Celebrating My Birthday In Mallorca 14.10.2026 39minEpisode 35. Allison is entering her next orbit in the sunshine, next to the sea, surrounded by vineyards and the most delicious fresh food she’s ever had. She’s joined by her mom, partner, baby and dog ~ which makes it even more special. It was a rough start to the trip with a super long flight delay, but it was uphill after that. Driving through the countryside with a 360 degree cotton candy sunset views and arriving to the house right on the ocean made the wait worthwhile. Allison shares some of the trip highlights so far such as an in-home massage, visiting an organic vineyard, and scenic drives to the cliffs on the northern tip of the island. If you aren’t super familiar with the island of Mallorca, you’ll also learn about it’s geography, lifestyle, agriculture, and main reasons to visit. It’s an incredible destination that brings millions of tourists annually so if you’ve been thinking of adding it to your bucket list ~ now you’ll have more insight into why! For Allison’s birthday, if you want to be incredible and leave a 5 star review on Spotify or Apple Podcasts that would be amazing. 444 Signature Journal Prompts: What are 4 physical sensations your body craves when it’s telling you to slow down and rest? Hair Theory (Voice Log) 09.10.2026 32minEpisode 34. With the bob chasing the hearts of girls all across Pinterest and Instagram, Allison wonders if she should jump on the trend or keep growing her hair out. Being postpartum, she’s desiring some TLC but wants to find the middle ground between sustainable maintenance and feeling like authentic herself. In this multi-part voice log recorded across a canal walk, a late night spiral, a gym stretch with Clay, and finally at the salon ~ she talks through her surprising hair growth from switching to a more meat-based healthy diet, the pros and cons of a short bob, why she wants to elevate her aura, a perm she’s been chasing since high school, and how her hair changed color during pregnancy without anyone warning her that was a thing. She ends up going long bob ~ collarbone length, more bangs, some layers. The AI agreed. The stylist agreed. And she was warmly welcomed at home by Clay and her mom’s reactions. The episode wraps with serendipity moments that prove how powerful our thoughts are in shaping our reality. My Favorite Things About October 07.10.2026 17minEpisode 33. October is Allison’s favorite month of the year so she eagerly updates listeners on what fall activities she’s been up to the last two weeks ~ such as visiting a pumpkin garden, an apple orchard and carnival, pumpkin lattes, baking and an ‘end-of-summer’ reset. She shares favorite foods, crafts, activities and mindset shifts that she’s leaned into in years past and wants to incorporate this fall as well. This episode is candidly a bit disorganized as she’s recording live from the park. She’s in the process of packing and cleaning for a 2 week trip abroad, so she wanted to soak up the glistening autumn afternoon under the big trees, admiring the leaves changing, picnickers and bikes passing by. She encourages listeners to lean into fall picnics with a thermos full of broth and pack a bag of art supplies. Stop Waiting For Someday (Voice Log) 02.10.2026 23minEpisode 32. What are you saving for “someday”? The dream trip, writing in your journal, a slower morning, a new skill, or simply baking your favorite homemade cookies. While delaying gratification has its place, many of us are trapped in a habit of postponing our joy, peace, and self-care until we reach an imagined finish line.In this episode, Allison breaks down why we need to stop waiting until life is quieter, easier, or more certain. She shares personal stories about a last-minute home exchange that turned a short birthday trip into two weeks in Mallorca, why she backed out of a prenatal Pilates training, and how she finally made peace with a tough daycare decision. Plus, a story about a wig that perfectly captures how we romanticize solutions that don’t actually solve the underlying problem. It’s a reminder to give yourself permission to do less, stop taking on things that sound better in theory than they feel in practice, and enjoy the life you have right now.Mentions / Links:ClassPass - Free Trial of 15 ClassesMy Fav Travel Card - Venture XPS: I started Group Trip planning! Mindset Shifts For Finding Friends In Adulthood 30.09.2026 24minEpisode 31. Most advice on making friends as an adult is too generic to actually help. After Allison shared some of her successful friendship stories (episode 29), she reflected on how she met those friends, how they determined mutual compatibility, and what has made the friendship last. Allison shares what helped her build genuine friendships across multiple countries and life transitions. She covers five actionable approaches: being the brave initiator, making specific plans instead of vague intentions, using third places and proximity to your advantage, accepting asymmetry at the beginning of a friendship, and knowing your own integration test for who makes it into your inner circle. She also gets into what it means to turn the mirror on yourself first ~ what kind of friend you are, what you can realistically offer in this season of life, and why knowing your Venus sign might give you more clarity on your friendship style than you'd expect. A quick, practical and reflective episode.444 Signature Reflection:What are four places or situations where you have naturally connected with people in the past? Successful Adult Friendship Stories 23.09.2026 15minEpisode 29. Making and maintaining friendships as an adult requires intentional effort. In this wholesome and special episode, Allison reflects on a few of her close friendships. She shares five beautiful stories of strangers turned lifelong friends, and the effort it took to get there. You’ll hear how she met them, the act of courage they both made to take the next step from stranger to acquaintance, and then ways they continue to nurture their connection to keep the bond alive. Each story is both unique and universal. From a yoga instructor turned friend, to a secondhand shop owner in Haarlem who got pregnant and had a baby at the same time as Allison, to a chance meeting at a communal table in Tulum, a soul sister found in Marfa Texas, and the co-host who showed up to a garage sale in her hometown. All of these carry a real lesson about what it takes to build connection as an adult.444 Signature Reflection:What are four qualities you look for in a friend?Mentions / Links:Faith’s Secondhand Shop - ReviveMick’s Nervous System Reset Workshop Oct 4 and Nov 1Didi - Intuitive ReadingsClassPass - Free Trial of 15 ClassesMy Fav Travel Card - Venture XSupport The Show:Every episode and email takes at least 10 hours of research, recording, editing, and creative strategy. From Dream to Goal: Speaking Big Scary Things Into Existence (Voice Log) 18.09.2026 18minEpisode 28. What is a dream that you want so badly that you’re scared to say it out loud for fear of it never coming true? One of those for Allison is having a home base in her 3 favorite places ~ Omaha, Haarlem and Tulum. Each offers something special that the other doesn’t. Cumulatively they add a depth and color to her life that living in just one place couldn’t. In this candid voice log, Allison shares why she's ready to stop holding herself back. As she reflects on a journal she's about to finish, she reads back through entries that were once just dreams and are now reality. This practice lets her get excited about what's coming. The broader takeaway is trying this trick: think of something you dream about and remove the "but" ~ instead of "I want this, but it's too expensive / too unrealistic / too much to ask," just sitting with "I want this" and letting that be enough to start. This episode is a good listen for anyone who has been playing small, waiting for the perfect moment, or talking themselves out of things before they've even begun. It's a reminder that speaking things into existence starts with being brave enough to say them out loud (to yourself, your journal, or a loved one) before you have it all figured out.Mentions / Links:ClassPass - Free Trial of 15 ClassesMy Fav Travel Card - Venture XSupport The Show:Every episode and email takes at least 10 hours of research, recording, editing, and creative strategy. Inspiration: 10 Things Breathing Life Into Me 16.09.2026 14minEpisode 27. After a busy stretch of creative output with marketing the shop’s end of summer sale and finishing the handbook ~ while still maintaining two podcast episodes a week and posting across multiple social medias channels, Allison needed to fill her cup rather than keep pouring from it.In this quick and light episode, she shares 10 things currently breathing life into her: from people watching in the city center to watching ‘expansive’ long-form content, to candlelit dinners, etymology deep dives, the seasons changing, binaural beats, curating Hayes’ wardrobe, her favorite third place cafe, and honing in on the family Google Calendar.A good listen for anyone in a season of high output or someone stuck in a creative rut who needs a reminder that inspiration is available everywhere ~ if you slow down enough to notice it.444 Signature Reflection Questions:What are four things that limit you from feeling inspired? Day In The Life: Work, Motherhood and Wellness (Voice Log) 11.09.2026 41minEpisode 26. Juggling being a business owner, content creator, and stay at home mom. Allison often gets asked how she manages running her brands remotely, keeps active, and raises a baby abroad without daycare or family nearby. This episode shows an unfiltered inside look into a typical full Thursday in Haarlem from morning to night. Starting the day with Hayes crawling all over her while she’s getting ready, to a coffee shop remote-work power session to get her stores marketing campaign created and executed, to editing this episode during nap time. Then a nice afternoon with outside time, chores around the house, a baby playdate at a local kids cafe, a gym session with Hayes, and biking 13 miles without even trying. Ending the day with a delicious family dinner, homemade banana popsicles and a candlelit work session. Listeners will get an inside perspective on what creating a balanced day looks like for Allison. Not perfect, but functional and genuinely enjoyable most of the time. Protecting Your Peace: The Real Cost of a Regulated Nervous System 09.09.2026 29minEpisode 25. Everyone talks about regulating your nervous system ~ but what does that actually mean and why does it matter so much? In this value packed episode, Allison breaks down what stress really is, the difference between good stress and bad stress, and why chronic dysregulation has consequences far beyond just feeling anxious. It has measurable impacts on your immune system, brain function, long term health and relationships. She also gets into something that doesn’t get discussed enough: having a regulated nervous system isn’t free. It costs you effort, boundaries, healing, saying no, overcoming people pleasing tendencies, and constant conscious work. Understanding co-regulation (the neuroscience behind why nervous system states are genuinely contagious) means recognizing that you shouldn’t give your hard earned peace away to everyone who asks for it.Just like you lock your front door or protect your finances, your inner calm deserves that same level of intention and protection. Allison covers practical tools to add to your regulation toolkit, how to recognize dysregulation across the eight dimensions of wellness, and why reducing your daily mental load through systems and routines is one of the most underrated regulation strategies available.Signature 444 Journal Prompt / Reflections:What are four physical signs that tell you your nervous system is dysregulated? A Very Serendipitous 48 Hours (Voice Log) 04.09.2026 30minEpisode 24. Come along for a 48 hour real-time voice log as I capture the behind the scenes of launching a new product. The episode starts with the high-energy of launch jitters as Allison works at a cafe to put the final touches on things. Then a sweaty workout leads to a sauna debrief after receiving a ‘tough-love’ message from a listener. This reflection brings up questions on business growth, career shifts, money mindset, hiring a mentor, exploring new opportunities and recognizing your worth. She ends the day watching the sunset on the canal. In the second half, Allison takes listeners on a morning walk, follow by a day trip to Amsterdam for a Mamasocial ‘Babies and Bubbles’ event. Socializing with champagne was a perfect way to celebrate and take her mind off work for a few hours. As she was leaving, a chance encounter happens on the street, resulting in a shared ride home. How To Balance Creating & Consuming 02.09.2026 15minEpisode 23. The idea for this episode came to Allison mid-meditation, in a nervous system reset class at her yoga studio. A moment of gratitude for motherhood led her down a rabbit hole of thinking about creativity, consumption, and what happens when either gets out of balance.Allison explores creating and consuming as two sides of the same spectrum ~ neither inherently good or bad, both necessary. She covers what each fulfills in us, signs you’re overcreating or overconsuming, how to bring more awareness to the ratio in your own life, and ways we can create + consume with intention. Plus a useful neurological explanation for why working in a coffee shop actually helps you focus.Plus…. The New Wave Handbook is also officially live! (View Here)I specifically timed the launch of it with a new month, Labor Day weekend coming up and a new season around the corner… all ideal opportunities for a fresh start, reset or a deep cleaning session. For those who purchase, I hope you enjoy it and it adds so much value to your life. Why did I create this guide? We all deserve to live the life we dream of. I always knew I’d find a way to travel and live abroad, open a clothing store, marry my dream man, have passive remote income, create daily, and get to do whatever I want most days.Since 2020, I have lived in 10+ different homes. Most were short term for a couple of months and a few for 1-2 years. Despite moving around across 5 countries… I managed my businesses, never once got sick, stayed physically active, got pregnant in a foreign country, had a baby in a different foreign country, posted a podcast episode every single week, kept my social life alive, the house cleaned, and never went into credit card debt. The answer to maintaining those aspects of my life is that I’ve learned how to build incredibly resilient systems, slow down enough to know what I do and don’t want, execute (work, gym, hobbies, cook) in imperfect conditions, find joy in small things, utilize what I already have, learn from my mistakes and make the most out of any circumstance. I’ve spent countless hours this summer during Hayes’ naps and bedtime pouring all of these routines, mindset shifts and advice into a 60 page handbook. 10 Things Bringing Me Joy Lately (Voice Log) 28.08.2026 26minEpisode 22. Allison is walking Peaches along the canal at 8am, coffee in hand, and birds chirping. She has something she needs to be honest about. Someone very close to her is going through the hardest time of their life, and it’s been weighing heavily on her. She’s not going to share the details out of respect for their privacy, but she didn’t want to just pretend everything is fine either. Instead of a heavy episode, she’s doing something that’s been genuinely helping her through it: making a list of 10 things that are bringing her real joy right now. From creating with purpose, to baby playdates, cooking her own food, a secondhand iPhone upgrade, her dental care routine, pouring into this podcast, integrating into the Haarlem community, continuing mindful movement, and the relief of letting go of something that was no longer aligned. Plus a lovely serendipity moment captured at the end that will leave you wanting to do something kind for someone.Mentions / Links:Save Big on Secondhand Tech from Back Market - $10 Off Code (b1b92805e7d151f8) Baby Bike Seat - Shop HereNew Wave Handbook:I have been working on something I am really proud of! Finding Your Third Place 26.08.2026 25minEpisode 21. We all need a sense of belonging. Allison introduces the concept of third places and makes the case for why having two or three of them might be one of the most important investments you can make in your wellbeing. She covers the research on loneliness, what makes a good third place, how many you actually need, and shares examples across all eight dimensions of wellness. She also gets personal about areas she is adding more community into ~ giving the international church potluck a try, visiting the library three times in one week, a co-working swap with her friend, a welcoming beer garden nearby on the water, and utilizing ClassPass as a gateway to finding more physical third places. This episode is very timely for fall when classes start, clubs reform, and the cultural energy naturally pulls us toward new rhythms and routines.Mentions / Links:Ray Oldenburg’s Book - The Great Good Place2023 Surgeon General’s Advisory - Loneliness EpidemicDr. Susan Pinker’s Book - The Village EffectClassPass - Free TrialSoho House - AboutSignature 444 Reflection:What are 4 places outside your home and work where you currently feel most like yourself? Visiting My Secondhand Shop and Family in Omaha (Voice Log) 08.08.2026 29minEpisode 17. Allison is back in Omaha and one of her first stops is 1404 Collective, her secondhand clothing shop. She actively manages it from abroad through scheduling, marketing, and daily operations. In this voice log she gives an honest, behind-the-scenes look at what it feels like to return to her business that she hasn’t seen in months… and the genuine pride of seeing it all still operating beautifully. While her incredible team of vendors keeps things running on the ground, coming back in person means rolling up her sleeves (with the help of her mom and sister) for the projects that need her hands on attention: tagging and steaming items from her own closet, swapping the door lock, dusting the chandelier, sorting through accumulated mail, reorganizing the floor displays, hosting a staff gathering party, and prepping for a baby clothes pop-up event. She also shares a few fun thrift tips.To wrap up, Allison gets real about the other side of visiting her hometown: the overwhelming desire to see everyone, the go-go-go pace of a big city, car culture shock after a year of biking everywhere in Haarlem, the jet lag, and Peaches emergency vet visit. This real time dispatch captures the bittersweet feeling of an experience that nourishes your soul while also asking more than you have to give.Mentions:1404 Collective - Instagram, Website, GoogleTop Vendor at 1404 - Vintage Huntress EFT Tapping for Anxiety - Meditation on SpotifyHenry Doorly ZooJoslyn Art MuseumOmaha Central LibraryNew Wave Handbook Coming Soon:I have been working on something I am really proud of and starting today, on 8/8, I am opening it up early for those of you who have been waiting. The New Wave Handbook is a comprehensive guide to organizing every area of your life ~ your kitchen, your closet, your finances, your body, your home, your family and everything in between.
