Non-monogamy is not for everyone, but you might be curious about it. Could it be right for you? How do non-monogamous couples deal with jealousy? I was curious myself, and the more I asked, the more I became surprised by this unexplored topic. In Polycurious I have casual and intimate conversations with non-monogamous couples, sex and relationship experts, friends, and even people who tried polyamory and realized it wasn’t for them. This podcast is for the polycurious, whether you have explored non-monogamy or not.

  • 82. Lessons From Building a Triad with The Kink Collective 08.09.2026 1h 9m
Cat, Natalie, and Joshua from The Kink Collective talk about their experience building a triad. We talk about honesty and transparency in non monogamy, especially when telling the full truth feels scary because you’re worried about your partner’s reaction, and what happens when you struggle to trust a partner who isn’t fully transparent.Natalie also shares her experience entering an established relationship, navigating Joshua’s other partners, and realizing she sometimes compared Cat to her own mom because of their significant age difference. Finally, we talk about letting go of expectations about what a relationship is “supposed” to look like and allowing their triad to develop organically.Resourced mentioned:The Kink Collective Website: https://kinkcollective.net/Book a free exploratory call with me here:https://calendly.com/fernandafabian/30minJoin our Whatsapp community here:https://www.polycurious.com/communityFollow Polycurious on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/polycuriouspodcast?igshid=1mrwl69kdbtasFollow Polycurious on Tik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@polycurious
  • 81. When Your Partner Doesn't Want Non-monogamy with Courtney and Nate (the Mono-Poly couple) 26.08.2026 1h
When Courtney proposed opening their marriage on their 17th anniversary, their relationship was struggling. Nate was a devoted father and provider, but he had become emotionally distant. Courtney’s proposal was initially met with anger, judgment, and fears that she was trying to replace him.Through therapy, difficult conversations, and learning to sit with jealousy instead of trying to fix it, Nate gradually came to understand that Courtney’s desire for non-monogamy wasn’t a rejection of him, it was part of who she is.As Courtney began dating, Nate saw her become happier, more present, and more connected to their family. At the same time, he worked on himself and became the partner Courtney had been missing.Today, more than two decades into their marriage, Courtney and Nate have built a mono-poly relationship that works for them. In this episode, they share what it took to get there.Resources mentioned:Bonus ep.81 on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/0gQfpMLtNwt6lHBskEhEoJ?si=846f1b613a1e49e6On Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/Polycurious/posts/getting-over-ask-167701931The Mono-Poly Couple YouTube channel:https://www.youtube.com/@TheMonoPolyCoupleCourtney's website (coaching, books, retreats):www.courtneyboyercoaching.com/Their Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/themonopolycouple/Polycurious ep.80 How To Process Jealousy and Difficult Emotions:https://open.spotify.com/episode/7CtSRE2pLUVQDldirevmT8?si=77aacf23ba004382Jealousy Survival Guide:https://www.polycurious.com/resourcesJoin My Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/c/PolycuriousBook a free exploratory call with me here:https://calendly.com/fernandafabian/30minJoin our Whatsapp community here:https://www.polycurious.com/communityFollow Polycurious on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/polycuriouspodcast?igshid=1mrwl69kdbtasFollow Polycurious on Tik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@polycurious

  • 80. How To Process Jealousy and Difficult Emotions 08.07.2026 26m
In this solo episode, I'm sharing the emotional processing tool that's completely changed the way I handle difficult emotions. It's called RAIN, and while I didn't create it (it was popularized by meditation teacher Tara Brach), I've adapted it over the years for myself and my coaching clients. It's become one of the most effective ways I know to work through jealousy, calm my nervous system, and show up to difficult conversations feeling grounded instead of reactive.R - Recognize Name the emotion (shame, fear, sadness, worry, etc.)A - Allow Let the feeling move through your body. Focus on the sensations. Sit or lay down, close your eyes and breathe. It will feel uncomfortable, allow those feelings to come into your body. Ideally at least 20 min. I - Investigate With compassion, ask yourself why you might be feeling that way. How might your past experiences play a role? What’s the lesson there? What do you need?N – Nurture Think of what you’d tell a friend if they came to you with your concerns. Tell that to yourself, providing support, love and compassion you need. Give yourself a hug. If you can, do something you think will make you feel better (take a bath, call a friend, journal, exercise etc.)Resources mentioned:Jealousy Survival Guidehttps://www.polycurious.com/resourcesMore on RAIN:Tara Brach's podcastAudiobook Breathwork Exercise I'd recommend you listen to this, as it's a good explanation of how focusing on your body interrupts the thoughts (helpful for the allow part)Book a free exploratory call with me here:https://calendly.com/fernandafabian/30minJoin our Whatsapp community here:https://www.polycurious.com/communityFollow Polycurious on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/polycuriouspodcast?igshid=1mrwl69kdbtasFollow Polycurious on Tik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@polycurious

  • 70. Jealousy is Information with Kayla + Carl (Part 2) 20.01.2026 41m
In part two of my conversation with Kayla and Carl, we explore how jealousy can be a powerful source of information, helping us understand what we want more of and how we can grow. We also talk about a major milestone in their non monogamy journey: Carl’s first experience stepping outside his marriage, which was also his first sexual connection with someone other than Kayla.Resources Mentioned:Kayla's Essay: https://medium.com/@kaylamerz/truth-sex-and-non-monogamy-8f1e42c8fde4?postPublishedType=initialJoin my Patreon here:https://www.patreon.com/c/PolycuriousGet my free guide to opening up here:https://www.polycurious.com/guide-to-opening-upBook a free exploratory call with me here:https://calendly.com/fernandafabian/30minJoin our Whatsapp community here:https://www.polycurious.com/communityFollow Polycurious on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/polycuriouspodcast?igshid=1mrwl69kdbtasFollow Polycurious on Tik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@polycuriousWatch the podcast on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@polycuriouspodcast
  • 69. Non-monogamy Saved Our Marriage with Kayla + Carl (Part 1) 13.01.2026 59m
Kayla and Carl, a married couple with young kids, share how non monogamy helped them move out of a decline in sexual connection and communication. While Carl was initially not interested in exploring outside the relationship himself, his support of Kayla’s exploration became a major turning point. Kayla, who is seven years older and had often felt more in charge in the relationship, began to see Carl differently: more confident, grounded, and secure. That shift had a powerful impact on their intimacy. This episode explores how non monogamy can introduce new sexual energy into a relationship and help long-term couples who feel stagnant find their way out of a rut.Resources Mentioned:Listen to Part 2 of our conversation on Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/c/PolycuriousWatch Parents Mini Series on YouTube (ep.42 - ep. 46)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFX44KoR8S4&list=PLuhHN8kw_43UM2tkDWg8xwIZbOQBE__EeListen to Poly Parents Mini Series:https://www.polycurious.com/podcast/ep42Kayla's Essay: https://medium.com/@kaylamerz/truth-sex-and-non-monogamy-8f1e42c8fde4?postPublishedType=initialJoin my Patreon here:https://www.patreon.com/c/PolycuriousGet my free guide to opening up here:https://www.polycurious.com/guide-to-opening-upBook a free exploratory call with me here:https://calendly.com/fernandafabian/30minJoin our Whatsapp community here:https://www.polycurious.com/communityFollow Polycurious on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/polycuriouspodcast?igshid=1mrwl69kdbtasFollow Polycurious on Tik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@polycuriousWatch the podcast on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@polycuriouspodcast
  • 68. Having Three DADT Partners with Alex & Skyler 16.12.2025 1h 3m
In this episode, we explore what it looks like to navigate three Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell relationships in which all partners want escalation, while Skyler is not ready to step onto the relationship escalator with any of them. This tension is especially present for Alex, who is in her mid-thirties and thinking seriously about partnership, stability, and having children. Skyler shares how he moved from a long-term monogamous marriage into non-hierarchy and unexpectedly found himself in three relationships, while Alex reflects on meeting Skyler shortly before her divorce and falling in love while still grieving. Together, we unpack when Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell dynamics can feel protective versus when they can become harmful and how non-hierarchy can create tension when people’s futures are uncertain.Join my Patreon here:https://www.patreon.com/c/PolycuriousGet my free guide to opening up here:https://www.polycurious.com/guide-to-opening-upBook a free exploratory call with me here:https://calendly.com/fernandafabian/30minJoin our Whatsapp community here:https://www.polycurious.com/communityFollow Polycurious on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/polycuriouspodcast?igshid=1mrwl69kdbtasFollow Polycurious on Tik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@polycuriousWatch the podcast on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@polycuriouspodcast
  • 67. What Two Terrible Breakups Taught Me with Jesse 04.12.2025 1h 9m
Today, Jesse opens up about two challenging breakups that unfolded in the context of non-monogamy, how those endings impacted his reputation within his community, and how they shaped the way he saw himself. He also shares how later, healthier relationships helped him rewrite those old narratives. We talk about why we’re often drawn to people who aren’t actually a good fit for partnership, why even “bad” relationships can be valuable for the growth they spark, and how those experiences ultimately help us get clearer about what we want and lead us toward more grounded, nourishing connections.Bonus Patreon Content with Jesse:Being a Male Unicorn:https://www.patreon.com/posts/bonus-ep-67-male-145030257Breaking Up for The Right Reasons:https://www.patreon.com/posts/bonus-ep-67-up-145030787Get my free guide to opening up here:https://www.polycurious.com/guide-to-opening-upBook a free exploratory call with me here:https://calendly.com/fernandafabian/30minJoin my Patreon here:https://www.patreon.com/c/PolycuriousJoin our Whatsapp community here:https://www.polycurious.com/communityFollow Polycurious on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/polycuriouspodcast?igshid=1mrwl69kdbtasFollow Polycurious on Tik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@polycuriousWatch Polycurious on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@polycuriouspodcast
