Trump Drags South Korea Into His Iran War | Silk and Steel 14.09.2026 45minTrump’s Iran war puts enormous pressure on America’s allies. South Korea is caught directly in the middle. In this episode, Carl Zha joins Jamarl Thomas to break down the growing pressure on South Korea to support the U.S. military operation around the Strait of Hormuz, despite growing public opposition.Carl explains why South Korea has limited room to resist Washington. This includes the U.S. military presence on the peninsula and South Korea’s economic dependence on American markets. The bigger question is whether America’s alliance system begins to crack under the pressure of wars that its allies did not choose. The conversation turns to the extreme rhetoric out of Washington: there are calls for the U.S. to consider military strikes against Chinese data centers if China gets to AGI first.Carl argues that this reveals a fundamental difference between American and Chinese approaches to AI. While Washington increasingly views AI through a military and geopolitical lens, China is focuses on practical applications such as autonomous vehicles, automated ports, mining and manufacturing. The discussion examines Venezuela’s oil, China’s previous experience in Iraq and Libya, and why Beijing may wait out Washington rather than to confront it directly.Other major topics include:🇰🇷 South Korea and the Strait of Hormuz🇺🇸 Why Washington pressures its allies to join the Iran conflict🇮🇷 Iran’s warning to countries that participate in the war🤖 Why Washington is obsessed with China’s AI development🇨🇳 China’s practical approach to AI vs. America’s military focus🛢️ Venezuela’s oil and the interests of U.S. oil companies🇨🇳 Why China could return to Venezuelan oil markets⛽ China’s massive strategic oil reserves and decline of imports📈 Chinese EVs and solar panels gain global market share🇦🇷 Argentina, beef exports and China’s economic leverage🇮🇩 How the Iran conflict affects Indonesia and Southeast Asia💵 The threat of the dollar system as geopolitical leverage🌏 China’s increased trade with the rest of the world, despite U.S. sanctions🇨🇳🇺🇸 The upcoming Trump–Xi confrontation and Washington’s negotiation strategy► Join UK Column Live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm UK time or watch previous live recordings here► [UK Column Website] Explore all our written and video content on the official UK Column website► [Support UK Column] Please donate to support our independent journalism & investigative journalism► [UK Column YouTube] Please subscribe to the UK Column News YouTube channel for more alternative news and independent newsFollow #UKColumn on:► X► Telegram► Facebook► Instagram -

The Difference Between Judaism and Zionism | Jerm Warfare 10.09.2026 1h 10minRabbi Yaakov Shapiro separates Judaism from Zionism. Judaism is a religion rooted in the covenant at Mount Sinai; Zionism is a 19th-century political movement born of an identity crisis among assimilated Jews.He calls Jewish nationalism a form of idol worship that strips Judaism of its spiritual core and urges a clean split between Jewish identity and the Israeli state.► Join UK Column Live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm UK time or watch previous live recordings here► [UK Column Website] Explore all our written and video content on the official UK Column website ► [Support UK Column] Please donate to support our independent journalism & investigative journalism ► [UK Column YouTube] Please subscribe to the UK Column News YouTube channel for more alternative news and independent newsFollow #UKColumn on:► X► Telegram► Facebook ► Instagram -

We cover how Hollywood, pop culture and the national security state intertwine, why conspiracy theories are ridiculed, and how cancel culture works as social control.Sean questions the official 9/11 narrative, the manipulation of forensic evidence, and the influence of Freemasonry, bloodlines, and spiritual warfare in politics. Austrian Economics and Zionism | Jerm Warfare 08.09.2026 1h 4minCuban-born Austrian economist Jorge Besada explains why human decisions matter more than numbers in economics, and why private property is the true foundation of both innovation and free speech. He takes a critical look at Zionism, which began as a response to anti-Semitism but became a lasting source of conflict, and compares it with the Soviet Union as another flawed ideology built on coercion.Rather than blame secret plots, Besada argues that history's ideological errors emerge naturally over time, not through conspiracy. He also shares his view that a one-state solution in Israel, grounded in reason and strong property rights, could offer a genuine way forward.https://besada.com► Join UK Column Live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm UK time or watch previous live recordings here► [UK Column Website] Explore all our written and video content on the official UK Column website ► [Support UK Column] Please donate to support our independent journalism & investigative journalism ► [UK Column YouTube] Please subscribe to the UK Column News YouTube channel for more alternative news and independent newsFollow #UKColumn on:► X► Telegram► Facebook ► Instagram -
Military Matters: Episode 10 08.09.2026 1h 5minAs war propaganda ramps up across the UK mainstream media, Charles Malet and Brian Gerrish look at the way in which the Ministry of Defence exploits its own service personnel — particularly with videos like this. Later in the discussion, the tone changes to examine the alarming drop in morale aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln after the announcement that the aircraft carrier would return to San Diego. The episode finishes on a cliffhanger which will be revisited in the next episode. Brian asks of the apparently inevitable conflict with Russia: “What is this war designed to do?”► Join UK Column Live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm UK time or watch previous live recordings here ► [UK Column Website] Explore all our written and video content on the official UK Column website ► [Support UK Column] Please donate to support our independent journalism & investigative journalism ► [UK Column YouTube] Please subscribe to the UK Column News YouTube channel for more alternative news and independent newsFollow #UKColumn on:► X► Telegram► Facebook ► Instagram -
30,000 vs 500,000: Xiang Yu’s Stunning Defeat of Liu Bang | Silk and Steel 07.09.2026 1h 8minThe Chu–Han Contention takes another dramatic turn as Liu Bang appears to have the war firmly in his hands. After he breaks out of the Sichuan Basin and rapidly conquers the former Qin heartland, Liu Bang gathers an enormous coalition of forces. With the support of Han Xin, Zhang Liang, Xiao He, Chen Ping and a growing collection of regional rulers, his alliance eventually numbers hundreds of thousands of troops. Then Liu Bang makes his move.He marches east and captures Pengcheng, the capital and headquarters of Xiang Yu.It looks like the decisive moment of the war.But Xiang Yu is still in Qi—and rather than retreat with his entire army, he makes an extraordinary gamble. He takes only around 30,000 elite cavalry, including the powerful Loufan mounted troops, and races back toward Pengcheng through an unexpected route.Liu Bang's enormous army is caught off guard. What follows becomes one of the most spectacular reversals of the Chu–Han war.In this episode of the Silk and Steel Chinese History Series, Carl Zha and JJ explore:• Liu Bang's breakout from the Sichuan Basin• The collapse of the former Qin kingdoms• Why so many rulers switched allegiance to Liu Bang• The rivalry between Qi and Zhao• Xiang Yu's disastrous campaign in Qi• How Xiang Yu's treatment of conquered populations created new rebellions• The remarkable life and rise of strategist Chen Ping• Why Liu Bang valued talent over moral reputation• Chen Ping's escape from Xiang Yu's camp• Liu Bang's enormous 560,000-man coalition• The capture of Pengcheng• Xiang Yu's incredible 30,000-man cavalry counterattack• The battlefield tactics behind the Pengcheng disaster• Why Liu Bang's victory suddenly became a catastrophe• Xiang Yu's extraordinary military ability—and his political weaknesses• Ying Bu and the growing cracks inside Xiang Yu's coalition• How Zhang Liang helped Liu Bang survive the disaster• Why Xiang Yu may have won the battle but ultimately lost the war• Mao Zedong's later use of Xiang Yu's failure as a historical lessonThe episode ends with Liu Bang badly weakened and many of his allies defect back to Xiang Yu—but Zhang Liang sees an opportunity that could change the entire war.The battle may be over. The war is not.► Join UK Column Live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm UK time or watch previous live recordings here► [UK Column Website] Explore all our written and video content on the official UK Column website ► [Support UK Column] Please donate to support our independent journalism & investigative journalism ► [UK Column YouTube] Please subscribe to the UK Column News YouTube channel for more alternative news and independent newsFollow #UKColumn on:► X► Telegram► Facebook ► Instagram -
Return to Analogue and Beauty | Jerm Warfare Weekly Banter 07.09.2026 1h 4minJerm, Mike and Charles discuss technology's quiet costs. They weigh the ritual of mechanical watches against digital ones, challenge the "eight hours of sleep" myth, and consider how screens and artificial light disrupt health. They then turn to lighting itself, compare LED bulbs with incandescent ones, and flag the health worries and engineered obsolescence built into modern products. This widens into a broader critique of planned obsolescence and the decline of art and architecture, to contrast historic beauty with today's bland designs. Finally, they examine how media shapes truth and perception, and close with a call for open-mindedness and genuine engagement across different viewpoints.► Join UK Column Live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm UK time or watch previous live recordings here► [UK Column Website] Explore all our written and video content on the official UK Column website ► [Support UK Column] Please donate to support our independent journalism & investigative journalism ► [UK Column YouTube] Please subscribe to the UK Column News YouTube channel for more alternative news and independent newsFollow #UKColumn on:► X► Telegram► Facebook ► Instagram -

Mark Playne | A Thousand Words (Part 1 of 3) 06.09.2026 48minIn the first part of their conversation, Mark Playne, the founder of Not On The Beeb, traces his path from private grief to public activism—his mother's cancer diagnosis, the research binge that followed her death, and a family story about a great-grandparent's friendship with Rudolf Steiner. He touches on how he has used AI to expose censorship. He talks through the disputed crowd numbers from the early protests, his prediction of a 2020 economic "reset," and his theories about what the injections really were.Mark explains why marches and petitions are worthwhile even when they do not shift government policy. He also says that trauma is usually what pushes people to question things they would otherwise ignore, and that British social conditioning — politeness, conflict-avoidance, to not want to make a scene — is a big part of why people stay quiet even when something feels wrong to them. China Is Winning the Global Power Shift — America Is Running Out of Options | Silk and Steel 04.09.2026 1h 2minIn this conversation, Carl Zha joins Dr. David Oualaalou to examine China’s economic, military, and diplomatic influence, and what it means for the future of U.S. power. The discussion begins with China’s successful military exports, particularly the J-10C fighter jet. After Pakistan’s use of Chinese aircraft in its conflict with India, countries that surround India now look toward Chinese weapons systems as a cost-effective alternative to Western platforms.Carl argues that China’s advantage goes beyond individual weapons. Its enormous industrial base, technological development, electronics expertise and pool of STEM graduates create a foundation for growth in civilian and military technology. The conversation turns to strategic consequences for Southeast Asia, South Korea and Japan: As Washington attempts to place more of the burden of military containment on its allies, countries in the region are forced to reconsider their relationships with China and the United States. The discussion examines the increased importance of BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, particularly on their potential role to create an alternative financial and economic architecture outside of U.S. dollar dominance.Carl explains why he believes de-dollarization is accelerated by Washington's use of financial sanctions, and why countries see dependence on the dollar as both an advantage and a vulnerability. Then there is the Belt and Road Initiative and China's expanding transportation and energy infrastructure across Central Asia. New rail links through Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan could dramatically shorten routes between China, Central Asia and Iran while it provides alternatives to vulnerable maritime chokepoints. The conversation explores China's energy security, which includes pipelines from Russia and Central Asia, renewable energy, nuclear power and the strategic importance to reduce dependence on maritime oil routes.India receives particular scrutiny. Carl and David debate India's attempt to maintain relationships with both Washington and the BRICS countries. They argue that India's strategic balancing act becomes more difficult as its economic and energy interests pull it toward China and the wider Global South. The discussion then moves to the Gulf states—Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE and Bahrain, and their growing economic connections with Asia. Finally, Carl discusses Xi Jinping's diplomatic engagements, such as his planned visit to Egypt, and explains why he believes China's strategy is not necessarily to destroy the American-led system, but rather to manage a gradual transition toward a multipolar world with an effort to prevent a chaotic collapse of the current financial order. Is the era of uncontested American dominance to come to an end?Does China build the infrastructure, alliances, and financial systems that will define what comes next?Watch the full conversation and decide for yourself.► Join UK Column Live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm UK time or watch previous live recordings here ► [UK Column Website] Explore all our written and video content on the official UK Column website ► [Support UK Column] Please donate to support our independent journalism & investigative journalism ► [UK Column YouTube] Please subscribe to the UK Column News YouTube channel for more alternative news and independent newsFollow #UKColumn on:► X► Telegram► Facebook ► Instagram
