Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary was a highly distinguished and influential Quran reciter from Egypt. Born in 1917, he memorized the Quran by age eight and mastered the ten Qira'at at Al-Azhar University. He was one of the first reciters to have his complete Quranic recitation recorded and broadcast worldwide. This podcast features his recitation in the Warsh 'an Naafi' narration, which is especially prominent in North and West Africa.
