Mr C, who did not die, meets up with Chantal and her husband, tells them to kill the warden and two people in Vegas, and texts a spooky phrase to…gasp! Diane!Speaking of, Diane and the feds go to Buckhorn, South Dakota, where they learn a bunch of crazy clues from the Garland Briggs body and from Bill Hastings, who it turns out was a pivotal stone on the path to floating head the whole time!As for the other investigators, Bobby, Hawk and Truman get a BIG CLUE: turns out Garland Briggs, in between Mr C’s visit and “dying”(??) in the fire, gave his wife a prophetic message inside a ringing metal container, that tells them to go to a specific place in the woods in 2 days. MYSTERIES ABOUND!Meanwhile: Dougie, who by the way seems to have not existed before 1997, gets his dna taken by “the coffee gambit”, then gets emotional about America and red shoes. Ike the Spike gets arrested. Lucy and Andy get a new chair. Ben Horne REALLY isn't fucking his secretary. Jerry Horne's foot is not his foot. Johnny Horne (although you could barely know it was him) runs into a wall. And last but not least, two girls at the roadhouse talk about getting fired for being high, a zebra, and a penguin.⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 8: "Gotta light?" 17.08.2026 2t 52min
Mr C is out of jail no problem! He's cruising with Ray. He uses his phone to get tracking devices off his car somehow. He says he's going to take Ray to "the Farm", which isn't ominous at all. Ray says he has some numbers memorized that Mr C wants, but he might charge some money for them. Then he has to pee, which Mr C uses as an opportunity to shoot Ray. But he fell for the Fake Bullets Trick!!! Ray shoots him. This must spell trouble for ole Mr C....PSYCH! A bunch of those Woodsmen show up and do a Fucked Up Ritual to Mr C, which makes a black BOB Orb emerge from his stomach. Ray understandably freaks out and runs away. Driving away, he calls Phillip, presumably Jeffries, and says he thinks? he killed Mr C.Then SMASH CUT to the roadhouse! It’s the end of the episode! Time to get played out by a real life band, everyone’s favorite Lost Highway soundtrack producer, The Nine Inch Nails! Then Mr C wakes up. That’s weird though, we’re only like 15 minutes into the episode….what’s going on??? Oh! It’s 5:29 am on July 16, 1945, in White Sands, New Mexico! Do I know that from history somewhere? Oh a nuclear bomb has gone off! And we’re playing Krzysztof Penderecki’s Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima, one of the most discordant pieces of avant-garde music imaginable! We zoom in on the bomb and get a cavalcade of overwhelming incomprehensible images in what I can only really describe as an assault on the senses. Then it kinda becomes fire, or smoke, or maybe galaxies forming? Or more bombs and volcanoes? Then we see a gas station and convenience store. We stay here for a few minutes while the camera does the fucked up jittery crashing graphics card effect from part 3, as smoke, light, and a bunch of those Woodsmen appear around the gas station. Then we see a shape that looks like the thing that killed that couple in part 1 floating in a void, vomiting up a bunch of liquid, that BOB orb, and a bunch of eggs. Then it’s back to the fire and threnody! There’s a weird gold nugget or something in there too. Then we go to that big purple sea from part 3, and a building that seems like a different building from where Coop was overlooking the sea from? Inside is that weird black & white space that Coop seemed to be in in the season’s opening scene. There’s a lady swaying to some chill old timey music. Then the guy who looks like the Giant is there, and one of those electric tea kettle diving bell things gives off an alarm. The giant turns it off then walks to their nearby theater, where he watches the episode so far. Then he floats up and some gold Stuff leaves his mouth, which the lady with him is entranced by. The gold stuff becomes an Orb with Laura in it. The lady kisses the orb and sends it to earth via pneumatic tube.ANYWAY! Back in New Mexico, it’s 1956 now. A fucked up frog moth thing crawls out of one of those eggs that got puked up. Then a young couple walk home, passing that gas station from earlier. The guy kisses the girl even though she didn’t really want to.Anyway! Those woodsmen are here! They spook out a couple in a car asking for a light, then one of them goes to the radio station, kills everyone inside, and broadcasts his Incantation over the radio, which makes everyone in town pass out. That frog moth thing crawls into the young girl’s mouth. The woodsman walks off into the desert and a horse neighs. What a normal episode!⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 7: "There's a body all right" 03.08.2026 2t 5min
It's finally time to pay off Laura's secret diary from Fire Walk With Me about how the good Dale is in the Lodge!!! It's what Hawk found in that bathroom stall door!!! There's also a really sad one about Laura realizing BOB is Leland. Hawk and Truman go “damn that's crazy I guess Leland hid it”, then Truman calls the original Harry Truman but doesn't press the point because he has cancer or something. Then he uses Skype™ to call Doc Hayward to ask him about the Coop that came out of the Lodge. Hayward says he was acting really weird and might have “checked in on” comatose Audrey Horne.Cynthia Knox, that FBI agent who was sent to check out Garland Briggs’ prints, is like what da hell there’s actually a body??? And he’s got no head and seems to have not aged??? Also one of those weird soot-blasted guys shows up and is REALLY spooky.Albert and Gordon talk to Diane!!! She tells them to fuck off but then does come to South Dakota to talk to Mr C. They have a very upsetting exchange with disturbing insinuations about the last time they saw each other, and she tells Gordon that Mr C is definitely not the real Dale Cooper. Afterwards, Mr C cashes in his Strawberry Blackmail for a get out of jail free card, and rides off with his henchman Ray. By the way, we remember from back in part 2 that Ray is scheming against Mr C, but that Mr C knows this.AND THAT’S NOT ALL! Dougie gets grilled by some Brother Cops about his exploding car. Janey-E tells them off because she’s had a very long day. But it’s about to get longer! Ike the Spike attacks!!! But Dougie fends him off with his Black Lodge Chop and Hand Squeeze! We then get a crazy street interview sequence about Dougie’s Moves.Meanwhile: Jerry Horne got too high!! In the woods!!! Andy tries to solve the mystery of the truck Richard Horne hit that kid with, but the guy he's talking to is really scared and then no-shows their meeting. Ben Horne and his secretary Beverly hear a Weird Sound in the Great Northern, and go “huh! weird!” at getting Dale’s old room key that Jade sent in the mail. Ben pointedly does Not make a move on her, and Beverly has a fraught relationship with her sick husband. Jean-Michel Renault watches a guy sweep at the roadhouse and is still a piece of shit about underage girls. And at the RR, a guy called Bing is looking for a guy called Billy.⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? Comments? • Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 6: "Don't Die" 20.07.2026 2t 18min
Dougie gets brought home by the cops after loitering soulfully at the sheriff statue. He gives his son a Potato Chip then gets another message from MIKE: wake up! Don't die! This doesn't wake him up; instead, he gets Insurance Vision and scribbles all over his case files. The next day, his boss is at first upset about the scribbles, but then awed when he realizes the disturbing truth they reveal. Janey-E gives Dougie a piece of her mind, then gives the loan sharks he owes $50,000 to a piece of her mind, which seems to work?Meanwhile: Albert meets Diane for One Second! Carl from fire walk with me is back! So is a lady called Miriam! They both witness Richard Horne run over a kid after he gets emasculated via magic trick at a drug deal!We don't see Mr C once, but we do see his machinations, as his Ominous Red Square prompts that nervous business guy Duncan Todd to send Ike “The Spike” Stadtler to kill Dougie and Lorraine, the hitman handler who failed to kill him last time. Chad is still an asshole! And Hawk finally finds an honest to goodness clue, as a dropped Indian Head coin leads him into a bathroom stall with a nez percé manufactured door... and inside that door... some mysterious pages!⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodes. • Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 5: "Case Files" 06.07.2026 2t 20min
Dougie Dale sheds a tear at the sight of his son in the car, then goes to work at LUCKY 7 INSURANCE. He convinces young intern Phil to give him a guy called Frank’s coffee, which works out because Frank finds out he likes green tea. A flashing green light makes Dougie say that a co-worker, Sinclair, is lying about an insurance payout on a fire. His boss, Bushnell “Battling Bud” Mullins, gives him a bunch of case files to study all night. Then he forgets how to pee again which makes an anonymous female coworker want to fuck him so bad. He definitely does not pay back the $50,000 debt Janey-E tells him to. Meanwhile, Mr C is locked up in jail, where he sees Bob’s reflection in the mirror. He uses his one phone call to say something about “Mr Strawberry”, which seems to rattle the warden, and then puts a code into the phone that makes every alarm go off so he can say “the cow jumped over the moon” without anyone hearing.Meanwhile: the hitmen supposed to kill Dougie keep circling the block and going idunno his car is still there. This really stresses out a woman named Lorraine who texts “2” to a little black box which shrinks. Don't ask me! Later some punks try to steal the car and it explodes. Anyway! The detectives find Dougie’s ring inside the stomach of maybe Garland Briggs’ corpse. Shelley and Norma Shelley's daughter, played by Amanda Siegfried, is dating a burnout called Steven. New Sheriff Truman’s wife is a TOTAL BITCH. 2 mob guys(?) beat up and fire the casino pit boss while their 3 hotties watch. Jade puts Coop’s Great Northern key in the mail. A guy named only in the credits gets very rapey at the Roadhouse. Tammy Preston seems to think there's something weird with Coop's fingerprints. Andy and Hawk still got nothing. And we FINALLY learn what Jacoby is doing with those shovels and it makes NO SENSE!!⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 4: "Brings Back Some Memories" 22.06.2026 2t 33min
Dougie Dale keeps winning jackpots!!!! He's mister jackpots!!! A guy called Bill Shaker who seems to know Dougie tells him where he lives, and Dougie seems about to leave, when he is threateningly given his winnings and a limo ride home by the casino staff. He meets his wife, Janey-E, played by the illustrious Naomi Watts, who is so mad at him for disappearing for 3 days and also understandably freaks out that he has a mountain of cash. The next morning he gets a message from MIKE, oh my god this is gonna do it he's gonna get his memory back!!! – oh wait nevermind he has to pee. He has breakfast and coffee – oh my god, coffee! This is gonna do it, it's gonna bring him back!! Oh, nevermind, he just does a funny face. Oh well!Meanwhile: Gordon Cole meets with TS Legend Denise Duchovny, who is now the chief of staff of the entire federal bureau of investigation. She questions him about his intentions in working with the beautiful young Tammy, saying she “knows his profile”, but Cole deflects using the Trans Rights Gambit. Then he goes to talk to Mr C in prison, who is what that phone call last episode  was about, and who tries really hard to seem normal and fails. Afterwards, Cole and Albert are skeezy about Tammy and Albert tells Cole that years ago Philip Jeffries asked the identity of “their guy in Columbia” on behalf of Me C, and then that guy was killed. In Twin Peaks, we meet a bunch of people: the new Sheriff Truman! And Bobby who's a nice boy cop now and he cries remembering Laura Palmer and it's genuinely really affecting! And Chad, who is NOT a nice cop! And Lucy and Andy's son, Michael Cera doing an insane Marlon Brando impression! Also, we learn that maybe Mr C killed Garland Briggs, and that Lucy, god bless her, just cannot understand cell phones. ⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks: The Return, Part 3: "Call for Help" 08.06.2026 2t 9min
Folks, these recaps aren’t getting any easier. So Coop was falling in space, right? He lands on a brutalist structure where a lady with no eyes who moves like your graphics card is dying tells him to be really quiet because something really scary is banging on the door. They go upstairs where they’re now on the roof of a box floating in space. Then something crazy happens which I have no idea how anyone could have seen coming: Coop sees MAJOR GARLAND BRIGGS as a FLOATING HEAD IN SPACE???? Whaaaaat?!?! He goes back inside where a lady who looks a lot like Ronnette Pulaski tells him to go through a giant electrical outlet. He does, and it seems like his soul is supposed to go into Mr C, who’s da king of da highway, but instead it gets redirected into….Dougie, A third copy of Dale/Mr C, who MIKE tells us was “manufactured” for this purpose. As Dougie, Dale is completely stunned and seems to remember nothing. He almost gets assassinated but escapes by dropping his keys. Despite several “will this get his memory back????” fakeouts, he spends the rest of the episode wandering a place as twisted and labyrinthine as the black lodge itself: a casino. Meanwhile: Gordon Cole, Albert, and our new, cuntiest FBI Agent Tammy Preston learn Something about Coop! And in Twin Peaks, Hawk, Andy, and Lucy debate whether the missing thing the log lady told them about is a chocolate bunny, and Jacoby spray-paints his shovels gold. ⁂Follow the show on Bluesky Questions? Dale is back for real! It's weird. Anyway! Bill Hastings says he wasn't at Ruth Davenport's apartment but he did have a dream that he was, which is weird. His wife is really happy he's in jail, but then she gets killed by Mr C. Speaking of Mr C, he gets busy this episode: he tells us he doesn't Need, he Wants, and then he starts killing his underlings, who were trying to take him out on behalf of... Philip Jeffries? He then calls Philip Jeffries using his FBI suitcase phone, but it is actually someone else? In all this we learn these things about him:He's supposed to be pulled back into the black lodge, but has a planHe's looking for something represented by an ace of spades with a weird ant head shape drawn on it?He met with Garland Briggs recentlyMeanwhile: a guy named Duncan Todd, played by the guy who had the Mulholland Drive Winkies dream, gives someone a job and is scared of his evil boss. Hawk gets a call from the Log Lady as he's scoping out Glastonbury Grove, where red curtains appear. Sarah Palmer has a new HDTV, which isn't ominous at all! Oh boy! It’s been 25 years! Twin Peaks is back! I can’t WAIT to find out what is going on with my favorite boy Dale Cooper! Oh boy he’s on screen talking to the giant! Oh, but – what’s that? He is “far away”? Oh! Okay! See you!Anyway! A guy called Sam is being paid to watch a mysterious glass box, and thinks it’s probably fine if him and his girlfriend Tracey have sex on the job – OH NO NO IT’S NOT THEY’RE GETTING KILLED BY A GHASTLY FIGURE! EEK! Oh my god it’s EVIL DALE COOPER, or as people seem to call him, Mr. C! What dastardly plans has HE been getting up to?? We don’t know yet. He drives a car epic style, administers violence, and picks up two henchpeople. Anyway! A lady called Ruth Davenport is found dead in Buckhorn, South Dakota. Or rather, her head is found, laid on top of a Mysterious Unknown Body. Fingerprints of the local principal, Bill Hastings, played by the illustrious Matthew Lillard, are found all over the apartment, so Bill is brought in for questioning and seems really scared and confused about it all.Now you might be asking : hey what about “Twin Peaks”? Well have no fear: Dr Jacoby gets a bunch of shovels! Jerry Horne has a Legal Weed business and is like come on Ben Horne you’re fuckin your secretary right??? And Ben is like No, I Respect Women Now. Lucy tells an insurance guy there are TWO Sheriff Trumans! Also she has a kid with Andy! • Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (Pt. 2) 30.04.2026 2t 22min
And now…. the thrilling conclusion!Laura puts the ominous painting up, and it gives her a Black Lodge Dream. We learn the following:the little man is The Arm, and he sounds like thishe and the Tremonds/Chalfonts want her to take that green ring, but Dale says NOT to.dead Annie appears in her bed and tells her: “I've been with Dale and Laura. the good Dale is in the lodge and he can't leave. write it in your diary.”It's terrifying! The next evening, Laura is going out tricking/partying with Jacques Renault, and Donna insists on coming with. (also on the way the log lady gives her a heartbreaking log lady intro prophecy.) Laura is like fine Donna come if you want, you can't handle this, fuck you, but then when seeing Donna get date raped, freaks out and takes her home. there's a lot more to the scene but we'll get to it. Leland picks Laura up from Donna's, and while they're driving, MIKE shows up and screams at Leland about creamed corn and “the thread will be torn”. Leland remembers killing Teresa banks after setting up a threesome with her and then realizing it was with Laura. That night, Laura goes to buy cocaine with Bobby, which turns out to be from the shitty deer meadow deputy which I only realized now on like my 4th viewing, and Bobby kills him.Now things get really grim. Leland/BOB drugs Sarah and assaults Laura, during which she finally sees that BOB is truly Leland. the angel in Laura's painting disappears. Laura sobs all day in school and no one cares. and then it's the beginning of the end we know: she meets with James, tells him his Laura went away, that he doesn't know her, that she loves him, then runs off to meet with ronette, Leo, and Jacques. Leo and Jacques rape ronnette and Laura, then Leland shows up, knocks out Jacques, and Leo flees. Leland takes the girls to the train car, followed by MIKE. Bob tells Laura he wants to possess her. Ronette is saved by a guardian angel. MIKE tosses The Ring into the train car, then leaves. Laura puts the ring on, which seems to either force BOB to kill her or prevent him from possessing her. either way, he kills her. After dumping her body, wrapped in plastic, BOB goes to the black lodge via Glastonbury Grove. MIKE and the arm demand all their “garmonbozia (pain and sorrow)”, which BOB manifests as blood from a hovering puppet Leland, which seems to turn into creamed corn. Laura's body is found and a monkey whispers “Judy”.In a final scene that makes me cry every time, Laura is now in the Lodge with Dale, sobbing, and then her angel appears. crying, smiling, laughing, and crying some more, she finds a glimpse of sublime beauty in the heart of unimaginable suffering. ⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (Pt. 1) 13.04.2026 2t 31min
Hi everyone! Time to cry watching the best movie ever made!So first things first, we spend the first half hour following FBI agent CHET DESMOND as he investigates the Teresa Banks in Deer Meadow murder a year before Laura Palmer dies. He gets intro’d to the case by Gordon Cole via Dancing Clue Girl, and then the case swiftly goes nowhere as he is rebuffed by every resident of Deer Meadow, which seems to be like an anti-Twin Peaks. Then, when reaching for Teresa's special green ring under a trailer, he disappears!!!Around the same time, at the FBI field office in Philadelphia, Dale Cooper is looking at himself in the security camera because of an unsettling dream he had, when suddenly, “the long lost Phillip Jeffries” appears, played by David Bowie. He says:I'm not gonna talk about Judy. Now who do you think that is there?! (pointing to dale)I've been to one of their meetings. It was above a convenience store. We live inside a dream!and then disappears – or was never there? The scene is overlaid with a nightmarish sequence of “Lodge Entities”, seemingly above said convenience store, where the following things happen:Ms Tremond and her grandson are there. the grandson says “fell a victim” pointing at BOB.The Arm says “this is a formica table. green is its color” and “with this ring i thee wed”A guy in a weird mask jumps and says “electricity”Afterwards, Dale goes to the trailer park where “let's rock!” has been written on Desmond's car. He tells Albert that he's sure the killer will strike again, but knows not where or when. Heartbreaking smash cut to: TWIN PEAKS, ONE YEAR LATER. The intro song plays as Laura walks to school with Donna, does cocaine, and meets Bobby and James. She gives a heartbreaking speech to Donna about falling in space forever and the angels are all gone. She then finds pages ripped out from her secret diary, freaks out and gives the rest to Harold, who doesn't believe her about BOB and all that. She says BOB wants to be her and she has a flash of a scary possessed makeup face. While Laura is preparing to do meals on wheels, Ms Tremond (or Chalfont) and her grandson give her an ominous painting and a message that “the man behind the mask” is looking for her secret diary. She runs home in a panic, finds BOB in her room who snarls at her, then runs out in a panic. When she sees Leland emerge from the house, she realizes he might be BOB.That evening, Leland seems to punish Laura for this by tormenting her at dinner about being filthy and having to wash her hands. PART TWO of our Fire Walk With Me coverage will be out NEXT WEEK!⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks S2E22: Beyond Life and Death 06.04.2026 3t 17min
WE MADE IT GANG!! And our reward: one of the best episodes of television ever aired. Half its runtime is a nightmare sequence of Dale Cooper walking in and out of 2 identical rooms witnessing a carousel of visions ranging from unsettling to profoundly horrifying. And it's all held together by a profound return of sauce that the show has been missing and an insistence on bringing tragedy and horror back to Twin Peaks.Let's get the B plots out of the way first. Nadine’s head bonk did bring her memories back, but she's forgotten all about Mike the snake, in a scene that is shocking for how much it's played for straight-faced, tragic pathos. Likewise, Donna's “is Ben my dad” plotline’s only resolution is Doc Hayward punching out Ben Horne, which is convincingly played as upsetting and horrific. Audrey chains herself to the Twin Peaks Bank to protest Ghostwood, which also happens to be where there's a safety deposit box that Andrew Packard realizes the key from the ingot opens up. Inside that safety deposit box: a bomb! Which kills? Everyone? And a replay of the pilot's intro scene to the diner is interrupted when Sarah Palmer returns to deliver a spirit message to Garland Briggs: “I'm in the Black Lodge with Dale Cooper. I'm waiting for you.”Speaking of, Dale follows Windom and Annie into the Black Lodge, which turns out to be the red room from his dream way back in episode 2. He sees the Man From Another Place, the little man from his dream, dance to a soulful jazz song. He sees Laura Palmer, who tells him she'll see him again in 25 years. He sees the old waiter and/as the giant, who brings him coffee, which the Man From Another Place seems to freeze solid then transform into burnt oil. He sees Maddy, who says to watch out for her cousin. He sees a version of the Man From Another Place with cataract-white eyes who says “doppelganger” threateningly. He sees a similarly cataracted doppelganger Laura who does the worst scream in the world. He runs away and realizes he's bleeding. He sees his dead body next to Annie's. He sees Annie, except she's Caroline, except she’s Annie, except she's evil Laura, except she's Windom Earle. Windom says he'll let Annie live in exchange for Dale's soul. Dale immediately agrees. BOB appears and kills Windom Earle. Dale runs away as an Evil Dale doppelganger emerges. Dale sees a Leland Palmer doppelganger who says “I did not kill anybody”. Dale runs and runs and runs from his doppelganger but gets caught. BOB’s face laughs horribly.A full day later, Harry sees Dale and Annie having reemerged from the Black Lodge, both passed out. The next morning, “Dale” “wakes up”, and says he needs to brush his teeth. In the bathroom, he slams his head into the mirror, revealing BOB in his reflection, and repeats “How’s Annie? How’s Annie? How’s Annie?”, heralding the return of evil in the form of Dale Cooper.⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks S2E21: Miss Twin Peaks 23.03.2026 2t 39min
Leo frees Garland Briggs from the clutches of Windom Earle so that he can “save Shelly”. As a punishment, Windom puts Leo in “the spider contraption”. Garland wanders his way to giving Dale some cryptic clues. Dale, who by the way had sex, finally goes oh my god I need to go to the Miss Twin Peaks pageant, having seemingly really just entirely ignored the more obvious clue the Giant gave him last episode. And what do you know, Annie wins the pageant and is immediately kidnapped by Windom Earle, in a sequence where the show gives us its best and its worst, serving really cool strobe light effects and really bad transmisogyny.Speaking of the pageant, most of our B-plots happen there too: Donna confronts Ben and he doesn't say he's her dad, but she does, so make of that what you will. Lucy chooses Andy as her baby daddy, but he's gotta find Dale to tell him his Petroglyph Discovery. Audrey is strong-armed by Beninto giving a Tree Speech, and Lana does a Racist Dance. As for non-pageant B-plots: Andrew finally shoots open the final ingot puzzle box, revealing…a key!!!! Nadine gives an epic Powerpoint about how good she is at wrestling, but is jealous about Ed and Norma getting married. ⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks S2E20: The Path to the Black Lodge 09.03.2026 2t 5min
Windom Earle is playing OFF THE BOARD! Which mostly means he’s abandoned his whole chess-murder-revenge-on-Dale thing – which the show retcons as having been just a ruse the whole time – to focus on his true passion, Getting Into The Black Lodge. To that end, he dresses up as a horse with Leo to kidnap Garland Briggs and gets really good at Photoshop. Coop continues to just... have meetings about how Windom Earle is messed up, and keeps romancing Annie, wilfully oblivious to all the clues that he’s getting Spiritually Doomed. And speaking of: the spirits are back! They're making everyone's hand shake and spooky_drone.mp3 play!Meanwhile: Audrey and Jack have a tearful, sexy farewell. Donna keeps finding “Is Ben My Dad” clues without it really going anywhere. Thomas Eckhardt opens Catherine's box; inside he finds another box, and inside THAT box... some sort of ingot? And the Miss Twin Peaks contest is happening real soon, for real you guys, we promise!⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? • Twin Peaks S2E19: Variations On Relations 23.02.2026 2t 18min
Hey listener, do you think Windom Earle’s plans had enough moving pieces yet? OF COURSE NOT! So he puts one of the background guys from Wayne’s World in a giant chess piece, shoots him with a crossbow, and leaves him as a gift at the gazebo where he saw Dale and Annie going on an obscenely romantic date. Meanwhile: Pete tells Catherine that Andrew Eckhard’s epic puzzle box will take YEARS to open, but then he drops it and it opens…. to reveal ANOTHER PUZZLE BOX!!! The Miss Twin Peaks Contest is the site of many contestations, such as Bobby being a shithead to Shelly, Ben trying to make it Environmental, and Lana trying to sex-magic her way into a guaranteed win. Dick Tremayne hosts a wine-tasting event. Donna confronts her parents about the Ben Horne Secret but it doesn’t go anywhere. Audrey’s boy Jack does go somewhere though – but where?? ⁂ Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodes Follow the show on Bluesky Questions? Comments? • Twin Peaks S2E18: On the Wings of Love 09.02.2026 1t 46min
The cliffhanger from last episode resolves into a bizarre sex assassination and then is never mentioned again. Weird LOL! Anyway! Dale and Harry have more pressing things on their plates, such as: Windom Earle schemes to kill the winner of the Miss Twin Peaks Contest, their Completely Innocent Bonsai Gift, and checking out a spooky cave. Gordon Cole is back in town, immediately reinstates Coop back into the FBI, and then they both fall in love with diner babes.Meanwhile: Audrey is gonna go on a “full fucking flight and dinner” with Jack but gets redirected to becoming the Horne Business New Good Deeds Lady. She also teams up with Donna a bit to investigate Ben’s mysterious dealings with Donna’s mom. Donna gets a postcard from James. Coop REALLY hits it off with Annie, and Andy and Windom Earle do some crazy shit to a cave.⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? Windom Earle has upped his costume budget HUGELY, busting out 2 frankly convincing disguises to phreak out Donna and spy on Shelly and Dale. Also he’s so mad that Dale is outsourcing his chess to Pete. But Dale has no time for chess! He has to listen to the Log Lady tell him about triangles. Harry is not taking Josie’s death well, and spends the whole episode in “Sicko Mode”. Then Eckhard’s former assistant tries to sleep with him I guess.Meanwhile: Norma’s sister Annie arrives in town! Coop loves her coffee, and maybe also her big blue eyes?? Andy doesn’t know jack about chess. Audrey does know Jack, and they go on a picnic. Nadine and Ed go to divorce therapy. Ben is seemingly actually reformed? And DICK TREMAYNE is back to MC The Stop Ghostwood Save The Weasel Fashion Show, in which Andy and Lucy SLAY!!!!!!! and the beloved weasel runs amok!!!⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? Damn, this episode sucks!Pete cooks up a stalematey chess move for Dale, the girls put together the poem Earle wrote for them, and over at the catboy shack Windom tells Leo he loves poetry and making arrows...? Nadine dumps Ed, who for real this time proposes to Norma, who dumps Hank, who’s off to jail for real this time. A Hot Guy shows up with Audrey’s name on him...! Finally, Josie Packard, and her plotline, meet a bitter, racist, uninspired end. Also: ableism leaves a foul taste in Sadie’s milf, Lily does NOT say the F-slur, and your illustrious hosts debut a new segment: TWIN PEAKS BINGO!!⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions? FIRST THINGS FIRST: WE ARE NOT FREE FROM FUCK MANSION!!!! I REPEAT, THERE HAS BEEN NO ESCAPE FROM FUCK MANSION!!!!!!!! GET BACK IN THERE JAMES HURLEY YOU POUTING LITTLE SLUT!!!!!!!!!Anyway, Windom Earle decided just the one chess-based high-concept fucked up clue delivery system wasn’t enough, so he sent pieces of his dead wife’s wedding dress to a bunch of cities that make a big C on a map. He’s still doing the chess thing though, which Dale deals with by contracting Pete, who it turns out has secretly been a chess genius the whole time? But other important Earle news: he’s really into playing the flute now? And has decided to keep Leo as a boy pet. Also he’s giving some message to Donna, Audrey, and Shelley, and leaves a spooky death mask for Dale but that’s less important.Meanwhile: Hank is getting sent back to the slammer for shooting Leo. Nadine invents polyamory when she walks in on Ed and Norma in the afterglow. The cops suspect Josie probably shot that guy. But Catherine seems ready to sell Josie to Thomas Echkardt as I guess a sex slave, in what continues to be the worst plotline on the show. And last but not least, Audrey, Jerry, and Jacoby bring Ben back from civil war land by having him win the civil war for the South ????????????⁂Support the show on Patreon for early access and exclusive movie discussion episodesFollow the show on BlueskyQuestions?
