Get Out My Pub! Jolene's Bombshell, Harrison's Dilemma & Carol's Watch Disaster | The Archers 15.09.2026 17λListen and watch on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/all-about-the-archers/id1706526260Philippa and Quentin cover the week in Ambridge — Sunday 13th to Tuesday 15th September — and it has been a week of rank hypocrisy, a destroyed watch and some very Barbara Windsor energy from Jolene.Jolene finds out about Harrison and Lily and delivers one of the most EastEnders moments in recent Archers history. Quentin points out that Jolene is perhaps not best placed to take the moral high ground given her own history. Philippa agrees but also thinks Fallon was quietly adding fuel to the fire throughout. Harrison is getting it from every side and is trying to be honest about everything, which is not going well for him. He has also suggested to Lily that this could be long term — both hosts think he needs to slow down considerably. And Fallon has left a permanent contract for a cut of participants at the Cruck Barn while Harrison still pays most of the bills at the cottage. Quentin thinks the sooner they sell it the better.Leonard and Tony try to do something kind for Carol and it goes spectacularly wrong when the watch they fix turns out to be the one that stopped at the moment Richard died. Quentin finds a surprisingly moving reason to understand Carol's reaction. Philippa suggests just taking the battery out again.Carol is driving most people in the Facebook group mad, though some listeners who have been through similar situations are firmly on her side. One Facebook commenter says Carol makes them miss Bert. Joy turns out to have a City and Guilds in jewellery. The repair grotto — or ghetto, Quentin was not sure — is getting too big for Tony to manage. And Lynda and Robert are going to have to sell Ambridge Hall.Plus Kenton's reaction still to come, Amber must be due soon, and Philippa's predictions involve Joy as a highly qualified hitwoman hired by Jolene to kill Harrison.Star of the Week, Twit of the Week and a reminder that the Charlotte Martin interview part one is out now and the love for it has been wonderful.Topics covered: Jolene Archer | Harrison Burns | Fallon Rogers | Lily Pargetter | Carol | Anna | Leonard | Joy | Mick | Lynda Snell | Robert Snell | The Archers September 2026 Hosted on Acast. We Interview Dr Charlotte Martin — Susan Carter's Journey from Gossip to Village Sage 11.09.2026 31λPhilippa sits down with Dr Charlotte Martin, who plays Susan Carter in The Archers, for the first of two episodes — for a conversation about one of Ambridge's most beloved and most underestimated characters.Charlotte talks about how Susan has changed almost imperceptibly over the decades — from naive young girl to gossip to, increasingly, the person people come to for genuinely good advice. She reflects on the solid foundation of Susan and Neil's marriage, Susan's complicated relationship with social aspiration and what Jennifer Aldridge represented to her, and why the moment Alice and Chris got together felt like Susan finally arriving. They discuss the George storyline in depth — the awful dilemma of reporting your own grandson, the echoes of the Clive situation, and why Charlotte believes George has always had a good core and is now finally finding his way. There is a warm and considered defence of George that may well change how you hear him.Bert gets his own section. Charlotte reveals she was in awe of the actor who plays him because of The Detectorists, explains why Tracy has always borne the brunt of his care and what that says about their different childhoods, and confirms they have had enormous fun recording those scenes including the walker coming up to the microphone.Plus: Keira and the audition that made Charlotte's mind up immediately, what Susan's friendship with Jolene could look like and why it should happen, the case for Susan getting her radio show back with an agony aunt slot, the 75th anniversary tour and what it has been like playing to packed houses of genuine fans, and the biscuit question.Part two, with listener questions from the Facebook group, follows in two weeks.Topics covered: Susan Carter | Neil Carter | George Grundy | Amber | Keira | Bert Horrobin | Tracy | Jennifer Aldridge | Alice Carter | Jolene Archer | 75th anniversary tour | Angela Barnes | The Archers 2026 Hosted on Acast. Harrison and Lily Take It to Another Level, Carol's Baby Bat & the Flower and Produce Show | The Archers Week in Review 08.09.2026 16λPhilippa and Katie cover the week in Ambridge — Sunday 6th to Tuesday 8th September — and Harrison and Lily have moved considerably faster than anyone predicted. From moving trestle tables on Sunday to moving furniture of a different kind entirely by Tuesday, Harrison and Lily have gone for it. Fallon has commented that Lily is such a sweetheart. Harrison has mentioned a walk up Lakey Hill. Jolene has offered bacon sandwiches. Nobody has said anything out loud yet but it is only a matter of time. Both hosts are here for it, worried about how clingy Lily might get, and absolutely certain Fallon is going to find out the worst possible way.The Flower and Produce Show on Sunday was a genuine highlight — eleven characters, four types of cake, Dom from the Repair Shop fixing Tony's model tractor, Keira winning a prize, Usha's extraordinary fruit tableau, and Martyn's speech about excellent garlic that neither host heard enough of. Clarrie is back. Leonard is back. It felt like proper Archers.Carol rings Anna at half past six in the morning about a baby bat. It does not go well. Robert and Lynda are getting cancellations at the B&B and Lynda says she is exhausted. Both hosts think it is time to downsize.Plus: whether Jolene's smoothie could really have won anything, Rex's narrowboat as a potential Harrison and Lily love nest, the Charlotte Martin interview out this weekend, and a reminder that All About The Archers is now available as video on Apple Podcasts.Star of the Week, Twitter of the Week and predictions including Usha becoming a judge on a radish-based television programme.Topics covered: Harrison Burns | Lily Pargetter | Fallon Rogers | Jolene Archer | Carol | Anna | Robert Snell | Lynda Snell | Flower and Produce Show | Tony Archer | Keira | Usha Franks | Dom | The Archers September 2026 Hosted on Acast. Khalil's Photo Controversy, Justin's Crisis & Fallon's Cottage Dilemma | Archers Week in Review 01.09.2026 17λPhilippa, Katie and Quentin cover the week in Ambridge — Sunday 30th August to Tuesday 1st September — and it has been a week of age, ego, moral grey areas and one very good piece of news about Monty.Khalil posted a photo of Justin walking Ruby off the lead on farmland. Justin's main concern is not that he's been caught out but that he looks stooped and is wearing purple. He wants a defamation of character letter from a solicitor. Quentin thinks Khalil has been cruel and self-righteous. Katie thinks he was just showing his age. Philippa thinks good for him, because Ruby off the lead on farmland is exactly the kind of thing the Monty story should have taught everyone. All three disagree and it is brilliant.Justin, meanwhile, is staring down the barrel of turning 80 and is seeking highlights, filler, face treatments and a wrinkle lift. Chelsea handles him with enormous skill and talks him out of the hair dye. Lillian is already exhausted by it.Alan loses his temper when a cricket ball comes through his window mid-Carol-phone-call, and Pat comes for him about it. Quentin is firmly on Alan's side. Philippa is firmly on Pat's. Alan brings up the Rob baptism and the graffiti. Katie thinks that was a step too far. Nobody fully agrees with anyone and it is exactly what the podcast is for.Fallon talks to Jolene about not wanting to be the first to leave the cottage. Harrison talks to Leon about Lily. Both are clearly not moving on as fast as they are claiming. Philippa thinks they need a solicitor and the house on the market immediately. Jolene gets compared to Annie Wilkes from Misery. And the wonderful news: Monty has found a home with a former police officer. Katie is relieved. Philippa was sobbing last week.Plus a theme of age running through the whole week, a new cast interview announced for the Facebook group tomorrow, All About The Archers now available as video on Apple Podcasts, Star of the Week, Twitter of the Week and predictions including Henry getting signed up to bat for England.Topics covered: Khalil | Justin Elliott | Fallon Rogers | Harrison Burns | Alan Franks | Pat Archer | Chelsea | Lynda Snell | Monty | Jolene Archer | Lily Pargetter | The Archers September 2026 Hosted on Acast. Lily's Confession, Conrad's Chat-Up Lines & George Sells a Car | The Archers Week in Review 25.08.2026 15λPhilippa and Quentin cover the week (so far) in Ambridge — Sunday 23rd to Tuesday 25th August — and it has been a week of romantic entanglements, awkward confessions and a rather impressive car sale.Lily confesses the Harrison kiss to Rex, who is about as subtle about it as Lily was, and Fallon is already picking up vibes. Conrad arrives and is immediately flirting with both Fallon and Lily, makes his interest in Fallon very plain, and is either a smooth used car salesman or a decent bloke — the jury is still out. Fallon keeps the shutters firmly down. Harrison and Lily have not contacted each other since the kiss, which nobody believes will last.George, meanwhile, turns out to be a natural car salesman. Martyn Gibson plays it beautifully, listens to what George has to say about the plug-in hybrid with comfort memory seats, and secures the sale. Both hosts are very impressed. Quentin's prediction is already on the table.Lynda handles the appalling Diane magnificently, gives her a dressing gown and calmly shows her the door, then has a moment of uncomfortable self-reflection about whether she used to be the same. Robert and Lynda's finances are taking a real hit. Rex's manly odour after moving gravel all day gets a mention. Brian puts the wrong address on a delivery and Alice sorts it out — and gets a romantic dinner, whereas Adam would have been told off. Alice and Rex's smoochy scenes are becoming a lot. And Oliver Turner's second week writing for the show gets a very warm reception.A big announcement too: All About The Archers is now available as video on Apple Podcasts — thousands of you watched last week without being asked and thank you very much indeed.Plus Star of the Week, Twit of the Week, predictions including George as the next Top Gear presenter, and Quentin is off to Edinburgh to see Ben Norris in his Fringe Award-winning show The Distance.Topics covered: Lily Pargetter | Harrison Burns | Fallon Rogers | Conrad | Rex Fairbrother | George Grundy | Martyn Gibson | Lynda Snell | Robert Snell | Brian Aldridge | Alice Carter | The Archers August 2026 Hosted on Acast. Monty's Fate, Khalil's Secret & Eddie's Corner-Cutting at Meadow Farm | Archers Week in Review 18.08.2026 15λPhilippa and Katie are back together for the week in Ambridge — Sunday 16th to Tuesday 18th August — and there is a lot to process.Monty's story moves to a heartbreaking conclusion as Lynda and Robert say goodbye and sign the documents. Katie cannot cope and Philippa has questions about the rehoming process, the DNA fingerprints, and whether there is more to come from that evidence. Meanwhile Harrison and Fallon's relationship continues to unsettle, a possibly flirty exchange between Harrison and Lily gets noted, and Mick is becoming CSI Ambridge.Khalil is struggling and Keira has been quietly keeping his secret — until Susan unknowingly spills the beans. Now Azra knows, and neither host is convinced she is going to handle it well. There are real concerns about Khalil bottling things up, particularly given his history.Eddie is filling in for George at Meadow Farm and is cutting every corner available to him. George, remarkably, was right. Ruth still has not booked the genetic test and both hosts are furious about it. The Cruck Barn is taking shape with an exciting programme of rural crafts, jewellery making and creative writing — but can Ambridge actually afford it? And nobody has acknowledged the heatwave or drought even once, which is bothering everyone.Plus Lynda's DNA fingerprints, Rosie and Pip moving into the bungalow, who is now paying rent on Rickyard Cottage, and a key that would not work properly.Star of the Week, Twitter of the Week and predictions including Lynda being unmasked as a mafia gang leader.Topics covered: Monty | Lynda Snell | Robert Snell | Khalil | Keira | Azra | Eddie Grundy | George Grundy | Ruth Archer | Harrison Burns | Fallon Rogers | Lily Pargetter | Cruck Barn | Elizabeth Pargetter | Susan Carter | The Archers August 2026 Hosted on Acast. Monty's Arrest, Lynda's Nightmare & a Village Fete to Remember? Archers Week in Review 12.08.2026 17λWe are back from our summer break — Philippa is solo, as Katie and Quentin are watching the eclipse — and it has been quite a week to return to.The village fete on Sunday was a genuine highlight: Chelsea without scissors, Lillian as an unlikely fairy godmother, Fabrice to the rescue, Carol's chaotic scavenger hunt and the great entry fee debacle. Philippa loved it. Then Monday arrived.Monty has been taken into police custody following the attack on David and Ruth's sheep, and Philippa found it genuinely traumatic to listen to. Harrison handling the arrest with calm professionalism while Robert and Lynda fell apart. Lynda trying to gather character references. Robert and the gate he didn't fix in time. The bed and breakfast guests who left a day early and whose children apparently hosed down a bloodied dog without telling anyone. The question of whether admitting liability was the right call without legal advice. And the looming question of whether David and Ruth will ever agree to let Monty live. Also this week: Elizabeth being dismissive of Freddie, Alistair's advice to Harrison, Lillian's solution to everything being brandy, a possible Lily and Amber friendship, and Philippa's theory about why Monty has been behaving so strangely.Plus Star of the Week, Twit of the Week and three predictions including a sheep-shearing barber shop.Back to normal next Tuesday.Topics covered: Monty | Lynda Snell | Robert Snell | Harrison Burns | David Archer | Ruth Archer | Elizabeth Pargetter | Lillian Bellamy | Chelsea | Alan Franks | Carol | Amber | Keira | The Archers August 2026 Hosted on Acast. Nobody in Ambridge Can Communicate & Elizabeth's Mystery Event Space | Archers Week in Review 21.07.2026 15λPhilippa and Katie cover the week in Ambridge so far - Sunday 19th to Tuesday 21st July - and the theme of the week is spectacularly clear: nobody in Ambridge is talking to anybody properly.Rex is moving in with Alice without any discussion about money, children, or who is going to cook. Chris finds out via Fallon rather than Alice. Harrison and Fallon are barely communicating and the awards ceremony could be the moment everything falls apart. Fallon hasn't told Jolene she wants to leave the Bull. And nobody has told Martha she might be going to Gozo.Elizabeth returns and there is apparently an event space being renovated at Lower Loxley — which came as news to us. Alan reappears. Bert has his first shift at the village shop and is surprisingly good value. And people are charging five pounds to get into the Ambridge fete.Plus: thoughts on the Barn event space and what it means for Brookfield, Carol and Alan's very odd moment, whether Bert is the new Jim, and a plea for absolutely nothing to happen during the two week summer break.Back on Wednesday 13th August.Topics covered: Rex Fairbrother | Alice Carter | Chris Carter | Harrison Burns | Fallon Rogers | Elizabeth Pargetter | Bert Horrobin | Susan Carter | Alan Franks | The Archers July 2026 Hosted on Acast. Lucy Speed Answers Your Questions — Stella's Wedding Outfit, the Baby Question & Race Across the World 17.07.2026 12λPhilippa is back with Lucy Speed, who plays Stella Pryor in The Archers, for part two — and this time the Facebook group gets their say.Lucy answers questions on everything from whether Stella would save Rosie or Cleo in a disaster (the answer is very clear), to whether a prenup would make life easier for everyone at Brookfield. She talks about not knowing Stella and Pip would get together when she first joined, what Stella's wedding outfit might look like, and whether the baby question could derail the wedding entirely. Also: Thor the miniature dachshund makes his podcast debut, Lucy reveals she played thirteen different characters in Radio 4's Don Quixote, why she has loved radio since childhood, and who Stella would choose as her Race Across the World partner — with a strong case made for Rex.Part one of this interview is available now if you missed it.Topics covered: Stella Pryor | Pip Archer | Lucy Speed | Thor | Rosie | Cleo | Wedding | Prenup | Race Across the World | Rex | Radio 4 | Don Quixote | The Archers 2026SUPPORT ALL ABOUT THE ARCHERS:You can BUY US A COFFEE here: buymeacoffee.com/allaboutthearchersYou can buy our MERCH here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/aboutthearchers/shopDo join our FACEBOOK Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1127587031446013/ Hosted on Acast. Tom Makes It All About Him, Anne-Marie Strikes & Harrison's Surprise Return | The Archers Week in Review 14.07.2026 16λPhilippa, Katie and Quentin are back — and a very special welcome to Katie, now Mrs Newby, fresh from her wedding. The team also pay tribute to Patricia Greene, who played Jill Archer, a true legend of The Archers who will be greatly missed. This week: Tom finds out about Kirsty's pregnancy and manages to make it entirely about himself — Kirsty gives him both barrels and sends him packing. Anne-Marie turns up at the theatre and immediately accuses Susan of something outrageous. Harrison arrives home early and surprises Fallon, but the communication problems between them remain deeply concerning. Helen fails to get her milking parlour and is sickeningly gracious about it. A £35k payment lands in various bank accounts — and Ian promises he will let it go. Nobody believes him.Plus: Kirsty and Amber's lovely moment over the baby's first kick, what musical George and Amber saw at the theatre, Katie's Gardeners' World discovery, the Archers garden at Badminton Flower Show, and is Bert volunteering at the shop on Clive's instructions?Star of the Week, Twitter of the Week, predictions, and a reminder that the summer break starts after next week — back on Wednesday 12th August.Topics covered: Tom Archer | Kirsty Miller | Anne-Marie | Susan Carter | Harrison Burns | Fallon Rogers | Ian Craig | Adam Macy | Helen Archer | Rex Fairbrother | Bert Horrobin | Borchester Show | Patricia Greene | The Archers July 2026SUPPORT ALL ABOUT THE ARCHERS:You can BUY US A COFFEE here: buymeacoffee.com/allaboutthearchersYou can buy our MERCH here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/aboutthearchers/shopDo join our FACEBOOK Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1127587031446013/ Hosted on Acast. Bert's Back & Nobody's Happy, Ian's Lady Macbeth Moment & the Borchester Show Countdown | Archers Week in Review 07.07.2026 15λIt's just Philippa this week — flying solo while Quentin represents the podcast at Katie and Simon's wedding. Huge congratulations to the happy couple.Bert is back from Clive's and he is worse than ever. Philippa has many thoughts, none of them positive. Meanwhile Ian is doing a full Lady Macbeth behind Adam's back, visiting Alice when he thought Adam would be out, and Philippa is genuinely worried about what he might do next. Adam, remarkably, is the voice of reason this week. Tony digs up something in the garden that turns out not to be the time capsule and not to be worth very much either. Chris has a year to wait for his flat. Brian makes Welsh rarebit. And the Borchester Show is almost here.Plus: why Tracey needs to find her inner strength and let Bert go, the mystery of where Bert's money has gone, whether Fallon might prefer life with Chris to life with Harrison, Keira standing up for herself, and some very strong feelings about butterfly farms in a heatwave.Star of the Week, Twit of the Week, highly accurate predictions, and a special clip from Katie and Quentin at the wedding at the end of the YouTube version.Topics covered: Bert | Tracey Fuller | Susan Carter | Neil Carter | Adam Macy | Ian Thornton | Alice Carter | Brian Aldridge | Tony Archer | Chris Carter | Fallon Rogers | Keira | Borchester Show | The Archers July 2026SUPPORT ALL ABOUT THE ARCHERS:You can BUY US A COFFEE here: buymeacoffee.com/allaboutthearchersYou can buy our MERCH here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/aboutthearchers/shopDo join our FACEBOOK Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1127587031446013/ Hosted on Acast. Lucy Speed on Playing Stella Pryor — "She's Comfortable in Her Own Skin" 03.07.2026 29λPhilippa sits down with Lucy Speed, who plays Stella Pryor in The Archers, for a deep and wide-ranging conversation about one of Ambridge's most compelling more recent additions.Lucy talks about what drew her to Stella from the very beginning — a career-minded, self-assured woman who doesn't need to match anyone else's energy. They discuss how Stella has navigated the ready-made family that came with Pip, the hesitancy around the baby conversation, and why Lucy thinks Stella's calm isn't a performance but something genuinely earned through life experience. Also covered: Stella's complex dynamic with Brian and why she never rose to his bait, what it means to represent women who are strong without fanfare, whether Stella would ever want to return to farming, the possibility of menopause storylines, and Lucy's own experiences playing long-running characters in The Bill and EastEnders.Plus Lucy's role in Heartstopper, a very important biscuit debate involving Tunnock's Caramel Bars and party rings, and part two with listener questions from the Facebook group coming in two weeks.Topics covered: Stella Pryor | Pip Archer | Brian Aldridge | Lucy Speed | The Bill | EastEnders | Heartstopper | Farm inheritance | The Archers 2026SUPPORT ALL ABOUT THE ARCHERS:You can BUY US A COFFEE here: buymeacoffee.com/allaboutthearchersYou can buy our MERCH here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/aboutthearchers/shopDo join our FACEBOOK Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1127587031446013/ Hosted on Acast. Brian's Manure Disaster, Kate Loses It & Chaos at Grey Gables | The Archers Week in Review 30.06.2026 15λPhilippa and Quentin cover the week in Ambridge — Sunday 28th to Tuesday 30th June — and Brian has properly lost the goodwill of even his most loyal defenders.Kate finally gives Brian both barrels after manure is dumped right next to her field, and rightly so. Ed gets caught in the crossfire between Brian's demands and the Borchester show. Amber is distinctly unimpressed by a very expensive smart cot, and the cracks with her parents continue to widen. Ian proves spectacularly hopeless covering reception at Grey Gables. Helen manages to be Helen about wallpaper. And Lottie and Chris's evening takes an unexpected turn.Plus: thoughts on the new scriptwriter's confident first week, a Doctor Who reference explained courtesy of the Facebook group, the SUV driver mystery resolved (somewhat underwhelmingly), and a preview of this Friday's two-part Stella interview.Topics covered: Brian Aldridge | Kate Aldridge | Ed Grundy | Amber | George Grundy | Keira | Ian Thornton | Helen Archer | Borchester show | Tom Archer | Natasha | The Archers June 2026You can BUY US A COFFEE here: buymeacoffee.com/allaboutthearchersYou can buy our MERCH here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/aboutthearchers/shopDo join our FACEBOOK Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1127587031446013/ Hosted on Acast. Keira Speaks at Last, Brian's Toast Goes Down Badly & Adam's Pension Problem | Archers Week in Review 23.06.2026 16λPhilippa and Katie cover the week in Ambridge — Sunday 21st to Tuesday 23rd June — and it's a big one for new voices and old grudges.Keira finally speaks for the first time, and fits straight into the Aldridge/Pritchard family dynamic. George appears to have had a complete personality transplant — is "nice George" here to stay, or is something brewing? Anne-Marie's hovering is reaching new levels of intensity. Ruth gets roped in as mediator between Adam and Brian, with predictably chaotic results. And Brian wants Kate to toast the dissolution of the partnership — she is having absolutely none of it.Plus: Adam's terrifying lack of pension planning, the countdown to the Borchester show, predictions for the mystery celebrity guest, and a big thank you and good luck to Katie ahead of her wedding in two weeks.Topics covered: Keira | George Grundy | Anne-Marie | Brian Aldridge | Adam Macy | Kate Aldridge | Ruth Archer | Borchester show | Lillian Bellamy | Tony Archer | The Archers June 2026You can BUY US A COFFEE here: buymeacoffee.com/allaboutthearchersYou can buy our MERCH here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/aboutthearchers/shopDo join our FACEBOOK Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1127587031446013/ Hosted on Acast. Andrew Wincott Answers Your Questions — Adam's Daddy Issues, Charlie Thomas & Race Across the World 19.06.2026 23λIn part two of Philippa's conversation with Andrew Wincott (Adam Macy in The Archers), the Facebook group gets its say — and they did not hold back. Over 60 questions and comments came in, and Philippa works through as many as possible.Highlights include: Does Adam lack self-awareness or is he just a muppet? How much of his behaviour comes down to never having Brian's approval? What would have happened if he'd gone off with Charlie Thomas? Does Adam's eye still wander? What's happening with Xander? And which Archers character would most likely make a deal with Raphael from Baldur's Gate 3?Plus — the return of Thorkil the Danish agricultural student, the longest same-sex relationship in any continuing drama, and who Adam would pick as his Race Across the World partner.Topics covered: Adam Macy | Brian Aldridge | Charlie Thomas | Xander | Torquil | Jennifer Aldridge | Baldur's Gate 3 | Raphael | Race Across the World | The Archers 2025 | Listener Q&AYou can contact us here: [email protected] Hosted on Acast. Dog Attack Carnage, Brian's Bad Week & Adam's Dangerous Game with George | Archers Week in Review 16.06.2026 16λPhilippa, Katie and Quentin are back for the week in Ambridge — Sunday 14th to Tuesday 16th June — and it has been a dramatic one.A savage dog attack on Brookfield's sheep leaves 15 dead and more injured, David losing it at Brian over warning signs, and the friendship between the two men looking badly damaged. Meanwhile Adam manipulates George into revealing more about the night of the accident — but what is he planning to do with that information? Could he push George into going to the police himself? And would Brian go further than anyone expects to protect Ruairi? Also this week: Kate has a stunning week — handling Brian, supporting Kirsty and knocking heads together with real Jenny-esque authority. Brian gets a double ouch from both Oliver and David. George and Amber get the Grundy baby cart out. Ian double-books the quiz. And all three hosts independently land on the same Star of the Week, which has never happened before.Plus Star of the Week, Twit of the Week, predictions — and Quentin has a foreboding feeling about Jim Lloyd.Topics covered: Dog attack | Brookfield sheep | Brian Aldridge | Adam Macy | George Grundy | Kate Aldridge | Kirsty Miller | Ian Thornton | Jim Lloyd | Amber | Home Farm | The Archers June 2025ou can BUY US A COFFEE here: buymeacoffee.com/allaboutthearchersYou can buy our MERCH here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/aboutthearchers/shopDo join our FACEBOOK Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1127587031446013/ Hosted on Acast. Andrew Wincott on Playing Adam Macy — "I've Been Waiting 20 Years for This Story" 05.06.2026 25λPhilippa sits down with Andrew Wincott, who plays Adam Macy in The Archers, for a deep dive into one of the most gripping storylines the show has had in years. Recorded on 2 June 2025 — so buckle up, more may have happened since. They discuss: why Andrew saw this succession story coming two decades ago; whether Adam is a principled farmer or a series of spectacular failures; what it was like to record the extraordinary four-person partnership meeting episode; Brian's King Lear qualities; the bombshell "you are not my children" moment; how much Adam really wants this for Xander; and whether Ian's advice has made things better or worse.Plus — Adam's ideal biscuit. Brian's Last Stand, Bubble Wrap Dreams & Rex Finds His Voice 02.06.2026 15λThis week in Ambridge (Sunday 31st May – Tuesday 2nd June), Philippa and Katie dig into the drama at Home Farm, where Alice is clutching at straws and Ed Grundy gets an unexpected job offer. Rex has a week of two very distinct halves — overdoing it with Alice's sobriety, then absolutely finding his voice with Brian in a way nobody saw coming. Stella makes a welcome return, and her honest chat with Brian is a highlight of the week.Tom and Natasha are officially bad at money. A climate-controlled bubble wrap greenhouse (starting at £50k, going up to a cool million), boots on eBay, and a passing suggestion to sell the business — it's not looking good.
