  • 123. Fertility After 40: Rejecting Fear, Supporting the Body & Trusting God’s Design with Dr. Tiffany Flock 14.09.2026 40min
If you’re trying to conceive after vasectomy reversal and you feel like every conversation keeps coming back to numbers, age, timelines, or fear, this episode is going to breathe fresh hope into your journey. In this conversation, I’m joined by Dr. Tiffany Flock, a Doctor of Naturopathy, biohacker, wife, and mom of four who had babies in her 40s and understands what it’s like to reject fear-based messaging around fertility, pregnancy, and motherhood. We talk about why fertility is not separate from the rest of the body, why “normal” labs do not always mean optimal health, and how stress, digestion, detox pathways, environmental toxins, inflammation, emotional wellness, and the words we speak over our bodies can all impact how the body functions. Dr. Tiffany shares her own story of walking through health struggles, miscarriage, pregnancy in her 40s, placenta previa, and how LifeWave patches became part of her personal wellness story. We also talk about root-cause healing, why the body’s symptoms are often clues instead of failures, and how supporting the body’s God-designed ability to heal can look very different from chasing the next medication, supplement, or quick fix. If you’ve been told to just wait, retest, move to IUI or IVF, or accept that age is the problem, this episode is a reminder that your body is not broken, your story is not over, and fertility deserves to be looked at through the lens of whole-body health, faith, and deeper support. • 122. What Sugar Is Stealing from Your Life: How Blood Sugar, Cravings & Metabolism Impact Your Hormones, Energy, and Ability to Live Fully with Christine Trimpe 07.09.2026 37min
Have you ever felt like sugar had more control over your life than you wanted to admit? In this episode, I’m joined by Christine Trimpe, founder of The SugarFreed® Method, certified Christian health coach, SUGAR® Licensed Practitioner, speaker, and author of SugarFreed: Stop Losing the Weight Loss Battle, Start Gaining the Victory. Christine shares her powerful story of breaking free from sugar dependency, losing 100 pounds, and realizing that sugar, processed carbs, cravings, blood sugar crashes, inflammation, and insulin resistance were affecting far more than her weight. They were impacting her energy, hormones, metabolism, mood, peace, confidence, and ability to fully live the life God had given her. We talk about the all-or-nothing cycle so many women feel trapped in: doing “good” for a while, falling back into cravings, feeling ashamed, and then trying to fix it with stricter rules, detoxes, cleanses, or another round of willpower. Christine shares why those extremes rarely lead to lasting freedom and why true change often begins with nourishment, blood sugar stability, renewed thinking, and a different relationship with food. If you feel stuck in food guilt, sugar cravings, binge-restrict patterns, blood sugar crashes, low energy, hormone symptoms, or frustration with your metabolism, this episode will help you look at sugar, faith, health, and freedom in a deeper way. • 121. Doing All the Things but Still Not Pregnant? Nervous System Healing for Inflammation, Hormones & Fertility with Miriam Gallifant 31.08.2026 33min
If you’re trying to conceive and feel like you’re doing everything right but your body still feels stuck, this conversation will help you look at fertility and healing through a different lens. In this episode, I’m joined by Miriam Gallifant, a holistic occupational therapist, to talk about the connection between nervous system stress, inflammation, hormone health, and fertility. So many women are tracking ovulation, watching symptoms, taking supplements, researching protocols, and praying for answers, yet their bodies may still be living in survival mode. We talk about how chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation can impact hormones, thyroid function, blood sugar, metabolism, inflammation, sleep, digestion, and emotional well-being. Miriam also shares simple daily rhythms that can help support the body’s ability to feel safe, regulate, and heal without adding another overwhelming protocol to your life. If you’ve been told everything looks “normal,” but you still feel tired, anxious, inflamed, foggy, hormonally off, or discouraged in your fertility journey, this episode is a reminder that your body is not broken. • 120. Trying to Conceive Without Losing Your Peace: Fertility Optimization & Learning to Trust the Body God Designed with Dr. Brook Sheehan 24.08.2026 50min
If you are trying to conceive and your fertility journey has started consuming your peace, this conversation is for you. Maybe you began this season feeling hopeful and proactive, but now the ovulation tracking, supplement research, semen analysis results, lab work, cycle apps, symptom spotting, and timing all feel like a full-time job. In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Brook Sheehan, a licensed chiropractor, functional health practitioner, and creator of the BodyOS Framework, to talk about fertility optimization, body trust, surrender, and learning to trust the body God designed. Brook shares her own journey of going from complete disconnection from her body to full-on health optimization mode, and how she discovered that real healing was not found in chasing more protocols, but in learning to understand what her body was communicating. We talk about the difference between supporting your fertility and trying to control your fertility, why more supplements are not always the answer, how fear can disguise itself as wisdom, and what it looks like to pursue healing without losing your peace in the process. If you have been trying to optimize your fertility but feel exhausted, anxious, disconnected, or afraid your body is working against you, this episode will help you remember that your body is not the enemy. God did not make a mistake when He created your body, and sometimes healing begins with learning to listen, trust, and surrender. • 119. When Pain Becomes Your Prison: Supernatural Healing, Chronic Pain & the Root-Cause Bodywork Most People Haven’t Heard Of with Dr. Chad Zaabadick PT, DPT 17.08.2026 47min
What if the pain, symptoms, tension, hormone changes, digestive issues, or physical limitations you’ve been told to “just manage” are not random at all? In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Chad Zaabadick, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in visceral manipulation, neural manipulation, and root-cause bodywork most people have never heard of. Chad shares his powerful testimony of walking through nearly a decade of chronic pain, injuries, nerve symptoms, and physical limitations, and how God began restoring his body, renewing his faith, and leading him into the work he now uses to help others. We talk about what happens when pain becomes a prison, why the body does not heal in isolated boxes, and how the standard approach can sometimes miss the deeper connections between the organs, nerves, fascia, scar tissue, blood flow, mobility, and nervous system. Chad explains how visceral manipulation and neural manipulation may help support the body by addressing restrictions and tension patterns that can affect movement, pain, digestion, circulation, stress response, pelvic function, and overall quality of life. This conversation is about more than chronic pain. It is about learning to see the body as connected, intelligent, and capable of healing in ways many people have never been taught to consider. We talk about faith, perseverance, supernatural healing, root-cause bodywork, and what it can look like to keep asking better questions when the usual answers have not been enough. If you have ever felt dismissed, stuck, limited by symptoms, or told there is nothing else to do, this episode will remind you that pain does not have to be the final word. • 118. Food Noise, Fertility & Ozempic: What Your Gut Is Trying to Tell You with Shirley Billigmeier 10.08.2026 33min
If you’ve ever felt trapped in the cycle of dieting, calorie counting, emotional eating, or constantly thinking about food, this episode is going to challenge everything you thought you knew about hunger, weight loss, and lasting health. Many women—especially those navigating hormone imbalance, inflammation, weight gain, or fertility struggles—are told to “just lose weight.” But what if the real issue isn’t a lack of discipline or willpower? What if your body already has built-in wisdom around hunger, fullness, and nourishment, but years of dieting, stress, food rules, and restriction have disconnected you from it? In this conversation with Shirley Billigmeier, we dive into food noise, the gut-brain connection, emotional eating, Ozempic, and why so many people feel stuck in an exhausting cycle of guilt, cravings, restriction, and shame. Shirley has spent more than 50 years helping people rebuild a healthy relationship with food by reconnecting them to what she calls their natural eating boundaries. Long before gut health and GLP-1 medications became mainstream, she was teaching that the body already knows what it needs when we learn how to listen. We talk about why food can feel so emotionally powerful, how chronic dieting disrupts the body’s natural signals, and why medications like Ozempic may quiet food noise without addressing the deeper root cause. We also explore why not all emotional eating is actually emotional, how inflammation and stress can keep you feeling stuck, and why true healing often starts with rebuilding trust in your body instead of fighting against it. If you’ve spent years obsessing over food, feeling frustrated with weight loss, or wondering why nothing seems to work long term, this episode offers a completely different perspective. There is freedom on the other side of food obsession—and it starts with learning to listen to the body God designed.   Connect with Shirley:Website: www.innergetics.com Email: [email protected]://linktr.ee/shirley418 Instagram: @innergeticsmethodFacebook: www.facebook.com/learn.innergetics linkedin.com/in/shirleybilligmeierlinkedin.com/company/innergetics  Download a free copy of Inner Eating: https://www.innergetics.com/book Next Steps:Join the Rooted Community: https://susangladstein.com/communityReady to look at the full fertility picture? • 117. When Parents Stop Outsourcing: Homeschooling, Vaccines, Medical Freedom, and Trusting Your God-Given Discernment with Cheryl Daley 03.08.2026 53min
Have you ever started questioning one system and realized it made you question everything? For many couples trying to conceive after vasectomy reversal, that moment often starts in the fertility world. You’re told your labs are “normal,” IVF or IUI is the next step, or there’s nothing else to look at, but deep down, you know your family deserves more than a one-size-fits-all answer. In this episode, I’m joined by Cheryl Daley, host of The Homeschool How To Podcast, for a powerful conversation about homeschooling, vaccines, medical freedom, parental rights, informed consent, and learning to trust your God-given discernment as a parent. Cheryl shares how COVID opened her eyes to the traditional school system, why she chose to homeschool her children, and how asking better questions about education led her family to think more deeply about childhood health, vaccine requirements, and the medical decisions parents are often pressured to make without full informed consent. Whether you’re questioning vaccine schedules, considering homeschooling, or simply learning to advocate for your family with more wisdom and confidence, this conversation will remind you that you are allowed to ask questions, do your own research, and make decisions that align with your faith, values, and the children God entrusted to you.Connect with Cheryl:Podcast: The Homeschool How ToWebsite: https://thehomeschoolhowto.com/   Next Steps:Join the Rooted Community: https://susangladstein.com/communityReady to look at the full fertility picture? • 116. IVF, Donor Eggs & Adoption: The Fertility Decisions No One Prepared Us For with Kristen Mayer 27.07.2026 42min
What happens when IVF finally gives you embryos, but also leaves you carrying questions no one prepared you to answer? In this episode, I’m joined by Kristen Mayer for an honest conversation about infertility, IVF, donor eggs, adoption, miscarriage, embryo decisions, and faith. Kristen shares how her fertility journey began, what it felt like to be told donor eggs were her only option, and the heartbreak of finding out on Mother’s Day that none of their embryos had made it to blast. After their first failed IVF cycle, Kristen and her husband chose adoption and welcomed their daughter in 2019. Years later, they returned to fertility treatment, walked through more failed rounds and loss, and eventually used donor eggs to welcome their son through IVF. But this conversation goes deeper than the outcome. We talk about the questions many couples are never fully prepared for before fertility treatment, including what to do with remaining embryos, the emotional and spiritual weight of IVF decisions, and why “just do IVF” is not always as simple as it sounds. Kristen also shares how infertility impacted her marriage, her faith, her body, and the way she now sees motherhood, adoption, and trusting God in the middle of a story that did not unfold the way she expected.Connect with Kristen:Instagram: @riseandrootmethod Next Steps:Join the Rooted Community: https://susangladstein.com/communityReady to look at the full fertility picture? • 115. Are You Waiting for Your Life to Begin? Trying to Conceive After Vasectomy Reversal Without Losing Yourself 20.07.2026 31min
Trying to conceive after vasectomy reversal can slowly begin taking over your life. You wait for healing, semen analysis results, better sperm count and motility, ovulation, pregnancy tests, and the month when everything finally changes. Before long, you may not only be waiting for a baby. You may be waiting to feel like yourself again. In this episode, I’m sharing what it looks like to pursue pregnancy after vasectomy reversal without losing your peace, marriage, faith, health, or identity in the process. I take you back into our own journey, from receiving a zero-sperm semen analysis eight weeks after surgery to seeing 131 million sperm just one month later, and then realizing that even a strong semen analysis did not immediately lead to pregnancy. I also share the moment I received notice that I was deploying to the Middle East and felt God ask, “Do you not trust Me?” Choosing to trust His timing led me into a season of rebuilding my own health foundations, prioritizing sleep, addressing lifelong gut issues, healing childhood trauma, strengthening my marriage, deepening my relationship with God, and learning to love myself for the first time. We’ll talk about how fertility can begin consuming your calendar, marriage, intimacy, and peace, and how to use the waiting season to build a healthier foundation without making trying to conceive your entire identity. You are allowed to want the baby deeply. You are allowed to investigate sperm health, hormones, ovulation, and fertility foundations. But you do not have to lose yourself on the way to the baby you are praying for.   Next Steps:Join the Rooted Community: https://susangladstein.com/communityReady to look at the full fertility picture? • 114. When the Journey Starts Consuming Your Peace: Faith, Burnout, and Letting Go of Control with Antoniette Roze 13.07.2026 40min
Trying to conceive after vasectomy reversal can start to feel like a full-time job. You're tracking ovulation, watching semen analysis results, researching supplements, timing everything perfectly, and praying this month will finally be the month. Before long, the journey that started with hope can begin consuming your peace. In this episode, I'm joined by Antoniette Roze, host of the SPEAKPact Podcast and founder of WPC Speakers Global Agency, for a conversation that speaks deeply to the emotional weight so many couples carry after vasectomy reversal: waiting, hoping, surrendering control, and learning how to protect your peace when the journey feels heavier than expected. Antoniette shares her powerful testimony of surviving a life-threatening childhood diagnosis after being told there was little hope, and how faith carried her through circumstances that looked impossible. Together, we talk about burnout, overwhelm, perfectionism, using your voice, sharing your story, and learning how to stop carrying things God never asked you to carry. If you've been discouraged by semen analysis numbers, frustrated by delays after reversal, exhausted by the uncertainty of trying to conceive, or simply feeling like the fertility journey has started taking over your life, this conversation will encourage you to take a deep breath and remember who is actually in control. Because sometimes the greatest act of faith isn't doing more. It's surrendering more. And sometimes the peace you're searching for isn't found in another supplement, another test, another protocol, or another month of striving. Sometimes it's found in trusting that God is still working, even when you can't see it yet. God's timing is always perfect, even if it doesn't match up with our own, and He truly writes the BEST stories. • 113. Doctors Said She Was Dying. God Said Get Up. A Stage 4 Colon Cancer Healing Story for Anyone Losing Hope with LaVonne Chastain and Gaylynn Kapri 06.07.2026 43min
Have you ever been told there was no hope? Maybe it was a diagnosis. Maybe it was a failed semen analysis after vasectomy reversal. Maybe it was low motility, zero sperm, poor morphology, or a doctor telling you IVF was your only realistic option. In this episode, I’m joined by cousins LaVonne Chastain and Gaylynn Kapri for a story that speaks to anyone walking through fear, grief, uncertainty, or a body that feels like it has betrayed them. Gaylynn is a stage-four colon cancer survivor who was once told she was dying. LaVonne is the author of Get Up: The Story of One Woman’s Journey and the God Who Wouldn’t Let Go, the book based on Gaylynn’s life, loss, healing journey, and testimony. Gaylynn’s story is a powerful reminder that your diagnosis, your semen analysis, your labs, or your doctor’s opinion do not get to become your identity. Together, we talk about stage-four colon cancer, radical remission, faith over fear, food as medicine, fasting, trauma, grief, natural healing, and why caring for the body as God’s temple matters when you are believing for healing, restoration, and new life. If you or your husband have been discouraged by post-reversal numbers, told to move straight to IUI or IVF, or left wondering whether healing is still possible, this conversation will remind you to pause, pray, ask better questions, and remember that God is still in the business of restoration. LaVonne and Gaylynn also share the story behind Get Up, the role faith played in Gaylynn’s healing, and why no season of suffering is wasted in God’s hands. • 112. The Art of the Restart: Root-Cause Healing Beyond Conventional Medicine with Tracy the HopeDealer 29.06.2026 43min
After cancer treatment ends, everyone expects healing to begin. But what happens when you survive cancer and still don't feel well? In this episode, I'm joined by Tracy Robert, also known as Tracy the Hope Dealer, for a powerful conversation about root-cause healing, gut health, chronic illness, faith, fasting, detox, and learning to advocate for your health when you know something deeper is going on. After being diagnosed with colorectal cancer at age 40, Tracy underwent surgery and treatment, only to spend years battling gut issues, inflammation, SIBO, and discouragement. When conventional medicine offered little beyond symptom management, she began searching for answers beyond the traditional system. As Tracy shares her story, I couldn't help but think about how often I see the same pattern in the fertility world. Whether it's low sperm count after vasectomy reversal, recurrent miscarriage, hormone imbalances, unexplained infertility, or being told IVF is the only option, many couples become so focused on the diagnosis that they never stop to ask why the body is struggling in the first place. We talk about The Art of the Restart, learning to advocate for your health, taking every thought captive, breaking free from chronic illness cycles, reducing inflammation, supporting the body at the root level, and why your diagnosis does not have to become your identity. This conversation is a reminder that healing isn't always about finding the next treatment. Sometimes it's about asking better questions. If you've ever felt stuck, dismissed, discouraged, or like your body is trying to tell you something that no one is listening to, this episode will give you hope and a fresh perspective on what healing can look like.   Connect with Tracy:MosaicWellnessHub.com Instagram: @tracythehopedealer Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tracythehopedealer TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@tracythehopedealer   Next Steps:Join the Rooted Community: https://susangladstein.com/communityStart supporting your body with phototherapy: https://susangladstein.com/phototherapyReady to look at the full fertility picture? • 111. GLP-1s, Weight Loss, and Fertility: What Women Need to Know with Bailey King 22.06.2026 35min
If you're trying to conceive and wondering whether weight loss could improve your fertility, this episode is for you. Whether you're preparing for pregnancy, navigating fertility challenges, or trying to conceive after vasectomy reversal, you've probably heard some version of the message: "Just lose weight." But what if the conversation is much bigger than weight alone? In this episode, I sit down with Bailey King, wellness coach, homeschooling mom of six, and creator of The Chaos to Confidence Collective, to discuss the growing popularity of GLP-1 medications, the hidden factors that drive weight gain, and why metabolism, insulin, blood sugar, and overall health matter far more than simply making the scale move. Bailey shares her personal journey through PCOS, Crohn's disease, infertility, medications, restrictive diets, and years of frustration before discovering a sustainable approach built on real food, simple habits, and understanding how the body actually works. Together, we explore why many women feel stuck despite trying everything, the role of insulin and metabolic health, and why optimizing your health can support not only weight loss but also hormone balance, energy, and fertility.   Connect with Bailey: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/baileylynnking/ Email: [email protected] Workshop Application: https://thechaostoconfidencecollective.com/   Next Steps: Join the Rooted Community: https://susangladstein.com/communityStart supporting your body with phototherapy: https://susangladstein.com/phototherapyReady to look at the full fertility picture? • 110. The Hormone Lie: Why Treating Symptoms Isn't Solving the Problem with Dr. Lori Earley 15.06.2026 44min
What if your symptoms aren't the problem? What if they're actually your body's way of telling you that something deeper is out of balance? Too often, we're taught to look at health through the lens of diagnosis and symptom management. Low energy? Take this. Hormone imbalance? Try that. Fertility struggles? Let's jump straight to intervention. But what happens when treating the symptom never actually solves the problem? In this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Lori Earley, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, board-certified herbalist, functional medicine practitioner, and former pharmaceutical sales consultant, for a conversation that challenges the conventional approach to hormone health. We discuss why hormone symptoms are often the end result of deeper dysfunction, what mainstream medicine frequently misses when evaluating women, and how factors like stress, nutrition, digestion, inflammation, and lifestyle habits can impact everything from fertility to perimenopause. Dr. Earley also shares her unique perspective from working on both sides of the healthcare system and explains why understanding the root cause of symptoms is often the missing piece for women who have been told their labs are "normal" but still don't feel well. If you've been searching for answers, struggling with unexplained symptoms, navigating fertility challenges, or simply feeling like there's more to the story than what you've been told, this conversation will give you a different way to think about healing. • 109. “Deadly Diagnosis” or Misunderstood Label? Questioning Hepatitis C, Testing & the Viral Narrative with Autumn McLees 08.06.2026 52min
What if the most dangerous part of a diagnosis isn’t the condition itself… but the label you’re given? In this episode, I’m joined by Autumn McLees, host of Know Better | Do Better and a bold voice in the holistic health space. After being told she had a “deadly” diagnosis of Hepatitis C, Autumn experienced what so many people do—an immediate shift in how she saw her body, her future, and her health. But instead of blindly accepting that label, she paused. And what followed was a multi-year journey of asking deeper questions about how diagnoses are made, what lab testing is actually measuring, and how much of what we accept as “medical certainty” is built on assumptions most people are never taught to question. In this conversation, we talk about the emotional and spiritual weight of a diagnosis, the role fear plays in medical decision-making, and how shifting into a stewardship-based approach to health can change the trajectory of your healing. This episode is not about creating fear or rejecting all medicine. It’s about discernment. Because your future should never be decided by a label you were never taught how to question. • 108. The Lie About Chronic Illness: Why Your Diagnosis Isn’t the End of Your Health with Dr. Amy Behimer 01.06.2026 34min
If you’ve been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition or chronic illness and told this is something you’ll “just have to manage,” this conversation will challenge that. In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Amy Behimer, a pharmacist and board-certified health and wellness coach who specializes in autoimmune health and behavior change. After walking through multiple autoimmune diagnoses herself, including multiple sclerosis, Amy began asking a different question: what would it look like to create better health after diagnosis, not just manage symptoms? We talk about autoimmune healing, chronic illness, stress, nervous system patterns, habit change, self-trust, and why so many people still don’t feel like themselves even after medication, supplements, lifestyle changes, and endless research. Amy shares why healing is not about perfection or another extreme protocol, but about simple, sustainable habits that support your body, mind, and faith one small step at a time. What if the reason you still don’t feel well isn’t because you’re lacking faith, but because no one ever taught you how to support the body God designed to heal? In this episode, I’m joined by Atara Parkinson, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified integrative practitioner, for a powerful conversation on faith, trauma, nervous system healing, minerals, and the healing model of Jesus. We talk about why so many believers are taught how to pray for healing, but not always how to partner with the body, mind, and nervous system. Atara shares what Jesus actually modeled when He healed people, why the Church may unintentionally separate spiritual healing from physical and emotional support, and how harmful language around suffering can shape someone’s view of God, their body, and their ability to heal. We also discuss why minerals matter for brain health, nervous system regulation, hormones, anxiety, burnout, emotional stability, and postpartum depletion. If you’ve been praying for healing but still feel stuck in your body, or if you’ve wondered whether anxiety means you lack faith, this episode will give you hope, language, and a more whole-person view of healing. • 106. Why Unprocessed Grief Is Keeping You Stuck Physically & Emotionally with Marcia Earhart 18.05.2026 31min
If you’ve been dealing with chronic symptoms, unprocessed grief, or emotional trauma that just will not seem to go away… this episode is for you. Maybe you’ve been doing everything right for your health. You’ve tried the supplements, the protocols, the lifestyle changes—and you’re still feeling stuck physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. And deep down, you know there might be something more your body is trying to tell you. In this episode, I’m joined by Marcia Earhart, trauma and grief coach, HeartSync minister, author, and co-founder of The Sterling Rose Sanctuary. Marcia shares from her own story of chronic illness, profound loss, and the faith that carried her through some of the darkest seasons of her life. We talk about how unprocessed grief and trauma can show up in the body as physical symptoms, how emotional stress impacts the nervous system, and why trying to fix symptoms without addressing the root cause can keep you stuck longer than you realize. We also go deeper into what it looks like to heal with God at the center. This is a conversation about faith-based healing, processing grief in a healthy way, and learning how to release what your body has been carrying instead of continuing to push through it. We talk about walking through wilderness seasons, renewing your mind, and choosing truth over the lies that can keep you bound in pain. This episode is for the woman who is tired of pretending she is fine. The one who has been strong for everyone else, but knows there is still something unresolved beneath the surface. The one who is ready for deeper, root-cause healing—body, mind, and spirit. I truly believe this conversation will meet you right where you are and remind you that God sees your pain, He is near to the brokenhearted, and healing is still possible for you. Marcia also shares about The Sterling Rose Sanctuary and how her ministry helps people heal from trauma and grief through faith-led support and truth. • 105 She Chose Natural Healing Over Chemo: How to Trust God & Your Body in Healing with Kathy Thibodeau 11.05.2026 30min
What would you do if you were given a cancer diagnosis… and the recommended path didn’t feel right? In this episode, I’m joined by Kathy Thibodeau of Faithful Under Fire, who shares her powerful journey through stomach cancer, the decision to pursue natural healing instead of chemotherapy, and how her faith in God guided every step of that process. We talk about what it looks like to trust your body when everything around you is telling you not to, how to navigate fear and outside opinions, and why healing is about so much more than just physical symptoms. Kathy opens up about the pressure she faced, the mindset shifts she had to make, and how returning to foundational health and faith changed everything. You’ll also hear how she was later introduced to phototherapy patches, what initially made her skeptical, and how that experience became part of her ongoing healing journey—supporting her energy, recovery, and day-to-day life in a way she didn’t expect. This conversation is a reminder that you are not your diagnosis, that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and that sometimes the most powerful decisions come from learning how to quiet the noise and listen for God’s direction. If you’ve ever felt stuck, discouraged, or unsure of what your next step should be in your health journey, this episode will challenge you to think differently and remind you that there is always another path worth exploring. Trying to conceive can affect so much more than your body. It can start to change the way you relate to each other too. What begins as hope and excitement can slowly turn into pressure, stress, and disconnection, especially when intimacy starts to feel more scheduled than natural. In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Trina Read, Canadian sexologist and relationship expert, for an honest conversation about how couples can stay connected during the stress of TTC. We talk about why so many couples begin to feel emotionally distant during this season, how stress can spill into intimacy, and why learning to communicate your needs matters so much before pregnancy and parenting add even more pressure. Dr. Trina also shares simple ways couples can reconnect, support each other, and strengthen their relationship without making it feel like one more thing on the to-do list. If trying to conceive has started to feel heavy, mechanical, or lonely, this episode is an important reminder that your relationship needs care too.
