let go of regret & self doubt 24.07.2026 47mThis is for you if you, too, are no stranger to feeling regret. To always feeling like you could have done something better, to regretting not speaking up, or regretting not going for it. To holding yourself hostage for what you do regret saying or doing without being able to stop the mental chatter long enough to find self-compassion. Today I take you through 2 types of regret and a story about why the fear of regret sabotages our success. Then I give you 3 antidotes for regret that will help you overcome your feelings of regret, along with your feelings of lack and indecision that are rooted in a FEAR of regret. The truth is that the hard decisions that we might regret either way, the moments we might regret, make the absolute best stories of our lives. So it’s time to take back our power, and not let regret rule our life… whether that’s past regret, or fear of future regret. Key words: overcoming regret, 3 antidotes for regret, feeling regret, how to overcome regret, dealing with regret, let go of regret, fear of regret, regret and perfectionism, self compassion, how to stop regretting the past, overcoming self doubt, mindset shifts, decisiveness, how to be decisive, fear of making mistakes, taking positive risks, personal growth, emotional healing, self grace.Join a mastermind group inside my Patreon (Leadership and Yoga CLUB) https://www.patreon.com/cw/shawnakru Find Shawna on instagram: @shawnakru Shawna’s websiteOfferingTree is an all-in-one business platform for yoga teachers and studios. Maybe you've already fallen in love with the practice, or maybe you're wondering what it’s all about. In this episode we dive into what I've come to understand about the world of Rocket: the history, the sequence, the community, and lessons from my own teachers. create the life you want by talking to your past self 10.07.2026 10mThis is an immersive special, poetic musical storytelling of how talking to your past self changes your life. This is about how to remember hope in moments of darkness, and one day realizing your dreams came true. This is the first time I put visuals with my podcast, to help you feel the message even more, so let me know what you think. A little gritty, very deep, and hopefully incredibly inspiring for you to remember your power. You can watch or listen to it almost like a guided meditation. I hope it inspires you to write and also send love to your past self. You are the inspiration you have been looking for. Everything I’ve learned from Richard Rudd of the Gene Keys, Frederick Dodson of Levels of Energy and Parallel Universes of Self, and even some Dr. Joe Dispenza organized itself in my head in a new way for this one… It includes footage of my yoga practice, which has played a key part in helping me understand how to live the life I want. In this episode, I’m sitting down with Consul General Prakash Gupta, a key diplomat behind the UN resolution for the International Day of Yoga, to explore the intersection of yoga, and global diplomacy. the yoga in everything: finding your creative inspiration 19.06.2026 1h 5mWhat do yoga and creativity have in common? Can yoga help us tap into creative energy? Both creativity and yoga invite us into a sense of liberation. Both ask us to be present. Both require us to notice. There is an endless wellspring of creativity we can tap into, but it doesn’t always feel easy to access. Sometimes, we need to go outside. To play. Then, we can go within, and let our creative practice or our yoga practice guide us. This episode is for you, creative yogis: those of you following the creative fire, who want to be transformed by yoga, but also want to transform the world around you with your creative energy. We practice to see the yoga in everything, and to find creative energy everywhere.GIVEAWAY: https://join.yogatrade.com/giveaway (My sponsor)Patreon: Leadership and Yoga CLUB. teaching yoga & overcoming imposter syndrome 12.06.2026 54mIf you want more confidence, and to be less self-critical, and to care less about how you are perceived and if you are “good enough” in the eyes of others, this episode is for you. If you have ever struggled with habitual fears of being an imposter, of letting yourself down, or of secretly worrying that deep down you are not good enough, this episode is for you. If you have been scarred by a very critical environment or harsh feedback and can’t stop thinking about it long enough to try again, this episode is for you, dear listener. This episode is about the lie that is the general use of the term imposter syndrome, and how we can classify it into two types: rightful imposter syndrome, and habitual psychological imposter syndrome. And from there, this episode gives you something to chew on, and tangible steps to take to overcome “imposter syndrome” and change the way you think about it forever. Poranguí on Serving the Music and the Yoga of Sound 20.05.2026 1h 19mToday on the Leadership and Yoga podcast, I talk with Poranguí about the power of music to heal, awaken, and reconnect us to ourselves. In this episode, Poranguí shares what it feels like to improvise music in front of thousands of people with no set plan, trusting whatever wants to come through in the moment. We talk ritual, creativity, flow states, consciousness, ancestors, collective human connection, nervous system regulation, coherence as leaders, and music as medicine. Poranguí reminds us that interbeing is how we find meaning in life, and he leads by example. This is what the yoga of sound really means. Nicole Wild on Facing Death as an Extension of the Yoga Practice 06.05.2026 1h 2mIn this episode, yoga teacher Nicole Wild shares what she's learned about life and yoga from confronting death: both in the cadaver lab and through working in hospice, being with people in their last moments. She shares how sitting with grief and impermanence are part of her yoga practice, bringing in a deeper reverence for life. This conversation is about fear, discomfort, embodiment, gratitude, and embracing your life (and teaching) as you are, today."Allowing space for letting go, allowing space for endings, allowing space for deaths in all forms, whether that's actual human lives or just the little things we have to let go of on a day-to-day basis…doing that work is absolutely a part of the yoga practice." - Nicole WildQuote on the fires of the heart mentioned is by Edmund Wilson. flirting with life: how to romanticize life & overcome numbness 01.05.2026 46mAren’t we all looking for that feeling of energy of waking up happy to be alive? That’s what it feels like when we learn to flirt with our life, to romanticize things enough to pay attention to the details. Flirting with your life is about patience, rather than convenience and instant gratification. It’s about being ornate, not ikea. And when we do this, we overcome numbness and feeling stuck and replace it with creative flow, and freshness. Flirting is about freshness, about putting flowers on our wall even though we know they will wilt. Freshness reminds us that we must allow for constant evolution and change in our lives. We wish to hold onto our inspired, high on life states once we have them, but they must be constantly refreshed. This episode speaks to the way that presence itself is a sensual thing, it’s what allows us to connect to the natural magnetism that exists in everything. Let’s talk rituals, solo-dates, exploration and reconnecting with the magic of life.
