Pray that when people think of us, they think of someone who is seeking to honor God and speak biblical truth even in hard days.Unreached of the Day:Our unreached people group of the day is the Northern Wakatobi people of Indonesia.  The Wakatobi live on a small island with volcanic soil, which is great for farming.  But since the island is very remote, it has made it difficult for the Wakatobi to hear about Jesus. Pray that missionaries would go to the Wakatobi people and tell them the good news of Jesus.

  Today, we're looking at Acts 5.Discussion Questions:Why do you think there was such harsh punishment for Ananias and Sapphira's sin of lying?  Was this a just consequence?Peter said, “We must obey God rather than men.”  What does this mean?  What are some areas of your life that you might be trying to win the approval of others instead of trying to honor God?Prayer Prompt:Today, spend some time praying that we would honor God even when it’s difficult. Pray that we would overflow with the truth of the gospel on all who would listen! And pray that EVEN if suffering comes, we will obey God rather than man.Unreached of the Day:Our unreached people group of the day is Kalabaz people of India.  The name of this people groups translates to the word “acrobat” and that’s exactly what many of these people are!  However, most of the Kalabaz people are very poor and unable to read.  This makes it challenging for this group of people group to read the Bible in their language.  Pray that God would send missionaries to these people to tell them about the good news of Jesus dying for them and raising back to life!

  Today, we're looking at Acts 4.Discussion Questions:Acts 4 says that the religious leaders could tell that Peter and John had been with Jesus. Is there evidence in your own life that you have been with Jesus in prayer and reading His Word?Peter and John said they couldn’t help but tell people what they had seen and heard God do. What are some things in your own life that you have seen and heard God do and need to tell others?Prayer Prompt:Today, let’s pray that we would be changed by being with Jesus ourselves. Pray that as we study the Word, our words and actions would be transformed by being together with Jesus on a daily basis.Unreached of the Day:Our unreached people group of the day is the Aluo people of China.  The Aluo people live scattered across the mountains of Western China.  They provide for their families through raising livestock and farming.  The Aluo people hold a festival every 12 years in which they worship the trees among their villages.  Pray that the Aluo people would come to know the Creator of those trees and worship him as Creator rather than worshipping his creation.

Pray that we would be bold to tell people, “It’s Jesus that changed me! And He can change you too if you follow Him!”Unreached People of the Day:Today, we want to pray for the people of Acuna, Mexico. We actually travelled to this area recently and saw the need for Jesus. Although just across the border of the United States, it is so different from America.  Many children don’t have the opportunity to get an education and the disabled are often abandoned and left in the streets. Although many people in Acuna might claim to be Catholic, very few have a personal relationship with Jesus.  Pray today for the children of Acuna, that they would hear the good news of Jesus through local Christian school and it would transform families and their community.

Which one do you think our family does best, and which one could we grow in?Prayer Prompt:Today, pray that we would all rely on the Holy Spirit to work in our lives and in the lives of the people around us! Pray that we would be bold to tell everyone about Jesus!Our unreached people group of the day is the Fanda people of Sudan.  The Fanda live in nine villages in a very remote part of Sudan. They raise cattle, sheep, and goats. During and after the rainy season, the Fanda have special access to fresh cow's milk, which they drink hot, fresh off charcoal fires. They have no known schools or health facilities.  Pray today that the good news of Jesus would reach this remote people group and radically change their community.

These people have endured much suffering as they have been moved from their original homes because of war.  The Yagnobi people are Muslims who believe in the false god, Allah, who is distant. Pray that the Yagnobi people would hear about the One True God who wants a personal relationship with them.

How do you think they felt when they discovered He was alive?How does knowing that Jesus defeated death change the way we should think about our fears?Prayer Prompt:Today, pray that Jesus would work in and through us. Pray that we would believe that He can do the work in the world around us AND that we would be obedient to go and do what He has told every believer to do.Unreached People of the Day:Our Unreached people group of the day is the Barua people of Bangladesh.   The  Barua people are known throughout their region for being fantastic chefs!  Most of the  Barua people are Buddhist but recently many of the people are turning to Hinduism. Pray that the Bahrooah people would have a spiritual hunger for the Lord.  Pray that instead of seeking false gods that the  Barua people would hear about the One True God and His Son Jesus and place their trust in Him.

Pray that they will have access to Bibles and other resources that tell them about the gospel.Pray for their families and communities to have better living conditions, good schools for their children, and more opportunities for adults to find meaningful work.

They are considered the largest Muslim tribal society in the world. There are 34 million Pashtun peoples around the world but very few of them believe in Jesus. Pray today that God would call people to go to the Pashtun people and share the gospel no matter the cost.

Pray that you would be bold to take the gospel to people who are lost and in need of the Hope you have.Unreached People of the Day:Our Unreached people group of the day is the Vafsi people of Iran. The Vafsi people are a very small group of people living in the mountains of Iran.  Although they are a small group, they have their own language.  Currently, there is not a Bible translated into this language. Pray that the Bible would be translated into their language. Also, pray for protection for Vafsi believers. It is illegal for a Vafsi person who is Muslim to become a Christian.  Pray that these believers would be wise yet bold in their faith.

Pray that the Gajal people would hear about the grace found in Jesus Christ, a gift which cannot be earned.

Nepal recently had some very destructive floods and landslides. Pray that God would be near to the Nepali people in this time of great sadness and provide peace. Pray for rescue teams, doctors and nurses as they help those who are injured and missing. Pray that believers in Nepal would use this opportunity to be a light for Jesus in the darkness.

Pray that God would raise up brave Tocho believers who are willing to believe in Jesus no matter the cost.  Pray for protection and God’s provisions for Tocho believers in Sudan.

Ask God to convict you and give you the power to overcome and kill that sin.Unreached People Group of the DayThe Tumbatu Swahili people live in a coastal area, working primarily as fishermen and growing seaweed.  These people are Muslim, meaning they don’t believe that Jesus was the Son of God.  Instead they just believe he was a prophet.  As we have seen in today’s reading, Jesus proved He was God’s Son through many miracles.  Pray that Christians would be obedient to go to the Tumbatu Swahili people to share about who Jesus was.  Pray that there would even today that the Tumbatu Swahili would have dreams and see miracles to know that Jesus is God’s Son.

Others work in the mines. The Kumbewaha grow cloves, cocoa beans, coconuts, peppers, and red rice, which is very popular for its health benefits.The Kumbewahas are Muslim, and there are probably no Christ followers among them. They will need to hear of Christ's glory from an outsider, whom they are less likely to trust than someone in their own community.

Pray today that Christians would be faithful to go share the good news of Jesus with the Didoi people and that His grace would completely transform their people group.

In a caste, people are born into a group and that determines what kind of job they have.  For the most part, the Nai people don’t get to grow up and choose a job to have… instead their job is determined by the family they are born into.  So most of the Nai men work as barbers or dentists. Imagine going to the same person for a haircut and to fill a cavity?! Most of the Nai women work in jobs related to weddings, specifically doing henna (which is painting on the skin).  Almost all of the Nai people are Hindu, meaning they believe in hundreds of false gods.  Pray that they would know that the God of the whole universe values all groups of people and sent his son to die for all people.

Buddhism teaches that life includes suffering and difficulties, and people can find peace by learning to let go of selfish desires, treating others with kindness, and doing good deeds.  The Bible teaches us  no matter how many good things we do, we will never do enough to have peace that lasts forever.  True and eternal peace is only found in Jesus. Pray today that the Chaungtha people people would trust in Jesus rather than their good works.

More than 5 million Mongol people live in this extremely cold region of the world. Many of them herd animals and ride horses as part of their daily lives. Less than 1% of Mongol people follow Jesus, and most practice Buddhism.
