You Will NEVER Eat Sugar Again after This Video 30.07.2026 9minDid you know that sugar can be addicting? Find out how to get rid of sugar cravings and deal with sugar addiction with these 3 tips! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: How to stop eating sugar 0:34 Sugar addiction explained 3:15 How to break sugar addiction 3:40 Tips to reduce sugar cravings 6:08 Dealing with sugar addiction Let's talk about the side effects of sugar and how to cut sugar from the diet. The average person consumes 74 teaspoons of sugar per day. Since there are over 200 different names for sugar and types of hidden sugar, many people don’t realize how much they’re consuming. Food addiction expert Dr. Joan Ifland explains that you get a surge of dopamine when you consume sugar. The dopamine cells in your brain are not equipped to handle this surge, which is why you crash within 20 minutes. Over time, the dopamine receptor stops working, and you will need more sugar to achieve the same dopamine surge. You can reverse sugar addiction and get your body into a state of fat-burning called ketosis in as little as 72 hours! You will no longer crave sugar. Willpower alone does not usually get rid of sugar cravings. To get into ketosis and eliminate sugar cravings, you have to get your body to burn fat. Try these tips to get into ketosis and eliminate your sugar cravings for good: 1. Keep your carbs below 30 grams per day. 2. Change your environment and get your friends and family on board. Hide junk food or remove it from your house altogether. 3. Find pick-me-ups other than sugar. Exercise, dancing, music, laughter, long walks, nature, and helping others can increase endorphins and oxytocin without depleting your dopamine receptors. Physical work is also very therapeutic. If you fall off the wagon and give in to sugar cravings, don't beat yourself up. Use it as a learning experience! Consume protein and fat to minimize the damage caused by a slip-up. NEVER IGNORE These Warning Signs! 30.07.2026 9minFind out about some of the common vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms you never want to ignore. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: The importance of vitamin B12 0:55 Vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms 3:18 Vitamin B12 foods 4:48 Vitamin B12 function 5:15 Vitamin B12 deficiency causes 6:04 Vitamin B12 supplements It’s often thought that only vegans and vegetarians need to worry about vitamin B12 deficiencies, but there are many ways to become deficient in this important nutrient. Vitamin B12 deficiency can decrease your ability to make and repair DNA, increasing your risk for cancer. Vitamin B12 supports the myelin sheaths around your neurons, and a deficiency can cause anemia. Early signs and symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency include fatigue, weakness, pale skin, and tingling in the fingertips and toes. Over time, you may notice more symptoms of B12 deficiency, including the following: •Red, swollen, shiny tongue •Mouth ulcers •Out of breath easily •Dizziness if you stand up too quickly •Cognitive problems •Anxiety •Circadian rhythm issues •Depression •Vitiligo If you have a severe B12 deficiency, you may have problems walking, severe muscle weakness, and severe psychiatric problems, such as hallucinations and paranoia. Severe B12 deficiency can also cause permanent, irreversible nerve damage. If you don’t regularly consume animal products, you could become deficient in vitamin B12. Try incorporating vitamin B12 foods such as clams, liver, sardines, red meat, tuna, salmon, grass-fed dairy, and eggs into your diet. If you have low stomach acid, you will have trouble absorbing vitamin B12. A genetic problem known as polymorphism can also interfere with vitamin B12 absorption. If you take vitamin B12 supplements, take the natural form called methylcobalamin. A healthy liver, small intestine, and acidic stomach are vital for vitamin B12 to be absorbed and function properly in the body. Why You Should Try Carbonated Water 30.07.2026 10minGet access to my FREE resources 👉 https://drbrg.co/4ddrxbd Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. I feel so much better when I drink carbonated water vs. regular water, and I think I know why. Check this out! Video on CO2: ▶️ https://youtu.be/DtVj-U2hU7k DATA: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18949492/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32633896/ 0:00 Introduction: Is carbonated water bad for you? 0:25 Carbonated water explained 0:50 Understanding carbon dioxide 2:57 Benefits of CO2 7:02 Learn more about the water you drink! Let’s talk about carbonated water. Water is carbonated by adding CO2. This makes it bubbly and slightly acidic. The body needs CO2 for oxygen to be absorbed into the cells. You can even put your body in a hypoxic state (low oxygen state) by depriving your tissues of CO2. Carbonated spas or baths are used in some places for people with circulatory problems or diabetic wounds. It’s also used as a therapy for people after a stroke and to decrease the rate of amputation. While I wasn’t able to find research on the health benefits of carbonated water, I did find some parallel research on CO2. CO2 is a potent anti-tumor, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory gas. One study found a significant increase in the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system by increasing CO2. The parasympathetic nervous system counters fight or flight mode and supports healing, digestion, and sleep. CO2 is a key factor we can’t ignore. You can increase your CO2 by breathing through your nose, especially while you sleep or exercise. Hot springs also have a significant amount of CO2. It’s even used in certain skin creams. Let’s talk about so-called “healthy whole grains.” Eating whole grains is a widespread diet recommendation, but for what reason? Whole wheat bread, for example, is made from whole wheat flour, not refined flour. But, neither type of flour has much fiber, vitamins, phytonutrients, minerals, or protein. Whole grains also contain phytic acid, which blocks the absorption of minerals. The majority of studies on grains compare whole grains to refined grains. Many people already know whole grains are healthier than refined grains. So, why aren’t we comparing the effects of consuming whole grains vs. not consuming whole grains or refined grains? Aren't whole grains heart-healthy? The Cochrane group evaluated nine random-controlled trials and came to the conclusion that there isn’t enough evidence to say that consuming whole grains will reduce your risk of heart disease. However, foods without grains are beneficial for your heart, liver, arteries, and blood sugar levels. Learn more about these foods in my other videos. Does Your Bowel Movement Look Like This? (Signs You're NOT Healthy) 30.07.2026 9minIs my poop normal? What does my poop mean? Did you know that your poop can give crucial digestive health signs way before they show up on any blood test? From poop shape meaning to poop color, find out what your poop is telling you in this video! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 00:00 Introduction: What your poop says about your health 0:40 Healthy poop vs. unhealthy poop 0:50 Poop shape meaning 2:24 The color of your poop 4:59 Digestive health signs and tips Today, we’re going to talk about poop shape and color, and address gut warning signs in your stool. Normal poop should be brown and sausage-shaped. Small, hard, pellet-shaped poop indicates that something may be wrong higher up in the digestive tract. Soft stool indicates that you may have some missing microbes or food allergies. Pathogens can cause loose stool as your body tries to quickly eliminate them. Unfortunately, with diarrhea and liquid stool, good bacteria are also eliminated. Consume kefir or yogurt with blackberries to restore the good bacteria in your digestive tract. Thin, pencil or cigar-shaped stool signifies a problem in the colon. This could mean the colon is impacted, you have many polyps, or there’s some obstruction in the bowels. You’d want to get this checked by a medical professional. Normal stools should be brown in color. If you have a problem with your liver or you have thickened bile or bile sludge in the bile ducts, your poop will be light-colored or gray. Floating stool that is also light-colored further confirms this problem. If your problem is linked to the pancreas, your stool will have a bad odor and may appear greasy. Rarely, this could be associated with cancer, but most of the time, it is caused by an overworked pancreas. Black stool is often a sign of something more serious, usually caused by oxidized blood. Blueberries and blackberries can also cause black stool. Beets can cause your stool to appear red. Hemorrhoids can cause red stool due to fresh blood. Collinsonia root is an excellent remedy for hemorrhoids. Green stool is usually caused by chlorophyll from vegetable consumption. It’s not normal to poop once every 2 to 3 days. You should have a bowel movement 1 to 2 times daily. Intermittent fasting is the most important thing you can do for your digestive tract. Frequent eating is very problematic and never allows your digestive system the chance to reset. Incomplete digestion usually results from low stomach acid. Betaine hydrochloride is the best remedy for this problem. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. The Secret to Increasing More OXYGEN in Your Cells: ▶️ https://youtu.be/DtVj-U2hU7k DATA: https://www.irishtimes.com/news/science/a-potentially-good-side-of-carbon-dioxide-1.4511166 0:00 Introduction: Nose breathing 0:15 Does nose breathing restrict oxygen? 0:47 Nose breathing benefits 1:25 Nose breathing vs. mouth breathing 9:42 Learn more about oxygen and CO2! Today we’re going to talk about the benefits of nose breathing when you’re sleeping and exercising. When you restrict airflow by breathing through the nose, some very interesting things occur. You actually get more oxygen delivered to your tissues when nose breathing than when you breathe through your mouth. When you breathe through your nose, the sinuses help moisten the air as it goes into the lungs. This protects the lungs from irritation and inflammation. Your nose also helps filter the air as it goes into the lungs and can protect the lungs against pathogens. CO2 isn’t just a waste product. It’s essential. It takes CO2 to push oxygen from your blood into your cells. A few potential side effects of sinus surgery are dry sinuses and difficulty breathing. You need the mucous membranes to balance out oxygen and CO2. Oxygen therapy and certain conditions can also cause low CO2. Low CO2 can cause the body to be more alkaline, which can cause low calcium in the blood. Both of these issues can lead to a myriad of symptoms. When you breathe through your nose, you can increase the amount of oxygen in your cells by about 20%. Nose breathing helps increase the right amount of CO2 in your body to push oxygen into your cells. This will help oxygenate your brain and muscles, especially when you sleep and exercise. Increasing the oxygen in your cells can also help with stress. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. To see results, use castor oil three times per week for at least 30 days to 6 weeks. Potential health benefits of castor oil include the following: •Increases growth and thickness of eyelashes and brows •Removes skin tags and warts with the help of iodine and garlic •Boosts the immune system •Helps dissolve tartar •Reduces pain from arthritis •Reduces liver congestion and increases bile flow Castor oil penetrates the skin, so you can use castor oil packs on the ovaries or breasts to help address cysts. DMSO can help castor oil penetrate the skin more deeply. Magnesium oil is also a helpful addition to castor oil. Try dipping your face in an ice bath before applying castor oil. A 48 to 72-hour fast replaces dead cells with new cells and can have a multi-layer effect on your skin. A healthy diet is also essential! Castor oil can improve stretch marks and scars and boost hair growth. Massage castor oil into your scalp to reduce dandruff and dry scalp. Jamaican black castor oil is the best option for your hair and scalp. Massage castor oil into your feet to address inflammation systemically and use topically to reduce pain. Castor oil can cause early contractions during pregnancy, so use with caution. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. The Most Dangerous Sugar In The World! 30.07.2026 5minGet access to my FREE resources 👉 https://drbrg.co/3QguHkm Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. We all know sugar is bad. But can you guess the deadliest type of sugar? DATA: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9222424/ 0:00 Introduction: The dangers of sugar 0:08 Sugar explained 2:40 The worst type of sugar 3:10 Learn more about the benefits of giving up sugar! Let’s talk about the most deadly type of sugar you could consume. There are many different types of sugar, but the most common types of sugar are made up of glucose and fructose. Every cell in the body can metabolize glucose. But only the liver can break down fructose. Fructose doesn’t initially trigger insulin or increase blood sugar. However, fructose can lead to a fatty liver, inflammation, scar tissue, and damage to other parts of the body. As the liver becomes fatty, you could also develop insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and high uric acid levels. Uric acid is behind gout, certain types of kidney stones, and damage to the arteries. The body actually deals with fructose the same as it would with alcohol. Even though fructose is low on the glycemic index, it’s very deadly. Many types of sugar, like table sugar, honey, beet sugar, and high fructose corn syrup, are 50 percent glucose and 50 percent fructose. But agave nectar is 85 percent fructose. This makes agave nectar the worst type of sugar you could consume. #sugar #deadliestsugar #agavenectar #agave #tablesugar #highfructose #beetsugar #honey Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Why You Are FATIGUED All the Time 30.07.2026 12minIf you're tired of feeling exhausted all the time, this is for you. In this video, I’ll share some tips to overcome burnout and chronic tiredness. Find out what causes chronic fatigue and address it at its root! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Common fatigue causes 0:12 Lack of sleep 1:47 Cellular hypothyroidism 2:43 Stress and fatigue 4:57 Histamine overload 5:38 Blood sugar fluctuations 6:07 Sleep disturbances 8:13 Increasing protein to combat chronic fatigue 1. Lack of sleep You could feel exhausted all the time simply because you lack sleep. Alcohol, overtraining, and eating too late can interfere with sleep. Chocolate consumption can increase theobromine, similar to caffeine, which can interfere with sleep if consumed too late. Try taking magnesium one hour before bed to help you relax. Vitamin B1 is also vital for quality sleep. Did you know that going outside in the morning to watch the sunrise can improve your sleep? Try it! 2. Cellular hypothyroidism Thyroid hormones go into every cell in your body, controlling metabolism and energy levels. If your thyroid is not working properly, you will likely experience fatigue. Increase selenium to improve thyroid function. Brazil nuts, sardines, shellfish, and grass-fed liver are excellent sources of selenium. 3. Stress A severe stress, such as the loss of a loved one, can cause your immune system to shut down because of the cortisol spike. This allows latent viruses like the Epstein-Barr virus to come out of remission and cause chronic fatigue syndrome. High doses of vitamin D can help. Try making your own L. reuteri yogurt, one of the best remedies for high cortisol. Increasing magnesium and sodium and taking long walks in the woods can also reduce cortisol levels. 4. Histamine overload An enzyme in your body naturally breaks down histamine. Alcohol, medications, and gut damage can inhibit this enzyme’s function, increasing histamine levels. Avoid aged cheeses, vinegar, canned fish, and fermented vegetables if you suspect a histamine sensitivity. 5. Blood sugar Consuming high amounts of carbohydrates or sugar during the day often leads to blood sugar fluctuations at night. Frequent night waking decreases energy during the day. Carb consumption depletes vitamin B1, which can cause restless legs syndrome, waking you up. 6. Sleep disturbances Sleep apnea and being too hot or too cold can interfere with your sleep. Frequent urination caused by too much snacking or too many carbs can also be the culprit. 7. Protein intake If you’re not consuming enough high-quality protein, it could be the reason you’re feeling exhausted all the time. Try adding more protein to each meal for a significant improvement in energy. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. What's Truly in Inexpensive Grocery Store Bacon 30.07.2026 10minWith so many different types of bacon at varying price points, choosing the best bacon can be difficult. Is expensive bacon worth it? In this video, we’ll compare cheap bacon vs. premium bacon—not just the flavor and price, but the true cost to your health. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Cheap vs. expensive bacon 0:27 Bacon quality difference 2:06 The bacon process 2:26 High-quality bacon 3:33 Dr. Berg’s bacon 4:51 Nitrates in bacon 5:46 Cooking pork The average commodity bacon at the grocery store is affordable, but is the more costly bacon worth it? Once a pig is weaned from its mother, it’s sent to a feedlot, weighing about 40 to 50 pounds. It will then live in a 7-square-foot area where it will be fattened to over 250 pounds in 3 to 4 months! Commercial pigs are fed GMO corn and soy. They’re also given drugs in the US, like ractopamine, to quickly increase muscle growth before slaughter. This drug is banned in 90 countries! Laws protect the privacy of these farms, so it’s difficult for the public to discover what truly occurs there. When bacon is processed, artificial smoke flavoring, salt, sugar, water, and MSG are typically added. This process is not generally used for high-quality bacon. Nitrates are chemicals that act as antibacterials and flavor enhancers. When exposed to high heat, however, they can turn into carcinogens. Singing Pastures is an excellent source of pasture-raised bacon. Pigs are rotated in small pastures to allow grass to regenerate. In Spain and Italy, pigs are often fed acorns. Pork is also cured to enhance flavor and quality. Pork is one of the best sources of vitamin B1. Pasture-raised pork contains vitamin D and trace minerals such as selenium and zinc. Lard is a healthy fat and, if it comes from a properly raised pig, is a great addition to cooking and baking. Overcooked bacon can create carcinogenic byproducts. Avoid this by cooking your bacon in the oven or air fryer. To counteract carcinogens, cook your bacon with olive oil, garlic, and onion. Avoid microwavable bacon! DATA: https://bmccancer.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1471-2407-9-187 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7662478/ https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0154337 Avoid These Synthetic Vitamins: ▶️ https://youtu.be/mAlaexDCC44 ▶️ https://youtu.be/bFpwPrnOQoY 0:00 Introduction: The MTHFR gene explained 0:52 MTHFR and detox 3:35 Toxins in the environment 5:23 How to support detoxification 7:42 Learn more about the MTHFR enzyme! Today we're going to talk about a common problem that affects your ability to detoxify chemicals and other toxins. This problem involves the MTHFR gene, known as the detox gene. It's also involved in creating neurotransmitters and in hormonal regulation. If you have a mutation or alternation with the MTHFR gene, you could lose 25% to 80% of the gene's function. A loss of function of the MTHFR gene could lead to potential complications, including: • Free radical damage • Oxidation • Inflammation • Fibrosis • Cirrhosis • Insulin resistance • Fatty liver • Poor digestion • Poor sleep • Gallstones • High cholesterol • Backup of bile Many chemicals in the environment are considered endocrine disrupters and estrogen disrupters, which may lead to various health concerns. If you have a genetic mutation of the MTHFR gene, a typical detox won't help you very much. You have to have a very clean lifestyle. With this mutation, your liver could have a difficult time just getting rid of things like alcohol or caffeine. But there are things you can do to help this gene work correctly. First off, you should avoid synthetic, enriched, and fortified foods and supplements. The best things to support detoxification if you have a mutation of the MTHFR gene: 1. Methylfolate 2. Methylcobalamin 3. Choline 4. Natural B vitamin complex (nutritional yeast) 5. Magnesium (leafy greens) 6. Let’s talk about stress and cortisol. I’ve seen many people get on the right track with their diet and exercise—but they're still stuck in fight-or-flight mode. Being in fight-or-flight mode, having elevated cortisol and adrenaline for a long period, isn’t healthy. Chronic stress has been known to negatively affect the body in many ways, including: • Shrinking your grey matter • Shrinking your thymus gland • Creating muscle atrophy • Decreasing testosterone • Running the body on sugar (even when you’re not eating sugar) • Disrupting healthy digestion • Reducing quality sleep Chronic worry and stress can also lead to ulcers, inflammation, and disease. An interesting study measured 39 people’s cortisol levels before and after a 45-minute art therapy session. This study found a significant reduction of cortisol in participants. I have found that hobbies are a fantastic way to stop the fixation on stress and move your attention to something more positive.
