  Proletarian TV | 14 September 2026 Chris Williamson, deputy leader of the Workers Party, speaks at the inaugural meeting of the Antifascist international on 5th September 2026. Labour is a party of the warmongers, he says. He gives his opinion that it used to be a party where there were peace activists and socialists, but not any more. Even the so called “Socialist campaign group” of Labour Party MPs are rabid supporters of war with Ukraine. John McDonnell is on record calling for more arms to Ukraine, and stating that arming the fascist Zelensky regime is “the path to peace”! [what difference, then between the “left” labourites and the most rabid neoconservatives like trump, biden, clinton and blair?] Chris gives his opinion that “austerity is a choice”, and recited the modern monetary theory that Britain had a sovereign currency so can simply print as much money as is needed to give people whatever they want. [MMT says essentially that: Money is not real. The government issues bonds. This is welfare for the rich. They put their money there as a cast iron savings guarantee. …but why does capitalism need poverty of the masses? What happens to the bond value if money is printed and circulated without any relation to actual goods produced? What is the relationship between the “first” and “third” world nations? Where does value of a commodity arise? What is wealth? Can one eat money? all of these are questions that MMT does not address, but Marx’s capital does, we note] Chris ends by noting that speakers have drawn attention to the repressive nature of the [capitalist] state. Chris says that what we want, however, is to take control of the levers of the state, make the laws and use it as a force for good. [This implies that the capitalist class will surrender their dictatorship at the ballot box. Again, this is not the conception of Marx or Lenin, who realise that the capitalist “democracy” is a dictatorship, that rests upon force in the last analysis, with a good deal of misinformation, propaganda and lies thrown in, as well as on the wealth of the caitalist class. Marx and Engels and Lenin contend that the bourgeois state must be smashed, as it will not answer to the needs of the workers. In its place the workers will have to build a new state. A state of the armed and organised working class themselves. The accomplishment of this task is the historic mission of the working class, and the purpose of the working class revolution.   Proletarian TV | 9 September 2026 Kotsai Siguake of the RCG speaks powerfully at the founding conference of the Antifascist international Hermes at Bolivar Hall in London on Sat 5th September 2026. The Imperialist state is in deep crisis - and has been since October 7th 2023. The poor and proletarian masses of the world stand with palestine. The rich and exploiting classes stand with Israel. The strength and perseverance of the a palestine solidarity movement is an expression of that crisis of imperialism. The repression of this movement is the states only answer to the anger and anti Imperialist sentiment of the mass of British workers. The Terrorism act 2000 is being used exactly as it was intended: to repress anti imperialist British workers. The TA came from the PTA, a racist piece of legislation used by the British state to criminalise and crush the Irish national liberation struggle. More than 5,000 Predominantly Irish workers were arrested under the PTA. The Soas 2 and RCG’s comrade Sarah were arrested in London and Brighton for speaking in solidarity with palestine under the provisions of the Terrorism act 2000. They will be appearing at the old bailey on Monday September 14th at 9am - 5pm and it is vital that we show them solidarity. Ideally come early. Socialism they were arrested for 1. Correctly stating that under international law the Palestinian people have the right to fight for their liberation, they specifically have the right to bear arms and wage armed struggle (this is not a right that is confined to members of the NRA in the USA!) 2. For changing the word “intifada” - a term meaning uprising or revolution. A term that lite politicians have endless and meaningless debates about, but remains entirely legal and an action that remains the right of any people languishing under oppressive tyranny, from the USA, to Britain, and most definitely to Gaza and the west bank. The emergence of a sovereign Sahel has seriously undermined this arrangement, and France’s imperialist economy is suffering badly as a result. Meanwhile, the desperate attempts to recover this lost paradise are receiving considerable help from France’s imperialist allies. In March, 800 French military personnel arrived in the port of Mombasa aboard three warships.
