  • Episode 88: Friendships Round the Campfire 22.07.2026 16min
This is episode 88 (not 86 as I said on the recording!)This month I'm talking to Kathy about the different ways of making connections. How it's not only about networking in a room with business pitches, why not strip it back to being in nature, around a campfire, telling stories, sharing lives and songs, but with people you might not have met yet??Kathy Sanderson is the founder of Community Camping & Healing Gatherings and Healing From Within, based on 25 acres of woodland and meadow in South West Wales. She creates real life communities around campfires, helping people reconnect with themselves, each other and nature in a world that has become increasingly disconnected. As an Inner Child Healing practitioner and creator of botanical and mushroom remedies, Kathy believes healing happens through connection with ourselves, each other and the natural world.Living with Type 1 diabetes since childhood has shaped her understanding of resilience, and her work is rooted in one simple belief: sometimes the greatest healing doesn't happen in a therapy room. Sometimes it happens around a campfire, sharing stories with people who make you feel like you belong.WebsitesHealing From Withinwww.healingfromwithin.co.ukCommunity Camping & Healing Gatheringswww.communitygatherings.ukInstagramHealing From Withinhttps://www.instagram.com/healingfromwithinukCommunity Camping & Healing Gatheringshttps://www.instagram.com/communitygatheringsukFacebookHealing From Within UKwww.facebook.com/healingfromwithinukCommunity Camping & Healing Gatheringswww.facebook.com/communitygatheringsTikTokHealing From Withinhttps://www.tiktok.com/@healing_from_withinCommunity Camping & Healing Gatheringshttps://www.tiktok.com/@community.camping

  • Episode 84: Frequencies: The Future of Medicine 22.05.2026 21min
This month I'm talking to Michele about frequencies and how they can help every bit of life."I’m Michele, founder of Lumo Wellness. An award winning business Lumo was created from one simple belief: wellbeing should feel accessible, supportive, and able to fit into real life.My journey into frequency wellness started through my own healing. After navigating trauma, estrangement from my family of origin, surgical menopause, and raising a newly diagnosed autistic child, I was looking for something that could support my mental and emotional wellbeing in a gentle, realistic way. I didn’t have the luxury of stepping away from life to heal. I needed something that helped me stay grounded, regulated and present while still managing everyday life and parenting. That’s when I found frequency-based wellbeing. The easiest way I describe it is through music. We all know how certain music can affect how we feel. Calm music can settle anxiety, and an uplifting song can completely shift your mood within minutes. Frequency wellness works on a similar principle, using specific frequencies to support balance, regulation and wellbeing within the body and nervous system. It’s gentle, non-invasive, and designed to work alongside whatever else you already do to support your health.Through Lumo Wellness, I offer remote frequency scans where I assess what your body and energy may need support with and create a bespoke blend tailored specifically to you.I also created the Be Collection A range of frequency-infused everyday products designed to support you gently throughout the day, including lip balms, bracelets, necklaces and stickers in blends such as Be Calm, Be Happy, Be Focused and Be Abundant.I like to think of them as little pockets of support you can carry with you wherever you go. Originally when I set up as a piano tutor, I wanted to appeal to anyone and everyone, I chanced saying I specialised in teaching older adults because it meant more daytime slots, but that backfired within the first year! • Episode 71: What We Don't Talk About 10.11.2025 14min
It's Men's Mental Health Awareness Month this month, so ahead of my guest, I'm talking about mental health in my family. When I met Dr G he was always the calm one against my stress! we're a lot more balanced now, and I've learnt a lot along the way, and we're able to communicate more efficiently about mental health (both ways) But Men's Mental Health is still very much stigmatised in society, so I'm contributing to the need to talk more (with Dr G's permission for his insights)
