Let's talk about aI, play some AI from the independent side and even new material to boot 18.01.2026 4h 1minSo ... Let's discuss AI and music. We'll play something we've played before and introduce someone who has used AI to make their own tunes. We played and bought the full discogrophy of neutrinoP from Romania. But there are others. neutrinoP has released some AI music under this page which we also bought. The question becomes whether you, a broadcaster, would just buy AI music or even play AI music if approached by someone asking you to play it. This was a discussion of the show that was taped on January 12th and is available through the RCL Radio Network. The Independent artist spotlight for February 9, 2019 10.02.2019 3h 46minOn the 74th edition of the spotlight, we're going to play an artist that I've been neglection status for some time. They contacted me in July of 2018, and finally we're going to play them today. Also, some of my favorites. They contacted me through the artist submission page on the mix and I want to see what people think. CityFedelia Part raw, street poet and soulful RnB singer, City Fidelia is an artist whose music and storytelling defies traditional labels. An Ottawa native, now residing in Toronto, the rapper/songwriter’s humble upbringing is naturally woven into the fabric of his music and the stories he tells through his art. City’s ability to be vulnerable and authentic in his lyricism, telling stories about his own struggles and the unspoken nuances of modern life, is grounded in his goal to inspire inner-city youth to leave the path of hardship in order to pursue their dreams. He also spearheads Ensemble, a collective of creatives in music, fashion and art working on a singular mission: to bring people together and teach that anything is possible through art. With so many exciting ideas and so much music lined up, Fidelia, is ready to stick his head out and establish his name in the industry, in his own inimitable way. Playlist is on our blog for your convenience. Due to a technical error, the playlist can't be posted on this episode.

The Inpdenendent artist spotlight, broadcast 67: two acappella groups 23.12.2018 2h 45minOn this edition of the program, which is broadcast 67, we are having two acappella artists that have two different styles of music. One Jewish, one Christian and Christmas. Where applicable, we've provided information taken from the linked pages to the artists. Enjoy! Shir Soul Originally formed in 2005, Shir Soul Jewish a cappella is a soulful mix of pop, rock and contemporary music with a modern flare. They blend traditional a cappella sounds with original lyrics, creating a fusion that is truly unique. With the ability to take traditional tunes and spin them in a whole new musical way, Shir Soul has created a sound and genre that is truly unique. Having performed all over the United States and internationally, Shir Soul is as exciting live as their music sounds. With nearly 1 million views to date on YouTube, their videos have received a great of attention from the Jewish community and beyond. Acapeldridge I'm a pharmacist by trade, but I've always had a love for singing that was likely gained through years of worshiping with my family in church, singing a cappella hymns. I continued to sing as I grew older (and as my voice grew a little deeper), in high school and in college at Purdue. Acapeldridge has been a wonderful way for me to continue sharing my loves for singing and a cappella hymns. What started as a hobby in May of 2017 quickly grew in to a passion. My process is fairly humble; I record all of my music at home in a walk-in closet. My two greatest desires are to serve my Creator with the gifts and opportunities He's given me, and to preserve these wonderful, classic hymns for another generation. For a complete playlist, Go to my live journal por our mix blog and enjoy!

The Independent artist spotlight, broadcast 66: Magnatune Independent Holiday 16.12.2018 3h 25minHello everyone! Welcome to the Independent artist spotlight show for Saturday, December 15, 2018. I've started this program off with an announcement about this show when it comes to Anchor, and something I'm working to resolve. As we have the holidays, and we've also got other commitments as well, the change will be good for all of us, right? If I can resolve the technical issues in the new year, or come up with a solution to upload the show in segments to resolve these issues, than I can commit to 4 full hours. We start the show with a few non-holiday tracks, but our goal is to talk about and play Jewish and Christmas music mainly from the Magnatune collection for this show. Wade's also commented, and my goal is to get all of these in place for a future show, Wade, thanks for listening. If you want to view the artists in which we're talking about as part of today's program, please go to the Magnatune artists listing page and select any artist in which you're interested in. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please use the contact the DJ's page on the Mix to allow yourself the opportunity to use the method that best suits your needs. The audio also avails you with the contact info as well. If you've got personal info, you may use that. Now, the playlist of today's show. Enjoy the program!
