  • 180. Doug Wilson Is Wrong About Worship 04.06.2026 40min
In this episode, Chris Hume responds to three clips thatreveal a serious confusion of priorities in parts of the Reformed world.First, Doug Wilson claims that Sunday worship is the mostimportant thing a Christian does. Chris explains why this statement, though common, actually inverts the biblical order. God repeatedly shows us that He values justice and righteousness more highly than ritual and religiousobservance.Second, Wilson makes a revealing comment about structuringlaws to achieve desired outcomes. Chris pushes back on the idea that we are called to tinker with or redesign God’s Law in order to get better results. Finally, Chris addresses a statement from Dan Horn, whoargued that speeding is a sin and that churches should not elect pastors who speed. This comment exposes a deeper problem: treating man-made regulations as moral law.Throughout the episode, Chris argues that we have largelyinverted God’s priority list. Justice and righteousness are weightier matters than liturgy and institutional worship — and when we get this backwards, we distort the Christian life.More resources on speeding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=CQ3NXWjopv4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClPN2J3DyL4https://youtu.be/QzN0Pm3fSFU?si=Kggg37ndKqN04tOY
  • 179. Matt Walsh Gets Halfway to Lancastrian Theonomy 24.05.2026 51min
In this episode, Chris Hume begins with the federal government’s latest crackdown on “antisemitism” and how Executive Orders 13899 and 14188 are expanding the definition of unlawful speech. He then plays a key clip from Matt Walsh that gets remarkably close to the Lancastrian theonomic position — before Walsh falls back into statism. Chris closes by addressing the immigration debate through a recent Future of Christendom meme, showing that the real problem is not people coming over the border, but what we are mass-producing inside our own borders through the rejection of God’s Law.

  • 177. Statist Slavery, Biblical Servitude, and Leviticus 25 21.11.2025 44min
In this episode of The Lancaster Patriot Podcast, Chris Hume contrasts statist slavery with biblical servitude and looks at a section of Leviticus 25. The ugly truth is that the United States has the fourth-highest incarceration rate on earth (behind only El Salvador, Cuba, and Rwanda), nearly 2 million souls locked in cages, a 70+% recidivism rate, and a system that turns petty offenders into lifetime wards of the state — all funded by your taxes. Most damning of all: the modern prison-industrial complex is the direct antithesis of the biblical law concerning servants. While man-made law locks men up for years with no path to restitution and no hope of restoration, God’s Law offers a different path.

  • 175. Atheist Arguments Against Biblical Slavery 16.10.2025 1h
Chris Hume follows up on his recent public debate with atheist Wilson Whiting by addressing the common atheist argument against biblical slavery. A common tactic among atheists is to simply read biblical law and watch Christians squirm. But this only happens because the church has not been taught to understand and love the Law of God. This episode will equip you to respond to the common atheist objection: "The Bible endorses slavery."Watch the HUME vs. WILSON Debate: https://youtu.be/Bu1d-s7B17U?si=mQIdveH0G9zD0Hla

The untimely death of Charlie Kirk has sent waves of grief and reflection across the American landscape, placing the intersection of faith and public life center stage. In this episode of The Lancaster Patriot, Chris Hume offers five essential biblical guideposts for Christians navigating the conversation surrounding Kirk’s public memorial service and the state of Christianity in American conservatism.
