❤️ If you love the podcast and benefit from it, please consider joining our Patreon. 🎉 It’s Roger Waters & Mona Miari week on the podcast!🇵🇸 On June 12, 2026, the legendary Roger Waters and acclaimed Palestinian musician Mona Miari release a re-imagined version of the iconic song Comfortably Numb, 47 years after the original was released, with new Arabic verses that transform the Pink Floyd classic into a powerful battlecry to bring global attention to the continued genocide in Gaza. This new interpretation amplifies the song’s original message of rejecting extreme alienation and apathy and brings in new Arabic arrangements and melodies that evoke feelings of resistance and solidarity—themes that are increasingly relevant to the genocidal Israeli war waged against the Palestinian People.Comfortably Numb in 2026 is a direct response to the genocide in Gaza and affirms solidarity with the oppressed in Palestine and beyond. The project centers the responsibility of artists to reflect the world around them and to speak openly about injustice, humanity, and collective suffering. It demands an end to silence.🎧 Listen to Comfortably Numb Re-imagined📺 Watch Comfortably Numb Re-imagined🔥 Learn more here!----------------✊🏽 Join the Let’s Give A Damn community on Patreon!👕 Buy some of our merch!🔥 Follow Let’s Give A Damn on Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube.✉️ Sign up for our weekly Substack.📱 Reach out anytime: hello@letsgiveadamn.com.❤️ Have an amazing week, friends!
