  • #406 Responding to the Backlash: Grifting, Manipulation & Biblical Forgiveness 15.09.2026 49min
After my recent appearance on Alex Clark’s Culture Apothecary, the backlash came fast. Candace Owens featured clips from our conversation on her show, accusations of “Christian grifting” started flying, and a discussion about biblical forgiveness sparked a firestorm of its own.In this episode, I’m responding—not to every insult or comment, but to some of the bigger issues underneath the controversy. What does the Bible actually mean by forgiveness? Does forgiveness require repentance? What should Christians make of Jesus’ words, “Father, forgive them”? And how do we distinguish biblical forgiveness from simply releasing bitterness or resentment?I also take a closer look at what I call “confident mocking”—when ridicule, accusations about motives, and sheer certainty can masquerade as an argument. We’ll talk about conspiracy culture, intuition versus objective truth, the burden of proof, and why “asking questions” doesn’t automatically make a claim reasonable or true. Most importantly, how can Christians practice real discernment without becoming mockers ourselves? Finally, I respond to a couple of questions from recent episodes about deconstruction, including the relationship between faith in Christ and faith in Scripture—and why our ultimate foundation must be the person and authority of Jesus Christ. At the end of the day, this isn’t about winning an internet fight. It’s about truth, humility, discernment, and keeping the gospel of Jesus Christ at the center of everything. My content on Candace and Conspiracy: https://youtu.be/WT_9waRkns4?si=Xkgn3DZ4hA-pvPqOhttps://youtu.be/KjfHRo8QwJ4?si=VRsmyckf6-gFNvqlhttps://youtu.be/M0doH-g6BAE?si=xSeJthUuVad6NEVqMy episodes on biblical forgiveness: https://youtu.be/XmcG8HFftic?si=yTH8UvE-aJ7nljMzhttps://youtu.be/pa1vWAgph8w?si=XPI2lRWOO0PiaWKT-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISABRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #405 Why They Left Christianity: Analyzing Real Deconstruction Stories | Matt Schmidt 13.09.2026 1t 11min
In Part 1 of my conversation with Matt Schmidt, we explored his argument that many deconstruction stories reveal a deeper problem: faith that was ultimately built on something other than the person and authority of Jesus Christ. In Part 2, we put that thesis to the test by watching and analyzing real deconstruction stories posted online. We hear from former Christians whose faith unraveled over questions about morality, the Word of Faith movement, biblical criticism, the Epic of Gilgamesh, the nature of faith, and more. With each story, we ask four important questions: What was their faith originally built on? What caused the first crack? What replaced that foundation? And was Jesus himself ever really the problem?Along the way, Matt and I discuss why Christianity must ultimately be grounded in the person, work, and authority of Jesus Christ—and why understanding what someone is actually rejecting may be crucial to helping those who are deconstructing reconsider the faith they left behind.Webinar Registration: https://www.e360m.org/alisa Fall Training offerings (including the Deconstruction Discussion group): https://www.e360m.org/fall2026E360 Store with shirts meant to spark conversations: https://e360.printify.me/-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good. Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISARANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #404 The REAL Reason Christians Deconstruct | Matt Schmidt 10.09.2026 1t 12min
Why do people really deconstruct their Christian faith? Church hurt, hypocrisy, doubts about the Bible, science, sexuality, and politics may trigger a crisis—but what if they aren’t the root cause? After years of studying deconstruction stories and having thousands of conversations about Christianity, apologetics, and evangelism, Matt Schmidt has noticed a striking pattern: often, the faith that eventually collapses wasn’t actually built on the unique authority of Jesus in the first place. In this episode, Matt joins Alisa to unpack what happens when our faith is built on a pastor, church, parents, personal experience, theological system—or even the need to have every difficult biblical question resolved. They discuss why Jesus’ life, miracles, death, and resurrection must be the foundation, how His authority grounds our confidence in Scripture, and how parents and churches can help Christians build a faith sturdy enough to withstand serious questions and doubt.Webinar Registration: www.e360m.org/alisa Fall Training offerings (including the Deconstruction Discussion group): www.e360m.org/fall2026E360 Store with shirts meant to spark conversations: https://e360.printify.me/-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #403 Evidence Against Point Loma Nazarene University (Part 2) | Noah and Ashley Shaw 06.09.2026 1t 31min
In Part 1, former Point Loma Nazarene University students Noah and Ashley Shaw shared their firsthand experiences with progressive Christianity on campus. In Part 2, we bring the receipts. We examine what PLNU publicly claims to believe and compare it with what professors are actually teaching, publishing, promoting, and platforming. From PLNU connections to Queering Wesley, Queering the Church, to professors contributing to a book arguing that the Nazarene Church should become fully LGBTQ+ affirming, to academic work incorporating transgender identities and abortion into discussions of motherhood, the evidence raises serious questions about how deep the theological drift goes. And because every PLNU student is required to take multiple theology courses, Noah and Ashley argue that these influences aren't confined to some obscure corner of campus. We also investigate progressive churches connected to PLNU faculty, controversial chapel speakers, process theology, and what happens when Christian leaders refuse to confront false teaching. If you're a Christian parent considering PLNU, a current student, or anyone concerned about theological drift in Christian institutions, this is an episode you don't want to miss.Links: Professor Stephanie Smith-Matthews’ dissertation: https://irbe.library.vanderbilt.edu/server/api/core/bitstreams/c859c543-a780-44bc-81c6-87a4d1e96313/contentPLNU Professors sermons from Normal Heights United Methodist Church: https://nhunited.org/podcast/guest-preacher-dr-stephanie-smith-matthews/https://nhunited.org/podcast/guest-preacher-dr-stephanie-matthews/https://nhunited.org/podcast/guest-preacher-rev-dr-montague-williams/Former PLNU Professors contributed chapters to "Why the Church of the Nazarene Should Be Fully LGBTQ+ Affirming" https://www.amazon.com/dp/1948609940?lv=shuf&bestFormat=true&social_share=cm_sw_r_ffobk_cp_ud_dp_KXF7X3K5943WDX4ZVY6S&channelId=704&ref_=cm_sw_r_ffobk_cp_ud_dp_KXF7X3K5943WDX4ZVY6S&plpRedirect=mhFallbackProfessor Jennifer Guerra-Aldana showcasing Friere’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed https://www.instagram.com/p/C1FqdW4SlMs/Normal Heights United Methodist Church: https://www.google.com/url?q=http://nhunited.org&sa=D&source=docs&ust=1788670911469458&usg=AOvVaw1mPi42U1uFGQcBWsAJI4NCSong added to NHUMC for Pride season: https://nhunited.org/news/new-song-added-to-worship-this-pride-season/Noah Shaw, "The Apostasy of Normal Heights United Methodist Church: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49TBuVUSL8EPart 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdWw1SSOVt8&feature=youtu.beCatherine Keller for Wiley Lectures: https://lomabeat.com/catherine-keller-explores-intersection-of-faith-and-creation-at-wiley-lectures/Dean of Students Jason Cha's dissertation, "The Raging Waters of Whiteness: Addressing White Evangelical Racism in Higher Education" https://www.proquest.com/docview/2851748156/fulltextPDF?%20Theses&parentSessionId=Z1WICa5WdtrbTyM38ZAL2L5fwHrHZXkopllLyBqupdo%3D&pq-origsite=primo&sourcetype=Dissertations%20-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISARANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #402 Skillet’s John and Korey Cooper Break Their Silence About NAR & Church Abuse 02.09.2026 2t 31min
For the first time, John and Korey Cooper of the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum rock band Skillet are breaking their silence about the church abuse that devastated their family and turned their community against them. For years, the Coopers were deeply embedded in Korey’s lifelong church, never realizing that its leadership embraced beliefs and practices associated with the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). Those beliefs weren't clearly disclosed, but as John and Korey began to understand what was really being taught and practiced behind the scenes, they started asking questions—and everything changed. What followed were prophetic words, accusations, pressure to submit to spiritual authority, fractured family relationships, and efforts to turn members of their own community against them. With Korey’s brother-in-law serving as the church’s “apostle” and her father remaining an elder, walking away came at an enormous personal cost.We also examine the theology and practices of the NAR, the dangers of unaccountable spiritual authority, how prophetic claims can be used to manipulate people, and what happens when questioning church leaders is treated as questioning God.In this raw and deeply personal conversation, John and Korey take us into their darkest moments—how spiritual abuse shook their faith, what kept them from walking away from Jesus, and what anchored them when everything else fell apart.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISASEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISAALLIANCE FAMILY SERVICESAlliance Family Services is a Gospel-centered organization that relentlessly advocates forpreborn children, women, and families by providing exceptional reproductive healthcare, Biblical discipleship, and social support.Go to www.alliancefamilyservices.org for more information----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/

  • #400 Radical Islam, LGBTQ Ideology, Marxism & The Agenda That Unites Them | Frank Turek & Phoenix Hayes 27.08.2026 1t 3min
What do radical Islam, LGBTQ ideology, cultural Marxism, socialism, and the Democratic Party have in common? On the surface, their beliefs—and even their ultimate goals—can radically contradict one another. So why do they so often end up politically and culturally aligned? In this episode, Alisa sits down with Frank Turek and Phoenix Hayes, authors of The War on Reality: Recovering Truth in a World That Celebrates Lies, to expose the worldview underneath some of the strangest alliances shaping our culture. They unpack the oppressed-vs.-oppressor framework of cultural Marxism, the growing influence of radical Islam, the algorithm’s role in distorting how we see reality, and why Christians can’t simply retreat from cultural and political battles. At the center of it all is a much bigger question: What happens to a culture when objective truth is replaced by “your truth” and “my truth”? Frank and Phoenix argue that the war on reality didn’t begin with politics—it begins with the question, “Has God really said?”This conversation is provocative, funny, and deadly serious—and a challenge to Christians to know what they believe, recognize the ideologies competing for our culture, refuse to stay silent, and stand firmly on the ultimate source of truth: Christ.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISAFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA ----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/

Michael Jones and his family were doxxed and threatened for publicly challenging Islam. Their personal information was exposed, the threats became serious enough that they had to move—and Michael refused to be silenced. In this episode, Michael, creator of Inspiring Philosophy, joins me for a crash course on what Christians need to know about the threat of radical Islam. We unpack the origins of Islam, Muhammad and the Quran, the Hadith, Islam’s treatment of women, its political dimensions, what Muslims believe about Jesus and Allah, and why Michael believes Christians need to understand what Islam’s foundational texts actually teach.Michael shares practical ways Christians can engage Muslim friends and neighbors, challenge the Islamic worldview, and ultimately point Muslims to the gospel of Jesus Christ.Islam is growing. • #398 Black Lives, Abortion, and the Racism No One Wants to Talk About | Ryan Bomberger 20.08.2026 56min
Ryan Bomberger came ready to challenge sacred cows and say the things many Christians are afraid to say.Conceived in rape and placed for adoption, Ryan has called himself “the 1% used to justify 100% of abortions.” Now, as founder of the Radiance Foundation and author of Should Have Been Aborted, he has spent decades fighting for the dignity of every human life.In this episode, Ryan holds nothing back as we dig into the surprising intersection of abortion, racism, and critical race theory. Why does CRT teach us to scrutinize racial disparities throughout American society, while the enormous racial disparity in abortion receives comparatively little attention? And what happens when churches adopt secular frameworks for understanding race instead of beginning with Scripture? Ryan argues that Christians have allowed fear of being labeled “racist” to silence them—and directly challenges some of the books, movements, and ideas that have shaped the evangelical conversation about race since 2020.We also turn the spotlight on the pro-life movement itself. Ryan doesn’t give Republicans a pass, criticizing what he sees as the GOP’s retreat on abortion and the Trump administration’s weaknesses on key life issues. But this conversation isn’t just about politics. It’s about the church. Ryan challenges Christians who are so concerned with being “winsome” that they become afraid to confront lies, defend the vulnerable, or risk being called names. He explains why speaking the truth in love sometimes requires courage, clarity, and a willingness to be unpopular. This is a provocative, practical conversation about abortion, race, courage, and what it looks like to be beholden to no one but God and His Word.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:WE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com  for more information.Use my code: ALISAIMPACT 360REALIGN CONFERENCE hosted by Impact 360 InstituteSeptember 10, 2026 in Newnan, GA.Go to www.impact360.org  for more information.Use the code PODCAST for $15 offRANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #397 Do Christians Have to Forgive Everyone? Answering Biggest Objections to Conditional Forgiveness | Teasi Cannon 16.08.2026 1t 11min
Few topics generate more emotional pushback among Christians than forgiveness. Are Christians required to forgive everyone—even when the person who hurt them refuses to repent? And if forgiveness is conditional, does that contradict Jesus’ command to forgive? In this episode, I sit down again with Teasi Cannon, author of Counterfeit Forgiveness: How a Modern Myth Betrays Victims, Protects Abusers, and Corrupts the Gospel, to respond to the biggest objections to the conditional view of biblical forgiveness. We tackle passages like Mark 11:25 and Jesus’ prayer from the cross, “Father, forgive them,” and ask whether requiring repentance makes forgiveness transactional. We also discuss how to recognize genuine repentance and what happens when an offender never repents, is unavailable, has died, or is unsafe. Most importantly, we address the concern at the heart of this debate: Does conditional forgiveness leave victims trapped in bitterness or unable to heal? Teasi explains why rejecting therapeutic forgiveness does not mean holding onto bitterness, refusing to love your enemies, or abandoning healing—and why forgiveness, reconciliation, restoration, justice, and trust need to be understood as distinct biblical categories. Is conditional forgiveness really a new or fringe idea—or has therapeutic culture reshaped the way many Christians understand forgiveness? This conversation goes straight to Scripture to ask what God actually requires of us when we’ve been sinned against.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:SEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISAFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISAIMPACT 360REALIGN CONFERENCE hosted by Impact 360 InstituteSeptember 10, 2026 in Newnan, GA.Go to www.impact360.org  for more information.Use the code PODCAST for $15 off----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #396 She’s 18—And She’s Changing Minds About Abortion | Ava Calhoun 13.08.2026 1t 9min
At just 18 years old, Ava Calhoun is taking a microphone to college campuses and city streets to ask strangers a simple question: When do you think life begins? And remarkably, she’s actually changing minds. Several people who entered conversations with her holding pro-choice views have walked away persuaded of the pro-life position. In this episode, Ava joins me to break down what she’s learned from having face-to-face conversations about abortion: how to ask good questions, how to respond to the arguments she hears over and over, and how to remain calm and respectful when the person on the other side is hostile. We also talk about why curiosity can be more effective than trying to score a “gotcha,” how to handle questions you don’t know how to answer, and why Christians shouldn’t measure the success of a conversation solely by whether someone changes their mind on the spot. Then we put those strategies to the test by reacting to viral TikToks making some of today’s most common arguments for abortion—including claims that the Bible never condemns abortion, that life begins at first breath, and that Christians and pastors can be pro-choice.This is an especially important episode to share with teenagers and young adults. Ava demonstrates that you don’t need to be an expert or have a theology degree to make a difference. You can learn to think clearly, ask good questions, speak the truth with courage and gentleness—and maybe even change someone’s mind.To register for Share the Arrows: sharethearrows.com CODE ALISA15Teen Study for Another Gospel Student Edition: https://centerforbiblicalunity.breezechms.com/form/Childers-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISASEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/

  • #394 The Case FOR Equal Protection for the Preborn | Ginna Cross 26.07.2026 1t 14min
In Part 2 of our series on equal protection for the preborn, Alisa sits down with Ginna Cross, co-CEO of Alliance Family Services, to hear the case for why equal protection should be pursued now—not later. Grounded in a deep conviction that Scripture demands equal justice for every human being made in God's image, Ginna argues that Christians should advocate for laws that protect preborn children the same way they protect every other innocent person.Together, Alisa and Jenna discuss:What "equal protection" actually meansWhy some pro-life leaders oppose equal protection legislationThe biblical case for equal protectionCommon objections, including concerns about criminalizing womenWhat happened behind the scenes with equal protection bills in Tennessee and other statesThe differences—and similarities—between the pro-life and abolition movementsWhy this debate matters for Christians who want to think biblically about justice, law, and the sanctity of human lifeWhether you agree with Scott Klusendorf's strategic concerns from Part 1 or with the arguments presented by Ginna Cross in this episode, this two-part series is designed to help you hear the strongest case from each perspective so you can think through one of the most significant debates in the pro-life movement today.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:A'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good. Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #393 Should Christians Support Equal Protection for the Preborn? A Friendly Debate with Scott Klusendorf 23.07.2026 1t 11min
Equal protection for the preborn has become one of the biggest and most divisive debates in the pro-life movement. Everyone agrees abortion ends the life of an innocent human being. Everyone wants to see abortion end. The disagreement is over how Christians should get there. In this episode, Alisa sits down with pro-life apologist Scott Klusendorf for a thoughtful and friendly debate about whether pursuing equal protection legislation right now is the best path forward.Scott argues that while equal protection is the right destination, pushing for it today could actually undermine the pro-life movement and cost lives. Alisa, who supports equal protection, challenges his position while seeking to understand the strongest case against it.Topics include:What equal protection actually meansIncrementalism vs. abolitionShould women ever be prosecuted for abortion?Lessons from William Wilberforce and the abolition of slaveryWhy worldview—not just politics—is at the heart of the abortion debateWhether pursuing equal protection now is wise or prematureNext week, Ginna Cross joins the podcast to make the case for equal protection and explain why she believes it is the only consistent application of justice for the unborn.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:BRAVE BOOKSEntertainment that Engages the Imagination for Good.  Go to www.bravebooks.com/childers for more informationUse my code: CHILDERSRANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics. Experience the difference in quality and purity. Go to www.adelnaturalcosmetics.com for more information. Use my code: ALISA ----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #392 Frank Turek Responds to Candace Owens' Claims | Frank Turek 19.07.2026 1t 4min
Charlie Kirk's assassination sparked an explosion of conspiracy theories. Many of those claims, amplified by Candace Owens, have accused eyewitnesses, Charlie's friends, and even TPUSA of participating in a massive cover-up.In this episode, Frank Turek responds directly.Frank was with Charlie the day he was murdered. He rode with him to the hospital. He has also become one of the primary targets of these accusations. We examine the biggest claims one by one:Was there really drone footage?Did Frank change his story about his cell phone?Did he perform CPR?What does credible eyewitness testimony actually look like? Why should Christians care about conspiracy theories? This conversation goes beyond one tragic event. It's about truth, evidence, discernment, and the biblical responsibility to reject slander, baseless accusations, and defend those who are being unjustly attacked.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:GOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISAALLIANCE FAMILY SERVICESAlliance Family Services is a Gospel-centered organization that relentlessly advocates forpreborn children, women, and families by providing exceptional reproductive healthcare, Biblical discipleship, and social support.Go to www.alliancefamilyservices.org for more informationFOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #391 Busting the Biggest Myths About Complementarianism | Denny Burk 12.07.2026 1t 7min
Was Phoebe the first female preacher? Was Junia an apostle? Can women preach, teach, or host Christian podcasts? These questions are fueling some of the biggest debates in evangelicalism today. In this episode, Denny Burk joins me to separate biblical complementarianism from the caricatures. We tackle the Al Mohler controversy, the real meaning of 1 Timothy 2, whether Phoebe preached Romans, whether Junia was an apostle, and how Christians should think about women in ministry without going beyond—or falling short of—what Scripture teaches.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:WE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAAMBASSADORS FOR BIBLICAL JUSTICEEquipping Christians to live out their faith with courage, conviction, and compassion - tackling today's cultural challenges through a distinctly biblical lens.Go to www.centerforbiblicalunity.com/ambassador for more information.Mention Alisa’s podcast on your application for 15% off your tuition.RANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”: www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth": www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #390 My Honest Review of Jen Wilkin's Women of the Word + How to Study the Bible 09.07.2026 1t
Is Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin a reliable guide for learning how to study the Bible? With more than 250,000 copies sold, Women of the Word has become one of the most widely recommended books on Bible study for Christian women. But does it offer a biblically sound approach to interpreting Scripture? In this episode, I take an in-depth look at Jen Wilkin's bestselling book, examining its central claims, evaluating its approach to hermeneutics, and comparing its teaching with biblical principles for handling God's Word.Along the way, we'll discuss:Why it's important to ask what a passage meant before asking what it means for us.The relationship between the mind, the heart, and spiritual transformation.Common mistakes Christians make when studying the Bible. Why context matters—and why Scripture must interpret Scripture. The difference between description and prescription in biblical narratives. How our view of the Bible shapes the way we read it.Practical principles that can help you grow in biblical literacy.I'll also share several of my own Bible study tips, recommend additional resources for going deeper, and explain why sound Bible study matters for every Christian.Whether you're just beginning to study the Bible or you've been reading it for years, this episode will challenge you to think more carefully about how we approach God's Word.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:FOUNDATION WORLDVIEWFoundation Worldview creates curriculum series that will empower your child to thinkBiblically in a deceptive world. Go to www.foundationworldview.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAGOOD RANCHERSAmerican Meat DeliveredGo to https://go.goodranchers.com/alisa for more information.Use my code: ALISASEVEN WEEKS COFFEETaste the Coffee that is Saving Lives.Go to http://www.sevenweekscoffee.com/ for more information.Use my code: ALISA----------------------------------------------------------------------Booking: www.alisachilders.com/bookingTo help in your study of the Bible: www.logos.com/alisaTo Purchase the new CD, “Beauty from the Ash”, go to www.alisachilders.com/musicThere you can get the CD, backing tracks, string charts, rhythm charts and stems.Support us on Patreon:  www.patreon.com/alisachildersTo order “Another Gospel”:  www.alisachilders.com/another-gospel/To order “Live Your Truth":  www.alisachilders.com/live-your-truth-and-other-lies/To order “The Deconstruction of Christianity”: https://alisachilders.com/the-deconstruction-of-christianity/Potential Sponsors: https://alisachilders.com/sponsor-request-form/
  • #389 God Healed Her of Cancer. Why Doesn't He Heal Everyone? | Corley Spell 05.07.2026 1t 5min
What do you do when you pray for healing...and God says yes? What do you do when He says not yet—or not in the way you hoped? In this episode, I sit down with Corley Spell, co-founder of Good Ranchers, to hear the remarkable story of her battle with melanoma. Diagnosed while pregnant with her fourth child, pressured to abort her baby, and later facing a life-threatening recurrence that left her bedridden, Corley shares how God met her in the darkest moments of her journey.Together, we wrestle with some of the hardest questions Christians ask:Does God still perform miracles today? Why does God heal some people but not others?Should Christians pray for physical healing? How do we trust God when the answer isn't what we hoped for? What does it look like to surrender completely to God's will while still believing Him for a miracle? This is not a formula for healing or a blueprint for medical decisions. Every cancer journey is different, and Corley repeatedly encourages listeners to work closely with qualified medical professionals and seek the Lord's wisdom for their own circumstances.Whether you're walking through cancer yourself, caring for someone who is, or simply wrestling with questions about suffering, faith, and God's sovereignty, I hope this conversation encourages you to trust the Lord—whatever His answer may be.-----------------------------------------------------------------This video is sponsored by:RANGE LEATHERAmerican-Made Craftsmanship from WyomingGo to www.rangeleather.com for more informationUse my code: ALISAWE HEART NUTRITIONFrom Our Family to Yours, Whole Supplements for Every Age and Stage.Go to http://www.weheartnutrition.com for more information.Use my code: ALISAA'DEL NATURAL COSMETICSElevate your skincare routine with A'del's toxin-free cosmetics.

What if the biggest threat behind today's alien obsession isn't extraterrestrial at all?Steven Spielberg's Disclosure Day has people asking questions about God, creation, and whether discovering intelligent life would shatter the Christian worldview. But would it?In this episode, I review the film, respond to its biggest theological claims, explore what the Bible actually says about extraterrestrial life, and explain why the existence of aliens wouldn't undermine Christianity. Then, former occultist Jac Marino joins me to share her chilling story of what she once believed were alien encounters, including abduction experiences, channeling, and supernatural phenomena. Today, she believes those experiences were real, but not extraterrestrial.Could the modern fascination with UFOs and "the grays" be pointing to something far more spiritual?
