Do you feel like you are constantly measuring your success in life against others? And that you fall victim to over-comparison and negative self talk? This episode helps you break apart this behaviour, allowing you to appreciate what you have in the moment! See how Missy can help by visiting her website - https://www.missymaioranocoaching.com/ Follow Missy on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/missymaiorano2/ ABOUT MISSY: Hi! I'm Missy Maiorano, Certified Change Coach. If you have found me, there is a good chance that you’ve been on a healing journey for a little while. Perhaps you’re suffering with chronic physical symptoms or the emotional sensations of anxiety, panic, or overwhelm. Please know that I deeply understand what that’s like because I have been there, too. During a lengthy battle with chronic hives and idiopathic angioedema (facial swelling), I found myself anxious, hopeless, and depressed. My world became very small. I tried everything to heal, but I was always left with a sense of, “I’m still not OK.” And then, I stumbled across a new understanding of who I am beyond a lifetime of unquestioned beliefs and stories. I saw that there was so much less to do than I ever imagined. As I began to un-learn decades of conditioning, I rediscovered the innate peace, joy, and wellbeing that were there all along. In the process of letting go of who I “should be” and how life “is supposed to unfold,” the barriers to true healing dissolved. If you’re ready to see the world of healing through a new lens, I’d love to offer my support. There’s so much to be remembered and rediscovered. It’s all already within you. • Motherhood and ADHD - Why Mums Should Put Themselves First 02.06.2026 1h 1min
Get in touch to see how I can help you! https://giftedwithadhd.co.uk/ In this episode of Gifted With ADHD, Juliet talks with Marie Arymar, coach, author and host of Precarious Parenting. They discuss all things motherhood and ADHD, from behaviour management to organisation. Most mothers NEVER put themselves first, this episode explores the idea of investing time and patience into yourself, helping you realise that you ARE enough, and that you are a good parent. MARIE BIO: Most of the mums I work with are holding everything together on the outside — and quietly unravelling on the inside. Most of the young people I work with feel like no one really gets them.      My work is simple, but it's not always easy to hear: you're more okay than you think. And so are your kids.      As a Clarity® Coach, I work one-to-one online with mums and young people (from age 9 upwards). I don't give advice or fix problems. I listen deeply, ask the right questions, and help people find their way back to what they already know — because the answers are usually already there, buried under the noise.        I'm also the author of Do You Want To Know A Secret? — a short, illustrated book about inbuilt resilience, for ages 8 to adult. Available on Amazon.        I'm the host of Precarious Parenting — a podcast of honest, real stories from real people. Available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon.        Plus I'm the creator of Us, In Our Words — a recorded conversation that captures the love, laughter and stories between two people. A keepsake, for keeps.    Socials: FB: https://www.facebook.com/RealisationWorks/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/marie-arymar-b1473371/ TikTok: @ThatAuntyVibe  https://www.tiktok.com/@realisationworks?_r=1&_t=ZN-95JG1719lkE Website: https://www.realisationworks.com/ - People can connect here and subscribe to my emails (infrequent!) • The RAIN Technique - How To Calm Yourself Down When Feeling Overwhelmed 29.05.2026 13min
Get in touch to see how I can help you! https://giftedwithadhd.co.uk/ In this episodeof Gifted With ADHD. Juliet introduces us to the RAIN technique, a useful tool that you can use to calm yourself down when feeling overwhelmed. This technique enables you to reconnect with your body by tapping into your senses, and practicing it often will allow you to centralise yourself if you feel that you are slipping into a spiral of chaotic thought! HOST BIO Juliet was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 50, after a lifetime of believing she was fundamentally flawed—without realising there was a biological explanation behind her struggles. Years of executive dysfunction, perimenopause, and rising anxiety had left her overwhelmed and questioning her own potential. Her diagnosis marked a turning point. She immersed herself in understanding ADHD and, in doing so, discovered something even more transformative: a spiritual perspective on what it means to be human. Through this lens, Juliet was able to release limiting identities shaped by five decades of misunderstanding herself. She learned how to navigate emotions—like anxiety—with greater ease. She has two-years training in counselling and now has an established coaching practice supporting adults. Blending practical strategies with grounded spirituality, Juliet helps her clients find clarity, inner peace, and the confidence to live their life with purpose to reach their full potential and thrive with ADHD.
