Biblical Foods That Fight Inflammation (You've Been Told to Avoid) 18.09.2026 10minFor years, we've heard warnings about bread, carbohydrates, grains, and even natural sweeteners like honey. We're told that bread causes inflammation, grains are bad for us, carbohydrates are the enemy, and foods like honey should be avoided if we want to be healthy. But is the whole story being told? In this video, we take a closer look at bread, honey, and whole grains through a biblical nutrition perspective and ask an important question: If God created these foods, why are we being told they make us sick? The Bible contains numerous references to grains, bread, wheat, honey, fruits, seeds, and other foods. Bread was a staple food throughout biblical times, grains were harvested and eaten, and honey was repeatedly described as a valuable and desirable food. But there's an important distinction we need to make. Not all bread is the same. Not all grains are the same. And the way a food is grown, processed, prepared, and consumed can dramatically change its nutritional qualities. Modern food production has transformed many traditional foods. Today, much of the bread available in grocery stores is made from highly refined flour and may contain added sugars, refined oils, preservatives, emulsifiers, and other ingredients. Whole grains, on the other hand, contain the bran, germ, and endosperm and provide fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial compounds. == Connect with Annette, your Biblical Health Coach! 7 Bible Foods You Should Eat for Blood Sugar Balance 16.09.2026 11minCan you support healthier blood sugar levels in just 3 days? In this episode, we're taking a closer look at simple, whole foods that can fit into a blood-sugar-friendly eating pattern — including avocados, broccoli, cauliflower, fresh herbs, and olives. If you're trying to improve your diet, reduce blood sugar spikes, feel more satisfied after meals, or simply eat more nutritious foods, these ingredients are worth knowing about. Can you really fix your blood sugar in 3 days? It's important to understand that there is no guaranteed food or three-day plan that can permanently "fix" blood sugar problems. Blood glucose responses vary from person to person, and conditions such as prediabetes and diabetes should be managed with guidance from a qualified healthcare professional. == Connect with Annette, your Biblical Health Coach! Want BETTER Health? Start With 2 SIMPLE Biblical Habits 14.09.2026 11minHere are two simple biblical habits that can help you begin making real changes in your physical health, spiritual health, mindset, and daily life. You don't have to change everything at once. Sometimes the biggest transformation begins with one decision—and then another. Step 1: Start Your Day With Amen Day. Before the busyness of the day begins, start your morning by turning your attention toward God. Amen Day is about intentionally beginning your day with God and allowing Him to be part of your thoughts, choices, habits, and priorities. How we begin our day can influence how we live the rest of it. Instead of immediately focusing on problems, responsibilities, food, stress, or everything that needs to get done, we can begin by acknowledging God and inviting Him into our day. Step 2: Decide—and Do It. Knowing what you should do isn't always enough. At some point, you have to make a decision and act on it. Annette explains how biblical examples show us the power of making a decision and following through. Daniel made a decision. Ruth made a decision. Moses made a decision. Jesus made a decision. Their circumstances were different, but they each demonstrate something important: decisions shape direction. When it comes to your health, you may already know many of the things you need to do. You may know you need to eat differently, take better care of your body, make healthier choices, spend more time with God, change a habit, stop putting something off, or become more intentional about how you live. But knowing isn't the same as deciding. And deciding isn't the same as doing. Real change happens when we move from "I know I should" to "I have decided—and I'm going to do it." == Connect with Annette, your Biblical Health Coach! How to FIX Your Hormones & LOSE Weight With the Bible Diet 09.09.2026 9minWhat if the way we eat, move, and care for our bodies has been part of God's design all along? In a world filled with complicated diets, calorie counting, processed foods, and quick-fix promises, the Bible gives us a much simpler perspective on caring for the body God has given us. In this video, we're exploring a biblical approach to healthy weight management and supporting balanced hormones—not through extreme dieting, but through simple principles rooted in Scripture and practical habits that can support overall health. If you've struggled with weight changes, cravings, low energy, or the feeling that your body just isn't responding the way it used to, it may be time to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. God designed our bodies with incredible systems that work together. Our hormones help regulate hunger, fullness, blood sugar, metabolism, stress, sleep, and many other processes. While nutrition and lifestyle are only part of this picture, the foods we regularly eat, how active we are, how we sleep, and how we manage stress can all influence our overall metabolic health. In this teaching, we'll look at 3 biblical eating principles, the role of fasting, and the importance of exercise and movement—and how these practices can help us become better stewards of the bodies God has entrusted to us. The Bible doesn't give us a modern diet plan, but it does provide principles that can guide the way we think about food. We'll explore what it can look like to return to simple, nourishing foods rather than relying heavily on highly processed foods and products that are designed to keep us reaching for more. Eating more foods in their natural or minimally processed form—such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and other nourishing foods—can help us build a healthier foundation. The goal isn't perfection. It's learning to recognize the difference between foods that nourish the body and foods that are easy to overconsume without providing the same nutritional value. We'll also talk about why how we eat matters just as much as what we eat. Slowing down, practicing moderation, being thankful for our food, and becoming more intentional about our choices can completely change our relationship with eating. == Connect with Annette, your Biblical Health Coach! How to Lose Visceral Fat Naturally—Without Starving Yourself 17.08.2026 14minNot all body fat is the same. Does Sugar Feed Cancer? Here's What Science Actually Says 15.07.2026 10minDoes Sugar Feed Cancer? Does sugar really feed cancer? In this episode, Annette separates myth from fact by explaining the difference between natural sugars found in God-made foods and processed sugars created in a lab. She explores how these different sugars affect the body and why the source of your sugar matters. Not All Sugar Is the Same Annette explains that refined sugars found in foods like soda, cakes, cookies, cereals, and other processed products can increase inflammation, spike insulin, and place stress on the body. These are the sugars she encourages people to avoid. Natural Sugars Work Differently Fruits, honey, molasses, and other natural foods also contain sugar, but they come packaged with nutrients, fiber, and compounds that help the body respond differently. Annette shares why these foods should not be grouped together with refined sugars. What Cancer Research Suggests Drawing from the work of Dr. Tony Jimenez and Dr. Max Gerson, Annette discusses how natural sugars may behave differently from processed sugars. She also highlights examples like carrot juice, bananas, and apples, which have been included in nutritional approaches that support overall health. Choose the Foods God Created The takeaway is simple: do not fear the foods God created. Instead, avoid heavily processed sugars and focus on whole, nourishing foods that support the body's natural design. By replacing refined sugars with real foods, you can reduce inflammation, nourish your body, and take another step toward better long-term health. == Connect with Annette, your Biblical Health Coach!
