827 - Attention, Focus, Distraction & Subtraction 29.06.2026 54minOver the past several weeks, I have become more aware than ever of just how valuable my attention is. In this episode, I talk about the importance of consciously choosing where I focus my attention, recognizing the distractions that pull me away from what matters most, and intentionally subtracting the things that create unnecessary open loops in my life and business. I share a recent conversation with my friend Vincent that helped me see how differently I relate to phone calls, text messages, direct messages, and notifications. I explain why I have intentionally removed almost all notifications from my life, why only my immediate family can interrupt me in real time, and how even one small red badge or unread message can pull my attention away from deep, focused work. I also talk about the growing trend of online communities through platforms like Facebook Groups, Mighty Networks, Circle, Skool, and Groups.io. While I believe online communities can be valuable when they serve a clear purpose, I also believe many people are confusing community activity with real progress. One of the biggest questions I explore in this episode is this: How many hours each week are you intentionally investing in conversations with the exact type of person you most want to serve? For many entrepreneurs, the answer is zero. They may be active in online communities, posting, commenting, networking, and responding to notifications, but they are not consistently focusing their attention on the conversations that would actually move their business forward. I also share how my daily reflection practice with my Plaud Note Pro and ChatGPT has helped me identify where my attention is leaking, where I am getting distracted, and what I need to subtract in order to stay aligned with the life and business I say I want to create. This episode is about attention, focus, distraction, and subtraction. Taking things to the next level can look like subtracting the things that keep pulling your attention away from the next aligned step. Questions I Ask In This Episode Where is your attention currently being spent? Is that attention producing the life and business you say you want? What do you need to unsubscribe from, mute, leave, or stop checking? Call To Action If this episode resonates with you, and you are an entrepreneur who wants more momentum in turning your vision for the future into reality, I’d love to invite you to learn more about Next Level Mastermind: Momentum. 826 - The Right Room Is Oxygen for the Entrepreneur 22.06.2026 47minThis past week, I attended Social Media Week Lima for the second year in a row. In this episode, I share a personal reflection on why I went, what I expected to experience, and what surprised me most. This is a reflection on how I think about live events, relationships, hallway conversations, front-row presence, peer connection, and the kinds of rooms that create meaningful transformation. For many years, my default conference strategy has been to spend less time in sessions and more time in the hallways, speaker rooms, dinners, and unscheduled conversations where deeper relationships are often formed. But this year, something shifted. I found myself sitting in the front row, fully present for speakers I respect, and I was reminded how meaningful that kind of presence can be. I know what it has meant to me over the years when peers like Dan Miller, Michael Hyatt, Pat Flynn, John Lee Dumas, Michael Stelzner, and others have sat in the room while I was speaking. This year, I had the opportunity to offer that same kind of presence to others. At the same time, some of the most meaningful moments of the event still happened in the unscripted conversations, in the VIP room, around the dinner table, and in the kind of peer dialogue that cannot be replicated. This episode is about the tension between those two forms of value. When is the right move to sit in the front row and fully witness someone’s craft? When is the right move to step into the hallway and have the deeper conversation? And what does all of this reveal about the importance of being in the right room with people who understand the journey you are on? I also share how this experience reminded me why I have been facilitating paid mastermind groups for entrepreneurs since October of 2010. The right rooms are oxygen for the business owner. If you do not currently have a room like that, I invite you to take a look at Next Level Mastermind: Momentum. 825 - I Create Rooms Where People Rise 15.06.2026 1h 24minThis is one of the most raw, authentic, and transparent episodes I’ve recorded in quite some time. I originally had an outline for this episode, but after starting the recording several times, I decided to let go of the structure and simply speak from my heart. In this episode, I share some of the clarity that has been emerging through my daily logging and reflection practice. This process has been helping me see the systems, patterns, thoughts, behaviors, and inner narratives that are creating both the results I desire and the results I do not desire. I also talk openly about my client creation process and the powerful role that the Prosperous Coach method has played in my business over the years. At the same time, I share a vulnerable realization: without proper filters and discernment, my generosity can begin to function more like a nonprofit ministry than a sustainable business. From there, I move into reflections on family, empty nest, aging parents, and my own identity as a father. I share what came up for me this weekend as I dropped Matthew off at the airport for his month-long study abroad experience in Japan, and how his words, “I love you, Dad. I’ll see you in a month,” opened up an emotional response in me that I did not expect. I also share two new soul songs I created this weekend: “The Life I Saw Inside” “I Create Rooms Where People Rise” These songs helped me reconnect with the deeper truth of the work I do in the world. I create rooms where people rise. Rooms where people can speak honestly. Rooms where they can name what they really want. Rooms where they can receive honest reflection and support. Rooms where they can find the next right move and follow through on what they choose. This episode is about clarity, fatherhood, business, family, emotion, calling, and the rooms we need in order to become who we are here to become. If you are ready for a room where you can rise, email me at Cliff@CliffRavenscraft.com and put “I’m ready for a room where I can rise” in the subject line.

824 - The Pruning Principle: Cutting Back What Has Overgrown 08.06.2026 35minIn this episode, I share a lesson that came to me while spending a full day working on the landscaping in front of our home. What began as a simple Saturday project of trimming bushes quickly became a powerful metaphor for life and business. Some of the shrubs in our landscaping had grown far beyond their intended place. They were healthy in one sense, but they had become invasive, disproportionate, and unmanaged. A light trim was not enough. Some of them had to be cut all the way back to the core. As I worked through that process, I realized that the same thing has been happening in areas of my life and business. Through my daily audio journaling practice, I have been paying closer attention to where my time, energy, focus, and commitments are actually going. That practice has revealed places where good things have grown beyond their proper boundaries. Some activities are valuable, but they have started to encroach on the space intended for something else. In this episode, I talk about how this has shown up in my business calendar, my invitation engine, my CRM, podcast production, commitments, spending, tools, and even identity. I also share how I am learning to distinguish between what needs a light trim, what needs radical pruning, and what may need to be removed altogether. The central idea is this: Unmanaged growth is not the same as healthy growth. Sometimes the next level does not begin by adding something new. Sometimes it begins by cutting back what has overgrown. In This Episode, I Talk About Why I decided to work on my own landscaping for the first time in twelve years. How overgrown holly and Japanese barberry bushes became a metaphor for life and business. The difference between healthy growth and unmanaged growth. Why some things need more than a light trim. How daily audio journaling has helped me identify blind spots and patterns. What I have noticed about my calendar, commitments, and business model. How CRM optimization began encroaching on my invitation engine. Why not every good idea belongs in the moment when it appears. The importance of pruning distractions even when they are valuable. Why pruning often looks ugly before it looks healthy. How I am evaluating my weekly commitments to The Cliff Ravenscraft Show and Podcast Answer Man. The question we all need to ask: “What has grown beyond its intended place?” Key Takeaway Not everything that grows is healthy simply because it is growing. Some things in life and business start out useful, beautiful, or productive, but if they are left unmanaged, they can eventually take over more space than they were ever meant to occupy. The work of pruning is the work of intentional leadership. Reflection Questions What has grown beyond its intended place in your life or business? What are you maintaining simply because it has always been there? What needs a light trim? What needs to be cut back to the core? What may need to be pulled out completely? Where have you confused activity with alignment? Where might things need to look bare for a season so they can become healthier later? 823 - The Tools We Forget to Use 01.06.2026 24minSometimes the next breakthrough does not require a new app, a new system, or a new strategy. Sometimes it comes from remembering a tool, rhythm, or practice that already worked for us in the past. In this episode, I share how rediscovering my Bose QuietComfort noise-canceling headphones and Focus@Will helped me return to a level of focus I had not experienced in quite some time. I had used this combination years ago with incredible results, then somehow drifted out of the habit. This week, I brought it back, and the difference was immediate. This episode is not really about headphones or Focus@Will. It is about noticing the tools, techniques, systems, frameworks, and environments that have already helped us accomplish meaningful work, then asking why we stopped using them. I also share how this rediscovery helped me stay focused during my Invitation Engine work, instead of drifting into CRM optimization and system tweaking during time that was meant for connecting with people, noticing signal, making invitations, and creating meaningful conversations. The question I invite you to sit with is this: What tool, technique, rhythm, or framework once worked reliably for you, but somehow fell out of your routine? If this episode helps you remember something worth bringing back, I’d love to hear from you. Email me at cliff@cliffravenscraft.com and let me know what you are returning to. 822 - The Most Powerful Journaling Practice I’ve Ever Experienced 25.05.2026 50minIn this episode, I share the newest evolution of my journaling practice and how it has become one of the most powerful tools I have experienced for pattern recognition, blind spot awareness, and personal transformation. I have been an avid journaler for many years. Journaling has always been a place where I process life, faith, emotion, business, relationships, decisions, desires, fears, and whatever else is moving through me. But recently, something has shifted. Using my Plaud Note Pro, I have been recording audio reflections throughout the day while thoughts, emotions, insights, tensions, distractions, and decisions are still fresh. Those reflections are transcribed, and then I bring them into ChatGPT, which has been trained with a great deal of context about who I am, what I value, what I am building, what I am committed to, and where I tend to drift. This has created a new level of conscious awareness throughout my day. I am seeing repeated thoughts, emotional states, moments of avoidance, distractions, aligned actions, misaligned actions, moments of peace, and the voice of my inner narrator with far greater clarity. The most meaningful part is that I am not waiting weeks, months, or years to recognize the patterns that are shaping my life. I am seeing many of them while I am still living them. In this episode, I talk about: Why this current practice feels like a new evolution of journaling for me. How recording reflections throughout the day helps me capture what I might otherwise forget. Why my life was already telling me the truth through my calendar, energy, emotions, body, attention, and repeated patterns. How ChatGPT has become a reflective mirror that helps me notice patterns and blind spots. Why this does not replace coaching, but actually reminds me why coaching and mastermind environments are so powerful. How becoming conscious of my thoughts, emotions, attention, and actions is helping me make cleaner decisions personally and professionally. Why seeing a pattern creates the possibility of making a new choice. The exact tool is not the point. The deeper invitation is to become more conscious of your life while you are living it. Notice your thoughts. Notice your emotions. Notice where your attention goes. Notice what creates peace. Notice what creates drift. Notice what you keep avoiding. Notice what your life keeps trying to show you. Once a pattern becomes visible, a new choice becomes possible. If you are in a season where you would value this kind of reflective space through coaching or a high-trust mastermind environment, I would be glad to hear from you. 821 - The Business Was Created To Support The Life 18.05.2026 1h 2minIn this episode, I recorded while out for a walk just before leaving for Texas with Stephanie and McKenna to help McKenna find an apartment for law school. After several full weeks of travel, speaking, coaching, family milestones, and meaningful connections, I found myself reflecting on what it really means for my business to support the life I want to live. I have spent a lot of time building relationship engines, follow-up systems, and rhythms for creating clients through genuine connection. And yet, there are moments when the most responsible thing I can do is recognize that the meaningful work has been done for the day, close the laptop, and be fully present with the people I love. The business was never meant to consume the life. It was created to support the life. If this episode resonates with you, send me an email. I’d love to hear from you at cliff@cliffravenscraft.com.

820 - What’s The Next Aligned Move? 10.05.2026 38minThe past few weeks have been full. Full of meaningful conversations, travel, family celebrations, coaching sessions, podcast commitments, and opportunities I deeply value. After preparing for and speaking at Social Media Marketing World 2026, logging 116 meaningful connections, spending full days with friends and colleagues, traveling home, serving clients, celebrating McKenna’s graduation, attending a concert with my dad, and waking up to Mother’s Day with more family commitments ahead, I realized something important: Even when life is full of good things, my nervous system still carries the weight of it all. In this episode, I reflect on what happens when meaningful opportunities, family moments, business responsibilities, and disrupted routines all arrive at once. The question that helped me move through the day was simple: What’s the next aligned move? Not the next ten moves. Not the whole plan. Just the next aligned move. For me, that meant calling my mom. Then being present with family. Then recording this episode. Sometimes life gives us a buffet of things we deeply value. Even then, we may not want all of it at once. This episode is about honoring the fullness, noticing what my body and nervous system are carrying, and choosing the next aligned step.

819 - Why More Listeners Won’t Fix Your Business 27.04.2026 47minThis episode came from a pattern I’ve seen over and over again. So many people come to me asking for audience growth strategies. They’ve been podcasting for a while, they feel like they’ve hit a plateau, and they believe the answer is getting in front of more people. In this episode, I challenge that assumption. I share my own experience of going from a tiny audience to tens of thousands of listeners almost overnight, and what that actually felt like behind the scenes. I talk about the pressure, the criticism, and the lack of clarity that came with rapid growth before I was ready for it. Then I walk through what I believe matters far more than audience size. I talk about alignment, responsiveness, influence, and relational depth. I share how I’m intentionally building relationships with people attending my upcoming workshop, and how that same approach applies to podcasting, even if you only have a small number of listeners. If you’ve been focused on growing your audience, this episode may invite you to think differently about what kind of audience you actually want to create. 818 - Why Most People Never Feel Conviction in Their Work 20.04.2026 33minIn this episode, I reflect on a recent coaching conversation where someone told me they wanted conviction in what they are building and about the direction they were going. As soon as I heard that, I asked two simple questions: What are you building? And where are you going? What became clear is something I’ve seen over and over again. Many people want to feel certain about their path without ever choosing one. I explore why we resist setting a destination in the first place. It often comes down to a desire to maintain freedom, avoid responsibility, or protect ourselves from getting it wrong. But what I’ve discovered through my own life and business is that conviction doesn’t come before the decision. It comes after. I share stories from my journey, including the different “destinations” I’ve chosen over the years, how I’ve changed direction, and even how I’ve “missed” some of them. And yet, every single one of those choices shaped who I am today. If you’ve ever felt uncertain about your direction, or questioned whether you’re moving in the “right” way, this episode will challenge how you think about clarity, commitment, and freedom. You don’t need to have it all figured out. But you do need to choose something. If something in this episode resonates with you and you’d like support in gaining clarity around what you’re creating in this season of your life, you’re always welcome to reach out. 817 - What Podcasting Actually Did to Our Life and Family 13.04.2026 1h 46minOver the years, I’ve told my origin story in podcasting many times. I’ve shared how I got started, how things grew, and how this work eventually became my full-time career. But what you’ve almost never heard is this story told alongside Stephanie. Recently, Stephanie and I were invited to be guests on the Our Family Invests podcast with Mike Neubauer. And after the conversation, we both agreed. This was our favorite interview we’ve ever done together. In this conversation, you’ll hear how podcasting impacted our marriage, our family, and our life as a whole. Stephanie shares her perspective on what it was like in the early days, what she saw that I didn’t, and how we navigated seasons of uncertainty, growth, and transformation together. We talk about: How podcasting started as a hobby and became something much bigger The role Stephanie played in the decision for me to leave my day job The early years of building something from nothing The unseen costs, including seasons of imbalance and overwork The turning points that led to more intentional boundaries, margin, and alignment How this journey shaped our kids and the way they see what’s possible There are moments in this conversation that I could never fully express on my own. Hearing Stephanie share her experience adds a level of depth and clarity that I think you’ll really appreciate. If you’ve ever wondered what podcasting can truly become over the long term, as a life-shaping creative practice, I believe you’ll find this episode meaningful. Special thanks to Mike Neubauer from the Our Family Invests podcast. 816 - The Art of Discernment in Client Creation 06.04.2026 1h 9minWhen I attend a conference, I have zero interest in collecting business cards or having surface-level conversations. I go with a very specific intention. I want to have at least 10 deep, meaningful conversations with people where there is real connection, real curiosity, and the potential to create something significant together. In this episode, I walk you through exactly how I approach those conversations, how I discern who to invite into a coaching experience, and how the Prosperous Coach Method has completely transformed the way I create clients. I also share a mistake I made at PodFest earlier this year that cost me dozens of meaningful follow-ups, and the modified system I’m now using to make sure that never happens again. This is the exact process I use in real time. In this episode, I talk about: How I think about ROI from conferences beyond just financial return What “discernment” actually looks like in a live conversation The 4-step Prosperous Coach Method and how I apply it today Why I no longer “pitch” or try to convince anyone to work with me How I decide who to invite into a complimentary coaching experience The note-taking system I used for years that created powerful follow-up What went wrong when I relied on business cards and conference apps How I’m now using the Plaud Note Pro to capture conversations and insights in real time My daily logging practice and how it’s increasing awareness, clarity, and momentum Links Mentioned In This Episode The Prosperous Coach Book: https://amzn.to/4vdaNJW The Plaud Note Pro: https://amzn.to/4sU2mBX Social Media Marketing World: https://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/smmworld/?sme=371 Let’s Have A Conversation If you are someone who is building a business around your ideas, your voice, and your ability to serve others at a high level, this episode will give you a behind-the-scenes look at how I think about relationships, invitations, and client creation. If something in this resonates with you and you’d like to experience this kind of conversation for yourself, you can email me directly: cliff@cliffravenscraft.com I’ll invite you into a complimentary coaching experience. 815 - The Invitation Engine That Changed Everything This Week 30.03.2026 50minThis week, I found myself in the hot seat in my long-running mastermind group. It’s a space that has shaped so much of my life and business over the past 15 years. I came in with a clear intention. I want to fill both groups of the Next Level Mastermind within the next 90 days. At one point in the conversation, I said something out loud that immediately caught my attention. “I think there are only one or two people I could invite into a coaching experience right now.” As soon as I heard it, I knew it wasn’t true. That single moment led to a deeper reflection on how I had been operating. I had been filtering people out before ever giving them the opportunity to say yes. I had been waiting for a sense of certainty instead of creating the experience where clarity and resonance actually emerge. After the call, I sat down and processed everything. What came out of that was something I’m now calling my invitation engine. A simple, consistent approach: 10 invitations per day. Every weekday. For the next 90 days. The only question I’m asking is this: Do I genuinely believe a coaching conversation with me could serve this person right now? If the answer is yes, I send the invitation. Within the first three days, the results were immediate. Thirty invitations went out, and 12 people have already said yes. Conversations are scheduled. Momentum is building. In this episode, I walk through the blind spots that surfaced, what changed for me, and how I’m moving forward from here. If you’ve ever felt like you need more time, more clarity, or more certainty before taking action, there may be something here for you. And if you’re an entrepreneur who would value a powerful coaching conversation around what you’re building and where you want to go next, you’re welcome to reach out. cliff@cliffravenscraft.com

814 - Why I’m Done Performing and Back to Just Hitting Record - At Least For This Episode 23.03.2026 1hThis episode wasn't planned out beforehand. No outline. No prep. No attempt to make it “valuable.” Just me hitting record and sharing what’s been on my mind and heart. I’ve been thinking a lot about the kind of content I actually enjoy consuming. The kind where someone just shows up, talks, and lets you into their real experience of life. No performance. No polish. No filtering everything through what they think will land best. Just honest, present conversation. I share a bit about a few creators who have been inspiring me lately, and why this style of communication still feels like the most meaningful to me. From there, I go into what’s been shifting in my own thinking around business, especially after finishing Company of One. I’ve gained a deeper clarity about who I’m creating for and what kind of work I actually want to build moving forward. I also talk about a book that found its way to me at exactly the right time, Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert, and how it reawakened something that’s been quietly pursuing me for years. That led me to make a commitment to finally write my book on mastermind groups. Along the way, I share what’s been happening behind the scenes this past week. New episodes published, conversations that stood out, a return to early morning reading and journaling, and a sense that things are coming back into alignment in a way that feels both simple and deeply satisfying. This is one of those episodes where you either resonate with the style or you don’t. 813 - The Invisible Force That Determines Business Success 16.03.2026 40minIn today’s episode, I’m sharing a replay of a conversation I had two years ago with Alex Freeman on the UpFlip podcast. When that interview first aired, it quickly became one of the most significant entry points into my world. For several months afterward, people were reaching out to me saying they had discovered my work through that interview. Many told me they had listened to the episode multiple times, taken notes on it, journaled about it, and even meditated on the ideas we discussed. As I listened back to that conversation recently, I realized something important. Every answer I gave in that interview still reflects exactly how I think today. Nothing about my perspective has changed. If anything, the principles we discussed have only been reinforced through my experience since then. In this episode, Alex and I explored one central theme: the invisible force behind business success. That force is mindset. The beliefs you hold about what is possible, what you deserve, what value you bring, and how the world works will ultimately shape every action you take and every result you experience. What follows are the core insights from our conversation. Insights From This Episode Success in business is far less about tactics and far more about mindset. Many entrepreneurs believe the key to success lies in strategies, marketing systems, funnels, or technical knowledge. While those things can be helpful, they are not the true determining factor. In my experience, success in business is about 20 percent knowing what to do and 80 percent mindset. Mindset is the collection of beliefs that determine how you interpret the world. These beliefs influence how you think, how you feel, the actions you take, and ultimately the results you produce. Every belief carries consequences. If you believe something to be true, your subconscious mind will work to create experiences that align with that belief. Most of our beliefs were formed very early in life. Many of them were established before we even developed the ability to critically evaluate what we were being told. Messages from parents, teachers, religious leaders, peers, media, and culture often shaped our beliefs about money, work, success, and possibility. Many of those beliefs remain active decades later, often operating beneath our awareness. One of the most powerful distinctions in business is the difference between an employee mindset and a business mindset. An employee mindset tends to associate income with time spent working. A business mindset understands that people pay for value and transformation rather than time. When entrepreneurs fully adopt the belief that value determines income, their approach to business begins to change dramatically. A growth mindset is essential for entrepreneurship. A fixed mindset assumes that talents, abilities, and intelligence are largely predetermined. A growth mindset recognizes that skills can be learned, expanded, and developed through effort, curiosity, and practice. Entrepreneurs must continually adapt, learn new skills, and evolve their thinking. Without a growth mindset, it becomes extremely difficult to navigate the changing landscape of business. Many of the statistics surrounding business failure can be traced back to mindset. A large percentage of businesses fail within their first few years. While there are many surface-level explanations for this, I believe the deeper cause often lies in limiting beliefs, fear, and an inability to adapt one's thinking when circumstances change. There are several clear signs that someone’s mindset may be limiting their business growth. One of the most obvious indicators is chronic stress and overwhelm whenever unexpected situations arise. Another indicator is inconsistent profitability over time. When entrepreneurs constantly feel reactive, anxious, or uncertain, it often points to underlying beliefs that need to be examined. Mindset can be revealed through simple questions. I often ask people questions such as: What outcome do you want that you are not currently experiencing? Do you believe it is possible? What actions could move you closer to that outcome? Why haven’t those actions already been taken? Questions like these often expose the beliefs that are quietly shaping someone's behavior. Once limiting beliefs are identified, they can be replaced. The process involves identifying the belief, discovering where it came from, evaluating whether it is actually true, and intentionally replacing it with a more empowering belief. Repetition and environment play a major role in reinforcing new beliefs. Many people attempt to change their beliefs through affirmations alone. Affirmations can be powerful, but they only work when they are aligned with deeper subconscious beliefs. If a person repeats a statement that their subconscious mind rejects, the affirmation will have little impact. Real mindset change requires addressing the underlying belief structures that already exist. One of the fastest ways to shift your thinking is through exposure to new perspectives. Books, courses, coaching, and mentorship can introduce ideas that challenge long-held assumptions. When new insights are repeated and reinforced, they can begin to reshape the way we interpret the world. The mastermind principle is one of the most powerful tools for expanding mindset. When two or more people come together in a spirit of collaboration and shared intention, they can generate insights that no individual could produce alone. A well-structured mastermind environment exposes participants to new ideas, new possibilities, and new ways of thinking. The quality of your peer group has a profound impact on your mindset. The expectations of the people around you will influence what you believe is possible for your own life and business. Surrounding yourself with individuals who are growing, learning, and expanding their thinking can accelerate your own growth dramatically. Successful entrepreneurs also tend to share several daily habits. Many invest time in reading and studying for insight rather than simply looking for information they already agree with. They journal and reflect on their experiences. They prioritize physical health, rest, and mental clarity. They deliberately manage the information they consume, avoiding excessive negativity from media and other external sources. Setbacks and unexpected outcomes are inevitable in business. The difference lies in how they are interpreted. A success-oriented mindset sees setbacks as temporary and instructive. Each obstacle becomes an opportunity to refine the approach and develop a more effective plan moving forward. Perhaps the most important takeaway from this entire conversation is this: all beliefs have consequences. The beliefs you hold will shape your perception of opportunities, influence the actions you take, and ultimately determine the results you experience in business and in life. If you change your beliefs, you change your trajectory. Next Level Mastermind One of the most powerful ways to expand your mindset and accelerate your progress is to surround yourself with the right peer group. Since November 2017, I have been facilitating the Next Level Mastermind. This is a small group of service-focused entrepreneurs who are committed to growing their businesses while cultivating a powerful and positive mindset. Each week we come together for focused conversations where members bring their insights, experience, skills, and creativity to help one another navigate challenges and pursue ambitious goals. As the facilitator, I am there not only to guide the conversation but also to mentor and coach each member along their journey. If you resonate with the ideas in this episode and would value being part of a group that is deeply committed to growth, contribution, and transformation, I would love to explore that possibility with you. 812 - What Legacy Really Looks Like: The Ripple Effect of Your Voice 09.03.2026 41minEarlier this week I was a guest on Ken Freire’s podcast, and near the end of our conversation he asked me a question I’ve been asked many times over the years: “What legacy do you hope to leave behind?” Over the years, I’ve realized that legacy isn’t something I’m hoping to build someday in the future. It’s something that has already been unfolding through the conversations I’ve had, the encouragement I’ve offered, and the content I’ve created over the past twenty to thirty years. In this episode, I reflect on what legacy really means to me. I share stories about handwritten letters I’ve received from listeners whose lives were deeply impacted by something they heard on a podcast episode. I talk about the ripple effects we can never fully see, including people whose paths were changed years ago by something we said without ever realizing it. I also reflect on the incredible power of simply using your voice to encourage, equip, and inspire others. Whether it’s through podcasting, conversations, writing, or any other form of communication, the words we put into the world can influence lives in ways that continue for generations. Words truly do create worlds. Links Mentioned: Rise Above Chaos Podcast (Episode where Eric interviewed me) What Are You Creating? It’s a community of entrepreneurs who are committed to meaningful work, deep relationships, and continuing to grow personally and professionally. If that sounds like something you’d like to explore, send me an email. Cliff@CliffRavenscraft.com I’d love to hear from you.

811 - Showing Up Even When I’m Not Feeling It 02.03.2026 59minThis episode did not start smoothly. In fact, this was the fifth time I hit record. No opening jingle. No outline. No clear sense of where I was going. Just a quiet Sunday afternoon and a question I’ve wrestled with many times over the last twenty years. Is there value in showing up when you don’t feel like you have something new, polished, or particularly compelling to say? I talk candidly about my resistance to creating content just to meet a deadline, and why that framing has never sat well with me. I explore the difference between creating content for the sake of output and showing up for a community that has chosen to walk alongside me over time. Along the way, I share some thoughts from my recent reading, including What’s Your Dream by Simon Squibb and Company of One by Paul Jarvis, and how they’ve stirred deeper questions for me about purpose, scale, and what it really means to build a meaningful life and business. I also take you behind the scenes of something that’s been absorbing a lot of my attention lately. The software I’m building to rethink how we discover, filter, and engage with podcast content. What started as a personal solution to podcast overload has become a surprisingly powerful way to stay connected to people I care about and the work they’re putting into the world. This episode meanders. It doubles back. It questions itself in real time. And that’s intentional. It’s not an episode I would recommend as an introduction to this show. But if you’ve been listening for a while, if you enjoy hearing how I think through ideas as they’re still forming, and if you value the human side of creative work, I think you’ll find something here. If you listen all the way through, I’d love to hear from you. You can email me at cliff@cliffravenscraft.com. And if you and I have never worked together before, I also mention a limited opportunity for a small number of one-on-one coaching sessions over the next ninety days. That invitation is in the episode itself. Thanks for being here. Thanks for walking with me. And as always, I encourage you to take everything you do to the next level.

810 - When Opportunity Is Everywhere, Discernment Becomes the Priority 23.02.2026 1hThe first seven weeks of this year have been full. There have been more ideas, invitations, and opportunities than I could possibly pursue all at once. In past seasons, that kind of abundance would have led me straight into overwhelm. What’s different right now is that I feel more grounded and more clear than I have in a very long time. In this episode, I share what’s been helping me stay that way. I talk about a handful of things that may sound unrelated on the surface, but together tell a much bigger story about attention, focus, and discernment. You’ll hear me reflect on: Why a small, distraction-free e-ink reader unexpectedly replaced most of my TikTok scrolling How reading more has given me something to look forward to at the end of the workday The email newsletter system that used to work perfectly, how it broke, and what I changed to reduce noise Why too much good information stacked on top of itself becomes a liability The surge of meaningful conversations that followed the return of Podcast Answer Man How those conversations brought clarity about what my audience actually needs right now What it looks like to slow down and filter opportunity instead of reacting to it How surrounding myself with the right people has made all the difference This episode is about choosing what gets access to my mind, my energy, and my calendar when the number of good options feels endless. A Personal Invitation If you’re an entrepreneur, content creator, or thought leader who feels surrounded by opportunity but wants more clarity about what actually matters right now, this may be a season where proximity and conversation matter more than information. The most grounding, clarifying conversations I’m having are with the members of my Next Level Mastermind. This is a small, intentional group of service-first entrepreneurs who are committed to growth, depth, and meaningful work. We don’t rush decisions. We don’t chase every shiny object. We ask better questions and help each other discern the right next step. If you feel drawn to that kind of environment and want to explore whether Next Level Mastermind is a fit for you, email me directly at Cliff@CliffRavenscraft.com. We’ll schedule a 30-minute conversation and see if it makes sense for us to do this next season together.

809 - Audio, Video, and the Long Game of Content Creation 16.02.2026 1h 35minThis conversation was recorded at the Cincinnati Podcast Studio with Brian Erickson. I originally invited Brian to join me for an episode of my What Are You Creating? podcast, which I typically produce as an audio-only show. Since Brian runs a studio devoted to high-quality video podcast production, he invited me to come to the studio and record the conversation there. This is a very unscripted conversation. It begins as an interview, but it naturally becomes a genuine exchange between two podcast professionals exploring how we each think about content creation. Where it’s been. Where it is now. And where it might be headed. At one point, Brian asks me to share my perspective on audio versus video, content ownership, and some of the principles that have shaped the way I approach creating and publishing work. If you care about creating meaningful work and playing a long game with your content, I think you’ll enjoy it. You don’t have to do this journey by yourself. I’ve reopened the Next Level Mastermind. It’s designed for entrepreneurs who are committed to growth, service, and bringing their full education, experience, skills, and perspective into a trusted peer environment where everyone contributes and everyone benefits. If you feel a pull toward doing this work alongside other thoughtful, accomplished people who understand the decisions you’re facing, email me directly at cliff@cliffravenscraft.com and put “Next Level Mastermind” in the subject line. I’d love to explore whether it makes sense for us to journey together.

808 - Going Deeper Into the Vibe Coding Rabbit Hole 09.02.2026 57min In this episode, I take you even further down the rabbit hole of vibe coding and share what I have built in just one week using Replit and AI-assisted development. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a fully functioning software tool I am actively using in my own workflow. I walk through the evolution of my new app, PodBriefer—why I built it, how it works, and the real-world problems it solves for me as a coach working with entrepreneurs who are also content creators. I explain how the app lets me subscribe to podcasts, search the Apple Podcasts directory, store episodes locally for instant access, generate transcripts, download audio files, and analyze content without the friction I used to accept as normal. I also share how I am using custom GPTs to create deep-dive summaries, pull quotes, action items, and insights from transcripts. You will hear how I connected the app to Kindle to automatically turn podcast episodes into EPUBs, complete with cover art, show notes, transcripts, and a table of contents, so I can read, highlight, and extract notes directly into my thinking and journaling workflow. Along the way, I talk candidly about costs, tradeoffs, beta limitations, and what this kind of tool might make possible in the future, both for me and potentially for others. This episode is a behind-the-scenes look at how AI is changing the way I build, think, and work right now.
