Do Chia Seeds Have ANY Benefits? 19.09.2026 5minChia seeds have been used for thousands of years. Watch this video to find out about their #1 benefit. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: Chia seeds and omega-3s 1:30 Chia seeds nutrition facts 1:52 The real benefit of chia seeds 2:02 Chia seed pudding 3:32 Chia seeds and other foods for gut health In this video, we’re going to talk about some of the health benefits of chia seeds. Omega-3s have many benefits, including supporting heart health. Salmon and sardines are among the best omega-3 sources, but what about chia seeds? It’s been said that chia seeds are a better source of omega-3s if you compare them gram for gram, but they don’t contain DHA. Chia seeds contain ALA, and only 0.5% converts into DHA. Chia seeds have also been compared to eggs. An egg contains around 7 grams of protein, while chia seeds contain 4 grams. The protein found in eggs is the most bioavailable form of protein. Chia seeds contain vitamin E, vitamin C, B vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium. Research suggests that chia seeds are cardioprotective, help lower blood pressure, benefit your brain, and can even help thin your blood. Chia seeds contain soluble fiber, which is the most significant benefit of consuming them. To make a healthy chia pudding: 1. Mix 2 tablespoons of chia seeds with ½ cup of milk or unsweetened almond milk. 2. Stir the mixture until the seeds swell and form a gel. 3. Add kefir, berries, Greek yogurt, coconut cream, or nuts. The gel that forms when you mix chia seeds with liquid is an excellent food for your microbiome. Chia seeds can help with gut inflammation and constipation. They’re also very low in lectins. Chia seed gel contains polyphenols—plant chemicals that benefit your microbes. A healthy microbiome supports your mood, energy levels, and overall health. Consume chia seeds, fermented vegetables, sauerkraut, pickles, and kimchi regularly for a healthy microbiome. Red Flags of a Serious Nutrient Deficiency 19.09.2026 10minIodine is vital for the health of your thyroid, which impacts almost every part of your body. Unfortunately, iodine deficiency has become increasingly common due to depleted soils and chemicals in the water supply. Find out how to spot the early signs of iodine deficiency in this video. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Iodine deficiency causes 1:09 Outer eyebrow thinning 1:22 Hair loss 1:36 Hoarseness 1:51 Enlarged tongue 2:05 Unexplained weight gain 2:30 High estrogen 3:30 Lowered IQ 6:00 Iodine function 6:34 Selenium and iodine 6:56 High iodine foods LINKS TO WATER FILTERS: https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Berkey-...https://www.amazon.com/ZeroWater-7-Cu...https://clearlyfiltered.com/products/... Iodine deficiency is becoming incredibly common because most people aren’t getting enough in their food, and chemicals like fluoride and chlorine in the water supply can deplete it. Vegans are at increased risk for iodine deficiency because they aren’t consuming iodine foods such as shellfish, dairy, eggs, and other seafood. Here are 7 strange iodine deficiency signs to look out for. 1. Outer eyebrow thinning If the outer third of your eyebrow is thinning, you could have an iodine deficiency. 2. Hair loss Iodine is vital in ensuring that you have adequate thyroid hormones to support your hair. 3. Hoarseness This may feel like a lump in your throat due to an enlarged thyroid. 4. Enlarged tongue Indentations on the outside of the tongue signify an enlarged tongue. 5. Unexplained weight gain When your thyroid doesn’t have enough iodine, it can slow your metabolism, leading to weight gain. 6. Increased estrogen Heavy periods, excessive cramping, headaches, and weight gain in the hips all signify increased estrogen. Testosterone may also decrease in both men and women if the thyroid isn’t functioning properly. 7. Lowered IQ Thyroid function affects many parts of the brain, including the portion responsible for making decisions, problem-solving, attention, focus, creativity, and memory. Iodine is vital for properly functioning thyroid hormones, which affect every part of the body. Thyroid hormones affect the ovaries and the testicles, regulate estrogen dominance, and help mood and cognitive function. Hypothyroidism is one of the most common health problems worldwide! Selenium is also essential for the thyroid, especially for conditions like Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism. Rather than waiting for iodine deficiency symptoms, add the following iodine-rich foods to your diet to help prevent a problem: •Sea kelp/seaweed •Shellfish •Fish from the ocean •Eggs •Dairy Get a high-quality water filter to eliminate chlorine and fluoride in your drinking water! In this video, we’re going to talk about the best and worst oil for deep frying. Seed oils are polyunsaturated fatty acids. Vegetable oil is actually seed oil—it doesn’t come from vegetables. Seed oils go through industrial processing involving heating and the addition of solvents like hexane, a chemical found in gasoline. This process allows seed oils to be shelf-stable for long periods of time. Around 25% to 30% of our calories come from seed oils. When you cook processed foods like donuts in seed oils, you’re combining sugar with fat and heat. This process, called glycation, creates sticky proteins in the body. Fast food oil is reheated and reused repeatedly. The more it’s heated, the more toxic it becomes. Seed oils were not originally created for human consumption. They’re incredibly damaging to the mitochondria and lead to insulin resistance, fatty liver disease, obesity, heart disease, and an increased risk for cancer. Soybean oil causes the most damage to the body, followed by corn oil, sunflower oil, and canola oil. Healthier cooking oils for frying include avocado oil, coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, beef tallow, butter, and ghee. Keep in mind it's best to cook over low or medium heat. Pan-frying, air-frying, and stir-frying are healthier options than deep-frying over high heat. The #1 Most Perilous Fat on Earth! 19.09.2026 18minHarmful fats can be incredibly damaging to your health! Find out about the most dangerous fat to remove from your diet immediately and which healthy fats to replace it with. Ditch the unhealthy fats today! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: The worst fats for health 0:19 Unhealthy fats explained 0:53 Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats 2:02 What are hydrogenated fats? 3:11 Saturated fat 3:50 Side effects of unhealthy fats 8:57 The most dangerous fat 11:48 The benefits of healthy fat What are the unhealthiest types of fats? Let’s take a look. Saturated fats are very stable and don’t react much to oxygen because they don’t have double bonds. Fats with double bonds are more unstable and react more readily with oxygen, resulting in increased oxidation. Monounsaturated fats have one double bond, while polyunsaturated fats have many double bonds. More double bonds mean more oxidation. Avocado and olive oil are monounsaturated fats, so they’re moderately stable. Polyunsaturated fats, such as corn oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, soy oil, canola oil, and cottonseed oil, contain many double bonds, so they’re unstable and prone to significant oxidation. Hydrogenated oils are unsaturated fats that have been chemically turned into saturated fats. Saturated fats such as lard, tallow, and butter are solid at room temperature and are very stable. Although they are unsaturated fats, fish oil and cod liver oil have potent anti-inflammatory benefits and omega-3s, but can sometimes be rancid due to their instability. Be careful where you source them! Heat and light create toxic byproducts in unsaturated fats called aldehydes. These toxic compounds destroy your DNA, lodge in your cell membranes, and damage the insulin receptors on the surface of your cells. They can also make your cells stiff and fragile. For years, saturated fats have been demonized, and unsaturated fats have been recommended! This has also occurred with other foods, such as red meat and grains. Check out this comprehensive list, which ranges from the most harmful fats to the healthiest. Number 1 is the most dangerous! 1. Partially hydrogenated fat 2. Hydrogenated fat 3. Reused PUFA frying oil 4. Soy oil 5. Corn oil 6. Sunflower oil or safflower oil 7. Cottonseed oil 8. Canola oil 9. Grapeseed oil 10. Rice bran oil 11. Peanut oil 12. Refined avocado oil 13. Refined olive oil 14. Conventional lard 15. Conventional tallow 16. Coconut oil 17. Grass-fed butter 18. Cold-pressed avocado oil 19. Stop weighing yourself constantly and avoid other common weight-loss mistakes that could be hindering your success. Find out why you might want to ditch the scale in this episode! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) chapters: 0:00 Introduction: 11 reasons to stop weighing yourself 1:07 Why you shouldn’t weigh yourself 2:58 Hormones and weight loss 8:12 Sleep and weight loss 11:22 Healthy weight-loss tips 16:36 The best weight-loss advice Scale obsession is not helpful for weight loss. The rise in cortisol from scale anxiety alone is enough to stifle your progress! Here are 11 reasons why you shouldn’t weigh yourself: 1. Water weight Some people can lose up to 11 pounds of water weight in just 2 days! Initial water weight loss can cause unrealistic expectations. Most people only lose 1 to 2 pounds per week. 2. Salt Salty foods can cause you to retain fluid, especially if you’re consuming them with sugar. 3. Hormones A woman’s menstrual cycle can often cause weight-loss fluctuations of around 3 to 7 pounds. A rise in cortisol can also prevent weight loss. 4. Location of fat The worst type of fat is visceral fat, which accumulates around the organs. If you don’t see weight loss right away, you could be losing some of the more dangerous types of fat first. 5. Muscle loss or gain Losing muscle isn’t healthy! Your weight may be decreasing, but it could also be accompanied by serious side effects. Similarly, muscle weighs more than fat, so you won’t see weight loss if you’re building muscle. 6. Myxedema This type of fat is often found in people with hypothyroidism and is difficult to eliminate with diet and exercise alone. 7. Poor sleep One week of poor sleep can increase insulin resistance! Poor sleep leads to snacking, increased visceral fat, lower testosterone levels, and higher cortisol and stress levels. 8. Ozempic People lose weight with Ozempic, but typically regain it when they discontinue use. Around 20% to 40% of this weight loss is attributed to muscle loss. 9. Microdamage from exercise Overtraining breaks down your muscles. Edema and swelling can cause your weight to increase after exercise. 10. Medication Medications such as calcium channel blockers can cause weight gain. 11. Constipation Fiber intake and constipation can affect the number on the scale. Stop weighing yourself and focus on these healthy weight-loss tips instead: 1. Waist-to-height ratio 2. Fasting insulin 3. Appetite decreases 4. Tiny amounts of carbs can block fat burning 5. Fix insulin resistance Insulin resistance is the root cause of many chronic diseases. Fixing it is the key to getting healthy and losing weight. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: When NOT to buy organic 0:20 What is organic? 1:49 Is organic food healthier? 2:29 13 foods you should never buy organic 6:29 Foods to ALWAYS buy organic Organic foods are foods without synthetic chemical input, such as pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides, which are harmful chemicals that build up in the body. Organic animal foods are given organic feed and raised without antibiotics. Just because something is labeled organic doesn’t make it healthy. Beware of organic junk food! The following foods are not worth buying organic: 1. Sea salt 2. Wild-caught salmon 3. Avocados 4. Baking soda 5. Water 6. Walnuts 7. Pecans 8. Brazil nuts 9. Macadamia nuts 10. Coconuts 11. Cabbage 12. Banana 13. Tea 10. Cherries 11. Wheat, oats, lentils, pulses It’s important to note that organic means non-GMO, but non-GMO doesn’t always mean organic! Let’s talk about how to get rid of bloating fast. When it comes to a problem with the digestive system, the first thing you need to do is consider what you’re eating. You can try consuming fewer foods to help isolate what’s causing you to bloat the most. It’s important to consider what you ate just before you noticed you were bloated. This will give you a big clue as to what’s causing you to bloat. One of the best things to do for bloating is intermittent fasting. The more frequently you eat, the more bloating problems you’ll have. Gas produced by microbes in your gut can also cause bloating. Common foods to avoid to help with bloating: • Fruit • Beans • Grains • Refined sugars • Sugar alcohols • Starches • Maltodextrin or dextrin • Functional fibers • Prebiotics • Gluten • Lactose • Casein • Nuts or nut butter • Vegetables Other potential causes of bloating: • Stress • Constipation • Menstrual cramps Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Keytruda helps your immune system find and kill cancer cells. Keytruda is also used for autoimmune diseases and certain infections. Unlike chemotherapy, Keytruda helps kill cancer cells without killing your immune system. Keytruda works through immunomodulation. Immunomodulators increase, decrease, or block your immune system. Immunomodulator drugs have many side effects and don’t work on all types of cancer. Some cancers can become resistant to immunotherapy and stronger with treatment, a phenomenon similar to antibiotic resistance. Immunomodulator drugs don’t target the fuel for cancer or the raw materials necessary to build cancer cells. There are many natural immunomodulators. In fact, drug companies use research on plant chemicals to develop over 50% of medications. The following are natural immunomodulators: • Astragalus • Reishi mushrooms and other types of mushrooms • Vitamin D Dietary changes are also important. You need to eliminate foods that fuel cancer cells. Fasting is the most powerful tool to starve off cancer. It’s also important to believe that you will overcome cancer. Mindset matters! Why Sea Moss Is Going VIRAL! 19.09.2026 6minSea moss has gained popularity on social media due to its numerous health benefits, but what exactly is it, and is it worth the hype? Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: Advantages of sea moss 0:05 What is sea moss? 0:23 Benefits of sea moss 1:03 What is the purpose of trace minerals? 1:50 Importance of selenium 2:56 Advantages of iodine 3:40 Carrageenan and its effects Sea moss and sea kelp are both types of seaweed that grow underwater and have similar nutritional value. People have used sea moss on their skin and internally to help with digestion and inflammation. Sea moss contains various nutrients, including amino acids, fiber, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and phytonutrients. One of the standout features of sea moss and other types of seaweed is its high mineral content. This includes trace minerals, which are essential for our health but needed in small amounts. Trace minerals are crucial in activating enzymes and proteins that aid in various bodily functions. For example, selenium is essential for converting the inactive form of thyroid hormone (T4) to its active form (T3) and supporting immune function. Sea moss is also a great source of iodine. Iodine is crucial for thyroid health and helps regulate estrogen levels in women. Unfortunately, most land-grown produce lacks trace minerals. To get enough of these essential minerals, we need to consume foods grown near the ocean or directly from the sea itself. Some forms of seaweed, including sea moss, contain carrageenan. While this ingredient has been linked to digestive issues, it’s important to distinguish between naturally occurring carrageenan found in sea moss and the artificially added version found in processed foods. The Massive Multivitamin Scam 19.09.2026 16minAre multivitamins bad for you? How could that be? In this video, I’ll share the truth about the multivitamin scam. Find out about the vitamins you should never take, supplements that don’t work, and the harmful ingredients in your supplements. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: Multivitamins truth 0:19 Harmful ingredients in supplements 1:45 Synthetic vs. natural vitamins 3:38 Do multivitamins really work? 9:32 Natural vitamins and minerals 11:17 Fake vitamins exposed! Many multivitamins are made with the cheapest, synthetic ingredients which could be doing more harm than good. The first ingredient in many multivitamins is often calcium carbonate, which is limestone! The first ingredient usually makes up the majority of the product. Magnesium oxide, another common ingredient, is very cheap and has the lowest absorption rate compared to other forms of magnesium. The term “natural” isn’t regulated, so ingredients derived from sources such as petroleum and coal tar can be labeled as natural. In nature, vitamins don’t exist alone; they are combined with other nutrients and cofactors, which are often missing when you take synthetic vitamins. Biochemistry can not work without cofactors. Although there are nutrients that are difficult to obtain in sufficient amounts from food, that doesn’t mean they should be replaced with synthetic multivitamins. Maltodextrin is commonly used as a filler in vitamins and minerals. It’s a highly refined industrial starch, classified as a complex carbohydrate, and spikes blood sugar more than sugar. Ascorbic acid is a synthetic part of the vitamin C complex. Approximately 90% is made in China from GMO corn and sulfuric acid.
