You are what your environment is. It can heal you or it's going to break you." People keep asking Nina how she moved to Miami to "follow her dreams." This solo episode is the honest version: five settled years in St. Louis with zero plans to leave, the sick years that took her spark for life, the COVID-era conference trip she could barely fathom flying for — and the three days in a winter Airbnb that ended with "you sell our house there, I'll buy our house here." She also gives you the part nobody posts.  What a golden move quietly costs you a few years in: a husband away from his people for the first time, making friends as an adult (the serious clowns before the crew), and the one thing she'd plan for from day one — the summer heat. This episode isn't really about Miami. It's for anyone quietly fading in a life they think they can't leave.   🔔 Subscribe for more elevated conversations: https://www.youtube.com/@ChaiTeawithNinaD 💻 Watch on YouTube 📱 Watch on Spotify 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts

A speaker touring stages around the world, a philanthropist who built a school for 600 children in Guatemala with Pencils of Promise, seven streams of income including a real estate business. I just got back from two weeks in Italy and came home with something stuck in my chest. Two, three, four hours for a meal. A driver who wouldn't eat behind the wheel. A restaurant owner in Positano who put his arm around my husband and told him to sit back down. So this one is about health, but not the way you think. I take you back to 2022, the tingling inside my knee that spread through my whole body in under a minute, and the morning I didn't make it to the end of my block. Five years, no diagnosis. MS, autoimmune, wheelchair in ten years. Two of those years bedridden. I get into the divine square of life, why chronic stress does more damage than the french fries, and the two specific things that got me walking again and then deadlifting 100 pounds within about fifty days. In 2022, 2023, 2024, I couldn't talk for ten minutes on camera without going dizzy or blacking out. I sat here today and did this whole thing in one hour. None of it was food or doctors. It was what I believed about myself, practiced every single day until my body caught up.   🔔 Subscribe for more elevated conversations:  https://www.youtube.com/@ChaiTeawithNinaD  💻 Watch on YouTube  📱 Watch on Spotify  🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts

J Johnson asked me that in the middle of this conversation and I have not stopped thinking about it. The summer before college, insomnia put him in a hospital and he walked out with an ADHD diagnosis. The medication helped his mind and hurt his body, so over a year he traded it for meditation and sound frequencies. Then the meditation turned physical: energy rising from his feet to his crown, and one night the feeling of leaving his body entirely. He came back from that realizing school had taught him everything except how to master his own mind. So before he built anything else, he stopped and studied reality itself. We get into the downloads he receives in meditation, the scarcity programming most of us were raised on, why balance can create abundance, the Ring My Bell abundance frequency trend, and the one mindset he says to install before something breaks. • 3 Years of Peptides: I Had the Muscle Mass of an 80-Year-Old Woman. 16.07.2026 21min
Follow Nina Dixon & CTND for BTS + daily takeaways: https://www.instagram.com/ninapaldixon https://www.instagram.com/chaiteawithninad https://substack.com/profile/183151814-nina-pal-dixon?r=1wzhez&utm_campaign=profile&utm_medium=profile-page Informed, not influenced. Say it before you put anything new into your body. You guys have been asking me to talk about peptides for months, and I'll be honest, I didn't want to. I'm not a doctor, I'm not an expert, and I've been trying to get the godfather of peptides on this show forever (we keep missing each other). But I did peptides for three years, starting back in 2022, before influencers were pushing them on us on Instagram. Doctor-led, through a compounding pharmacy, when I was so sick I had the muscle mass of an 80-year-old woman. So this is my experience. No highlight reel. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN ✅ Exactly which peptides I took and why: BPC 157, KPV, and larazotide, TB500 and TA1, plus CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin  ✅ What cycling actually means and why you can't stay on peptides forever ✅ The first cycle where I felt better than I ever have in my life, and what my doctor said that brought me back to earth ✅ The moment in Singapore my body told me I was done ✅ Why where you source your peptides matters more than which ones you take: a real doctor and a compounding pharmacy, never influencer codes or research-only websites ✅ Why you need blood work and a real doctor, not a self-diagnosis Because here's the real takeaway: peptides were training wheels. They got me from point A to B, but getting from B to E, that was on me. My mindset and my belief that I'd outgrow them is what made them work. A good tool brings you back to yourself and then gets out of the way. One thing I need you to hear: everything I took was prescribed for me by my doctor and compounded for my body. This is my story, not a protocol to copy. I'm not a doctor and this is not medical advice. Get informed, get your blood work, find the right professional, and make the call for your own body. An informed yes and an informed no are both wins.

What if getting cancer at 22 ended up changing your entire life – and was the catalyst building a $120M company? Loren Castle was fresh out of college when she was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's lymphoma. During treatment, she became obsessed with nutrition and realized something was missing from grocery shelves: cookie dough made with clean ingredients that still tasted amazing. With just $25,000, a toaster oven, and a suitcase full of samples, she started Sweet Loren's from her tiny New York City apartment. With passion, grit, intuition, and a mission to make clean, simple ingredients accessible to everyone, Loren persevered and built a brand that, in many ways, is just getting started Today, Sweet Loren's is the #1 natural refrigerated cookie dough brand in America, generating over $120 million annually and sold in more than 35,000 stores including Whole Foods Market, Target, Kroger, and Publix. In this episode, Nina sits down with Loren for an honest conversation about surviving cancer, handling grief, building without investors, staying profitable, balancing motherhood, and proving everyone wrong. Then she walked away from all of it to practice medicine that's 3,000 years old. Dr. Felice Chan is a licensed Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncturist based in Los Angeles. She trained for five years post-grad, spent years inside Western hospital systems doing clinical research, and had her medical school applications ready to go. What she saw in those hospitals, and what happened to her own body, changed everything. And Gabi is still answering every single DM herself. But this isn't just a brand story. It's the story of a woman who spent a decade bouncing through entertainment, real estate, Paris, and Pilates — not lost, but quietly building the foundation for something she couldn't name yet. Until her body broke down and a doctor asked the right questions. Until she started making dates in her kitchen just to have a dessert she could actually eat. Until her best friend said: this should be a business. One month later, they were at a farmer's market with no plan and no packaging. They sold out in three hours and made $1,500.
