocked arteries. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: How to clean arteries naturally 1:12 Clot formation and blocked arteries 4:10 Excess iron 5:57 Leaky gums, leaky gut, and cardiovascular disease 6:42 Foods that unclog arteries and prevent heart attack 10:56 More tips to prevent a heart attack or stroke Did you know that clots cause 80%-90% of heart attacks and 87%-91% of strokes? This is why the top foods for stroke and heart attack prevention also help clean your arteries. Typically, when a clot forms, it dissolves within minutes or hours. This is a normal survival mechanism and does not cause heart attacks or strokes. When the normal clotting process becomes dysfunctional, you can develop blocked arteries. Dysfunctional clotting typically starts from a leak in your gums or gut when endotoxins enter the body. Excess iron can contribute to the problem. Pathogens need iron to survive. Excessive free iron can feed and amplify endotoxins, thereby awakening dormant pathogenic microbes. Excess iron typically comes from fortified foods, such as bread, pasta, cereal, and ultra-processed carbs. If you need iron, it's best to get it from red meat rather than a supplement. Stress increases adrenaline, which can amplify the effects of pathogens and cause them to consume more iron. The following factors can cause issues in the gut, which can in turn affect the clotting process and contribute to blocked arteries: •Gluten •Alcohol •Smoking •Seed oils •Ultra-processed foods •NSAIDs •Antibiotics To prevent a heart attack naturally, try the following meal. It’s composed of the best foods for clogged arteries! •Wild-caught salmon or fatty fish •Salad: Arugula, beets, extra virgin olive oil, apple cider vinegar •Garlic •Sauerkraut •Green or black tea •Dark chocolate After the meal, go for a 10-20 minute post-meal walk, focusing on nasal breathing. The Most Risky "Therapy" in the World Still Applied in America 03.10.2026 9minStop this barbaric treatment! Sign the petition here: https://stopect.com/email-congress Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) This barbaric medical treatment is still being used to treat depression and mental illness in the US. Find out about the dangerous side effects of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), one of the most controversial mental health treatments that exists. You won’t believe they’re still doing this! 0:00 Introduction: ECT for depression 0:41 Electroshock treatment background 2:11 Is ECT dangerous? 2:23 What is electroconvulsive therapy? 4:22 More side effects of electroconvulsive therapy 4:38 Trauma from electroshock therapy This barbaric mental health therapy costs around $2000 to $2500 per treatment, and is covered by Medicaid, Medicare, and the VA system. It’s a multibillion-dollar market! The average treatment plan includes 12 sessions in the first month, followed by maintenance sessions every 3 weeks. This treatment has never been scientifically proven to work! There have been no official trials, and it has even been performed on children and pregnant women. The UN calls this treatment a human rights abuse and compares this forced treatment on minors to torture. In China, it’s actually used as a form of torture. In addition, this treatment has never been FDA-approved and was merely grandfathered in. In 2018, the FDA downgraded it from a high-risk classification to a moderate-risk classification. This dangerous treatment causes structural brain damage, creates swelling and inflammation in the brain, and even kills brain cells. Electroconvulsive therapy involves putting 150 volts through a person's brain to induce a grand mal seizure. ECT treatment comes with many side effects, has 60 documented adverse events, and can cause permanent brain damage, memory loss, and heart attacks. This treatment uses enough energy to stop the heart, and there is nothing stopping the voltage from traveling to the rest of the body. This can lead to cardiac arrest! People who use this treatment are also at an increased risk of suicide. I’ve seen firsthand in practice that people who’ve had this treatment lose their personality, humor, creativity, and more. ECT treatment can lead to death, destruction of cells and mitochondria, and shrinking of the hippocampus. Neurologist Dr. John Feinberg noted in 1977 that ECT caused structural brain damage, indistinguishable from head trauma. If you have depression, diet and lifestyle changes may help. Increasing vitamin D levels, B-vitamin levels, and omega-3 levels, along with a low-carb diet and intermittent fasting, can significantly improve your symptoms. Avoid Failing This Brain Test (For Early Dementia) 03.10.2026 8minGrab a pen and paper and try this 30-second early dementia test! This simple cognitive assessment for dementia can identify cognitive deficits long before the onset of dementia. Don’t wait for early dementia signs to take action! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Quick dementia brain test 0:24 The clock drawing test for dementia 1:17 Evaluating clock drawing test results 1:57 What causes dementia? 2:39 Preventing cognitive decline and reversing dementia 4:40 Reversing early dementia signs with ketones Memory loss is not the only early sign of dementia! Other common cognitive decline symptoms involve the speed at which you process information and your attention and focus. To perform the clock drawing test for dementia, set a timer for 30 seconds and draw a clock with the time set at 10 minutes after 11. To evaluate your results for any dementia risk factors, examine the following: •Were any numbers jumbled or missing? •Did you write all 12 numbers? •Were the numbers spaced correctly? •Were the hands of the clock facing the right direction? •Did you reverse the hour and the minute hands? •Were you unable to complete this in 30 seconds? The clock drawing test is one of the most sensitive indicators of early cognitive deficits and is considered more accurate than memory tests. If you didn’t pass this test or you made a mistake, don’t worry! You can do many things to support brain health and prevent or reverse dementia. Sugar shrinks your brain, especially the hippocampus, which controls memory. Chronic stress and poor sleep can also contribute to the problem. If you notice any signs of early dementia, increasing BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) is vital. BDNF helps grow brain tissue and prevents cognitive problems, as well as other issues like depression. Here are the best ways to increase BDNF: •Intermittent fasting •Cold therapy •Deep sleep •Learning difficult tasks or skills •High-intensity interval training Ketones can also help reverse dementia and protect your brain against cognitive decline. A low-carb diet can increase ketones and has even been shown to reverse diabetes in 10 weeks! MCT oil, coconut oil, and ketone supplements can also provide the brain with ketones. To remain in ketosis, only consume a moderate amount of protein! Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Junk food addiction isn’t an accident. It’s part of the design. Food manufacturers use food engineering, artificial flavors, and even texture and sound to make processed foods more appealing. Finely ground “microsalt” and carefully blended natural and artificial flavors are designed to deliver intense flavor and keep you coming back for more. Many ultra-processed foods are engineered to be highly palatable without providing lasting satisfaction, making it easy to keep eating without feeling truly satiated. Manufacturers even research the “bliss point” to optimize taste and encourage repeat consumption.Because these foods are designed to be difficult to resist, portion control can be a challenge. One of the simplest strategies is to avoid buying junk food in the first place and avoid grocery shopping when you’re hungry or tired.DATA: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2161831323013820 https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6550161/ Dr. Eric Berg, DC, Bio:Dr. Berg, DC, age 61, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis and Intermittent Fasting. Can BERBERINE Be a “Natural Ozempic” for Weight Loss? 03.10.2026 6minGet access to my FREE resources 👉 https://drbrg.co/444VWnQ Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. Many people have been using berberine for weight loss and are seeing amazing results! Find out why berberine is referred to as “nature’s Ozempic!" 0:00 Introduction: Is berberine a natural Ozempic? 1:13 What is berberine? 1:24 The benefits of berberine 1:35 Berberine vs. Metformin 1:56 How does berberine work for weight loss? 4:00 Berberine dosage and side effects Today, we’re going to talk about berberine. People all over social media are calling berberine a natural Ozempic, but if you do a quick Google search, you may have doubts. There are several claims that berberine can give you diarrhea, gas, constipation, and stomachaches, and can even be fatal in large amounts. There are also claims that berberine can’t work as a substitute for Ozempic because there isn’t enough research. Berberine is a phytochemical found in various plants that has numerous health benefits, especially for blood sugar. It has even been compared to Metformin, a popular drug used to treat type 2 diabetes. The potential health benefits of berberine: • Helps with insulin resistance • Helps lower blood sugar • Helps to activate vitamin D • Supports longevity • Has antiarrhythmic properties • Helps decrease the risk of a fatty liver •Has neuroprotective properties • Helps make chemotherapy/radiation more efficient • Reduces gluconeogenesis Many health problems are related to problems with the mitochondria. Berberine increases the number of mitochondria (mitochondrial biogenesis), helps clean up damaged mitochondria, and makes mitochondria more efficient. Berberine, in small amounts, has very few, if any, side effects! Combined with keto, intermittent fasting, and exercise, you could experience significant results when taking berberine. Research following more than 120,000 people over eight years found that VO2 max was one of the strongest predictors of longevity. VO2 max reflects how efficiently your mitochondria use oxygen to produce energy.Supporting metabolic health is essential for healthy aging. Even when plenty of fuel is available, your cells can’t produce energy efficiently if metabolic health is impaired. While high cholesterol is often viewed as a risk factor, research has linked higher total cholesterol with a lower risk of all-cause mortality. Although genetics influences aging, lifestyle plays a more significant role. Supplements can be beneficial, but it’s best to focus on meaningful changes to support longevity. Regular long walks are a great way to support mitochondrial health and a longer lifespan. Today I want to answer some important questions about probiotics. Probiotics are microbes. Microbes are a crucial part of our world. They convert carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur into forms that living things can use. We have ten times more microbes living on and inside our bodies than we have cells. Microbes have many functions and help us in various ways, including: • Helping to make nutrients available • Providing immune protection • Protecting against pathogens • Supporting detoxification • Improving digestion • Helping to make vitamins Strong hydrochloric acid in the stomach can kill a good portion of microbes. Bile salts also affect the microbiome. But, some microbes are resilient and can even live without oxygen. How to support the survival of probiotics in the stomach: 1. Take a probiotic supplement or consume probiotic foods at the end of your meal 2. Consume probiotics earlier in the day 3. If fasting, drink more water with your probiotics 4. Don’t take probiotics with lemon water or apple cider vinegar water 5. Consume raw plants grown in soil Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting.
