I’m a pharmacist, an introvert, and someone who is endlessly curious… so I made a podcast about it. Welcome to my thoughts on life, people, psychology, social issues, culture, and all the random things that keep me up at night.

  • The fear of getting married!! 11.08.2026 40min
Now, I’ve spent this whole episode unpacking why so many of us fear marriage: the doubts, the horror stories, the things we’ve seen go wrong. But let’s be honest about something else too. There are good marriages out there. Real ones. Ones where two people actually chose each other, and keep choosing each other, every single day. This isn’t about picking a side. It’s not men against women. It’s not “marriage is a trap” versus “marriage is the goal.” That’s not the conversation I want us to have. Because the truth is bigger than that. Marriage doesn’t fix a person, and it doesn’t break them either. It just amplifies who you already are, and who you’ve chosen to be with. And here’s the thing. I’m not married. But I’m learning that trust, communication, boundaries, knowing your worth… these aren’t marriage skills. They’re life skills. They don’t magically appear on your wedding day, and they don’t disappear if you never get married either. So whatever you decide, whether marriage is part of your story or not, decide it because you chose it. Not because you’re afraid, and not because you’re proving a point to anyone.Let’s choose well. For ourselves
