  • Wisdom for this world 04.10.2026 47мин
Who or what do you want to be? Too often, our eyes and our hearts are fixed on those who seem to be great in this world, but they are far from God. In response we hear wisdom speak. WIsdom gives a warning: do not let your heart envy sinners. Wisdom urges a contrast: we are instead to be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day. Wisdom offers a promise: surely there is a hereafter and your hope will not be cut off. We need to lift our eyes and our hearts above this world and beyond the sinners who seem to have all this world offers, to the promised hereafter and the glorious hope which Christ provides.

"Those who have tried to reach Mohammedans with the gospel message and who are in the midst of the work, do not call for retreat, but for reinforcements and advance. They know that in this mighty conflict we have nothing to fear save our own sloth and inactivity." Samuel Zwemer's words echo Paul's own declaration in 2 Corinthians 4:1-6, "having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart." Whether by rejection or affliction, the mission has countless reasons for discouragement. And discouragement can lead to compromise. But we advance, determined to change neither message nor method.

  • With Me in Paradise 04.10.2026 46мин
"And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise." Luke 23:39-43
  • WHAT MEAN YE BY THESE STONES 04.10.2026 1ч 8мин
WHAT MEAN YE BY THESE STONES. Joshua 4:1-24 KJVAfter God miraculously brought Israel across the Jordan River on dry ground, He commanded Joshua to take twelve stones from the river and establish a memorial. Those stones were more than rocks—they were a testimony. When future generations asked, "What mean ye by these stones?", God's people were to tell them what the Lord had done.In this opening lesson we examine why God established memorials and why remembering His works matters. The twelve stones reminded Israel of God's power in the past, His presence in the present, and His faithfulness for the future. They also gave parents an opportunity to teach their children the mighty works of God.Every generation needs its own "stones of remembrance"—testimonies of answered prayer, salvation, deliverance, provision, and the faithfulness of God. We must never allow the next generation to inherit our buildings, traditions, and Bibles without also hearing the story of what God has done."What mean ye by these stones?" — Joshua 4:6 KJVThe stones could not speak for themselves. Someone who remembered what God had done had to tell the story.Joshua 4 does not end with Israel merely crossing a river. It ends with a testimony being established. The water would begin flowing again. The footprints in the riverbed would disappear. The generation that crossed Jordan would eventually pass away. But the stones remained. Why?Because God knew something about us:We have a tendency to forget. We remember the trouble, but forget the deliverance. We remember the night we cried, but forget the morning when God answered. We remember how deep the Jordan looked,, but forget that God made a way through it!
  • The Life Of Faith 04.10.2026 1ч 3мин
The sermon explores the practical application of living by faith rather than by sight, using Matthew 6 as the primary foundation to address anxiety regarding daily provisions and future uncertainties. It argues that true faith is exercised through trusting God for daily needs, relying on the authority of Scripture, and maintaining confidence in the midst of scary circumstances. The message emphasizes that faith is a muscle that must be strengthened through hearing the Word and obeying God's directives, even when circumstances appear overwhelming. By examining biblical examples such as the widows of the Old Testament and the disciples in the storm, the text illustrates how reliance on God dispels fear and fosters a contented, joyful life. The sermon concludes with an exhortation to bring others to Jesus and to seek Him first in all personal struggles, affirming that God's provision is sufficient for the present day.

  • Borrowed Bread — We Know A Man Who Can 04.10.2026 1ч
"Borrowed Bread — We Know a Man Who Can." The message centers on the truth that we know a Man who can—Jesus—and everything we have becomes useful, fruitful, and sufficient when surrendered into His hands. The feeding of the multitude shows that what appears small and ordinary in our hands can become extraordinary when given to Him. The storm reveals His authority over the natural world, and the deliverance of the demoniacs demonstrates His authority over the spiritual realm. In every case, the answer is not found in human ability but in the sufficiency of Jesus. From there, the message develops the idea that we are all living on "borrowed bread." None of us truly directs our own steps or produces spiritual light, wisdom, righteousness, or strength from ourselves. Jeremiah 10 reminds us that "it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps," so the proper prayer is not merely, "Lord, fix what I'm going through," but, "Lord, correct me and prepare me for what I'm going through." We need God's light to reveal what is wrong, His grace to remove it, and His goodness to replace it. The message also emphasizes the necessity of a renewed mind and daily surrender. Romans 12 warns against being conformed to the world's blueprint—a way of living that attempts to navigate suffering, decisions, relationships, and hardship without factoring God into the equation. Instead, believers are called to present themselves as living sacrifices and allow the Lord to transform their thinking. This produces a holy "fear of missing out"—not fear of the world, but a reverent desire not to miss what God wants to teach, reveal, or accomplish in us today. A major practical truth is that the fles
  • Should I Read the Bible? 03.10.2026 32мин
You should read your Bible each and every day if possible. I don't know why it is so difficult for so many people to simply read the Bible. Walk with me through this study as we search all 66 books to see what the Bible says about itself and how we can mature in the Lord.Remember when the Bible speaks -God speaks.
  • Psalm 11 03.10.2026 42мин
This sermon explores Psalm 11 as a call to trust in God's sovereignty amidst the temptation to flee from suffering. The central message contrasts the unreliable sight of human fear with the reliable reality of God's presence in His holy temple, emphasizing that the Lord sees, tests, and ultimately judges the wicked. By identifying the 'Righteous One' as a Christological figure who endures the cup of wrath, the text highlights the theology of the cross as the foundation for Christian hope. The tone is pastoral and instructional, encouraging believers to adopt a posture of resolute courage and to view their trials through the lens of faith rather than sight. Ultimately, the sermon assures the audience that because God is righteous and sees all, the upright can confidently expect to behold His face.

  • Mormon Debates, Avoiding Acts 4, Some Personal Encouragement 01.10.2026 1ч 16мин
Went over some developments on the Mormon front, the fact that Mormonism really is splintering fast into self-prophet groups with all sorts of different views and beliefs. We also looked at a statement posted by Leighton Flowers (written by someone else) that said that if Judas or Pilate had "repented" that God could have found "someone else." We thought through what that would mean and realized that's just Open Theism wearing a big nose and a fake mustache. Finally at the end I told everyone who didn't want something personal to tune out, and then I told the story of how I have been using Claude, the AI, to create programs that are allowing me to record my workouts and get a better idea of how hard I am lifting, etc. Just a little encouragement for my fellow aging athletes.

  • Devoted to Thy Fear 01.10.2026 56мин
VaultAI Summary: This sermon explores the call for believers to be wholly consecrated to the fear of the Lord, examining how this devotion manifests in the mind, heart, eyes, and feet. Drawing from Psalm 119, the text argues that true Christianity requires the mind to be renewed by God's teaching, the heart to be inclined toward delight in His commandments rather than covetousness, and the eyes to be guarded against vanity. The preacher emphasizes that intellectual assent is insufficient without the power of the Holy Spirit to quicken the soul, enabling genuine obedience and a walk that reflects Christ's character. By uniting these faculties in reverence, Christians avoid hypocrisy and bring glory to God, relying on His grace to sustain their devotion and protect His name from reproach.
  • Wherefore Should I Fear in the Days of Evil 30.09.2026 46мин
Why does the psalmist cry "Hear this, all ye people" (Psalm 49:1) and then "give ear" (Psalm 49:1) in the same breath, and who is the ye? Read verse 5 and ask whether it begins with wherefore or with therefore, and whether a man can say he will not fear the days of evil. Then ask what the rich man who trusts in his wealth can pay for his brother's soul. "None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him." (Psalm 49:7)
  • Man’s Reaction To Sin 30.09.2026 47мин
This sermon examines the immediate human response to the Fall as recorded in Genesis 3, focusing on the progression of hiding from God. The central message argues that man's first instinct is to cover his sin with self-righteousness, symbolized by the fig leaves, rather than seeking divine grace. The text highlights how conscience, instead of leading to repentance, often drives individuals to flee from God's presence due to fear and shame. Furthermore, the analysis explores how humans attempt to shift blame onto others, such as Adam blaming Eve and Eve blaming the serpent, rather than owning their personal guilt. The tone is convicting and instructional, urging the audience to recognize their own sinful nature and the futility of religious works, pointing instead to the necessity of genuine confession and reliance on Christ's atonement.
