Unlocking the Best Night of Ramadan: Inspirations from Surah Al-Qadr | Syahmi | 103 29.05.2026 1ч 20минIn the rush of deadlines, meetings, and ambitions, Ramadan can easily become just another month in the calendar. We fast during the day, attend a few prayers at night, and promise ourselves we will do better next year. But Surah al-Qadr reminds us that Ramadan is not merely about fasting, it is about a night that can outweigh a lifetime.Allah ta'ala says:“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.” — [Qur’an 97:3]A thousand months is more than 83 years, that is longer than the average human lifespan. One night, if embraced with faith and sincerity, can carry the weight of an entire lifetime of worship. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever stands in prayer on the Night of Decree out of faith and hoping for reward, his past sins will be forgiven.”— [al-Bukhari and Muslim]Ramadan is, therefore, not about how busy we are. It is about whether we recognize the value of time when Allah Himself multiplies it.Many of us invest years in building careers, businesses, and reputations. Yet Surah al-Qadr teaches that Allah can place the reward of decades into ONE single night for the one who turns back to Him.Perhaps one of the questions Ramadan asks us is:If Allah placed the reward of a lifetime in one night, will we be among those who rise to seek it?Join us for our next Treasures from Qur'an live session this coming Saturday, 7th March at 11:00am (GMT+8) as Syahmi dives deep into the heart of this short but powerful surah!🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? When the Universe Prostrates: Inspirations @ Surah As-Sajdah | Syahmi | 100 29.05.2026 1ч 59минWhen the Universe Prostrates... ....But You Don’t.Everything in existence, the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, and creatures unseen bows down and prostrates to Allah in absolute submission. Yet, among mankind and jinn, there are those who refuse.Surah As-Sajdah is a wake-up call, a reminder of where we came from, the reality of our fleeting time on earth, and the inevitable meeting with Malakul Maut (the Angel of Death). Rasulullah ﷺ would recite this surah every Friday at Fajr, alongside Surah Al-Insan, to remind us of our fragile existence and what comes after. In this episode inshaAllah, we reflect on:The ultimate act of worship: Sujud, why lowering ourselves is actually our greatest honour. The submission of all creation except for some mankind who persist in arrogance. The reality of what's to come - the coming of Angel of Death, the situation of the disbelievers in front of Allah etc.Join us at TBE this Sunday 30th March 2025 at 11:00 (GMT +8), in our final episode of Treasures from Quran this year, as we share some inspirational reminders from this surah! What people sometimes overlook, though, is that it is also a source of sustained joy and happiness: A concept that is difficult to grasp by non-religious individuals; and one that is taken for granted by Muslims, who, in modern times, tend to search for happiness To tackle this subject, we have a conversation with Dr. Abdullah As-Sueidi 🇸🇪 . In this episode, we discuss: ✅ How religion - through a deeper meaning in life - makes people more resilient, able to cope with hardships: something aethism and secularism can never provide ✅ Why do Muslims impose religion on others? Are these tips compatible with Islam? ✅ Individualism: In modern times, we are witnessing an increasing trend of more and more people living a more individualistic lives, preferring to live alone. Are people really better off alone? ✅ In Islam, worship is supposed to bring peace and traqulity - yet why don't some of us feel it? Why, for some people, it feels more like a burden more than anything?ℹ️ ABOUT OUR GUEST: Dr. Abdullah As-Sueidi 🇸🇪 Sheikh Dr. Abdullah As-Sueidi is a Swedish-born scholar who embraced Islam at age 16 after a profound spiritual search. Minimum Success Criteria: Inspirations @ Surah Al-Asr | Amir | 099 29.03.2025 1ч 37минSurah Al-Asr is the third shortest surah in the Quran, containing only 3 verses and therefore making it a favourite for worshippers often times to recite it in their prayer when they are short for time. While it uses simple and direct words, it also has deep and comprehensive meanings, containing sharp and direct reminders for all mankind to adopt in avoiding the true catastrophic failure. In other words, Surah Al-Asr defines the criteria to earn minimum success. So much so, that our great Imam Shafi'ee once mentioned that if Allah had only revealed this Surah, it would be sufficient mankind! The short powerful nature of this surah made it a regular practice for the sahabah (companions of Rasulullah ﷺ) to recite it whenever they depart from a gathering. Ibn Qayyim even includes all the criterias in this surah as the basis of our personal jihad (struggle) against our whims and desires. So, what are the minimum success criteria? How can we put them into practice and plant it as our life slogan? What was the wisdom that was so profound about these ayat that the sahabah would recite it so regularly? Join us for this conversation on another episode from Treasures from Quran, as we share some reminders from this powerful Surah. See you there, in sha Allah! Barakallahu fikum -

When Will The Help of Allah Come? Thoughts on G4z@ & What We Can Do | 086 30.06.2024 1ч 38минSince October 2023, the world has witnessed the horrors of the gen0cide and mass murders taking place in Pale$tine, specifically in G@za. As we speak, isr@el has killed more than 37,000 civilians - mostly women and children - in addition to over 80,000 severely injured. In an unprecedented act of violence, isr@el has dropped over 70,000 tons of bombs on the strip, exceeding World War 2 bombings in Dresden, Hamburg and London combined. Despite gaining notorious attention from all over the world, with international communities negatively labelling isr@el’s actions as ethnic cleansing & gen0cide, and multiple peaceful attempts at a ceasefire, there seems to be no end in sight for the atrocities being committed against the people of Pale$tine, including civilians in the West B@nk, which is particularly painful for us Muslims, as we witness the crimes perpetrated on the holy ground of Al-Aqsa. With these horrific acts, many around the world are forced to watch in horror. Some questioning God, wondering “where is the Help of Allah”? Why is He allowing these to take place? Why aren’t the nations stepping up to stop this violence? And after 8 months of non-stop horror, some have lost hope, or even start to feel jaded as if they can no longer be bothered. In this episode of the Barakah Effect, join us as we discuss: What should we do, as Muslims? What is our attitude in facing this situation, as we helplessly watch our brothers and sisters being massacred in these holy lands? What role do we have to play, and how do we understand this in the right perspective to see it from the Wisdom of Allah?
