The bigger the BEEF, the longer the CLIP (Bar from Jadakiss) 19.08.2026 14mntThe bigger the beef, the longer the clip you need. Conflict is not a sign something is wrong. It is the size of what you are trying to accomplish. Your goal, your problem, your obstacle... that is the beef. And the clip is your capacity to handle it. More bullets. More action. More time and thought. More energy and focus. Most people underestimate what it takes to win and then wonder why the world feels like it is working against them. It is not working against you. You just brought a short clip to a long fight. I break down why respecting your opponent (the goal, the competition, the challenge) means loading up before you engage, not after you get caught short. Load the clip. Unload it. Attack. Reload. Repeat until you have what you came for. Then I ask you the only question that matters right now: what is the ONE goal that if you nailed it in the next 90 days would make this year a real win for you? Go to imnotyou.com/lockin to enroll in a 90 day coaching program for only $90, and reach your goal. -
Dig to the ROOTS (or Keep Struggling) 11.08.2026 8mntJames Allen wrote it over a hundred years ago, and it's still the truest thing I know: "Whatsoever you harbor in the innermost chambers of your heart will, sooner or later, by the inevitable law of reaction, shape itself in your outward life." Your thoughts, your beliefs, your unhealed pain, they don't stay hidden. They show up as your life. In this episode I get into what's actually driving your repeated patterns of failure and frustration. It's not the market, not your team, not bad luck. It's your fear of failure. It's the belief that you're worthless underneath it all. It's your fear of being rejected. These are the roots, and until you dig to them, nothing changes. Your only job right now is honesty. Follow your feelings and ask yourself what actually feels true in this moment. That's uncomfortable, and it's the only path to real growth. The new tools, the new plans, the new team, the new relationship, the new job, the new body, the new money, none of it fixes what's underneath. Only facing the roots does. -
How the EGO keeps you stuck (without you even knowing) 07.08.2026 9mntYour ego is running way more decisions than you think, and it's not trying to help you win. In this episode I break down how the ego operates, why bad choices feel right in the moment and good choices feel wrong, and what to actually do about it. The ego isn't the enemy. It's part of being human, and you can't kill it off. What you can do is make it flexible instead of rigid. Right now it's probably running stiff, defending itself, convincing you that comfort is the same thing as correct. Here's the trap. When you flash out at someone, when you eat the fries on the diet, when you go for revenge instead of growth, that feels right because your ego is chasing comfort, not chasing what's actually good for you. And on the flip side, the moves that could change your life, a new team, a new contract, a new relationship, those feel wrong because your ego reads change as threat. It creates false urgency to get you to bail before you have to sit in the discomfort of doing something real. I give you a simple filter for this. Anger, pressure, urgency, those are ego signals. When you feel them, force yourself to wait. Take no action for 1-2 days and watch what actually needs to happen once the noise clears. And after any decision that blew up on you, ask yourself what the real motivation behind it was. If the honest answer is pressure, urgency, or need, that's your ego talking, not you. If you're ready to stop letting your ego run your decisions and want direct, personalized coaching to build real self leadership, book a call with me at imnotyou.com/coaching. -
Live like your parents are DEAD 04.08.2026 12mntAt 20, I found out my ex girlfriend was pregnant. I stared at the ceiling for an hour, drowning in guilt, shame, and the fear of what my church going family would think. I ended up back with her. Had another kid. Spent almost 10 years in an on and off toxic relationship, three failed engagements, all because I was chasing my dad's approval instead of building my own life. He was a devoted Christian who wanted me married, and he never seemed to care that we weren't right for each other. I wasn't even living my own beliefs, I was living his. In this episode I break down why so many of you are still doing the same thing: running your adult life on programming you inherited and never actually chose. I get into why re-evaluating everything you were taught isn't disrespect, it's required. And why living like your parents are dead, no longer needing their approval, is the only way you build a kingdom that's actually yours. Reality Check: You think you're changing, but you are not (The realities of change) 31.07.2026 17mntYou think you're changing. You're not. Most of what people call growth is just a new way to avoid pain. Your body is wired for survival, homeostasis. Change registers as a threat. So when your relationship fails and you try again, only to repeat the same patterns with new fears layered on top, that's not growth. When you overtrain, get injured, then pull back and call it wisdom, that's not growth either. It's avoidance dressed up as evolution. Real change requires four things: a genuine disgust with how things have gone, hyper awareness of your own patterns like a scientist studying a disease, a real strategy for new behavior, and a relentless spirit to carry it through. I break down why most people never actually change, and what it takes to break the cycle for real. Your challenge: spend 30 minutes today tracking the thoughts, fears, and emotions tied to the pattern that keeps repeating in your life. That's where hyper awareness starts. BARS: The Power of Emotional Flow (Excerpt from 50th Law) 30.07.2026 10mntYour mind won't shut off at night because there are stress loops still open in your brain and nervous system. This is what emotional flow fixes. Every night before bed, set a timer for 7 minutes. Grab a pen and paper or a voice recorder. Then let everything out, every thought, every emotion, every idea sitting in your head. Don't try to organize it. Don't try to do it right. Just keep the thought vomit going until the timer stops. I break down why emotional flow works, how it helps close the open loops keeping you buzzing and antsy at night, and why doing this consistently changes the quality of your sleep and your headspace the next day. Start tonight. See you in the Jungle. For more tools like this, grab the free Pressure Protocol training at imnotyou.com/pressure -
DOMINATE your woman (just like you dominate your sport) 29.07.2026 14mntYou dominate your sport but hand the keys of your relationship straight to your woman. You call it fairness. It's fear. Athletes and high performers build their careers on clarity, control, and uncompromising standards. Then they get into a relationship and turn into a pillow. Soft. Yielding. Compromising. Borrowing beliefs from Disney movies, social media, and politics instead of running their own process. The result: a sexless marriage, a platonic friendship dressed up as a partnership, and a woman who resents you for refusing to lead. I break down why the same principles that make you dominant in your sport, knowing what you want, building the process, executing with precision, are the exact principles missing from your relationship. This isn't about controlling her. It's about reclaiming the identity you already know how to build everywhere else in your life. If you're ready to stop denying your instincts and start leading like the Killa you already are on the field, email me ay niyi@imnotyou.com and tell me a little about your situation. -
The game has changed... 17.07.2026 17mntInformation is not your problem. Fear is. You have access to AI, YouTube, books, experts, every tool imaginable. And you're still not moving. This episode breaks down exactly why, and what the three things are that will actually determine whether you win from here. The bottleneck is no longer what you know. It's whether you can take in the right information, act on it consistently, and adjust in real time when it's not working. Most people fail at step two. They build the plan, they feel good about the plan, and then fear convinces them the plan is too dangerous to actually run. Niyi breaks down exactly how fear operates, what it's protecting you from, and why everything it's calling dangerous is actually required for the result you want. When the vision feels so far away, and you're unsure how it will play out 03.07.2026 10mntYou keep looking at the whole mountain instead of the next step. That's why you're stuck. In this episode, Niyi breaks down a simple mindset from Charlie Munger: you get ahead step by step, not in fast spurts. Using the analogy of a team down 3-0 in a seven-game series and a cross-country drive from Portland to New York, Niyi shows you how to stop drowning in the size of your goal and start focusing on the next milestone and the next best action. If you've been stuck in a pattern of overwhelm, procrastination, or avoidance around your big goals, this episode gives you a way out that doesn't require having it all figured out. Ready to break the pattern for good? Go to imnotyou.com/dominance and book a call. -
Why You Keep Talking Yourself Out Of What You Want 26.06.2026 26mntYou're doing something right now that you don't actually want to be doing. Maybe you had a real idea about what you want, and somewhere between having it and acting on it, you talked yourself right out of it. Or maybe it's worse, you're walking around acting like you want something you actually don't. In this episode, Niyi breaks down what's really happening underneath that pattern: the desire that's real, the fear that isn't, and why the things you've probably already tried, forcing action, hyping yourself up, beating yourself up, don't work. He lays out what actually does, and why you can't see your own fear without help. This is exactly what DOMINANCE is built to solve. If you're done watching yourself talk yourself out of what you want, go to imnotyou.com/coaching and book a call. Let's go find it together. -
The Self Worship Ritual | All Praise Be To You 19.06.2026 22mntYou've been told worship belongs to God, never you. Today we flip that. Because the same hand that made the ocean, the sunset, every flower that's ever stopped you in your tracks, made you too. So when I say worship yourself, I'm not asking you to replace God. I'm asking you to stop disrespecting His work. This episode is an interactive ritual, not a lecture. I walk you through eight places to look: your favorite physical trait, the part of you you've been taught to hate, the shame you've been carrying, the quality you love most, the one you've been told to hide, your superpower, your jungle quality, and the person your pain built. You answer out loud. You write a declaration. You say it until you mean it. By the end, you're not performing confidence. You're agreeing with what God already said about you. Find somewhere quiet. Put this on. Do the work. If this one hit you, go deeper. Head to imnotyou.com/pressure and grab the Pressure Protocol free, your pre-game mental routine for staying calm and dominant under pressure. -
Self Respect | Part 2 17.06.2026 34mntSelf-respect isn't a feeling. It's a contract you make with yourself, and most people break it the second it gets uncomfortable. In Part 2, Niyi breaks down the two biggest mistakes that keep people stuck: making excuses for situations they know are wrong, and wasting years deliberating instead of moving. He gets into why self-respect in relationships isn't about leaving, it's about being willing to leave, and why some relationships simply don't survive once you stop tolerating disrespect. Real talk on the price you pay for confidence, a Frederick Douglass story that'll stick with you, and a wrestler making weight on his brother's birthday that perfectly captures what self-respect actually costs in the moment. How to Handle Pressure Like Jalen Brunson: Why Wemby and the Spurs Couldn't Stop the Knicks in the Largest Comeback in NBA Finals History 12.06.2026 15mntDown 29 points. NBA Finals. Madison Square Garden. The whole city watching. And after the game, somebody asked Jalen Brunson straight up, did the thought of losing cross your mind? He said yes. And then he said something most people missed, because they were too busy celebrating the comeback. In this episode, I break down exactly what Brunson said after the largest comeback in NBA Finals history, and why it matters more for your development as a competitor than the comeback itself. This is not a game recap. This is a mental performance breakdown that every serious athlete needs to hear. Most competitors have been told their whole career to block out the negative thoughts, stay positive, and push through it. But that approach is exactly what causes athletes to tighten up in the moments that matter most. Brunson did something different. And I'm going to walk you through what it was, why it works, and how you can start training the same mental state before your next game. We get into: What Brunson said on Inside the NBA that nobody is talking about Why fighting your thoughts under pressure makes everything worse The difference between an athlete who shrinks in big moments and one who shows up How to build the mental state that makes you dangerous when everything is on the line The mental game is a skill. And like any skill, it has to be trained before you need it. If this episode hits for you, The Pressure Protocol is your next step. It's a free audio training and guided pre-game visualization track built specifically for competitors who want to stop fighting pressure and start using it. Three mental shifts and one visualization that change how you show up when everything is on the line. Go get it at imnotyou.com/pressure. -
You've Been Dealing With Wins and Losses Wrong (Here's How to Fix It) | Bar from Kansas Kash 10.06.2026 19mntKobe said it best: the key to mental toughness is not getting too high or too low. Stay even keel. But most competitors never actually figure out how to do that, because they never deal with their relationship to wins and losses. In this episode, we break down exactly how a Killa celebrates a win and how a Killa learns from a loss. Not the feel-good version. The real version. The one that actually makes you better. Most people celebrate wrong. They feel good, reward themselves, and let the win write checks their habits haven't earned. Most people process losses wrong too. They sulk, dodge accountability, blame outside circumstances, or rush to conclusions that protect their ego instead of building their game. Killas do something different. They collect data on their wins. They feel the pain of a loss without letting it attach to their identity. They take responsibility without shame. And they get back in the fight quickly, but not in a hurry. Rudyard Kipling said, "If you can meet with triumph and disaster, and treat those two impostors the same." That's the standard. Wins and losses are just information. How you use them is everything. All we do is learn and win. That's it. DOMINANCE DOMINANCE is a 9-month live coaching experience where Niyi Sobo walks you step by step through the internal work required to break the hidden patterns keeping you stuck, rebuild your identity from the root, and lead yourself at the highest level. This is not motivation. This is reconstruction. Ready to do the work? Enroll at imnotyou.com/coaching -
You gotta do more than TRY (Bar from Prepaid Choke) 05.06.2026 19mntYou want that Super Bowl ring? Then trying is going to get you killed out here. I'm not talking about the literal Super Bowl. I'm talking about YOUR Super Bowl — whatever that thing is you're chasing that represents greatness in your sport, your career, your life. That thing you KNOW you're capable of but haven't grabbed yet. Here's the problem. You're trying. And trying is weak. Trying says I'm not sure. I might fail. I'll take action, but I don't really believe it'll work. That doubt bleeds into every rep, every decision, every moment that matters. It's like strapping 20-pound ankle weights on before the biggest game of your life. You're dragging yourself before you even start. Competition is not waiting for you to figure it out. Your opponents have already decided. And a lifestyle of trying is just a lifestyle of failing on repeat. In this episode I break down exactly what it takes to stop trying and start operating like someone who has actually decided to be great — how to clarify what's really required, build a real plan, and create the accountability systems that keep you moving whether you win or lose. And if you're ready to stop playing around and actually commit to the process — get into Killer Instinct. It's my system built specifically for competitive athletes who want clarity, structure, and the confidence to perform when it matters most. Go to imnotyou.com/coaching and book a call with me. Let's get to work. -
Down 30: The Art of Dominating When Life Isn't Going Your Way 30.05.2026 33mntEveryone can perform when life is easy. The real question is: What happens when you're down 30 points? What happens when the bills are piling up, motivation disappears, the results aren't coming, and every part of you wants to quit? In this episode, I break down the essential skills required to dominate under pressure. Not dominance as a feeling. Not dominance as confidence. But dominance as the ability to keep moving forward until you get what you want. You'll learn: Why most people quit long before they fail How to regulate your body when stress takes over How to separate reality from the stories you tell yourself Why the meaning you attach to events determines your future How to identify self-sabotaging behaviors in real time The skill of responding to setbacks, losses, and adversity How to create momentum when none exists Why high-quality action matters more than motivation The mindset required to persist until completion The goal is not to win one game. The goal is to become the type of person who wins as a pattern. A lifestyle of dominance. A lifestyle of growth. A lifestyle of self-mastery. If you're tired of starting over, tired of quitting on yourself, and ready to develop the skills required to dominate in every area of life, this episode is for you. Ready to Go Deeper? I've opened applications for DOMINANCE: A System for Self-Mastery—my live coaching program designed to help competitors master their internal world, eliminate self-sabotage, and develop true dominance in every area of life. Self Respect 28.05.2026 1j 15mntThis episode is built around one central truth: Self-respect is not a feeling. It's an internal agreement. Most people think self-respect is confidence, discipline, or a list of good habits. But real self-respect goes deeper than behavior. It's the internal standard that governs how you treat yourself, what you tolerate, the boundaries you enforce, and the choices you make when fear, emotion, or pressure try to pull you away from your worth. In this episode, I break down: What self-respect actually is Why many people unknowingly disrespect themselves How your worth became tied to external validation The connection between self-respect, boundaries, and enforcement The 3 Levels of Self-Respect The habits and patterns that quietly destroy self-respect How to build a life rooted in alignment, principle, and Self-leadership This is not motivation. This is about rebuilding the relationship you have with yourself. Because your life will always organize itself around the level of self-respect you truly have. If you're ready to stop betraying yourself, stop living from fear, and develop real Self-mastery, apply for Dominance — my coaching system designed to help you understand your psyche, break destructive patterns, and lead yourself at the highest level. The System For Dominance | Day 5: The Dominance Blueprint 22.05.2026 16mntFor years, I taught athletes and high performers how to access Killer Instinct — how to lock in, perform under pressure, and compete at a high level. But after going through one of the hardest seasons of my life, I realized something deeper: Performance strategies alone are not enough. Because no matter how ambitious, disciplined, or talented you are… if the patterns underneath the surface remain the same, your life will eventually reflect those patterns. Self-doubt. Pressure. Emotional inconsistency. Overthinking. Avoidance. Self-sabotage. Fear. Internal conflict. The inability to access your highest level consistently. And most people never truly transform because they never learn how to go inward and confront what's actually driving them. That journey is what led me to create Dominance. Dominance is a transformational coaching experience designed to help you master your internal world, break destructive patterns, develop true self-leadership, and create alignment in every area of your life. This is not surface-level self-help. This is not temporary motivation. And this is not another "positive thinking" program. This is deep identity-level work for people who know there is another level inside of them — and are ready to do the work required to unlock it. In this episode, I break down: What Dominance really is Why most people stay stuck The hidden internal patterns sabotaging growth My personal journey that led to creating this system Who Dominance is for — and who it's not for If something inside of you knows it's time for another level… Apply for Dominance here: imnotyou.com/coaching Spots will be limited, enrollment will only be open for a short time, and once this process begins, I do not plan on opening it again for a long time. It's time to stop living beneath your true level. It's time for Dominance. -
Why You Keep Repeating the Same Patterns | Day 4: The Dominance Blueprint 21.05.2026 16mntDAY 4 of The Dominance Blueprint. Everybody says they want self-mastery. Everybody says they want change. Everybody says they want the truth. Until the truth becomes uncomfortable. In this episode, we talk about why awareness is so difficult… and why most people stay trapped in the same emotional loops, habits, fears, and patterns for their entire lives. Because the patterns sabotaging your progress do not want to be seen. They will distract you. Justify themselves. Convince you to avoid the truth. Convince you to stay unconscious. This is why people avoid conversations. Avoid data. Avoid accountability. Avoid silence. Avoid themselves. And even when they KNOW what they're doing is hurting them… they still keep doing it. Why? Because true growth requires you to sit with what your awareness reveals. That is difficult. That creates resistance. That creates discomfort. But the resistance is not proof you're failing. The resistance is proof you're finally getting close to the truth. In this episode, I break down: Why awareness is painful Why most people unconsciously avoid the truth How emotional patterns protect themselves from exposure Why self-help and positive thinking fail long term What "hypnotic rhythm" really is How awareness slows life down enough for you to finally see the pattern Why awareness is the foundation of Dominance How awareness allows you to reclaim your true expression underneath the conditioning I also share lessons from my NFL experience and explain why veterans make the game look slow — not because the game changed, but because their awareness did. That same awareness can be developed internally. The more aware you become, the more clearly you begin to see: the masks the protectors the fears the conditioning the patterns that are standing between you and your true self And once you can truly see them… you can finally begin changing them. Tomorrow is the final episode of the series. I'm going to show you how to practically rebuild your internal world the same way you would rebuild your body in the gym. A systematic process for building elite awareness, retraining your patterns, and taking authority over your internal world. That is where Dominance truly begins. -
The Most Important Skill In Building Dominance | Day 3: The Dominance Blueprint 20.05.2026 9mntDAY 3 of The Dominance Blueprint. Most people think dominance is confidence, motivation, positive thinking, or "feeling locked in." But if that were true… why do you keep losing the feeling? Why do the same patterns keep returning? Why does self sabotage keep showing up? Why do you know what to do… but still don't do it? Because positive thinking is not awareness. Positive thinking tries to override the signal. Awareness investigates it. In this episode, I break down the single most important skill in building Dominance: AWARENESS. Not meditation. Not empty mindfulness. Not "just think positive." Real awareness. The kind that allows you to identify the loops, protectors, fears, and unconscious patterns that have been running your life beneath the surface. Because without awareness, you have no chance. You cannot lead what you refuse to look at. In this episode, we talk about: Why self-help often fails The difference between awareness and positive thinking Why your emotional reactions are signals, not enemies How protectors operate like overactive smoke alarms Why your patterns keep repeating The role awareness plays in destroying and rebuilding your internal world The questions you must begin asking yourself daily The goal is not to silence the signal. The goal is to understand what's actually happening beneath it. Tomorrow, we go even deeper: Why awareness is difficult… and why most people stay trapped in the same patterns for life. If you're ready to stop unconsciously obeying your conditioning and begin building real internal authority, this episode is for you.
