In this episode of Faith-Led Life, I’m sharing what happened during one of my own “Why?” and “Wait” seasons…and the incredibly personal way God reminded me that He is listening. Through Isaiah 55, Habakkuk, and Romans 5, we’ll talk about what it looks like to trust God’s character when we don’t understand His timing, stay obedient when we can’t see the vision unfolding, remain faithful when God’s ways don’t make sense to us, and hold onto hope when the answer seems slow. I’ll share a story involving a rainbow, a very specific nudge from God, a church flyer that showed up unexpectedly, and a Sunday sermon on Habakkuk that felt like a triple-whammy answer to a prayer I had been bringing to God. It reminded me of something I never want to forget: God is present. God is personal. And when we turn to Him for answers, He does answer. But we also have to be ready for His answer—because His answer may not always be the one we expected. Through Scripture, personal experience, and my years in furniture sales, I share how I learned that just because someone else flourishes doing something one way doesn’t mean God has called you to do it the same way.
