Discipline Diaries is an unfiltered audio journal about life, faith, ambition, failure and personal growth. The host has set a 448-day challenge to show up for at least 10 minutes a day, recording honest reflections on business, purpose, relationships, health and consistency. Some episodes focus on scripture, prayer or random thoughts, while others simply work through a difficult day. There is no curated image or forced inspirational lesson — just imperfect progress, and eventually conversations with people navigating their own journeys. The recurring themes are God, body, purpose, order and discipline.

Day 6 — Learning to Surrender 19.10.2026 11minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!I believe God is faithful. So why do I still want a preview of the next three to six months? In Day Six of Discipline Diaries, I’m talking about the gap between saying “let go and let God” and actually trusting Him when I can’t see how things will work out.A sermon and Psalm 68:19 have me reflecting on God as my Father, His daily provision, and my need to control every outcome. I’m learning what it means to put the faith I talk about into practice.I close with a prayer for those of us who worry, overthink, and feel responsible for figuring everything out.Surrender doesn’t mean I stop caring. It means learning to care without believing I have to carry everything alone. -
Day 5 — Getting Lost in a Book 19.10.2026 8minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!Does everything I do have to be productive—even reading? After a stressful week, I’m turning to something I’ve loved since childhood: getting lost in a fictional world. No serious reading goals, no lessons I’m supposed to learn. Just a story I want to enjoy. In Day Five of Discipline Diaries, I’m talking about mental exhaustion, the guilt that follows me into my downtime, and why even colouring became another thing to overthink.I’m still learning how to enjoy myself without mentally counting everything I could be getting done. Today, I’m choosing a book and trying to let that be enough. -
Day 4 — The Emotional Cost of Client Work 19.10.2026 8minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! How much of my working day is actually within my control? In Day Four of Discipline Diaries, I’m talking about the emotional toll of depending on client work while trying to build something for myself. From last-minute requests to feedback that shakes my confidence, being accommodating can leave my own priorities constantly pushed aside. But growing my business brings its own uncertainty. Investing time, money, and effort doesn’t guarantee new clients—or working relationships that feel right.I don’t have all the answers. For now, I’m focusing on what I can control: my effort, the quality of my work, my boundaries, and my willingness to keep going. An honest entry about self-doubt, financial pressure, and finding the faith to keep building without knowing exactly how it will turn out. -
Day 3 — The Weight of Expectations 19.10.2026 7minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! What happens when the pressure to do more comes from you?In Day Three of Discipline Diaries, I’m reflecting on the expectations I’ve placed on myself—the desire to help my parents, support my family, and build something meaningful, even while my own plans keep getting pushed back.Nobody has demanded these things from me. But wanting to give more has started to feel like I’m never doing enough. This is a shorter, vulnerable entry about ambition, overwhelm, and the difficulty of trusting God through a process that feels painful and unfinished. I don’t have a neat answer today. I’m trying to learn how to carry my ambition differently, without shrinking my dreams or letting them consume me. -
Day 2 | Building a New Life While Managing the Old One 15.10.2026 14minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! How do you build a new life when your current responsibilities keep taking over?Day Two started with a headache and a carefully planned week that quickly unravelled. Two client meetings brought roughly 64 tasks and moving parts—and once again, I’m wondering how to honour my commitments to others without constantly postponing the promises I’ve made to myself.Today’s entry is an honest conversation about client work, personal ambitions, rest, and whether giving myself grace means letting myself off the hook. There’s also a very serious disagreement with sugar-free cranberry ginger ale.I haven’t figured it all out. But I’m still recording, still reading Scripture, and looking for small changes I can sustain.I close with Deuteronomy 31:6–8 and a reminder I need as much as anyone: God goes before me. I can step into tomorrow with courage. -
Day 1 | Not All Starts Go As Planned 14.10.2026 14minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!Well, it's officially Day One, and things didn't exactly go according to plan.I had a very different idea of what today would look like, but somewhere between eight-plus hours of work, grocery shopping, making dinner, a headache, and a growing to-do list, I realized something: just because a day doesn't go as planned doesn't mean it was a failure.Today's theme? Do it dirty. Show up imperfectly. Give yourself some grace, and recognize the wins—even when they don't look the way you imagined.I also get honest about something I've been struggling with for a while: my relationship with God. We talk about shame, feeling spiritually distant, the difficulty of returning to something you've neglected, and the reminder that falling down doesn't mean you can't get back up.There's a little reflection on Jeremiah 17:7, an unexpected connection to House of David, some thoughts about writing and finding balance, and a prayer to close things out. It's messy. It's honest. And it's Day One.Not everything got done, but I showed up.Welcome to Discipline Diaries.God. Body. Purpose. Order. Discipline.Aligned & Assigned. -
Day 0.75 | Making Room for Rest 13.10.2026 11minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Why do I feel guilty for resting?Today was Thanksgiving and my first full day off work in about a year. I had big plans to prepare for my 75-day challenge, but when I woke up, all I wanted was a day when nobody needed anything from me.In Day 0.75 of Discipline Diaries, I’m working through the guilt of unfinished tasks, my habit of overscheduling, and the fear of starting something I might not finish. I’m also questioning what work-life balance looks like when you’re building a business and wearing every hat.Tomorrow is still Day One. The preparation isn’t finished, and I’m nervous—but I’m choosing to begin anyway, with faith, hope, and a little grace.Maybe part of preparing was letting myself rest. -
Day 0.5 | Resurrecting Old Plans 12.10.2026 16minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! What if the problem wasn’t the plan—but that I never gave it a consistent chance? In Day 0.5 of Discipline Diaries, I’m revisiting dreams, goals, and plans I’ve written down, abandoned, and sometimes completely forgotten. As I clear my room and work through unfinished tasks, I’m also making space to try again. This is an honest, winding conversation about regret, giving myself grace, preparing for my 75-day challenge, and rebuilding my relationship with God. I’m reminding myself that I don’t have to get everything together before seeking Him—and that a previous attempt doesn’t have to be the end of the story.Maybe I don’t need another dream. Maybe I need to give an old one the attention it deserves.Even if it’s scary, try again. -
Day 0.25 | What If I Gave My Dreams a Fighting Chance? 11.10.2026 17minGot something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!I've made the plans. Created the vision boards. Written the letters to my future self. Set the goals. Started with all the motivation in the world. And then, somewhere along the way, I stopped.Again and again. This episode wasn't planned or scripted. It's an honest conversation about feeling stuck, struggling with consistency, carrying the shame of unfulfilled goals, and wondering what would happen if I finally gave my dreams a fighting chance.I talk about my relationship with God, the changes I want to make in my health and personal life, the dreams I've put on hold, and why I'm choosing to document this journey one day at a time. There are awkward pauses, repeated words, random thoughts, and a prayer at the end. I'm leaving them in.This is Day 0.25. Not quite Day One, but a beginning nonetheless.I don't have everything figured out. I just want to be able to look back someday and say, "I'm proud of you. You actually followed through."Welcome to Discipline Diaries.God. Body. Purpose. Order. Discipline.
