  • Dem Driven Election Chaos, Ed Sheeran Tour on Ropes, Kennedy Center Shutters, KC Star Layoffs, Chiefs 2 QB Sets, Manning Fake Controversy, Disgusting Diarrhea Athlete 16.09.2026 52λ
The democrats are turning up the heat on election season chaos because it's the best card they have to play.  "AI will kill us all," the shout over and over.  Now they got another gift as everyone is quitting Ed Sheeran's massive musical stadium tour after one of the singers began preaching for Palestine on stage.  This is growing, the tour is almost certainly going to be cancelled and Taylor Swift could now get dragged in.    A judge says the Kennedy Center can't have Trump's name of likeness or a plaque in the lobby unless Congress approves it.  So Trump called the Board of Directors and had them close the Kennedy Center until further notice.  wow.     The KC Star has had more layoffs and we don't cheer that in any way.  But there are more media jobs in America today than any time in history so it's hard to not believe this is mostly their own fault.   The Chiefs are a dream come true for me if they continue to run plays with two quarterbacks on the field.  Texas QB Arch Manning is all caught up in a fake controversy and a new style sports competition has a disgusting winner that endured explosive diarrhea while competing.  You have to hear this.
  • It's Good to be Wrong, Chiefs Trample Denver, New Schemes Shine, Bills Anthem Controversy, Hickman School Sale Shocker, Royals Announce Construction Plans 15.09.2026 50λ
I've begged and pleaded all off season... please let me be wrong.  Andy says, "I got you."    For the first time in three years, the Chiefs brought something new to their season opener.  Something really, really new and it was spectacular.   How great was Kenneth Walker racking up 191 total yards?  So great that in the storied history of the franchise the Chiefs have never had a game where their quarterback started a game 2 for 12 passing and the Chiefs won.  In fact, in this one, they never trailed.  Good golly was this a thing of beauty.    The one area your humble host was right was the Chiefs clearly built this off season for Justin Fields to start the opener but you're always going with Mahomes even if he was rusty, and admittedly, has a lot of work to do this year to get into form.    It wasn't just the offense as the defense has a whole new look and shine.   The Buffalo Bills are under fire for announcing they are perrorming the Canadian national anthem this Thursday night.  Robert Kraft makes a great decision about a concert at Gillette Stadium.    The Royals announce construction plans for their new ballpark.  Hickman Mills Schools sells a grade school on the cheap and some folks aren't happy.  And our Final Final is legendary radio announcer, Hall of Famer Dale Carter, running for office in Jackson County and happy to not be the Chiefs PA announcer anymore.
  • Border War Statement as Eli Let's it Fly, KSU Drubs Wazzou, Mahomes Ready for Spotlight, Rocker's Pro Canada Song 14.09.2026 46λ
The Border War stayed closer than it should have been most of the night as Mizzou downs KU.  Not a whole lot to break down on the field but all the stuff off the field is what everyone is talking about.  Especially Eli Drinkwitz who just let it fly.    In Manhattan, the Cats may not be the most talented team but they sure play clean games.  After two games, the KSU defense hasn't allowed a touchdown and except for a couple QB brain farts here and there, they've been nearly flawless.    Then the bright lights of Monday Night Football are ready to shine on Patrick Mahomes and the league's marquee franchise.  Stan breaks down the matchup for us... spoiler alert... neither of us is all that optimistic for a win.
  • Football Feast w/Stan: Border War Preview, Cats and Cougs, Top 5 Showdown, Lee Sterling Picks, Song of Week 10.09.2026 56λ
The Border War is back in Lawrence for the first time in 21 years and the pressure is all on Mizzou.  Stan Weber is here with the matchups that matter for KU and MU.  We talk week one clues and new coaching trends throughout CFB.  KSU host Washington State and Texas and Ohio State have a top 5 showdown.    Then, Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com has your point spread picks and two plays this weekend for $1.    Finally, our song of the week is about the government and you're going to like most of it.
  • KKHI Special: Carrington Harrison Discusses MU/KU Documentary & Sports Radio in KC 10.09.2026 53λ
It seems crazy but true, Carrington Harrison is officially the longest pursued interview guest of my career.  FIVE YEARS!    Nobody's to blame here, really, it's just been business.  We've always worked with competing companies and, for a couple years, this podcast was a no go zone for a lot of bosses in KC media.    Carrington is not only the best sports talk host in KC, he's a documentary film maker.  He's kind of making the rest of us look lazy and shallow.  Over the past couple years hosting "The Drive" every afternoon on 96.5 The Fan, he was also working on Armageddon at Arrowhead about the epic 2007 MU-KU game in 2007.  The doc is out just in time before Friday's Border War in Lawrence and will hit a streaming service soon.    We chat about our industry, how long it took to make his second film and of course preview Friday's game and the upcoming Chiefs season.  It's been worth the wait.  He's talented, likable, tough and fair.  Enjoy!
  • Sling Hygrometers, Haboobs and a Song: Jessica Joins the Pod for Great Time w/Gary Lezak 09.09.2026 50λ
This is so much fun as Jessica finally grabs a microphone and joins in at KKHI.  It took having Gary Lezak from www.weather2020.com to come on as a guest in order for Jess to jump in but she's got a whole bunch of questions for KC's most famous meteorologist.   We'll talk about haboobs and slings and, well, a few football forecasts.    We also learn that Gary keeps his own Top 40 list of songs every month and stays on current music.  So we introduce him to the song "Gary" by Stepen Wilson Jr.   You're going to enjoy this one.
  • College Football's Long Weekend Kickoff, Farm School Teaches All of Us 08.09.2026 51λ
We got our first look at the Tigers, Jayhawks and Wildcats in week one of the college football season and there's reason to believe good things are ahead.  We tackle the highs and very few lows as Mizzou gets ready to head to Lawrence to play KU on national tv Friday night.    In Manhattan, first game head coach Collin Klein almost set a record by hanging 71 points on the board and almost giving the mascot a heart attack.  Michigan is the luckiest team in history and another Big Ten team lost as a 30 point home fave.   Then, we meet Amanda Meyers of www.farmschoolusa.com and we learn a thing or two about teaching our kids in new ways.  Parents everywhere are looking for alternatives to government schools and this gem in Raymore has a waiting list you won't believe.
  • CFB Off and Running, Turmoil Rules, Lee Sterling Point Spread Picks 04.09.2026 37λ
Mizzou notched easy at the Zou while a 30 point favorite Rutgers loses at home.  Between gambling scandals, eligibility chaos and lawsuits galore, this season could we a wild one for the ages.    Also, Lee Sterling is here from www.paramountsports.com with his picks for the weekend and three free plays for everyone that signs up for his free emails and newsletters.
  • Football Feast: Three Nights, Three Games in a Row for KC Fans 03.09.2026 59λ
We begin the Football Feast with Stan Weber  analyzing the Chiefs 53 man roster.  There are more question marks right now than answers up and down this roster but Stan is in no panic mode.  Get Mahomes on the field, beat the Broncos and watch everything change, is his theme.  It's a three team race in the West and we will share our thoughts.    Then, we dive into this past messy month of college football eligibility and how it may, or may not, affect some teams right out of the gate.    One by one... we tackle Mizzou vs Ark Pine Bluff, Long Island vs KU and Nicholls State vs. KSU.  Three nights in a row a local game for college fans in KC to feast upon.  It's here.  Let's go!
  • Dad Blasts Sanctuary Dems, DOJ Targets KCK Schools, Apple Maps Lake America, Chiefs Prez on New Construction, Romo Apologizes, Ichiro Channels Andy Reid, 1587 Makes Change 02.09.2026 48λ
Marcus Coleman is a dad who's daughter suffered devastating injuries after an illegal alien trucker smashed in to her car in California.  On Tuesday, Coleman appeared before a House Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity and Sanctuary Policy and gave the most powerful, blunt remarks to the democrats you've ever heard.    The DOJ has filed a first of it's kind lawuit and it just happens to be against the KCK school district.  We have the details on how the district kept information from parents about their children and why that's against the law.    Apple and Google have changed their maps in the USA from Lake Ontario to Lake America.    Chiefs president Mark Donovan met with the media Tuesday and discussed what lengths the chiefs have gone to in order to get the best ideas and concepts from other teams facilities all over America.    Tony Romo apologizes and says he will work his way back to CBS Sports after he and his doctors help him ditch his dependency on painkillers and how alcohol use has affected it.    A former teammate shares a story about legendary baseball player Ichiro Suzuki playing road games in KC and having something in common with Andy Reid.    In our Final Final, 1587 restaurant makes a pretty big change.  What does this mean?
  • Chiefs Plans for Development Around Stadium, Ballroom Build Continues, JD Blasts Illegal Truckers, Gutfeld Spits Fire, Tongy School Suprise, Chiefs Enter LSU Fray, Mitchell Back at MU, KU Hoops Shock 01.09.2026 47λ
The Hunt family has started a new company called Two Point Development and shared plans with what they plan to build around their new stadium in KCK and their new headquarters in Olathe.    Trump gets the go ahead from the Supreme Court to keep building his ballroom and military facility.  JD Vance hits the road to blast illegal alien truckers that can't speak or read english.  Greg Gutfeld returns from vacation and just unloads on the only liberal at the table on The Five.  You gotta hear this.    Tonganoxie Middle School gets a huge surprise from You Tube's top content creator.    In Sports, the Chiefs get a defensive end who was part of the group filing a lawsuit to be allowed to go play at LSU if they didn't make an NFL roster.  The SEC and non conference opponents  are threatening to not play LSU.    The new SEC rules benefit Mizzou as star basketball player Mark Mitchell with come back to Columbia instead of playing for Kentucky.   CBS Sports Gary Parrish has released his first hoops Top 25 plus 1 and loves Mizzou this year.  But that's not the shocker.  Wait until you hear what he thinks of Kansas.    Lance Leipold sings praises for new starting qb Isaiah Marshall and a famous singer is hospitalized in St. Louis after a health scare on stage.
  • Gas Deal for Lower Prices, Lake Don-Tario, Leno Saved Every Penny, Chiefs Roster Set, Butker a Weak Link?, Eli Rips Eligibility Rules, Scottie Wins Big 31.08.2026 48λ
It's being called the biggest oil deal in the history of the world as the United States has its hands on 65 billion barrels of Venzuelan oil.  President Trump says gas prices will shoot downward and he's calling in oil execs this week to put pressure on them asap.    Our favorite Trump impressionist, Shawn Farash, drops a beauty renaming a great lake "Lake Dontario."    Another comedian, Jay Leno, opened up on a podcast that he was overpaid to host the Tonight Show and never spent a dime of it.  Incredible.    The Chiefs roster is set and the two biggest questions are offensive line rotations and.... Harrison Butker?  Yes, this is a huge year for KC's longtime kicker and he'd better pull it together.    Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz rips college sports' eligibility rules, KU Athletics as approved a budget that runs on a $13 million deficit and Scottie Scheffler win the Tour Championship.    Royals announcer Ryan Lefebvre did a really, really nice thing this weekend and our Final Final is Dems boycotting a business where they've never been a customer.
  • One Target for Midterms, Ch. 9 Meteorologist Stands Strong, Lake America, CNN Botches Dolly Coverage, Mahomes Keeps us Guessing, KU Names Starter, Golf Controversy is Stupid 28.08.2026 46λ
There really is only one target, one campaign slogan, one repeatable line for every Republican running and it's just sitting there for the taking.  If this party can find a way to change the narrative away from Trump and onto this, they could win.    A local meteorologist is bullied relentlessly online for being.... pregnant.  She fights back in a big way and we are all for her.    Trump misses the mark in his selection for a new name for Lake Ontario.  CNN gets it all wrong with images of a Dolly Parton impersonator while covering the iconic singer's death.    In Sports, national media seem to think Mahomes may not play in the opener.  KU names a starting quarterback and it's a bit of a surprise.  KSU is ready to speed up their play calling and offensive pace this year.  And a golf controversy about a company that made an unfunny  commercial is the dumbest cancellation in years.
  • Mixed Signals on Mahomes, Farm School Rocks, Hawley Targets Flock Cameras, JOCO Property Taxes Up, R's Streak Ends, TCU Pulls Credentials, Armageddon at Arrowhead Doc Premiere, Girls in Boys Sports 27.08.2026 53λ
If you ask anyone in KC, it's a stone cold lock that Patrick Mahomes in starting against the Broncos in Week 1 and that includes asking anyone in the media.  But media outside KC are pointing out some contradictions in what the Chiefs are saying, and doing right now, and interpret this situation as totally up in the air.    I'd never heard of Farm School until I had lunch with Tim and Britt Cross of www.crosskitchenskc.com Wednesday.  Their oldest attends Farm School "Lolly and Pops" in Raymore and were featured on a piece produced by KSHB-TV.  This is one of the greatest school ideas ever... you have to hear this.    Senator Josh Hawley is targeting Flock Cameras alongside.... Bernie Sanders?   JOCO property taxes are going up again next year, your democrat leaders couldn't hate you more.    In Sports, the Royals win streak ends at 9 as they faced another Mizzou starting pitcher in Toronto.  The Big 12 joins the Big Ten and SEC in not allowing pros to come back to college and I think they made a mistake at least in the short term.  TCU pulls credentials from the largest media outlet covering their football team as they head for Ireland to face Bill Belichick's UNC team.  And TCU is 1000% in the wrong.    A new documentary by the best sports talk show host in KC, Carrington Harrison,  debuts Thursday night at Screenland Armour Theater in NKC and it's called Armageddon at Arrowhead.  It's about that epic MU-KU football game at Arrowhead nearly 20 years ago.    ESPN dumps something for college football, Tom Brady's store in SF gets robbed and a girl is dominating the Little League World Series.
  • Doomsday Plane Over KC, Remembering Dolly, Lake Ontario Ideas, Mayor Q Stands w/Canada, Mahomes Runs Scout Team, Barkley Blasts WNBA, Redskins Make Comeback, Royals 9 in a Row 26.08.2026 57λ
Nobody knows the inside story of why CIA Director John Ratcliffe was in Moscow Tuesday but while he was, 5 "Doomsday Planes" were in they sky over America including one that spend all day flying by KC.  What is going on?    Dolly Parton was truly loved by millions both young and old and from every possible background.  She was a singer, actor, philanthropist and the person that just made everyone feel great.  What an amazing life.  We have a clip of her on the Tonight Show w/Johnny Carson that displayed every one of her traits all at one time.    We've got better new names for Lake Ontario than Lake America.  Mayor Q says he stands with Canada now, not with the USA as politics matter more than country.   In sports, Patrick Mahomes is running the scout team 18 days before the first game of the season.  49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan draws the short straw and has to talk about his owner Jed York getting popped in a prostitution sting.  Charles Barkley blasts the WNBA for it's "awful year."  In DC, the Redskins are making a comeback and we support it fully.  And the Royals have now won 9 in a row.
  • Mail In Voting Victory for Now, 49ers Owner's Cheap Hooker, Women Have it Best, Fla Schools Teach Communism History, K-Balls Doctored, Mahomes Contradiction, Disney NFL Shirts 25.08.2026 53λ
The Supreme Court has told a lower court it cannot keep President Trump from implementing his executive order on mail in voting this November and it's a nice win.  But it's a million miles from over as more cases in lower courts are pending and even more are about to be filed.  We explain the difference in this ruling and what the SAVE America Act would do.    The owner of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers pleads no contest after going out of his way to find a trailer park hooker for $140.  He's a billionaire!   This is the most fun story of 2026 as far as I'm concerned.    Men are stupid, that's for sure.  But then we focus in on women and why they are so unhappy in America when they have it better than anyone on earth.  Brace yourself as we tell the hard truth.    Ron DeSantis has implemented communism history classes in government schools in Florida.  It starts in 6th grade and runs through high school and focuses on freedoms that citizens lose in communist countries and the history and lack of success in every country that's tried it.    We have an update for you on how Harrison Butker kicked a 69 yard field goal into the net.  Patrick Mahomes says two different things about his playing status in the same sentence.  The American League playoff race is wild as a team under .500 could make the post season.  Disney rolls out some really cool NFL team gear featuring Disney characters, we'll tell you what character they picked for the Chiefs.
  • 69 Yarder is Pre Season Only, Royals Can't be Stopped, Monster Energy Loves Controversy, Romo on the Ropes, Iran Getting Hungry, Hospital Botches Surgeries, NLBM Boom, Teachers for Target 24.08.2026 53λ
Everyone is talking about Harrison Butker's 69 yard field goal Saturday in Tampa but remember, it's the pre-season.  Sure, it looks like real football, sometimes, but it's not.  Not even the kicks.  Last year a Jags kicker hit a 70 yarder.   But you won't even see teams try this in the regular season when the NFL watches over all the kicking balls like a hawk.    The Royals are just unstoppable right now as they win their 8th game in a row.  What could have been this year if the Royals just had 1 or 2 pitchers in the bullpen.    Monster Energy drink is the new sponsor of the Big 12 Conference and it's already controversial.  And Monster loves it.    A new report suggest Tony Romo could be on his way out at CBS Sports after getting a DUI.    A high ranking member of Iran's Parliament has spoken publicly that Iranians could be starving soon and that will not be sustainable for the regime.  More news on the economic D-Day are set top be revealed Monday.    A hospital in Nashville mixes up drugs and botches multiple surgeries.  The Negro Leagues Museum in KC has seen a big bump in traffic for one specific reason.  A new covid shot study of over 8 million people has bad, bad news for what they did to us.  A teachers union president asks for people to NOT shop at Target... so I think I will go get some stuff.    And our Final Final is a football player that got dissed by Tom Hanks at Travis and Taylor's wedding.
  • KKHI Special: Season Preview "Football Feast" w/Stan Weber 21.08.2026 56λ
It's almost go time as the first college football games are Thursday, and then, next Saturday TCU plays UNC along with other games in Week Zero.  So let's just jump start the whole thing with a season preview Football Feast!    Stan Weber gets us started answering the most pressing questions about the Chiefs.    After that,  we preview Mizzou at the 23:15 mark, K-State at the 34:45 mark and KU at 46:15.   It's all here.    Are you ready for some football?
  • Economic D-Day, Midterm Convention, Schmitt Golfs w/#1, KKHI Mailbag, Mahomes Sack Rate in Focus, Dire KU Prediction, R's on Roll, NASCAR Kansas Dates Announced 20.08.2026 48λ
It feels like President Trump is not interested in any more military actions against Iran and has pivoted to economic pressure that he's calling an Economic D-Day.  And it seems it's dragging half the world in with it.  Scary stuff indeed.    The GOP will have a Midterm Convention September 9th and 10th in Dallas.  Who picked these dates?  It's opening night and night two for the NFL so you can scratch 40 million people out that won't be watching.    The PGA Tour playoffs are in St. Louis this week and the Pro-Am portion was Wednesday.  Senator Eric Schmitt teed it up with world #1 player Scottie Scheffler.    We open up the mailbag as many of you share your stories of dumping all your NIKE gear with me years ago.    In sports, an analytics pro says Patrick Mahomes sack rate will determine the fate of his comeback and it has very little to do with offensive line play.  I've got the numbers.... and I agree.    A KU grad that reports on the Big 12 has a dire prediction for the Jayhawks this football season.  The Royals are on a heater with a wildly dramatic comeback win over the A's and NASCAR announces it's pair of race weekends at Kansas Speedway next year.
  • Stadium Saga Ends w/Arrest, Pablo "Pledgescobar" Busted, Minn Award Winner Charged, Nike's Leftist Fail, Chiefs OT Sits, EB Speaks, SKC Spends Big, Pro Golf in KC 19.08.2026 46λ
The four year saga to build a new stadium in KC for the Royals was a blockbuster to watch and we all thought it ended with the big Crown Center announcement earlier this year.  Boy, were we wrong.  It ended with a Royals worker being arrested at a council meeting when it broke out into a free for all.  Hilarious.    Penn State frat boys got busted running a drug ring and their leader's nickname is one for the ages.      The Minnesota award winner for "Refugee of the Year" is charged with 8 counts for fraud stealing millions from Medicaid.  Of course he did.      Nike is a failing company and has been ever since it paid millions to Collin Kaepernick for kneeling during the national anthem and holding news conferences wearing Castro tee shirts.  This is bad, but they can fix it.  Just do it.     The most counted on Chiefs O-Lineman misses practice Tuesday with, uh oh, a back injury.  Eric Bieniemy speaks about his son shooting his wife.    Sporting KC spends millions on an international player and boy do they need something good.  The Advent Health Championship golf tourney starts Thursday at Blue Hills as Tom Watson takes center stage as the tourney ambassador.  And our Final Final is sad news about a legendary rock band.
