  • 104 | Do You Talk to Your Body Like It’s God’s Artwork or Your Enemy? | Self‑Worth, Mom Guilt, Biblical Identity, Devotion 31.07.2026 10min
Do you ever catch yourself speaking about your body or your worth in ways that would break your heart if your kids said the same things about themselves? Have you embraced self-criticism instead of being thankful of the worth God has for you? Are you noticing the moments where you treat yourself as less valuable than the women you serve, love, or admire — even though Scripture says you were created with the same intentionality and beauty? If so, you’re in the right place.  Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. I learned the not‑so‑secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, building simple routines that supported my priorities, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self‑esteem and self‑worth really look like in everyday motherhood. In Time for Mom, we have honest conversations about comparison, practical devotional moments, and encouragement you can tuck into the cracks of your day. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity, and love yourself the way your babies already do — grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone. It’s Time for Mom. In this episode, I’m sharing how God reshapes our self‑esteem and identity through Scripture so you can finally see yourself the way He sees you — with truth, grace, and the kind of love you freely give everyone else. Loving your neighbor starts with learning to love yourself the way God intended — with grace, not self‑criticism. Humility isn’t self‑deprecation; it’s shifting your focus outward while honoring God’s workmanship in you. Speaking harshly about yourself contradicts God’s truth about who He created you to be. Your body is a God‑designed vessel — purposeful, capable, and worthy of care. You were created intentionally, beautifully, and for God’s glory — nothing about you is accidental. • 103 | 4 Ways Moms Can Escape the Comparison Trap and Restore Peace 29.07.2026 13min
Have you ever looked at your friends, family, or even a stranger and wonder how they are able do all the things you want to do? Are you wishing your home looked like your friends? Do you wish you could trade homes and lives with someone else because they seem to have the life you want? If so, you’re in the right place.  Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. I learned the not‑so‑secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, building simple routines that supported my priorities, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self‑esteem and self‑worth really look like in everyday motherhood. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity, and love yourself the way your babies already do — grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone. It’s Time for Mom. In this episode, I’m sharing 4 ways to fight comparison so you can appreciate your mom life without wishing you could escape motherhood.  Lean into how God wired you — not anger or frustration, but the character He placed in you to serve your family well. Redirect your attention when comparison creeps in; their life is never what it seems from the outside. If something isn’t working, release it — just like a broken toy that’s no longer serving its purpose. Finding what works for you takes time, prayer, and patience. • 102 | God Sees Every Mom and the Little Things She Does - Devotion 24.07.2026 9min
Do you ever look at your SAHM routines and wonder if the “little things” you do actually matter — especially as comparison starts to whisper that your impact should look bigger? Have you wondered whether anything of the seeds you’re planting in your kids is sinking in? Are you carrying quiet shame over being “ordinary,” forgetting that God sees the unseen, everyday acts of kindness and obedience as you serve your family? It’s Time for Mom. n this episode, I’m sharing how the small, ordinary things you do as a mom make an impact, so you can stop questioning your worth and start seeing how God is using your everyday acts of faithfulness to grow something beautiful in your home and your family. Small acts of love matter more than big moments. Ordinary motherhood carries Kingdom impact — kindness, service, generosity, and presence are the real “epic deeds” that push back darkness in everyday life. Jesus modeled humble, unseen service — He came as an unassuming servant, showing that greatness is found in obedience, not applause. Your daily work is worship — Scripture reminds moms that doing small tasks with excellence brings praise to God and carries eternal value. Seeds are growing even when you don’t see fruit. Don’t give up in the little things. • 101 | Feeling Like a Failure? Overcome Mom Guilt and Perfection with Guest Sandy Cooper 22.07.2026 48min
Do you feeling guilty with how you are a mother? Like no matter what you do, you should be doing something else? Have you been carrying mom guilt so long that it’s started to shape your priorities, your self‑esteem, and the way you see your own self‑worth? Are you constantly comparing yourself to other moms and wonder if you’re somehow doing motherhood “wrong” because you can't be "that mom"? If so, you’re in the right place.  Today, we have a super special guest, the amazing and fabulous Sandy Cooper! Sandy Cooper is an award-winning author of three books, a student of the Bible, and a professionally certified plant-based home chef. She has been married to Jon for over 32 years and is mom to three young adults, a son-in-law, and a nine-month-old son in Heaven. She has been helping frazzled moms find peace since 2008 at thescooponbalance.com and is the co-founder of Writing Off Social, where she helps female Christian writers grow their audience without social media. Sandy is the host of The Balanced MomCast, the cohost of Writing Off Social: The Podcast. She writes at Behind the Balance on Substack, from her home office in Florida, where she lives with her family (and the ocean). Key Takeaways: Social media comparison sets moms up to feel like they’re doing motherhood wrong. Mom guilt isn’t permanent — you grow, mature, and learn your way out of it. Feeling like you should always be doing something else is a sign of overwhelm, not failure. Embrace the kind of mom you are — chaos-loving or order-loving — without guilt. Nothing could have fully prepared you for the challenges of motherhood. If you had known every challenge ahead of time, you might have hesitated — but God knew you were the right mom. God hand‑selected you for your child and equips you for every challenge. You are the exact right mom for your child, no matter what you’re facing. When you feel like you’re failing, speak to yourself with the same kindness you’d give a friend. Great parenting cannot remove struggle from your child’s life — struggle grows resilience. Your perfection will not produce perfect kids. Self‑control is a fruit of the Spirit, and you have access to it because Jesus lives in you. Self‑control is a muscle — the more you use it, the stronger it becomes. You grow stronger every time you exercise the power God placed within you. Apologize early and often — humility transforms relationships. A good mom knows she is flawed and leads with honesty and humility. • 100 | Are You Helping or Hurting? A Faith Lesson Found in Motherhood - Devotion 17.07.2026 11min
Do your routines fall apart because you’re trying to “correct” everything around you instead of letting God lead? Have you caught yourself stepping into a role that isn’t yours — as a SAHM or even a believer? Are you struggling to keep your priorities rooted in love when discouragement, control, or perfectionism seem like the best thing in the moment but leave you filled with guilt instead of peace? If so, you’re in the right place.  Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. Cheryldavisauthor@gmail.com In this episode, I’m sharing how easily our correction can slip from love into control, so you can recognize the motives behind your reactions and begin responding with the kind of grace, patience, and Holy‑Spirit‑led love that actually builds relationships. Correction without love becomes control, damaging connection and growth — whether between siblings or believers. Love-led guidance creates room for choices, teamwork, and spiritual maturity, unlike rigid, controlling correction. Christians harm more than they help when correction starts from confrontation instead of compassion, sowing division instead of unity. Different convictions aren’t wrong — obedience to God is the standard, not legalism or personal preference. Our calling is to protect, encourage, and build up weaker believers, guarding their conscience rather than flaunting our freedom. If correction isn’t rooted in love, silence and prayer may be the best response, letting the Holy Spirit do His work. Do you ever feel your routines or priorities slipping because the weight of responsibility hits harder than you expected — and comparison starts whispering, "It's not worth it"? Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the responsibility in front of you and wondered if your perseverance is even making a difference? Are you struggling to remember your God‑given calling when the daily push to show up, teach, and stay consistent leaves you discouraged and wondering if you're invisible? Cheryldavisauthor@gmail.com In this episode, we're talking persistence in motherhood, calling, and life — not the glamorous kind, but the gritty, everyday perseverance when I’d rather quit. Thank you for sticking with me for a full year and almost 100 episodes. Your presence here matters more than you know. Perseverance often starts with panic. Responsibility stretches me, but God strengthens me in the stretch. Obedience builds momentum. This podcast grew because I kept showing up and trusted God with the results. Motherhood requires long‑term consistency. Teaching, training, and loving my kids is slow work — but it matters. Discouragement doesn’t mean I’m failing. It’s a normal part of parenting and calling, not a sign to quit. Faithfulness over perfection. God honors persistence even when I feel tired, unsure, or overwhelmed. Cheryldavisauthor@gmail.com Do you ever slip into routines that make you feel like you're “just a SAHM,” forgetting your God‑given identity is deeper than any role you fill? Have you noticed how quickly motherhood can overshadow your identity, making you forget you’re a daughter of the King? Are you measuring your self‑worth by the roles you carry instead of remembering you are deliberately designed, deeply loved, and more than any season you’re walking through? In this episode, I’m sharing how culture tries to define us by productivity and roles so you can release those expectations and rest in the truth that God calls you treasured, known, and deliberately designed. Your identity is not limited to motherhood — culture may label you “just a mom,” but God calls you chosen and loved. Roles shift, but your identity in Christ stays steady — when life changes, you don’t lose who you are; you are God’s daughter first. People may define you by what you do, but God defines you by who you are — His child, deliberately designed and deeply loved. You are more than your productivity — God values you beyond tasks, roles, or how much you accomplish in a day. Your story is bigger than any season you’re walking through — illness, motherhood, work, or struggle do not get the final say on your identity. Teach your children their identity in Christ — when they know who they are to God, they won’t be shaken by changing roles or expectations. God sees you as His treasured daughter — beloved, cherished, and held, no matter what role you’re currently living out. Cheryldavisauthor@gmail.com Do you ever get caught in routines that leave you overreacting, comparing yourself to other SAHMs, and wondering if your self-worth is tied to how “well” you’re mothering? Have you noticed how quickly mom guilt can hijack your priorities — pulling you into negative thought spirals before you even realize what your body is trying to tell you? Are you starting to see how your self-esteem shifts when you’re overwhelmed, making it harder to choose a calm response and remember the relationship God is forming in you as you parent your child? Meet Kelsey Redd, a wife, mom of 4 little kids, an adventurer, and most importantly, a disciple of Jesus Christ. She is the host of the Intentional Motherhood podcast, where she helps busy Christian moms create presence & purpose at home through simple mindfulness routines and sustainable spiritual practices. After a decade as a holistically trained Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Kelsey’s focus shifted from therapy into motherhood and spirituality, helping women align with God, shift their mindset, and find joy in motherhood without doing more. As a SAHM herself, she’s passionate about helping women create lives they love and to really enjoy motherhood! In this honest and hope-filled conversation, Kelsey Redd unpacks why moms slip into negative thought spirals — and how to stop them before they take over your day. Together we explore emotional regulation, spiritual alignment, and the powerful truth that parenting often reveals the places where we still need nurturing, healing, and re-parenting. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, reactive, or stuck in your head, this episode gives you practical tools and a faith-centered framework to breathe again. Key Takeaways Negative thought spirals lose power the moment you identify, articulate, and interrupt them. Emotional regulation works best when you practice it before you need it — not in the heat of the moment. Parenting is deeply connected to re-parenting yourself and healing the parts of you God is still shaping. Your relationship with your children often mirrors the relationship you’re trying to build with God. Awareness of your body — tension, breathing, posture — helps you understand what you’re actually feeling. You can choose your focus: there are always multiple experiences happening at once, and you get to decide which one you give attention to. Practical Techniques to Stop Negative Thought Spirals Identify when you’ve entered a negative spiral. Say it out loud or write it down to break the mental loop. Practice regulation habits regularly so they’re available when emotions spike. Notice your current emotional condition without judgment. Journal your triggers to reveal patterns. Recognize moments of overreaction before they escalate. Pause long enough to calm your body. Name what you’re about to do and how you’re f
  • 96 | Comparison Builds Walls, Grace Builds Friendships - Devotion 03.07.2026 7min
Do you go into momma bear mode when someone hurts your family, forgetting there may be a deeper story you can’t see? Have you ever compared your priorities to another person and wonder why they are doing things that don't make sense, instead of considering the invisible battles they might be fighting? Are you carrying judgement in a way that leaves you feeling guilty, instead of choosing grace that protects your peace and your relationships? If so, you’re in the right place.  Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. I learned the not‑so‑secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, building simple routines that supported my priorities, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self‑esteem and self‑worth really look like in everyday motherhood. It’s Time for Mom. In this episode, I’m sharing why what you can’t see in someone’s life matters more than what you do see, so you can stop carrying the weight of judgement and start responding with Christlike grace, empathy, and peace. Hurt people hurt people — look deeper before reacting. Judgement is easy; grace takes Holy Spirit strength. Invisible battles shape behavior more than we realize. Assumptions destroy relationships — curiosity repairs them. Understanding isn’t approval — it’s Christlike compassion. Leave condemnation to God — He sees the whole picture. Grace brings more joy than judgement ever will. • 95 | Breaking Free from Comparison: Lose Weight Without Losing Yourself with Coryn Brown & Crysanne Clay 01.07.2026 34min
Do you ever find yourself slipping into comparison—especially as a SAHM—letting someone else’s routines or body shape quietly rewrite your priorities and your sense of self-worth? Have you noticed moments where mom guilt makes you question your self-esteem or the way you care for your body, even though you’re doing the best you can in the season you’re in? Are you carrying expectations that don’t match your real life, making health feel like pressure instead of peace—and keeping you from honoring the body God entrusted to you? Today have an amazing interview with Coryn Brown and Crysanne Clay, a mother-daughter health coaching duo and the voices behind the Her Healthy Body Podcast. With over 20 years of combined experience working with women both in person and online, they specialize in strength training, protein-focused nutrition, and helping women rebuild their health after years of diet culture and extremes. — all while keeping God at the center of the journey. In this episode, we’re talking about the quiet trap so many moms fall into—trying to lose weight, only to lose themselves in the process. When health becomes about aesthetics instead of stewardship, comparison takes over, joy drains out, and the journey stops feeling holy, peaceful, or sustainable. This conversation brings you back to the why behind getting healthy, the warning signs of obsession, and the strength‑centered, God‑honoring approach that actually lasts. Why your “why” matters more than any number on the scale. The women who succeed long‑term are the ones who pursue health for deeper reasons—not just looks, but the ability to show up for their families, their calling, and their life. The truth about chasing a smaller version of yourself. A tinier body won’t make you happier. In fact, the more obsessed you become with losing weight, the more you tend to gain—because obsession steals peace, clarity, and consistency. The spiritual reset your health journey needs. Weight loss is a side effect, not the goal. You can hand control back to God and choose to honor the body He gave you with strength, nourishment, and compassion. Realistic expectations for real‑life seasons. Busy seasons will come. Your health habits should flex with your life, not break you. Peace is a fruit of healthy stewardship. Why strength is the healthiest definition of “healthy.” Strength builds sustainable body composition, confidence, and energy—without the obsession, comparison, or guilt. How comparison steals joy from your body image. When you measure yourself against others, you lose sight of the unique, God‑crafted body you’re called to care for. Warning signs that weight-loss has become an obsession: When looks become the focus When workouts feel like punishments When diet and exercise become attempts to control your life When your workout drains your energy instead of giving it Related Episodes, Devotions, and Links: Her Healthy Body Podcast:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/her-healthy-body-lose-weight-workouts-high-protein/id1586031822 Her Healthy Body Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/herhealthybody Her Healthy Body Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/her.healthy.body/ Website: herhealthybody.co Contact email: team@herhealthybody.
  • 94 | “Unqualified” Isn’t Disqualified — How God Turns Your Past Into Purpose. Devotion 26.06.2026 13min
Do you ever look at your past or your weaknesses — like Paul persecuting believers or you feeling unqualified as a mom, wife, or leader — and assume God can’t use someone like you? Have you let past mistakes and shortfalls convince you that God can’t use you for something more than the day-to-day? Are you tying your self‑worth to results instead of trusting God to work through your weakness? In this episode, I’m sharing my own journey of feeling unqualified — as a mom, wife, leader, and writer — so you can see how God works through ordinary women who simply choose to obey. God equips the willing, not the qualified. Your weakness is where God shows His power. Obedience matters more than credentials. Paul’s past became his testimony, not his disqualification. God uses you even when you feel unworthy. Results aren’t your job — obedience is. • 93 | Lost in Motherhood? Rediscover Your Identity, Self‑Worth, and Priorities as a SAHM 24.06.2026 9min
Do you ever feel like your routines are running your life instead of helping you protect your priorities — especially when mom guilt or comparison starts whispering that you’re not doing enough? Have you noticed how easily your self-esteem and self-worth get tangled up in being a SAHM, as if your identity begins and ends with what you do for everyone else? Are you carrying the weight of motherhood in a way that leaves you drained, overwhelmed, and unsure how to realign your priorities so you can actually enjoy your kids again? In this episode, I’m sharing some lessons on mom identity that I've learned in the last six years of motherhood so you can reject expectations and comparison in favor of reclaiming your identity as more than just mom.  The “respond to every cry” season is short — don’t stay stuck in it long‑term. As your family grows, boundaries matter; babies can wait a few minutes and older kids still need you. Small, steady adjustments help you realign motherhood with your true priorities. You’re a mom, but not only a mom — caring for yourself and your identity matters. Staying rooted in God shifts the whole atmosphere of your home and helps you show up with grace. • 92 | Feeling Unqualified, SAHM? What Moses Teaches Us About Flaws - Devotion 19.06.2026 9min
Do you ever slip into comparison or mom guilt when your routines don’t look “good enough,” even though God keeps reminding you He uses imperfect people on purpose? Have you noticed how your self-esteem takes a hit when you focus more on your flaws than on the calling God has placed on your life? Are you letting your priorities get swallowed by fear or insecurity instead of stepping forward in obedience, trusting that God qualifies the called? In this episode, I’m sharing how God uses our flaws and insecurities—just like He did with Moses—so you can step into your calling as a mom with confidence, courage, and a heart willing to obey even when you don’t feel enough. God uses your flaws on purpose, just like He used Moses’ weakness to reveal His strength. Your calling doesn’t require perfection, only a willing heart to obey even when you feel unqualified or insecure. Mom guilt and self‑doubt don’t disqualify you — God equips you as you step into what He’s asked you to do. Your weaknesses can become someone else’s encouragement, because God’s power shines brightest through the places you feel least confident. Obedience grows confidence, just like Moses became bold only after he started walking out his calling one step at a time. You can’t ruin God’s plan by being imperfect, because success in His eyes is measured in eternity, not instant results. • 91 | The Strength of Dad — and the Support He Needs From You 17.06.2026 9min
Does your husband do things so much differently that you that you twitch a little if you watch him? Have you wondered why your kids just respond differently and better to your husband than you? Are you trying to support and love your husband as he takes on fatherhood? In this episode, I’m sharing how dads uniquely shape their kids and how we can better support our husbands in parenting so you can build a stronger, more unified home where both parents thrive. Kids thrive when dads lead with calm strength, and their unique influence shapes confidence, discipline, and emotional security. Children learn by watching their dad, not just listening — modeling matters more than perfect parenting. Moms and dads parent differently, and that’s a gift, not a flaw. Different strengths create a fuller, healthier home. Backing your husband in front of your kids builds unity, stability, and trust in your family’s leadership. Disagreements about parenting belong in private, where unity can be restored without confusing your children. Respecting your husband publicly strengthens your marriage, and your kids learn how love and partnership work. Letting your husband “dad his way” empowers him, builds his confidence, and shows your kids that both parents matter. Protecting space for intimacy keeps your marriage strong, which ultimately strengthens your whole family. • 90 | Stop Comparison and Grow Your Faith Again - Devotion 12.06.2026 7min
Do you ever treat your spiritual routines like gummy vitamins — quick, cute, but not actually nourishing your heart? Have you felt that quiet sting of comparison or mom guilt when God exposes something uncomfortable in you — like anger you didn’t realize was there? Are you giving yourself grace for the slow, inconvenient growth seasons — the ones that stretch your self-worth while God prepares you for what’s next? In this episode, I’m sharing how spiritual growing pains show up in our everyday mom life — from “gummy vitamin” faith to the uncomfortable stuff God exposes — so you can recognize your own growth and walk into it with more confidence and grace. Spiritual growth needs real nourishment, not “gummy vitamin” faith. Just like your kids needed quality vitamins for healthy development, moms need Scripture, prayer, and reflection to strengthen spiritual routines and self‑worth. Growth is uncomfortable, even when it isn’t painful. Outgrowing shoes, clothes, and old habits mirrors how God stretches moms beyond comparison, anger, and old identities as He matures us spiritually. Your growing pains are personal — and they don’t define your worth. Some moms feel the “pain” of growth intensely, others barely notice it. Neither experience means you’re failing; it’s simply where you are in your walk with Christ. Spiritual growth rarely fits your schedule — but it prepares you for your next season. Just like kids suddenly needing new clothes overnight, God uses inconvenient seasons to prepare moms for new priorities, confidence, and calling. Growth reveals new strengths God planted in you long before motherhood. Compassion, patience, self‑control, and confidence emerge as God matures you — just like David’s long journey to kingship shows growth takes time and intention. • 89 | The Mirror and Scale Are Lying! Love Your Mom Bod and Boost Your Self-Esteem 10.06.2026 19min
Do you ever look at other bodies and instantly start the comparison game, like somehow her thighs not touching means she has her priorities more together than you? Have you let mom guilt and low self-esteem convince you that your worth is tied to your jeans size, your cellulite, or whether or not your thighs spread like pancake batter when you sit? Are you talking to yourself with the same kindness and confidence you want your kids to grow up with, or are you still tearing yourself down for things that are part of being woman in a real body? In this episode, I’m sharing the truth about our bodies—how they’re shaped, built, and how weight doesn't equal health—so you can stop beating yourself up, drop the comparison game, and finally see your own body with the confidence and compassion it deserves. Your body shape is mostly genetic — weight loss won’t change your bone structure. Every woman has lumps, bumps, rolls, cellulite, and stretch marks — they’re normal, not flaws. Your weight doesn't make you healthy. Health is a personal journey and built through consistent movement. Housework isn’t enough movement — your body needs intentional activity to thrive. Your body is uniquely yours — dress in ways that honor your convictions and comfort. Confidence is more attractive than any size, shape, or “perfect” body. Intimacy strengthens marriage and increases attraction — not a flawless body. You are beautiful, valuable, and worthy even when your body feels imperfect. Confidence can be a choice — speak to yourself the way you want your kids to speak to themselves. • 88 | Spiritual Growing Pains Got You Down? Restore Your Spiritual Health With These 4 Simple Steps - Devotion 05.06.2026 11min
Do you ever notice your routines slipping when life gets hard—leaving you feeling spiritually empty and fueling that familiar mom guilt as a SAHM trying to hold everything together? Have you been comparing yourself to other moms and wondering why your self-esteem or self-worth feels so fragile when your spiritual “nutrients” (prayer, Scripture, remembering God’s faithfulness) are running low? Are you carrying pain that feels heavier than it should because your priorities have shifted away from abiding in God—making every spiritual growing pain feel sharper and more overwhelming? In this episode, I’m sharing how to ease spiritual growing pains by getting close to God again, so you can walk through hard seasons with more peace, purpose, and strength. Spiritual growing pains often feel the worst when we’re far from God — distance amplifies the ache, closeness brings clarity and purpose. Abiding in God—through prayer, Scripture, and reflection—reduces the “ache” of growth because it reminds us that nothing is wasted in His hands. Just like our bodies need nutrients, our spirits need prayer, Scripture, remembrance, and worship to stay strong during stretching seasons. Remembering God’s past faithfulness strengthens trust in present trials, especially when life feels confusing or heavy. Worship in the middle of hardship becomes a testimony, showing the world a hope and peace that doesn’t make sense without Christ. • 87 | Slow the Summer Down! A Gentle Reset to Break Comparison and Mom Guilt 03.06.2026 9min
Do you ever get caught in summer routines that leave you wondering if you’re actually living by your real priorities or just trying to keep up with what everyone else seems to be doing? Have you felt that quiet mom guilt creep in when your days as a SAHM don’t look as “productive” or “fun” as someone else’s — even though you know comparison steals your peace? Are you noticing how quickly your self-worth takes a hit when the house is chaotic, the plans fall apart, or you don’t meet your own expectations — and is God inviting you to see yourself differently this season? Summer is here — and if you blink, it’ll be gone. But what if this year could feel different? What if you didn’t get to September wondering where the time went… or why you spent the whole summer rushing instead of enjoying it? In today’s episode, we’re talking about how to stay grounded, present, and intentional in the middle of summer chaos — without overcomplicating it or burning yourself out. Identify Your Summer Priorities Your priorities can shift with the season — and that’s healthy. Write down your top 3–4 for this summer and use them as your filter for decisions. Define Your “One Thing” What ONE thing would make this summer feel like a success? Name it. Protect it. Build around it. Simplify Your Plans You don’t need a packed schedule to have a meaningful summer. Slow down enough to enjoy the moments you’re actually living. Hold Loosely Plans will change. Kids will melt down. Weather will ruin outings. Flexibility is not failure — it’s wisdom. Remember to Rest Rest is not optional. Rest is how you stay present, patient, and connected to God and your family. A meaningful summer isn’t built by doing more — it’s built by choosing what matters and letting the rest go. • 86 | SAHM Priorities and the Dreams God Revives 29.05.2026 8min
Do you ever feel your self-worth slipping when your SAHM routines leave no room for the dreams you once held, making you wonder if you’ve fallen behind in comparison to everyone else? Have you carried quiet mom guilt for shifting your priorities, feeling torn between who you used to be and who motherhood is shaping you into? Are you wrestling with the fear that letting go of certain dreams means you’ve failed — instead of trusting that God may be reshaping them into something that honors your season and strengthens your self-esteem? In this episode, I’m sharing how God reshapes the dreams we’ve had to set aside in motherhood so you can release the guilt, honor your season, and find peace in the dreams He’s bringing back to life. Some dreams aren’t dead—just dormant. Motherhood often requires setting aside desires for a season, not forever. God transforms dreams in His timing. What once felt impossible or “over” can be reshaped and revived by Him. Your priorities shift with your season. What was healthy or exciting before kids may not fit the life you’re living now—and that’s okay. Surrender brings peace. When we release our dreams to God, He carries the outcome and breathes life where He chooses. New life comes after obedience.
