Each week, Joe Devine and Adam Richmond discuss a different film that they've seen before but forgotten existed. They explore cinema, memory, culture, and history, and play silly games about cheese, budgets, and recasting. Listeners needn't have seen the film, but are welcome to watch or rewatch before episodes for a different perspective. At the end of each show, they read out forgotten film lists to each other to find the film for next week's episode.

  • 154: The End of Oak Street, Not Garden State 16.09.2026 1t 13min
Find out Joe’s rubbish excuses for not having watched Garden State. Never mind, because the pair had still watched some other movies/films that they chatted about instead.Mainly, The End of Oak Street. Why is David Robert Mitchell’s 80s-inflected Amblin-style popcorn blockbuster getting so many shrugs?Joe likes football, and he’s seen a sort of football based documentary - The Last Resident of the Holloway Motel. Also on the docket: a bit on the latest Spiderman (Brand New Day!) and Joe’s finally seen Before The Devil Knows Your Dead. Did he like it?Cul-de-sac chats veer off into strip club territory. Excuses and reasons aplenty.Got a film you forgot you forgot? Join our growing Discord community and tell us all about it: https://discord.gg/WjE2H22ZWk Or send us an email at [email protected] with your thoughts, episode suggestions, or just some light praise. You can also follow Adam @errorofways on Letterboxd; he rates and reviews the films he watches. Also, be a pal: tell your chums, subscribe, rate us, review us, shout our name into the void - whatever helps spread the word.

The 2002 action thriller, The Bourne Identity got forgot; really? Adam says so, says he’s a Supremacy guy… but what of the Doug Liman director first one, scripted by Tony Gilroy? What are the best bits? Who would we be if we got Bourned? Who is Jason Bourne? Who is a good recast for a modern (baby) Bourne? All this and more!Got a film you forgot you forgot? Join our growing Discord community and tell us all about it: https://discord.com/invite/b3CUUdPRf7Or send us an email at [email protected] with your thoughts, episode suggestions, or just some light praise. You can also follow Adam @errorofways on Letterboxd; he rates and reviews the films he watches. Also, be a pal: tell your chums, rate us, review us, shout our name into the void - whatever helps spread the word

And how big is Joe's new lamp?
  • 150: The Fifth Element, Gary Oldman and Django 19.08.2026 1t 24min
How much is there to say about 1997’s The Fifth Element, beyond the great production design and some fun performances… not a whole lot it turns out. There’s the Gary Oldman Game though, and who won acting Oscar chat, and there is a prolonged diversion into Django Unchained.Got a film you forgot you forgot? Join our growing Discord community and tell us all about it: https://discord.com/invite/b3CUUdPRf7Or send us an email at [email protected] with your thoughts, episode suggestions, or just some light praise. You can also follow Adam @errorofways on Letterboxd; he rates and reviews the films he watches. Also, be a pal: tell your chums, rate us, review us, shout our name into the void - whatever helps spread the word.

  • 148: Grogu, Supergirl, Savage House et al: What We Watched 05.08.2026 1t 12min
Joe and Adam muse over films they’ve seen recently, focusing on a shoddy trip to the cinema for 500 Miles. Plus Supergirl gets both barrels for its approach to covers, Mando & Grogu splits opinion and Savage House gets some heady praise. But it’s not really about the movies (or films) is it? It’s the fun in between.Got a film you forgot you forgot? Join our growing Discord community and tell us all about it : https://discord.gg/b3CUUdPRf7Or send us an email at [email protected] with your thoughts, episode suggestions, or just some light praise. You can also follow Adam @errorofways on Letterboxd; he rates and reviews the films he watches. Also, be a pal: tell your chums, rate us, review us, leave a comment - something to do with algorithms.

  • 145: The Seventh Seal: Joe Made Me Watch; plus Scrat’s Woes 15.07.2026 40min
Some films carry a weight: it’s a classic; it’s a masterpiece, it’s a classic masterpiece. Ingmar Bergman’s The Seventh Seal is one such film, and Joe loves it. Till now, it’s never felt like the right time for Adam to dally with Bergman. Now Joe has made him watch a Knight play chess with Death. This episode comes with no weight, it’s a tale of a man, a film and a rusty nail.Got a film you forgot you forgot? Join our growing Discord community and tell us all about it: https://discord.gg/b3CUUdPRf7Or send us an email at [email protected] with your thoughts, episode suggestions, or just some light praise. You can also follow Adam @errorofways on Letterboxd; he rates and reviews the films he watches. Also, be a pal: tell your chums, rate us, review us, shout our name into the void - whatever helps spread the word.
