Tawfeeq As Sayegh is a renowned Qur'an reciter born in 1974 in Asmara, Eritrea. He studied at the Scientific Institute of Jeddah and later at Imam Mohamed Bin Saud University and Umm al Qura University in Makkah. Mentored by notable scholars, he became a prolific reciter and serves as president of the Eritrean community in Jeddah and on the General Committee of the Holy Qur'an Prize Faleh Al-Thani in Doha. He also teaches at a primary school in Jeddah.
