We explored the concept of theological triage, understanding that some issues sit at the very core of the faith, and the deity of Christ is one of them. To have biblical salvation, you must believe in the biblical Jesus. Nothing can hold the chief place in our lives other than Him, and sophistication must never be allowed to quietly displace the Jesus of Scripture.The creeds were not invented to complicate the faith. They were forged to defend and preserve it. The Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed both anchor us to the truth that Jesus is uniquely begotten, eternally the Son of God, fully God and fully man, and that the incarnation is not a footnote to the Christian faith. It is the heart of it. What makes His life and death unlike anything else in history is precisely who He is. The only qualifying mark is divine inspiration. Many writings may be helpful, insightful, even historically significant, but only those inspired by God stand as the rule of faith.Canonicity was not invented by a committee. Scripture was recognised through God's prophetic authorship, confirmed in the very nature of the text itself. And the Book of Esther is one of the most striking examples: God is never once mentioned by name, yet His providence, covenant faithfulness, and sovereign hand are visible on every page. We saw throughout Scripture that God is not afraid of our questions, and that believers can bring their doubts honestly before Him.We also learnt that faith does not mean having every answer. There comes a point where knowledge reaches its limit and faith requires a response. God calls us to seek truth sincerely, to ask questions with the right heart, and to remember that the goal is not merely to win arguments, but to win people.Most importantly, we were reminded that doubt should not drive us away from God, but closer to Him. Read, learn, ask questions, speak to wise spiritual leaders, and take your doubts to Jesus. There is grace for the believer who genuinely wants to know and trust God more.
