The Temple and the Plan | Ezra Gwilliam | June 2026 23.06.2026This Devotional address with Ezra Gwilliam was delivered on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. MST in the BYU-Idaho Center. Ezra Gwilliam grew up in the small logging community of Vanderhoof, British Columbia, Canada. He served as a full-time missionary in the California Roseville Mission from 2002-2004. Brother Gwilliam earned a bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho, followed by a master’s degree in literacy and a doctoral degree in education from Boise State University. Before joining the BYU-Idaho religious education faculty in 2018, he spent ten years teaching seminary and institute in the Boise, Idaho area. Brother Gwilliam has served in numerous Church callings, including elder’s quorum president, priest quorum advisor, gospel doctrine teacher, counselor in a bishopric, and bishop. He currently serves on the high council. Ezra Gwilliam married Lindsey Ward in July 2005. Together they have five children. He loves the Holy Land, sports, teaching, hiking, trail running, and spending time with his family.

Children of the Restoration | Elder & Sister Caussé | June 2026 14.06.2026This Devotional address with Elder Gérald Caussé and Sister Valérie Caussé was delivered on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. MST in the BYU-Idaho Center. Elder Gérald Caussé was called to serve as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve on November 6, 2025. At the time of his call, he had been serving as the Presiding Bishop of the Church since October 2015. Prior to this calling, he had served as the First Counselor in the Presiding Bishopric since March 2012. He previously served as a General Authority Seventy and as a counselor in the Europe Area Presidency. He has served in numerous Church callings, including elders quorum president, counselor in a bishopric, counselor in a stake presidency, stake president, and Area Seventy. Elder Caussé received a master’s degree in business from ESSEC in 1987. His career has been in strategy consulting and the food industry, where he has worked with several retail and food distribution companies. At the time of his call as a General Authority Seventy, he was the managing director of Pomona, a food distribution company in France. Elder Caussé is also an accomplished pianist and has participated in the recording of several piano albums. Gérald Caussé was born in Bordeaux, France, on May 20, 1963. Sister Valérie Caussé was born in Nancy, France, and grew up in the Paris area. She studied to become an elementary school teacher and met Elder Caussé while they were attending the same young single adult ward in Paris. She married Gérald Caussé in the Bern Switzerland Temple in August 1986. They are the parents of four daughters and one son. Sister Caussé considers it a great privilege and joy to have been a stay-at-home mother. In addition to raising her family, she served for seven years on the city council in her community in France, where she oversaw school affairs.

Divine Intelligence Guiding Our Use of Artificial Intelligence | Sam Eidam | June 2026 09.06.2026This Devotional address with Sam Eidam was delivered on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. MST in the BYU-Idaho Center. Sam Eidam is a native of Ashton, Idaho. He was raised with a deep appreciation for hard work, faith, and the outdoors—values that continue to guide both his professional and personal life. Brother Eidam earned a bachelor’s degree in business management with an emphasis in corporate finance from BYU-Idaho and completed a master’s degree in management and leadership from Western Governors University. He has worked at BYU-Idaho for the past 12 years. Throughout his life, Brother Eidam has served as a primary teacher, financial clerk, counselor in several elders quorum presidencies, and counselor in a bishopric. He currently serves on the Rexburg Idaho East Stake High Council. Brother Eidam served a mission in Oakland, California. He has been married to his wife, Tayla, for 22 years. They have four children and enjoy spending time mountain biking, hiking, and downhill skiing.

Christlike Resiliency | Elder Mark A. Bragg | June 2026 02.06.2026This Devotional address with Elder Mark A. Bragg was delivered on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Elder Mark A. Bragg was sustained as a General Authority Seventy on April 2, 2016. At the time of his call, he was serving as an Area Seventy in the North America West Area. He has served in the South America South Area Presidency and as President of the North America West Area. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Family History Department and Chairman of FamilySearch International. Elder Bragg additionally has served as a full-time missionary in the México Monterrey Mission, ward mission leader, high councilor, bishop, stake president, and Area Seventy. Elder Bragg majored in marketing and Spanish at the University of Utah and began his career as vice president of Great Western Bank in Los Angeles. Most recently, he worked as a senior vice president at Bank of America. Mark Allyn Bragg was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He married Yvonne King in 1984 in the Los Angeles Temple. They are the parents of four children and five grandchildren. Elder Bragg enjoys all sports, particularly basketball and pickleball.

Spiritual Discernment | Selena Robins | May 2026 26.05.2026This Devotional address with Selena Robins was delivered on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Selena Robins grew up in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, and moved to Utah at age 15. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Brigham Young University, where she met her husband, Cameron, during their first week as freshmen. While raising her family, she completed a master’s degree in instructional technology and learning science from Utah State University. After moving to Rexburg, Selena began working in Online Learning, primarily supporting BYU-Pathway Worldwide in several roles, including Program Designer, Grading Manager, and Academic Support Manager. She currently works as the Curriculum Maintenance Manager here on campus. Sister Robins served in the Romania Bucharest Mission and is the mother of five children.

A Great Check | Elder B. Corey Cuvelier | May 2026 19.05.2026This Devotional address with Elder B. Corey Cuvelier was delivered on May 19, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Elder B. Corey Cuvelier was sustained as a General Authority Seventy in the April 2025 General Conference. At the time of his call, he was serving as a member of the Eleventh Quorum of the Seventy in the North America Southwest Area. Elder Cuvelier has served in several Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Brazil São Paulo South Mission, bishop, high councilor, stake president, mission president, and Area Seventy. Elder Cuvelier received a bachelor of arts degree in public relations from BYU in 1994. He joined Shell Oil Company in 1996 and spent his career leading various businesses in North America. He has also served as a director and officer on several national and regional boards. Brian Corey Cuvelier was born in Los Angeles, California, on January 12, 1969. He married Wendi Sue Manwaring in 1992. They are the parents of four children.

Become Legendary | Trent Shippen | May 2026 12.05.2026This Devotional address with Trent Shippen was delivered on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Trent Shippen played basketball for Ricks College while earning an associate’s degree in arts and sciences. He later graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science, and from the University of Utah with a master’s degree in sports management. Trent began his career with the Church Educational System in the Ricks College Admissions Office while coaching men’s and women’s basketball. Later, he coached the BYU women’s basketball team for five years. He has been working in Student Activities since 2002. Trent enjoys spending time with family, playing and watching sports, faculty noon hoops, and being outdoors. He and his wife, Jean, have six children and one grandchild. Trent has served in almost every organization in the Church and currently serves with Jean as a valiant activity leader.

Be True to the Voice of God | Elder Robert C. Gay | May 2026 05.05.2026This Devotional address with Elder Robert C. Gay was delivered on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Elder Robert C. Gay is an emeritus General Authority Seventy. As a General Authority, he served in the Presidency of the Seventy, as an Area President, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Church Educational System. He also directed the development of the Church’s self-reliance program. He and his wife, Lynette, have co-founded, served in, and currently work with multiple global humanitarian organizations. They are the founders of Ensign Global University, the only U.S. accredited university for public health in Africa, where they also served as mission leaders. Prior to full-time Church service, Elder Gay worked in private equity investment management. He earned a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University, where he also taught economics. He and his wife are the parents of seven children and grandparents to 23 grandchildren.

The Transforming Power of Jesus Christ | Kassandra M. Mackley | April 2026 28.04.2026This Devotional address with Kassandra M. Mackley was delivered on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Kassandra M. Mackley grew up in Utah, Virginia, and Blackfoot, Idaho. She served in the Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Vancouver, Washington Missions. Kassandra graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and is pursuing a master’s degree in Professional Communication at Southern Utah University. She has worked at BYU-Idaho for nearly five years and currently serves as the Tours and Events Coordinator. Kassandra also serves as her ward’s service activities coordinator and as a JustServe social media specialist for the United States Central Area. For the past four years she has volunteered with the Rexburg Family Crisis Center. Kassandra enjoys reading, road trips, and attending concerts. She especially loves spending time with her family, close friends, her YSA ward family, and her work family at BYU-Idaho.

Building Intentional Families | Sister Jennifer E. Meredith | April 2026 21.04.2026This Devotional address with Jennifer E. Meredith was delivered on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Jennifer E. Meredith received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Brigham Young University. She worked in Human Resources for Franklin Covey. Sister Meredith served as a mission leader with her husband in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission. She has served as a presidency member in multiple church organizations and as a full-time missionary in the Argentina Salta Mission. President and Sister Meredith were married on June 6, 1998, in the Salt Lake Temple, and they are the parents of six children.

How Can One Person Be a Peacemaker? | President Alvin F. Meredith III | April 2026 21.04.2026This Devotional address with President Alvin F. Meredith III was delivered on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Alvin F. Meredith III became the 18th president of Brigham Young University-Idaho on August 1, 2023. He was sustained as a General Authority Seventy on April 3, 2021, and continues to serve in that role today. Prior to his call as a General Authority, President Meredith served as president of the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission. He also served as an Area Seventy in the North America Southeast and Asia Areas, and in a number of other Church callings including as a full-time missionary in the Utah Salt Lake City Mission. In his professional career, President Meredith worked as a senior executive of Asurion in Tennessee, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He also worked for The Boston Consulting Group and GE Capital. President Meredith earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Conversion | Jon Linford | March 2026 31.03.2026This Devotional address with Jon Linford was delivered on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Jon Linford currently serves as the Academic Vice President at Brigham Young University–Idaho, where he oversees Academic Administration, college deans, and faculty. Jon attended Ricks College before earning both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Brigham Young University. He also earned a doctoral degree from Arizona State University. Prior to joining BYU–Idaho, Jon was an operatic baritone and Professor of Voice and Opera at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He later joined the BYU-Idaho Music Department teaching voice and opera. In 2010, Jon was invited to serve as the Dean of Foundations and Interdisciplinary Studies. In 2015, he became the Online Vice President and served in this role until April 2021. Jon was raised on a sheep ranch in southeastern Idaho. He served in the Scotland Glasgow mission from 1978 to 1980. He and his wife Evelyn are the parents of three children and grandparents of three grandchildren. Jon is a passionate gardener and spends most of his free time in his own and others’ gardens.

A Prophet’s Vision for Your Education | Justin Collings | March 2026 24.03.2026This Devotional address with Justin Collings was delivered on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Justin Collings began his career at BYU when he joined the J. Reuben Clark Law School faculty in 2013. He is a former Fulbright Fellow and is the author of two books and various articles on subjects related to constitutional law and constitutional history. He is also the author of a book about divine law in the Doctrine and Covenants, published by BYU's Maxwell Institute. Justin is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where he double-majored in English and Italian. He is also a graduate of Yale University, where he earned a JD and a PhD in history. Before beginning his teaching career, he worked as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. In 2022, Justin was appointed BYU’s associate academic vice president for faculty development, and since June 2023, he has served as BYU’s academic vice president. He is married to the incomparable Lia Collings, and they are the parents of eight children.

Anchored in Christ | Elder Clement M. Matswagothata | March 2026 10.03.2026This Devotional address with Elder Clement M. Matswagothata was delivered on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Elder Clement M. Matswagothata was sustained as a General Authority Seventy at the April 2025 general conference. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a temple ordinance worker in the Johannesburg South Africa Temple and as an area self-reliance specialist. Elder Matswagothata has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the South Africa Capetown Mission, high councilor, bishop, stake president, and Area Seventy. Elder Matswagothata received a bachelor of philosophy degree. He has worked in the automotive industry since 2004 with various car brands. He has held several leadership positions including sales manager, general manager, and country manager for Barloworld Motor. Clement Mosiame Matswagothata was born in Middlepits, Botswana, on January 8, 1980. He married Novelty Busisiwe Buthelezi in 2004. They are the parents of three children.

President Dallin H. Oaks and the Law of Witnesses | Elder Neil L. Andersen | February 2026 22.02.2026This Devotional address with Elder Neil L. Andersen was delivered on Sunday, February 22 at 5:00 PM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Elder Andersen was named to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on April 4, 2009. Neil L. Andersen was born in Logan, Utah, and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. He graduated from Brigham Young University, where he was a Hinckley Scholar, and earned a masters of business administration from Harvard University. After completing his education, he settled in Tampa, Florida, where his business interests included advertising, real estate development and health care. Elder Andersen and his wife, Kathy Williams Andersen, are the parents of four children. Prior to his call as a general authority, Elder Andersen served as a mission president in the France Bordeaux Mission and as president of the Tampa Florida Stake. He was serving as the senior member of the Presidency of the Seventy prior to his calling to the Quorum of the Twelve. He was named a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy in April 1993, at age 41. Elder Andersen previously led the work of the Church in southern Brazil and, again as a member of an area presidency, oversaw the Church in western Europe. He has also assisted in supervising the work of the Church in Mexico and Central America. In addition, he supervised Church audiovisual production, including the filming of “The Testaments: Of One Fold and One Shepherd” and managed construction of the broadcast facilities in the Conference Center as the executive director of the Church Audiovisual Department. He speaks French, Portuguese and Spanish in addition to his native English.

I Will Prepare the Way Before You | Neihlee Muir | February 2026 03.02.2026This Devotional address with Neihlee Muir was delivered on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Neihlee Muir came to BYU-Idaho in 2003, and just one week after arriving in Rexburg, she met her husband, Tyler. They were married later that year and are now the proud parents of three boys. Neihlee and her family have made their home in the Ashton, Idaho area for the past 20 years. Neihlee loves playing the violin, softball, ice hockey, snowmobiling, and riding horses with her family, but her favorite hobby is cheering on her boys in baseball, football, hockey, and rodeo. While raising her children, Neihlee continued her education and worked in both general contractor and subcontractor roles. She earned an associate’s degree in architectural technology and later completed a bachelor’s degree in construction management from BYU-Idaho. She also earned a master’s degree in management and leadership from Western Governors University. Neihlee has worked in BYU-Idaho’s Construction Management Services department since 2012. She has served in various church callings, including Sunday School teacher, Young Women’s advisor, and stake family history consultant. She is currently serving as the first counselor in her ward’s Young Women’s presidency.

Washing Their Nets | Jennifer Platt | January 2026 20.01.2026This Devotional address with Jennifer B. Platt was delivered on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Jennifer Brinkerhoff Platt is the daughter of Spencer and Alice Brinkerhoff and was born and raised in Arizona. She earned a PhD in educational psychology from Arizona State University. As a single adult, she led the first youth conference held in Ethiopia. Sister Platt has a deep love for the Church Educational System and has been a religious educator for 25 years. She taught seminary and institute in Arizona and has been a religion faculty member on three different BYU campuses: BYU, BYU–Idaho, and BYU–Hawaii. Sister Platt is currently the Associate Department Chair of Religious Education here on campus. Her happy places include the House of the Lord, her garden, the middle of a good book, and anywhere the sun is shining. Whether it is the BYU Cougars, shy Primary children, or weary marathon runners, Jennifer loves cheering for people. She is married to Jed Platt and is the mother of two children.
