Ep. 62 Spiritual Warfare in Christian Business: How to Stand Against the Enemy and Guard Your God-Given Territory 14.09.2026 20minEpisode 62 Spiritual Warfare in Christian Business: How to Stand Against the Enemy and Guard Your God-Given Territory You know God has called you to build, but lately it feels as though every step forward is met with resistance. You’ve already survived a hard season. You’re rebuilding your confidence, trying to hear God clearly, and taking steps toward the Christian business He has placed on your heart. But when opposition comes, it can leave you questioning yourself, feeling discouraged, or wondering why something God called you to do suddenly feels so difficult. This is where discernment matters. In this episode of The Called CEO Podcast, Monique Hackett shares biblical and practical principles for understanding spiritual warfare in Christian business and learning how to guard the territory God has entrusted to you. You’ll discover why spiritual opposition can arise around a God-given assignment, what it means to stand at the gate of your business, and why you cannot allow fear or the size of the opposition to become greater in your mind than the greatness of your God. Through David’s battle with Goliath, Jehoshaphat’s battle in 2 Chronicles 20, Paul and Silas praying and worshipping at midnight, and Monique’s own recent experience with midnight prayer, you’ll learn how to approach spiritual warfare from a position of faith, obedience and Christ’s finished victory. In this episode, you’ll discover: • How to recognize spiritual opposition around your God-given business assignment • What it means to guard your business and the territory God has entrusted to you • Why your focus matters when you’re facing fear, resistance or intimidation • Why checking your alignment with God is an important part of spiritual warfare • How prayer and praying in the Spirit help you seek God’s strategy • How midnight prayer and worship can become part of your warfare strategy • Why you fight from Christ’s victory, not trying to earn a victory He has already won You don’t have to allow resistance to convince you to abandon what God told you to build. Know your God. Know His Word. Guard your territory. Seek His strategy. And stand. Ready to Get Unstuck and Move Forward? Ep.60 Kingdom Business & Productivity How Faithful Stewardship Leads to Greater Authority 08.09.2026 26minEPISODE 60: Kingdom Business & Productivity: How Faithful Stewardship Leads to Greater Authority What are you doing with what God has already placed in your hands? As a Christian woman building a Kingdom business, you may be praying for greater influence, increase, opportunity, or territory. But in Luke 19:11–27, Jesus shows us an important principle: what we do with what we've already been entrusted with matters. In this episode of The Called CEO Podcast, we're talking about the connection between productivity, faithful stewardship, spiritual authority, and greater territory. The servant in Luke 19 didn't simply hold on to what his master gave him—he traded with it, produced increase, and was ultimately entrusted with greater authority. We'll explore what this means for you as a Christian entrepreneur, why being productive with what God has placed in your hands matters, and why developing your capacity may be part of preparing you to carry more. Maybe part of God's answer to “Lord, enlarge my territory” is: “I'm enlarging you.” Scripture: Luke 19:11–27 READY TO MOVE FORWARD? Ep. 59 How to Succeed in Kingdom Business: 5 Biblical Principles for Possessing Your God-Given Territory 31.08.2026 26minHow to Succeed in Kingdom Business: Five Biblical Principles for Possessing Your God-Given Territory God has called you to build, but being called to the marketplace doesn't mean there won't be resistance when it's time to possess what He has entrusted to you. Maybe you're rebuilding after a hard season and finally beginning to move forward again. You know God has placed something inside of you, but building your business feels harder than you expected. Fear shows up. Resistance comes. You question whether you're equipped. And sometimes, despite being a high-capacity woman who is accustomed to figuring things out, you simply don't know what to do next. In this episode of The Called CEO Podcast, we're looking at Kingdom business through the story of Joshua and Israel entering the Promised Land. Crossing the Jordan wasn't the end of their journey—they still had to possess the territory God had already promised them. And there are powerful principles in their journey for us as Christian entrepreneurs today. You'll discover five biblical principles for possessing your God-given territory, including the importance of courage, consecration, obedience, partnering with the Holy Spirit, and taking both the spiritual and practical action required to steward your calling well. Because building a business with God requires more than strategy alone. As a Kingdom entrepreneur, you're not called to approach the marketplace exactly as the world does. There are practical things you must learn and execute—and there are spiritual battles you cannot win with natural weapons. If God has called you into business, coaching, ministry, entrepreneurship, or another area of the marketplace, this episode will help you think differently about what it means to steward, build, and possess the territory God has entrusted to you. Ep. 57 How to Hear God Clearly: Positioning Your Heart to Receive His Direction in Life & Business 24.08.2026 30minEpisode 57:Hear God Clearly — Positioning Your Heart to Receive His Direction in Life & Business You've asked God for direction more times than you can count. You've prayed over the decision, the offer, the next step in your business — and still found yourself wondering, "Was that God, or was that just what I wanted to hear?" What if the real question isn't "how do I hear God more clearly," but "is my heart even positioned to hear Him?" In this episode, I walk through the story of Solomon — a new king facing an assignment far bigger than himself, who didn't ask God for wealth, long life, or victory over his enemies. He asked for a hearing heart. The Hebrew phrase, lev shomea, means exactly that — a heart that can truly listen. We talk about what it actually looks like to position your heart to hear God: guarding against a hardened heart that resists correction, cultivating real intimacy so you recognize His voice the way you'd recognize someone close to you, and testing what you believe you're hearing against His Word. I also unpack the sobering second half of Solomon's story — how a man who began by asking for a hearing heart later let his heart turn away — and what that means for you as you steward whatever God has entrusted to you, whether that's your identity, your calling, or your business. Because hearing God was never meant to stop at revelation. It was meant to lead to discernment, wisdom, and ultimately, obedience. If you've been asking God for a strategy, this episode invites you to ask for something first: a heart that can truly hear Him as you build. 🎧 Listen now. Ep 56 Kingdom Business: How to Build With God and Follow His Blueprint — Part 1 17.08.2026 22minKingdom Business: How to Build With God and Follow His Blueprint — Part 1 You know God has called you to build, but are you building from His blueprint, or simply following strategies that worked for someone else? As Christian entrepreneurs, we can learn marketing, sales, strategy, and business, but information was never meant to become our source. God is our Source. In this episode of The Called CEO Podcast, we’re going back to Genesis 1:28 to explore God’s original mandate of fruitfulness, multiplication, stewardship, and dominion, and what those principles can teach us about building a Kingdom business with God. We’ll also look at Joseph and Daniel and see how God-given revelation, wisdom, practical strategy, and excellent stewardship can work together. If fear, insecurity, comparison, or uncertainty have caused you to shrink what God has placed in your hands, this episode will challenge you to reconsider how you’re building. Kingdom business doesn’t mean we don’t need strategy. It means strategy is not our god. Ready to Go From Unstuck to Building? Ep. 55 When God Calls You to Build: Hearing His Voice, Letting Go of Self-Reliance & Doing Business His Way with Dr. Faith Nanyonga 13.08.2026 1h 14minWhen God Calls You to Build: Hearing His Voice, Letting Go of Self-Reliance & Doing Business His Waywith Dr. Faith Nanyonga You've prayed. You've fasted. You've asked God the same question a hundred times “What do You want me to do?" and some days it feels like He's silent. Dr. Faith Nanyonga knows that silence too. She had a PhD, a master's, a career in biotechnology she'd worked years to build. Then, ten days before Christmas, she got an email and a text on the same day: her contract was over, effective immediately. No warning. No severance conversation. Just, unemployed, in the middle of the holidays, with two young kids at home. If you've ever done everything "right" the degree, the resume, the years of experience, and still found yourself unemployed, unsure, or waiting on God with no answer in sight, this episode is for you. In this conversation, Faith shares: - What it actually felt like to lose her job with no notice, right before Christmas, and how she kept believing God even when ten months of job searching led nowhere- The moment a pastor told her the truth she needed to hear: "It's insanity to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result — cease from your labor and involve God"- How a 3-day fast turned into a dream that told her, word for word, what God was calling her to build- Why God led her into a 90-day fast the following year — and what changed in her business, her clarity, and her ability to hear His voice by the end of it- The identity she had to let die — her PhD, her accolades, the things she used to lead with when someone asked "tell me about yourself" — before she could actually walk in what God was calling her to- Practical wisdom on how to actually hear God's voice: expectation, sensitivity, and communion, not just information If you're in a season of waiting, for the job, for the clarity, for the "yes" from God, Faith's story will remind you that the silence isn't punishment. Sometimes it's preparation. You've fasted. You've asked God to heal the places that still feel tender. But some days, you still catch yourself reacting instead of responding — to criticism, to a slow month, to a client who pushes your boundaries. You wonder if healing is even really happening, or if you're just managing the same wounds over and over. In this episode, I walk you through what it actually looks like when God heals your soul — not in theory, but in the real, ongoing journey of repentance, forgiveness, the renewing of your mind, daily surrender, and your identity in Christ. We talk about the difference between responding from a healed place and reacting from a wounded one, why healing is sometimes instant and sometimes progressive (and why that doesn't mean you're doing it wrong), and what Scripture actually says about guarding your heart — the inner person driving every decision you make. And because your soul and your calling were never meant to be separate, I also unpack why the wounds you haven't healed don't stay contained to your personal life. They follow you into your pricing, your visibility, your boundaries, and how you show up when God brings increase. God isn't healing your soul so you can stay where you are. He's healing you because He knows exactly what He's preparing you to carry. 🎧 Listen now. Ready to move from stuck to actually building what God has called you to? Ep. 53 Rest Is the New Revenue Breaking Free From Hustle and Burnout with Dr. Shamieka Dean 30.07.2026 1hEpisode 53: Rest Is the New Revenue — Breaking Free From Hustle and Burnout with Dr. Shamieka Dean You've done everything right. You prayed. You fasted. You worked hard, harder than you probably should have. And somehow, you're still exhausted, still striving, still wondering why obedience feels this heavy. Maybe you've had a season where everything you touched used to prosper, and now it feels like you're working twice as hard just to keep things from falling apart. Maybe you've started to wonder if burnout, anxiety, or that constant feeling of "not enough" is just the price of being a high-achieving woman of faith. In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Shamieka Dean — spiritual mentor, business strategist, and best-selling author — who shares her own journey from explosive, rapid success (including a single event that brought in $305K in one day) to a hospital bed diagnosis of burnout that forced her to completely rebuild her life, her faith, and her business from the ground up. Dr. Dean opens up about what it really means to shift from self-reliance to source-reliance, why so many of us unknowingly carry a punitive, performance-based image of God that keeps us stuck in hustle, and how healing her nervous system became just as important as healing her spirit. We talk about: - Why working harder is often a sign you're out of alignment, not a sign of faithfulness- How your image of God directly shapes whether you build from striving or from rest- What it practically looks like to build a business with clear boundaries, without guilt- Why receiving blessings can be harder for high-achieving women than giving them- Her simple five-step framework for rebuilding a business rooted in rest, not urgency If you've ever felt like slowing down means falling behind, this conversation will challenge everything you thought you knew about what it means to be faithful with what God has given you. 🎧 Listen to the full episode now. Ep. 52 The Hidden Reason Your Business Keeps Struggling — Unhealed Wounds Christian Women Overlook 27.07.2026 27minEpisode 52: The Hidden Reason Your Business Keeps Struggling — Unhealed Wounds Christian Women Overlook You have prayed over your business. You have asked God to bless it, grow it, and prosper it. But no matter how hard you work, something keeps holding you back — you undercharge when you know you should charge more. You tolerate clients who disrespect your boundaries. You hesitate to be visible, even when you know God told you to speak. You wonder why increase always seems to come with chaos, criticism, or a setback that knocks you right back down. What if the real issue isn't your strategy, your pricing, or your marketing? What if it's something deeper — an unhealed wound quietly running your business from behind the scenes? In this episode, I'm continuing the conversation we started in the emotional numbness series, going deeper into where our deepest wounds actually come from — whether it's something that happened directly to you, patterns passed down in your bloodline, things you absorbed simply by watching the people around you growing up, or beliefs you picked up from the culture and environment you were raised in. I walk through the story of Saul — a man who was anointed, chosen, and placed into leadership by God, but whose unaddressed fear of people and jealousy eventually cost him everything he was entrusted to steward. I unpack exactly how those same unhealed places show up in your business today: in your pricing, your boundaries, your ability to delegate, your visibility, and the way you respond when God brings increase. Because here's the truth — increase does not just bless you. It reveals what is still unhealed in you. If you have ever felt like something invisible was sabotaging your success just when things start to move, this episode will help you understand why — and what God actually wants to do about it. 🎧 Listen now and let this be the beginning of your healing. Ep. 51 Become Her How Rachel Lanter Found Her Kingdom Identity Through Hard Seasons 16.07.2026 1h 46minBecome Her: How Rachel Lanter Found Her Kingdom Identity Through Hard Seasons You've walked through a hard season that left you questioning everything you thought you knew about yourself. You've lost your confidence. You've struggled to hear God's voice clearly. You feel suspended between who you were and who God is calling you to become. Deep down, you know God has called you to build something — but you're not sure where to start, how to position yourself, or how to build it in a way that's actually sustainable. If any of that sounds like you, this conversation is for you. In this episode, Monique sits down with Rachel Lanter — Christian minister, speaker, author, and communication strategist — for an honest conversation about rebuilding your identity, hearing God again, and stepping into the kingdom purpose you've been carrying. Rachel shares her own journey from a young entrepreneurial spirit working alongside her father in business, through her own wilderness season, into discovering who God truly created her to be. Rachel is the author of Become Her, a transformational framework built around four seasons of becoming the woman God created you to be: Daughter, Maiden, Bride, and Queen. Written from the middle of her own valley season, this book gives you language for the season you're in right now, and a biblical roadmap for what God is actually doing through it. Rachel is also the founder of The Lioness Woman Ministries and host of Kingdom Encounter Thursdays, where she ministers and equips believers through the Word of God each week. If this conversation encouraged you, we'd love for you to leave a review and share it with another woman walking through her own hard season. Ep. 50 Emotional Numbness: The Silent Struggle of Driven Christian Women (Part 1) 13.07.2026 17minEmotional Numbness: The Silent Struggle of Driven Christian Women (Part 1) You keep showing up. You keep leading. You keep holding everyone else together. But somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling it, the joy, the excitement, even the pain. You're functioning, but you're not really there, and you can't remember the last time you laughed from your belly. If you're a high-capacity, high-achieving Christian woman who has been carrying so much for so long that you've quietly disconnected from yourself, this episode is for you. Monique unpacks what emotional numbness really is, why the woman who keeps fixing, rescuing, serving, and leading is often the one who goes numb the most, and how God meets that numbness, not with shame, but with tenderness. Rooted in Isaiah 61 and the story of Elijah, this is Part 1 of a two-part conversation on emotional healing. 🎙️ Follow the podcast: @thecalledceopodcast Connect with me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thecalledceopodcast?igsh=MTl2NzBwNmtpMWZzNg%3D%3D&utm_source=qr 📝 Read more on Substack: https://substack.com/@thecalledceo?r=88u7sn&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=stories&shareImageVariant=image 📅 Book a free discovery call: https://tidycal.com/moniquehackett/discovery-call -
Ep.49 Self-Reliance: The Hidden Sin Blocking Your Breakthrough 06.07.2026 17minSelf-Reliance: The Hidden Sin Blocking Your Breakthrough Do you feel fueled and driven, always finding a way to make things happen… but exhausted from carrying it all alone? If you often move fast on ideas, execute before you pray, or find yourself asking God to bless decisions you’ve already made instead of asking Him to lead — this episode is for you. In today’s episode, Monique unpacks self-reliance: the subtle pattern that can quietly move God from the center of your life and your business, even when you love Him deeply. Through the stories of Abraham, Sarah, and Moses, Monique shows how good intentions and clear vision can still lead us into our own timing instead of God’s. She shares a personal, vulnerable testimony of what self-reliance has cost her, and walks you through practical signs to recognize this pattern in yourself — plus the simple daily practice that shifts everything. If you’re a high-capacity Christian woman rebuilding after a hard season, learning to lead your business without leaving God out of the process, this conversation will meet you exactly where you are.
