You built the plan, you protected it, and now you are two weeks out from one of the biggest rooms you will step into this quarter. But showing up to a room is not just about being physically present. It is about arriving with intention. Knowing who you are before you walk in the door. Being grounded enough to receive what the experience has for you without losing yourself in the energy of everyone else.In this episode, we are talking about what intentional presence actually looks like in practice. How to prepare your mind and your energy before a big moment. How to show up fully without performing. And how to make sure you leave with more than just a notebook full of notes. This one is for you if you have an event, a conference, a big meeting, or any moment coming up where you want to show up as the fullest version of yourself. Which means this one is for all of us.My Mind Is My Business is happening May 22 through 24 in Houston. Grab your ticket at www.mymindismybusiness.com.This episode is sponsored by Made Simpler. Protect the Plan 21.04.2026 13minYou built an intentional plan. You identified your priorities. You blocked your time. And now the real test begins.Because making a plan is the easy part. Protecting it is where most of us fall apart. In this episode, we are talking about why high-achieving women abandon their own plans, the difference between intentional flexibility and people pleasing, and the practical tools you need to hold the boundary between your priorities and everything else that is competing for your time and energy.Including the hardest part. When the person threatening your plan is you. This is episode two of our Q2 theme, Designing with Intention. Because designing something beautiful means nothing if you do not protect it long enough to see it through. -

Holding Leadership Lightly 24.03.2026 17minWhat if leadership design wasn't about locking in a plan, but learning to hold it lightly? In this episode, we're exploring what it means to design with your seasons, not against them. Most of us create a plan once (usually in January) and then white-knuckle our way through the year. But what happens when life inevitably shifts? We feel like we're failing because the plan isn't working anymore.I share what it's looked like for me to be in a season of rest and recovery while also building something new and how I've learned to hold leadership lightly instead of gripping control over outcomes. We talk about the difference between quitting and pivoting, why rest and recalibration are leadership moves (not luxuries), and how to know when to push through versus when to let go.Topics covered:Why high-achievers struggle with redesignHow to know if you're quitting or pivotingWhat "holding it lightly" actually looks like in practiceHow to design with your seasons instead of forcing one approach all yearYou're allowed to redesign as many times as you need. That's not failure. That's leadership.Grab your FREE competitive analysis from Made Simpler here. -
Resetting Patterns Not Goals 24.03.2026 16minIt's not about the goals. It's about the patterns. In this episode, we're talking about why goals don't create lasting change—and what does. If you set intentions in January and you're already feeling the fade, you're not failing. The goals are.We explore the difference between goals (outcomes) and patterns (behaviors), the patterns that keep high-achieving women stuck, and what it actually looks like to reset patterns instead of chasing outcomes.I share my personal story about learning to say no when things aren't in alignment—even when they seem like good opportunities. Because good opportunities aren't always the right opportunities. If you're tired of the cycle of starting strong and fading fast, this episode gives you a new framework: focus on the behavior, not the outcome.Topics covered:The patterns that keep you stuck (overcommitting, saying yes when you mean no, equating busyness with worthiness)How to identify the patterns you need to resetThe difference between goals and sustainable behavior changeWhat pattern-resetting looks like in practiceBe sure to grab your Competitive Analysis here! -

In this relaunch episode, I'm being honest about where I've been and why I'm back and what's different this time. We're diving into what it looks like to re-enter your life and leadership without urgency, without performing, and without abandoning what you actually need. We talk about why hard resets fail high-achieving women, the cost of rushing back into life, and how softness shows up as discernment, not avoidance. If you're feeling the pressure to have it all figured out, to lock in the perfect plan, to become someone new—this episode is your permission slip to move slowly. To ease back in. To honor what you actually need. This is not about doing more. This is about leading like you already are—without the weight.Topics covered:Why hard resets don't work for high-achieving womenThe difference between restarting and re-enteringHow to honor your nervous system before planning anythingWhat it means to reset support, not goals -
